A Survey Study of Kindergarten Teachers' Use of ChatGPT to Support Instructional Design

With the rapid development of information technology, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is gradually applied to a wide range of fields, especially the powerful ability of ChatGPT to bring infinite possibilities for education, but teachers’ attitudes toward using it are not yet clear. The study investigates the use of ChatGPT by kindergarten teachers to support instructional design using questionnaires and interviews to explore the attitudes and perceptions of kindergarten teachers toward its use. The results indicate that kindergarten teachers hold positive acceptance, perceived self-efficacy, and learning attitudes toward using ChatGPT for instructional design. Meanwhile, the study argues that more research is needed in the future to focus on how kindergarten teachers can aptly use ChatGPT to improve the quality of instruction in realistic instruction environments。

Effects of Collaborative Assessment on Undergraduate Students’ Writing Performance

This study investigates the impact of collaborative assessment on undergraduate students’ writing performance in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses in Indonesia. Collaborative assessment, which encompasses self-assessment, peer assessment, and teacher assessment, enhances writing proficiency and critical thinking skills. This study exclusively incorporates the field dependence-independence (FDI) cognitive styles to explore how these learning styles interact with collaborative assessment strategies. The research used a quantitative method to involve 120 students from Universitas Pancasakti Tegal, divided into field-independent and field-dependent groups. Over 14 weeks, students participated in collaborative assessment activities within their writing courses. Pre- and post-tests, along with survey questionnaires, measured improvements in writing performance and student attitudes. Results indicated significant improvements in writing skills for both cognitive style groups, with field-independent students showing slightly higher gains. The study concludes that collaborative assessment effectively enhances writing performance and fosters positive learning attitudes, regardless of cognitive style, and recommends integrating this approach into EFL writing instruction. The findings imply that collaborative assessment is a valuable tool for accommodating diverse learning styles in EFL education.

대학생의 대학 생활 만족도와 적응도가 핵심역량에 미치는 영향

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find out how satisfaction and adaptability to university life affect the core competencies of a university. Methods To achieve this, data from 831 respondents who answered both satisfaction and adaptation surveys were collected at S University between May and August 2023. These data were compiled, merged, and converted into panel data. Using SPSS 25 and STATA 16.0, correlation analysis, validity and reliability tests, univariate analysis, multivariate tests, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results Hierarchical multiple regression analysis was applied. As a result of the study, the factors affecting empathy were derived as ‘learning support,’ ‘liberal arts,’ and ‘extra-curricular’ among the satisfaction variables of college life. ‘Student guidance’ was identified as the main factor for Creative Convergence, and ‘student guidance’ and ‘culture’ were identified as the main factors for glocal communication. As a result of examining the impact of adaptation to college life on core competencies, among the variables, ‘confidence in major career path,’ ‘emotional stability,’ ‘positive learning attitude,’ ‘academic confidence,’ ‘trust in professors’, and ‘satisfaction with professor relationship’ This was found to be statistically significant. Among these, ‘positive learning attitude’ was the highest, followed by ‘academic confidence’ as the variable that significantly impacted university core competencies. Conclusions After conversion, These research results provided implications on the role of universities in responding to a rapidly changing future society and what is needed for future planning.

Improving Vocational and Technical Education: Comparing Flipped and Traditional Classrooms’ Impact on Learning Performance in Management Courses

This essay examines the effectiveness of flipped classroom approaches in improving learning outcomes among first-year management students at Chinese vocational colleges. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study involved fifty classes with a total of 1,000 students, divided into experimental and control groups. The study aimed to evaluate how the flipped classroom model influences academic achievement, analytical, creative, and practical intelligence, as well as learning attitudes. It also investigated whether cognitive styles (visual vs. verbal orientation) moderated the relationship between teaching methods and learning outcomes. Results show that the flipped classroom significantly enhances cognitive learning achievements, analytical, creative, and practical intelligence, and fosters a more positive learning attitude compared to traditional methods. Notably, cognitive styles had a minimal impact on learning outcomes, suggesting that the benefits of flipped classrooms apply broadly across different learning preferences. This research enhances the understanding of effective pedagogical strategies in vocational education and underscores the flipped classroom’s potential to improve student learning experiences.

KONSEP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DENGAN PENDEKATAN POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE

Learning Arabic is often challenging, especially for students without prior knowledge. This article employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to investigate the effectiveness of Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) in Arabic language learning. PMA, as a humanistic approach, aims to motivate students, enhance their enthusiasm for learning, and boost their confidence in facing learning challenges. Additionally, PMA helps reduce stress and anxiety, creates a positive classroom environment, and strengthens social relationships among students. The study's findings indicate that PMA supports perseverance and a never-give-up attitude, which overall improves students' language skills and long-term learning experiences. In conclusion, the PMA approach has great potential in facilitating a more effective and enjoyable Arabic language learning process.

Research on digital entertainment media in English writing e-learning system based on interactive game learning method

As a new teaching tool, digital entertainment media has the potential to improve students’ learning effect and interest. This study aims to explore the application of digital entertainment media based on interactive game learning methods in English writing e-learning system, so as to improve students’ English writing ability and learning enthusiasm. By designing a digital entertainment media e-learning system based on interactive game learning method, this paper studies and designs an intuitive and easy to use interface, so that students can easily browse and participate in interactive game learning activities. Design various types of game tasks and challenges based on interactive game learning methods. Combined with the basic content and requirements of English writing teaching, a variety of interactive learning tools and activities are provided to stimulate students’ learning interest and writing ability. After the implementation of the digital entertainment media e-learning system, students demonstrated a more positive learning attitude and a higher level of English writing by participating in various activities and training provided by the interactive game learning method. They have made significant improvements in writing expression, grammar use and creative thinking.

Pedagogical Effects of CLIL in Asia’s Higher Education: An Empirical Reassessment

This research was a quasi-experiment that examined the effects of CLIL in an educational context in Taiwan’s higher education. Two groups of first-year undergraduate students were involved. One (65 students) was taught with CLIL; the other (59), the conventional approach. Their knowledge of the content and learning attitudes (self-efficacy and motivation) were quantitatively compared through achievement tests and a questionnaire. A qualitative semi-structured survey asked both groups for their perspectives on and perceptions of the treatments. The quantitative results show that both approaches were significantly effective for improving students’ knowledge of the content of the target subject (literary text), but the EG outperformed the CG. Likewise, both groups had positive learning attitudes to their treatments, but the EG also outweighed the CG. Furthermore, the qualitative accounts generated diverse results, reflecting the underlying difference between the approaches but showing that both approaches were welcomed. However, the conventional method was more favored than CLIL, mostly because of the participants’ learning preferences or because of the learning patterns which they had formed over years of studying in the specific cultural-education system (i.e., that of Taiwan) chosen for the study.

Designing an Instructional Model to improve Reading Abilities of Technical Documents and Learning Attitudes for Vocational Students in Shenzhen Institute of Technology

The purpose of this study is to develop an instructional model to improve the reading abilities of technical documents, and to enhance students’ positive learning attitudes for TVE college students in China. This study developed a teaching model based on the Information Processing Approach, Vygotsky's Scaffolding, and Motivation. This teaching mode has the characteristics and technical attributes of TVE, which can (a) improve the reading ability of TVE college students on technical documentation, and (b) enhance the students' positive learning attitude (enthusiasm). This teaching model includes (1) Principles of the model, (2) Objectives, (3) Syntax, (4) Social system, (5) Principles of reaction, and (6) Support system. Through the application of two classes at Shenzhen Institute Technology in China, it can be seen that three-information input and output activities can be formed in both applications, and there is a progressive relationship between the three activities, and the three activities can fully stimulate students' learning enthusiasm.

Positive Factors of Student Learning Orientation in Improving Student Understanding and Learning Outcomes

The low results of learning mathematics from year to year give rise to students' perception that mathematics is a difficult subject. This needs to be researched to analyze the relationship between mathematics learning attitudes, anxiety, and habits, and evaluate additional mathematics learning outcomes. Quantitative research method with a survey approach. The research subjects were 253 people using random sampling. The data collection technique uses an instrument adapted from Learning Orientation which includes attitudes, attention, and study habits totaling 52 items. The analysis technique uses correlation and regression with SPSS version 26.0 software. The research results show that attitudes, habits, and anxiety are positively and significantly related to learning. Learning anxiety has a moderate relationship, while attitudes and study habits have a weak relationship with increasing learning achievement. Another finding is that learning anxiety is the main predictor of additional material, compared to attitudes and study habits. In conclusion, learning orientation is one of the factors that plays a very important role in determining the level of student learning achievement. This contribution provides information that students who have a positive attitude in learning show good study habits, therefore the teacher's role is needed to build a positive attitude.

Pronunciation learning attitudes: The case of EFL undergraduate students in Indonesia

A pronunciation-learning attitude is essential to help students improve their pronunciation proficiency. It is problematic when students do not care about learning proper pronunciation in the process of teaching and learning. Several studies have investigated EFL students’ perceptions toward attitudes of pronunciation learning. However, little research focused on the role of gender on students’ attitudes in this context. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate students’ attitudes toward English pronunciation learning related to gender. An explanatory sequential mixed-method approach, integrating questionnaires of Gardner 1985’s Attitude Motivation of Test Battery (AMTB) and Elliot 1995’s Pronunciation Attitude Inventory (PAI) and interviews, was employed in this study. Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were used to analyse quantitative data gathered from 151 students. For qualitative data, the semi-structured interview transcripts of eighteen participants were analysed using thematic analysis. The questionnaires reveal that the students had positive pronunciation learning attitudes, and no significant differences were found between females and males. Moreover, based on the results of the interviews, the students believed that proper pronunciation learning is important to make the message understood. Reflecting on the study results, it is hoped that English lecturers select more practical pronunciation teaching media that can make students more involved in the teaching and learning process and contribute to English pedagogy about the importance of improving learners’ positive attitude in pronunciation learning.

The Study on the Problems of Digitally Disadvantaged Groups in Using Online Medical Registration Public Numbers--Take Changsha Xiangya Hospital as an Example

With the rapid progress of information technology, smart healthcare has been gradually integrated into people's daily lives. People pay more and more attention to their personal health care, and they are willing to invest more time and energy in health care, and start to transition from the original "medical treatment only when there is a disease" to the current "prevention of disease, intervention of disease, and focus on rehabilitation". At the same time, under the combination model of "Internet technology + hospital", patients can make an appointment with a doctor through the online form, which makes it easier and easier to seek medical advice. Changsha Xiangya Hospital, a famous modern medical hospital in Hunan Province, China, provides convenient services with its online medical registration public number, but also faces the challenge of the digitally disadvantaged group's difficulties in using it. The purpose of this paper is to explore in depth the problems encountered by this group in using the online medical registration public number and to propose corresponding optimization suggestions to promote the fairness and universality of medical services. This thesis finds that although the digitally disadvantaged groups is not able to use online medical registration flexibly, they have been presenting a positive learning attitude and are happy to learn about the process of using the online medical registration public number.

Research on Student Learning Attitude Evaluation Model Based on TOPSIS Comprehensive Evaluation Algorithm

In order to ensure the quality of teaching in universities, this article uses the TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation algorithm to help analyze the learning attitude of school students, as well as the class atmosphere and academic atmosphere of the college. At the same time, a list of five classes with the best academic atmosphere, three colleges, and sixty students with positive and negative learning attitudes were selected. Firstly, this article conducts a quantitative analysis of the scores and participation in the tests of 9048 students. The article identifies three factors that reflect students' learning attitudes: average test score, standard deviation, and participation rate in the tests. Then, based on student test data, an evaluation model reflecting the academic atmosphere, class atmosphere, and student enthusiasm of the college was established based on student performance information. The model results were ranked to obtain the ranking of model scores for each college, class, and student. By studying student data and quantifying the characteristics that reflect their learning attitudes, three indicators that can effectively reflect student attitudes and enthusiasm were established by analyzing the attached data. When assigning weights to factors, it is necessary to consider the importance of the factor in describing student attitudes, and make judgments and trade-offs based on specific situations. In response to this situation, although the standard deviation can reflect the stability of students' grades, it is greatly limited by the number of tests, while test completion and average score can better reflect students' learning attitude and performance. Therefore, subjective weighting method can be considered to assign weights to these three indicators, which are average score, standard deviation, and test participation rate, respectively; 0.3, 0.2, 0.5. By using the TOPSIS method and combining three indicators, establish an evaluation model for the academic atmosphere of the college, a class atmosphere evaluation model, and a student motivation evaluation model. Finally, evaluate the academic atmosphere of each college, class atmosphere, and the learning enthusiasm of each student. Based on the evaluation results of the model, this article selected a list of five classes with the best academic atmosphere, three colleges, and sixty students with positive and negative learning attitudes.

Classroom Action Research: Implementasi Model Picture and Picture in Social Learning in Elementary Schools

One of the factors that influences students' learning motivation is the use of appropriate learning media by teachers because media is a tool to convey the message of the material being taught. This research aims to analyze the effects of using multimedia in the learning process in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative methods with a classroom action research approach. Data sources were taken using questionnaires and oral tests from twenty-one students from one of the elementary schools in Indonesia. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18 software with descriptive analysis (percent). Overall statistical analysis shows that the use of the model Picture and Picture in social learning has shown encouraging results. This fact can be seen from the increase in students' pre-test and post-test scores which were carried out through two learning cycles. Even students show positive learning attitudes such as being happy, enthusiastic, and always active in learning. Therefore, pictures and pictures are one of the alternatives that teachers can use as a solution for social learning which has been considered boring and students get bored quickly.

상호동료 교수법이 모의 TOEIC 점수향상에 미치는 영향

Objectives This study investigates the effect of reciprocal peer tutoring in enhancing students’ mock TOEIC scores, focusing on university students majoring in Aviation Services enrolled in a TOEIC course.
 Methods The participants were divided into an experimental group, utilizing reciprocal peer tutoring, and a control group, following traditional instructional methods. Using the SPSS 29.0 statistical program, the study examined the differences in the TOEIC score improvement between the groups. Additionally, the reflection evaluations from students engaged in reciprocal peer teaching were analyzed for further insights.
 Results The findings revealed a significant enhancement in the overall TOEIC scores of the experimental group using reciprocal peer tutoring, surpassing the control group by a noteworthy 56.13 points, showing a statistically significant difference. Particularly, the reciprocal peer teaching method demonstrated a pronounced effect in the RC (Reading Comprehension) section. In contrast, no statistically significant difference was observed in the LC (Listening Comprehension) section between the two groups. Further analysis of reflection evaluations uncovered the development of a positive attitude in TOEIC learning, encompassing elements such as confidence, sat-isfaction, class enjoyment, learning motivation, and class concentration.
 Conclusions In conclusion, this study underscores the potential of reciprocal peer tutoring to the improvement of TOEIC scores positively. The cultivation of a constructive learning environment through enhanced communication and collaboration, facilitated by mutual peer teaching methods, holds promise for promoting successful TOEIC outcomes.

Strenghthening Numeracy Literacy and Critical Thinking Mathematics Students at SMK Ma’arif NU Martapura

Students' lack of ability to answer questions that do not match the examples is the background for carrying out community service activities in addition to students' lack of motivation in learning. Students' fixation on examples causes students to have difficulty when given questions that are slightly different. There are several causes of students' difficulties in answering questions based on the results of analysis with the teacher, namely students' critical thinking abilities and students' numeracy literacy. These two abilities are the basis for students to solve problems using the information provided from the questions and concepts they have studied. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing stimulus to students to strengthen students' critical thinking and numeracy literacy skills. The stimulus is provided in the form of simple and non-routine questions using Pisa questions and questions related to third-dimensional material in the form of essays. Apart from that, it is also interspersed with math games to motivate students to learn.This activity was carried out at SMK Ma'arif NU Martapura.The results of the service show that there are five indicators of critical thinking skills and three indicators of numeracy literacy that are met. Apart from that, students also begin to have the courage to speak and show a positive attitude in learning. This can be a recommendation for teachers to provide more stimulus for non-routine questions so that students' critical thinking skills and numeracy literacy are further honed.

Outdoor teaching aims to enhance the positive learning attitude of 6th-grade students in biology at Tuyen Quang School for excellence

The article is based on theories and practices of positive teaching, outdoor teaching, and the practical need for innovative teaching methods at Tuyen Quang School for Excellence (TSE). It proposes several measures to enhance the positive learning attitude of 6th-grade biology students at TSE. These measures include identifying lessons suitable for outdoor activities and organizing such activities as part of the teaching process. Research results confirm the effectiveness of employing innovative outdoor teaching methods with highly useful, crucial, and curriculum-aligned content in biology. Students directly engage with the subject matter and demonstrate improved retention compared to indirect learning through traditional teaching methods. The students, being in close proximity to nature, develop an understanding of environmental protection. Simultaneously, these methods cultivate observation skills and specific cognitive abilities.

Analysis of EFL Learners’ Attitudes towards Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Approach and Its Impact to their Academic Performance

This study explores the attitudes of first-year EFL learners at the Faculty of Education, Nakhon Phanom University towards the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach and analyzes the relationship between the attitudes and their academic performance. The research revealed that a majority of the respondents value the interactive opportunities provided by CLT, suggesting that such interaction enhances their learning experience. However, a weak positive correlation (Pearson coefficient of 0.234, p-value of 0.488) between students’ attitudes and academic performance indicates that while positive attitudes may contribute to improved outcomes, the association is not statistically significant. This finding highlights the importance of other influencing factors and suggests a room for further research needed to fully understand the complex relationship between attitudes and academic performances. The study emphasizes the potential of CLT to foster positive learning attitudes through interactive, culturally relevant, and technologically integrated teaching strategies, which may ultimately enhance both language proficiency and academic performance.

Research on the countermeasures of students' weariness in higher vocational colleges

This study aims to explore the main reasons why students in higher vocational colleges are tired of studying and the countermeasures to solve this problem. Through in-depth analysis, we found that factors such as students themselves, school education, family education and social environment are the main reasons why students in higher vocational colleges are tired of studying. To deal with this challenge, this study proposes the following countermeasures: first, improve students' subjective initiative and internal drive, and stimulate their interest and motivation in learning; second, create a good school atmosphere, including improving teaching quality, providing psychological support and Establish an academic exchange platform; strengthen family education and cultivate students' positive learning attitudes and values; finally, optimize the social environment and focus on solving students' employment problems to reduce their life pressure. The comprehensive implementation of these countermeasures is expected to help students in higher vocational colleges become more actively involved in learning and improve their academic achievements and comprehensive literacy.

THE USE OF VIRTUAL REALITY AND ITS IMPACTION REGARDING LEARNING ATTITUDE AMONG YOUNG ADULTS IN BANGI, SELANGOR, MALAYSIA

Virtual Reality (VR) technology is a computer-based simulation system designed to create novel learning experiences within a virtual realm. VR establishes a simulated environment that has significant impact one's attitude toward learning. This new environment enables interaction with three-dimensional, dynamic views, thereby influencing physical learning behaviour. Virtual reality is a crucial component of the innovation process, facilitating real-time interaction within simulations and representing cutting-edge technology for enhanced comprehension of products. In contrast, traditional learning methods tend to be monotonous, whereas current educational approaches prioritise interactivity, saving time, fostering positive learning attitudes among young individuals, and enabling learning at any location and time. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the acceptance and utilisation of virtual reality among young adults and its effect on learning attitudes. One of the notable advancements in VR technology is its integration into educational institutions, with universities and schools emphasising alternative learning methods. This observation highlights the significance of embracing VR in a world increasingly focused on digitalisation. The study employs a quantitative methodology, utilising face-to-face surveys involving questionnaire distribution to a sample of 200 young adults within the Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia. The research findings reveal that Virtual Reality Hedonic Motivation plays a significant role in shaping the Behavioural Intention to use virtual learning (as indicated by a Pearson correlation of r=.726 and Regression R2 = .527). This result indicates that, VR is accepted as an alternative learning method, especially within the context of Malaysia, where online digitalisation is gaining prominence within the education sector. This discussion on existing literature provide valuable insights for future researchers seeking to enhance the learning attitudes of young adults through the integration of VR technology.

The Research on the Influence of Bilibili Videos upon the Receptions Towards Universities among Chinese High School Students

Bilibili is an international company which was set up in 2008. This company started out as a dedicated anime website. This paper will investigate the impact of Bilibili on high school students acceptance of universities. According to the papers we have collected, there have been many existing studies and papers on Bilibili, however, there are still some exist research gaps. All those papers above dont mention the students. With the increasing number of Bilibili School graduates, it shows a gratifying phenomenon to the society. Students are now overcoming many difficulties, with a positive learning attitude, to achieve the goal of the new generation of continuous progress. However, it also reveals that the gears of schooling are still stumbling. The point of going to college when so many college courses are available online. There are no papers on the effect of Bilibili on senior high school students. So this paper is very necessary in China. This was research was carried out online. There are then questions in the research. Each question is given five different degrees of choice.
