Collaboration of Hexahelix In Developing Natural Tourism Potential

Kuningan Regency is located in the province of West Java which borders Central Java province, with good natural resources to be developed into tourism and becoming one of the sources of Regional Budget Revenue (PAD), so with this we conducted research on tourism in Kuningan Regency with The method we use is a qualitative method, namely by collecting data. From these results, it turns out that tourism is not yet optimal in Kuningan Regency due to the budget and lack of participation by the government and private sector in increasing tourism in Kuningan Regency. To increase tourism, collaboration between stakeholders is needed. The research results show that in the collaboration process carried out in developing tourism potential in the National Nature Tourism Park in Kuningan Regency, this cross-sector collaboration is effective in achieving sustainable development goals, especially at the village level. The success of this program illustrates the potential of the Hexa Helix collaborative model as a solution to global challenges.

The tourism industry is undergoing significant changes with the advancement of digital technology, known as digital tourism. Digitalization has changed the way tourist destinations are promoted, accessed, and managed, including through the concept of rural tourism or tourism villages. Temesi Village in Gianyar Regency, Bali, has great natural and cultural tourism potential. However, to optimize this potential, digital media is needed, such as website creation. The WordPress platform was chosen for its advantages, including a large user community, ease of use, design flexibility, and data security. This step aligns with the digital village program supported by the Community Empowerment Agency and Primakara University. It is hoped that the creation of this website will introduce and promote the tourism potential of Temesi Village to the general public and tourists, as well as support sustainable tourism development in the area.

One of the sectors in tourism that is currently the main focus is Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition (MICE). MICE relates to the organization of business meetings, incentive programs organized by companies, large-scale meetings involving participants from various places, exhibitions, and many more. MICE contributes greatly to the economic growth of a region by bringing in revenue streams from event participants, as well as driving consumption in the local tourism sector, such as accommodation, restaurants and transportation. Jember Regency, located in East Java Province, has the potential to develop a promising MICE sector. Jember has a number of advantages to attract attention as a MICE destination and is one of the largest regencies in East Java with a variety of natural, cultural and creative economy tourism potential. Jember’s natural beauty, from beautiful beaches such as Papuma Beach to verdant mountains such as Mount Argopuro, provides an enchanting backdrop for many MICE events. Cultural treasures, such as the internationally renowned Labako Dance and Jember Fashion Carnaval, add to the appeal.

One of the tourist attractions developed in the Samin Cultural Village which is located in Japanese Hamlet, Margomulyo Village, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency is through educational tourism on the cultivation of matoa fruit and crystal guava. The development of this educational tourism began with outreach activities to local pokdarwis to plant matoa fruit and crystal guava seeds in the camping area. The research method used by the author is qualitative research. The data collection technique used in this research is through direct observation, interviews, recording documents and journal articles. Interactive data analysis techniques. The research results show that with a variety of natural and cultural tourism potential, this village is developing educational tourism about matoa fruit and crystal guava, which are suitable for planting in the area. This development involves outreach and planting seeds, aimed at increasing tourist visits and community income.

Application of 4A Concept in Bogor Botanical Garden Tourism Development Strategy

Indonesia is very rich in natural tourism potential (ecotourism), one of which is natural tourism in conservation areas. Bogor Botanical Garden is an ex-situ conservation area that has long been used by the wider community as a tourist attraction and in many countries, Bogor Botanical Garden is one of the most popular tourist destinations because it presents a panoramic view of natural landscape architecture. The research entitled "Application of the 4A Concept in the Development of Bogor Botanical Garden Tourism" focuses on the 4A concept, namely Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities, and Ancillary services. This type of research is qualitative, using qualitative descriptive analysis methods. Data collection is carried out by means of field observation, interviews, and literature studies. SWOT analysis was also used in this study, to identify the strengths and opportunities of Bogor Botanical Garden, and determine strategies to reduce weaknesses and challenges. The results showed changes in the management system of Bogor Botanical Garden. By analyzing the 4A concept, this study seeks to provide recommendations for the right development strategy for KRB, so that it can develop better and the vision of Bogor Botanical Garden can be achieved.

Didimera tourism village development strategy in Timor Leste

A tourism village is a rural area that has developed its natural, cultural or historical tourism potential to attract tourists. This research aims to understand community perceptions regarding the development of Didimera Tourism, Vessoru village, Uatolari sub-district, Viqueque District, Timor Leste, designing beach-based religious tourism designs, inventorying tourist facilities, involving stakeholders, and formulating tourism village development strategies. The data collection techniques used in this research are: documentation, observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT analysis method, which includes identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of the Didimera Tourism Village. The research results show that the development of the Didimera Religious Tourism Village in Vessoru Village, Uatolari District, Viqueque District has great potential to improve the local economy, preserve culture and the environment, and provide a memorable tourism experience for visitors. Didimera tourism village development strategy based on local communities that is holistic and sustainable.

Sustainable Tourism Industry in Indonesia through Mapping Natural Tourism Potential: Taxonomy Approach

Rembang Regency is located on the north coast of Java Island, Central Java Province, Indonesia, which has many beaches ideal for tourism activities. Even though it has the charm of beaches, natural tourist destinations are still the primary choice compared to cultural and artificial sites. However, limited studies exist regarding standard indicators for assessing natural tourism potential in Rembang Regency, which is essential for identifying potential tourist locations. This research focuses on grouping indicators of natural tourism potential based on six main aspects: attractions, amenities, accommodation, activity, accessibility, and ancillary services, environment in tourist areas, and human resources considerations. A taxonomic model will be utilized to develop a procedure for determining natural tourism potential, including indicator weighing via a hierarchical analysis. The findings will yield a taxonomy model aiding information and knowledge management, fostering information sharing and utilization. Moreover, the established procedures will facilitate an accurate and efficient determination of natural tourism potential. This research aims to contribute to sustainable natural tourism management in Rembang Regency, preserving nature while enhancing the tourist experience.

Penilaian Potensi Wisata Alam di Taman Nasional Kerinci Seblat Wilayah IV Sangir

National park areas in Indonesia have biodiversity which can be a special attraction for tourists. The aim of this research is to determine the attractiveness, access to tourist attraction locations, and classification of the feasibility of potential natural tourist attractions in South Solok Regency. The research method uses the Analysis Guidelines for Assessment of Operational Areas-Objects and Natural Tourism Attractions. There are six natural tourism potentials, namely, Ulu Tulisi Waterfall, Andalas Waterfall, Pincuran Tujuh, Bukit Bontak Lake, Mount Kerinci Climbing Route via South Solok, and Sungai Dalam Lake Bukit Bontak Waterfall and the Mount Kerinci Climbing Route via South Solok have high scores. highest in the attraction aspect and accessibility aspect. Based on the assessment of both aspects, Bukit Bontak Lake and the Mount Kerinci Climbing Route via South Solok are the main priorities because they received the very worthy category. The results of this analysis can determine the direction of development of natural tourist attractions in the Sangir Region IV National Park Management Section.

Identification of 5A in Curug Leuwi Hejo

Tourism has an important role in the Indonesian economy, including in Bogor which has attractive natural tourism potential. One of the natural tourist destinations in Bogor is Curug Leuwi Hejo in Cibadak Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to examine the experience of tourists visiting Curug Leuwi Hejo and analyze the 5A strategy carried out by the manager to improve the tourist experience. The research method used is qualitative with observation techniques and interviews with tourists. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative and SWOC analysis. The results showed that Curug Leuwi Hejo has the potential for natural attractions that attract tourists. In addition, the manager has also provided adequate accommodation for tourists. However, there are limitations in infrastructure development and destination promotion. Therefore, a more optimal development strategy is needed to improve the tourist experience in Curug Leuwi Hejo. In conclusion, this study provides guidance for destination managers, government, and local communities in optimizing the 5A strategy for Curug Leuwi Hejo tourism development. Further research can be carried out with different methods and instruments to obtain more accurate results.

A lesson learned from the success of disaster prone village transformation into a socioeconomic cultural safety net and environmental conservation

The villages in the Slamet mountain area has two exciting sides, as it carries abundant potential but is prone to disasters. Fascinatingly, the local community can transform disaster-prone villages by hammering the development of potential natural tourism potential, bringing benefits for nature conservation and economic resilience. Therefore, this study aims to describe the disaster-prone village’s processes in developing their tourism potential into a source of socioeconomic and cultural resilience, as well as safe tourism. This qualitative research used purposive sampling for selecting the informant, while the data collection methods were carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs). Then, the interactive data analysis methods were adopted in analyzing the data, while data validity was examined through triangulation. The results show that the key to success in developing disaster-prone villages into safe tourism and environmental preservation is determined by community resilience and leadership, the development of pro-disaster villages into tourism potential with a social, economic, cultural, and environmental safety net, the success of village institutions to encourage community change. This study concludes that disaster-prone villages in the mountainous region of Slamet can turn threats into potential benefits for rural communities. Therefore, the presence of disaster areas is needed not only for concepts but as an example of implementations that benefit local communities.

Analisis Potensi Sumber Daya Manusia Dalam Bisnis Akomodasi Pondok Wisata Di Desa Wisata Besani

This research analyzes the potential of human resources in the accommodation business of pondok wisata or homestays in Besani Tourism Village, Blado District, Batang Regency, Central Java. Cottage tourism is a form of accommodation that offers more intimate lodging close to local communities, providing a different and satisfying experience for travelers seeking authenticity and togetherness in their journeys. The village stands out due to its concept of Javanese-Chinese cultural acculturation and attractive natural tourism potential. Through qualitative approaches and case studies, involving stakeholders as respondents, and utilizing primary data from interviews and observations, as well as secondary data from scientific literature and official documents. The SOAR approach is used to identify internal strengths, external opportunities, aspirations, and desired outcomes in accommodation business development. The analysis highlights the traditional skills of residents, significant tourism demand, and support from local government and companies. Human resource development strategies are recommended, including business management skills training, group-based cottage tourism development, service standard enhancement, income diversification, and local cultural promotion. This study provides insights into the potential of human resources to enhance competitiveness and sustainability in the tourism sector in Besani Tourism Village.

Study of responsive tourism destination areas to reduce disaster risk: Canden Village, Bantul

Canden Village currently has a vision of a Wellness Tourism Destination. Kiringan Hamlet, located in Kalurahan Canden, was designated a Tourism Village of Jamu Gendong (Herbal Medicine) in 2016. Canden has several natural, cultural, artistic, and culinary tourism potentials spread across Canden Hamlet, Ngibikan Hamlet, Suren Kulon Hamlet, Suren Wetan, and Banyudono. Several problems related to access, namely, the primary entrance to Kalurahan Canden is not feasible, the physical condition of the road could be more suitable for motorized vehicles, and there needs to be an area marker as a wayfinding facility. In addition to accessibility conditions, disaster response in the area is critical. Canden’s location around the Opak Fault and the Opak River causes this area to have several potential natural disasters. This study of disaster response needs to be conducted to enhance a tourism village as a tourist destination that is safe, comfortable, and sustainable. The object of this study is Canden Village in Bantul, which has several disaster risks. The research aims to determine the level of disaster response in Canden as a Tourism Village. The research method is a qualitative research method using grounded theory and space syntax connectivity-visibility analysis. The concept of disaster response consists of evacuation routes, protective areas, safe zones, open spaces, and public facilities. The results of the study show that the aspect of disaster response in the region is essential to support regional security factors. This research can be a study for disaster response tourist spots and support the sustainability of an area as a tourist destination.

Pro-Environmental Tourism: Lessons Learned from Adventure, Wellness and Eco-tourism in Padusan Village, Mojokerto, East Java

In the aftermath of Covid-19, nature tourism has gained significant traction in Indonesia. Padusan Village in Mojokerto Regency, East Java, stands out as a prime example. Nestled at the foot of Mount Welirang and bordering a lush forest, the village offers a unique blend of adventure, wellness, and ecotourism experiences. This research aims to: 1) Catalog the diverse adventure, wellness, and eco-tourism activities available in Padusan village, and 2) Highlight tourism practices that can foster pro-environmental behaviour industry-wide. A qualitative case study methodology was adopted. Data was gathered through on-site observations and in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis was the primary tool for data interpretation, with triangulation ensuring data accuracy. Preliminary findings underscore the village’s effective use of its natural hot springs and sustainable forest resources. More importantly, the nature-centric tourism in Padusan Village not only offers rejuvenation but also nudges tourists towards environmentally responsible behaviours. This study underscores the potential of nature tourism in shaping sustainable practices in the broader tourism industry.

Coupling coordination spatial pattern between natural attractions and tourism potential with study travel implications: China case

Jiangxi has superior natural environmental conditions, but tourism development is insufficient. This study analysed the distribution characteristics of natural tourism resources in Jiangxi Province, evaluated the potential of ecotourism, spatialized the coupling and coordination relationship between tourism resources and tourism potential and proposed the direction of tourism development and study travel planning. Results: (1) Natural tourist attractions in Jiangxi are relatively dense in the north and northeast, while relatively sparse in the south. (2) Natural tourism potential is generally high in the surrounding and low in the middle and high in the south and low in the north, and are distributed in a strip like manner. (3) Jiangxi is basically in a coordinated state, with the overall coupling index is relatively high, while the spatial differences in coordination index are significant, indicating that natural tourism resources and natural tourism potential have a strong mutual influence but their distribution characteristics do not match. (4) Future optimized development zone of natural tourism will be in the north and northeast, and the expanded development zone will be in the northwest and southeast. Both thematic and comprehensive study travel routes can be launched in regions with relatively concentrated natural tourist attractions. This article provides a research perspective on the interaction between tourism resource endowment and development practices, and the results can provide reference for relevant fields, natural tourism development, and study travel practices.

Designing Kapanewon Nanggulan Branding through Storytelling

Abstract. Kapanewon Nanggulan is the sub-district capital in the Kulon Progo area of ​​the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), which has a lot of tourism potential, both natural tourism and culinary tourism, which, of course, offers excellent comfort for all tourists or visitors from outside the area. The problems found in Nanggulan are tourism actors in the Nanggulan area that have not been well coordinated. Nanggulan does not yet have a brand identity that can cover all tourism brands in the region. Natural tourism potential has not been positioned consistently. Therefore, the community service team recommends the solution for making the umbrella brand Nanggulan a regional identity that accommodates all tourism brands in Nanggulan and Making a Graphic Standard Manual as a reference book for applying the umbrella brand to all promotional media. The result of this dedication is the identity of the Kapanewon Nanggulan destination, which is designed as a differentiator from the image of rice fields on the hillsides of Menoreh. Novelty in this study is visualized through the key visual of terraced rice fields, which are made in a topographical style, a la digital map, so that it is hoped that potential tourists will be familiar with them.

Identifikasi Potensi Produk Pariwisata Sebagai Dasar Perencanaan Paket Wisata di Desa Cacaban Kidul Kabupaten Purworejo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah

Desa Cacaban Kidul which is located in the vicinity of the Borobudur Temple development area has potential in the tourism sector in three forms, including the form of natural tourism potential, cultural tourism, craft/creative tourism, as well as non-tourism potential such as agricultural and livestock product potential. This research hopes to be able to provide specific benefits for the welfare of the community through an effort to develop communitybased tourism through community empowerment in Desa Cacaban Kidul. In conducting the research, the potential of the tourism products and the components of tourism products in terms of attractions, amenities and accessibility in Desa Cacaban Kidul are identified and analyzed. The result of the study can serve as an opportunity for a creation of tour package as it serves some recommendation for Desa Cacaban Kidul so that they can be managed properly and optimally as an effort to develop sustainable tourism through a series of tourism activities packaged in a tour package.

Tourism Communication of Tourism Destinations in the Wetlands of Aranio District Banjar Regency

Aranio sub-district has natural tourism potential in the form of mountains, reservoirs, and protected forests. Based on data from preliminary interviews, it is known that one of the natural attractions, namely Pine Island, which is located in Tiwingan Baru, has not been optimally managed because the management has changed. In addition, currently tourist visits to Bukit Batas tours have also dropped dramatically. This research aims to find out the implementation of tourism communication of tourist destinations in the wetlands of Aranio District, Banjar Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis technique uses Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP), namely daily notes, transcripts, coding, categories, themes, and memos. The results of the study show that tourism communication in Pulau Pinus and Bukit Batu fulfills the components of tourists, marketers, communication, accessibility, human resources and institutions, capital owners and destinations. The media used for promotion through social media instagram, facebook, website and word of mouth marketing. Bukit Batas Tourism is currently unkempt, seen with road access full of weeds.

Sustainable Strategy in the Development of Mangrove Ecotourism in Pasar Rawa Village, Langkat Regency

Pasar Rawa Village has natural tourism potential that has not been managed optimally, one of which is mangrove ecotourism. Mangrove ecotourism is one of the efforts to conserve forest resources whose management positively impacts the environment and social economy of the community. This research aims to determine the right strategy for developing mangrove ecotourism in Pasar Rawa Village so that its management is sustainable. The research began by determining the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of ecotourism development through direct observation, interviews, distribution of questionnaires and literature studies, then the development strategy was analyzed using SWOT analysis. The research results show that Pasar Rawa Village Mangrove Ecotourism is in quadrant I which supports aggressive growth policies and eleven ecotourism development plans refer to the regulations of the minister of tourism and the creative economy.

Stakeholder Interaction: A Qualitative Approach to Beach Tourism Management

This study aims to describe the natural tourism potential of three beaches in the Kanigoro Area.Each beach is managed individually by its respective beach pokdarwis, and its management has nointegration system. The Kanigoro community already has a relatively high level of tourism awareness, and there is a community of photographers who support tourism activities. However, this physical and non-physical potential must be managed effectively and efficiently to improve the welfare of the local Kanigoro community. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to describe the situation orproblems in the Kanigoro Beach Area. This study allows researchers to understand the context in detail,analyze the variables involved, and explore the perceptions and views of relevant stakeholders.Diversification of tourism products plays a vital role in extending the level of tourist visits by encouragingthem to visit more than one beach to increase the tourism sector's economic benefits by increasing theduration of stay and tourist spending.
