Pengaruh Kemampuan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Lampeuneurut Aceh Besar

The quality of education in an area is influenced by various factors, including teacher performance. Teachers must work professionally to develop outstanding students. Teacher performance is believed to be related to the principal's leadership abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of school principal management skills on the performance of elementary school teachers in the Lampenurut Aceh Besar cluster. This research is a type of correlational research. The research was conducted in elementary schools in Aceh Besar district. The populations of this study were all teachers who taught in elementary schools in the Lampenurut Aceh Besar cluster. The sample was then taken through a proportional random sample of 156 teachers. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed to respondents. The questionnaire contains the principal's management skills and teacher performance. Research variables were measured using a Likert scale. The data obtained was then tested using the Pearson product-moment correlation test using the SPSS 26 program. The research results showed that the average management ability of school principals was moderate. This can be seen in the competence of school principals in the planning, implementation, organizing/management, and supervision processes. Likewise, the average teacher performance is also in the middle category. Teacher performance is evaluated using three indicators, namely planning, implementation, and learning assessment. The results of statistical tests show that the principal's leadership influences the performance of elementary school teachers in Lampenurut District. The better the principal's management skills, the better the teacher's performance, and vice versa.

Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Instruksional Kepala Sekolah, Lingkungan Kerja dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru SMA Negeri

This research analyzes the direct and indirect influence of the principal's instructional leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMAN Kota Banjarbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive correlational, using a path analysis model to analyze the influence between variables. The research population was 163 teachers from 4 high schools in the Banjarbaru area, and 116 respondents were taken as research samples using the Slovin formula with the Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Data collection uses questionnaire instruments, and data analysis uses descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, inferential tests, and path analysis. The results of the study of the regression coefficient values ​​of the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance were 0.327, the work environment variable on teacher performance was 0.334, the job satisfaction variable on teacher performance was 0.331, the principal's instructional leadership variable on the work environment was 0.876, the principal's instructional leadership variable on job satisfaction of 0.858, the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance through the work environment is 0.293 and the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance through job satisfaction is 0.284. In conclusion, there is a direct or partial influence of the principal's instructional leadership variables, work environment, and job satisfaction on the performance of high school teachers, and there is an indirect influence of the principal's instructional leadership on the performance of teachers in high school through intermediary media, either work environment or job satisfaction. Principal communication is the process of conveying information to teachers and forwarded to students. The purpose of this study was to determine the principal's communication, including: Teacher professionalism; Teacher discipline; and Teacher responsibility. Qualitative approach with descriptive method. In terms of data collection is through literature study, literature study is the initial step in the data collection method. Literature study is a data collection method that is directed at finding data and information through documents, both written documents, photographs, images, and electronic documents that can support the writing process. The subjects of the study were teachers, principals, and school committees at Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Sunggal. The results of the study found: Principal communication in improving teacher professionalism is conveying messages to teachers both verbally and in writing; Principal communication in improving teacher discipline is providing exemplary examples by attending school on time; Principal communication in improving teacher responsibility is interpersonal communication, communication in solving problems in learning by coordinating and finding solutions with the school committee and supervisor, and the relevant Education Office. It is expected that the committee and the principal can provide encouragement and guidance in teacher performance regarding professionalism, discipline and teacher responsibility effectively and efficiently so that it can improve teacher performance in schools.

Pengaruh Motivasi Dan Disiplin Terhadap Kinerja Guru

This research aims to analyze the influence of motivation and discipline on teacher performance in secondary schools. Motivation and discipline are two important factors that can influence teacher work effectiveness and productivity. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data is collected through questionnaires filled out by a number of teachers. The results of data analysis show that both motivation and discipline have a significant influence on teacher performance. High motivation and strict discipline contribute positively to increased performance. These findings show the importance of effective management of motivation and discipline to improve the quality of education in schools.

Examining the Impact of Compensation and Competency on Elementary School Teacher Performance

Teacher competence in schools is still not optimal because the average teacher competence is below 50%, especially in pedagogical, personal, and social competence. The compensation given to teachers who teach is still not optimal; the average amount offered does not meet the principles of justice. The average basic salary is 42.4%, and allowances are 57.6%, which consists of primary, functional, teaching, and transport allowances. This research analyzes the relationship between competence, compensation, and teacher performance in elementary schools. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a non-experimental correlational design. There were 40 respondents (non-permanent teachers) in the research using a non-probability sampling method. The data collection technique uses a survey method with closed questionnaire tools. Data analysis was carried out using validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that the regression coefficient analysis of the competency variable (0.018) and compensation variable (0.025) significantly affects performance. Research results: The better the teacher's competence, the more the teacher's performance will increase. The implication is that the competency of elementary school teachers needs to continue to be improved in various ways, one of which is through continuous teacher professional development programs, both independently and with managerial encouragement from school principals.

This study aims to determine the magnitude of contributions (1) academic supervision, school culture, teacher competence on the performance of teachers at the Saptosari Gunungkidul Vocational School (2) the school principal's academic supervision of teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul Vocational School (3) school culture on teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul District Vocational High School (4) teacher competency on teacher performance in Saptosari Gunungkidul State Vocational School. This research is a quantitative study, and is a research population where the population of the study is all teachers of the Saptosari Vocational High School which number 73 teachers. This study uses an ex-post facto approach, namely by testing what has happened to the research subjects. Data was collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. Validate the contents of the expert judgment to examine the questionnaire instruments on material, language and measurement aspects. The construct validity of the instrument was tested using the product moment correlation technique from Carl Pearson. The reliability of the research instruments was tested by the Cronbach Alpha coefficient test. Data analysis was carried out after test requirements analysis, namely normality, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The results of this study are as follows; 1) Academic supervision of principals, school culture, and teacher competencies on their own and together provide a positive contribution to the improvement of the performance of Saptosari State Vocational School teachers. This means that whenever there is an increase in the three variables, the performance of teachers in Saptosari District Vocational Schools will increase, 2) The results of the analysis show that teacher competencies make the greatest contribution to the work of Saptosari District Vocational School teachers, and academic supervision that provides the least contribution to the performance of state vocational school teachers as fast as Saptosari.

Contribution of Principal Leadership and School Climate to the Performance of Junior High School Teachers in Padang City

Effective educational leadership and a positive school climate are crucial determinants of teacher performance. This research aims to elucidate the contribution of principal leadership and school climate to the performance of state middle school teachers in Padang City. The population for this study comprised all state junior high school teachers in Padang City, totaling 1,058 individuals. A sample of 158 teachers was selected using cluster random sampling techniques. Employing a quantitative correlational approach with an ex-post facto research design, this study analyzed the collected data to determine the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that principal leadership contributes 22.3% to teacher performance, while school climate contributes 68%. Together, principal leadership and school climate account for 62.7% of the variance in teacher performance. The overall teacher performance score was 83.46%, categorized as good. Principal leadership scored 84.16%, also in the good category, and school climate scored 84.66%, deemed conducive. These findings underscore the significant impact of leadership and environmental factors within schools on enhancing teacher performance, suggesting that targeted improvements in these areas could substantially elevate educational outcomes.

ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT AS A CONSTRUCT OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN PANABO CITY DIVISION

The study uncovered the relationship between organizational support and teacher performance in public secondary schools of Panabo City Division. Also, it investigated the association of the involved variables and the domains of organizational support that significantly influenced teacher performance. With the use of probability sampling, 150 secondary teachers in the public schools were selected as the respondents. Utilizing the descriptive-correlational survey method, the data collated were analyzed through the use of Mean, Product-Moment correlation and Regression Analysis. Results revealed that there was an extensive organizational support and an extensive teacher performance. Furthermore, there was a significant relationship between the two variables. Moreover, all domains of organizational support were found to have significantly influenced teacher performance. Based on the findings, it was further suggested that higher officials in the Department of Education may identify means on how to help the school heads in extending organizational support to attain excellent performance among teachers. More so, future researchers may further explore the involved variables considering other factors and research methods. The competence of teachers is a crucial aspect that warrants increased attention in order to ensure the success of the teaching process.This study aims to determine whether teacher competence mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan Regency; To find out that compensation mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan Regency. This research is categorized as a type of quantitative research with survey techniques. The data analysis technique used is parallel multiple mediator models. And the sample used is 131 teachers in private high schools in Kuningan Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: Principal leadership influences teacher performance. This means that the more effective the principal's leadership, the higher the teacher's performance; Teacher competence fully mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in Private High Schools throughout Kuningan; Teacher compensation partially mediates the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance in private high schools throughout Kuningan.

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of school principal leadership, motivation and work discipline on the performance of vocational school teachers in cluster 3 of South Tangerang City. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires and carried out on 154 teachers. Data analysis in this research used SPSS version 21. The sampling technique used was the census method and the data testing techniques used in this research included validity testing with factor analysis, reliability testing with Cronbach's Alpha. Test classical assumptions and multiple linear regression analysis, to test and prove research hypotheses. The results of the analysis show that the principal's leadership has a positive effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive effect on teacher performance and work discipline has a positive effect on teacher performance.

Identifying the Predictors of School Improvement Plan Implementation by School Administrators

This study aimed to identify the level of managerial capabilities, human resource management, and quality assurance practices of school administrators on the implementation of School Improvement Plan (SIP). The respondents of the study were the 489 public school administrators of Northern Mindanao, Philippines. The data were gathered through survey questionnaires and was treated through descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. School administrators exhibit remarkable managerial capabilities, earning high praise for their adept handling of operations, finances, and for fostering a conducive learning environment. Their strong human resource management skills are evident in nurturing collaborative communities, managing staff effectively, and conducting recruitment efficiently. Quality assurance practices are notably well-developed, indicating the school's ability to deliver top-notch education and support. Implementation of the SIP receives glowing reviews, showcasing the administrators' proficiency in enhancing learning environments, community engagement, resource allocation, curriculum, and staff management. Thus, the data highlights the school administrators outstanding performance and excellence across multiple crucial areas. The correlation analysis revealed significant relationships among managerial capabilities, human resource management, quality assurance practices, to the SIP implementation. Particularly, strong correlations were observed, indicating that schools excelling in one management area tend to perform well in others. Regression analysis highlighted five significant predictors of SIP implementation by administrators: school operation management, teacher and staff performance, leadership, processes, and partnerships/resources. These findings emphasize the significant role of effective management practices, especially in areas like staff performance, quality assurance, and resource allocation, in driving SIP implementation.

The sample in this study was 232 teacher respondents Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School through an independent survey. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and is analyzed using SEM analysis, the analytical tool for this research is Smart PLS version 3.0. These analytical tools are used to analyzeouter model, inner model and hypothesis testing with usep-value. The research results show the direct influence of personality traits influential significantly against performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers. Then competence influential significantly against to performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers. Connection organizational citizenship behaviour influential significantly against to performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers. The results of this research indicate that there is an influence of the moderating variable, namely organizational culture, on relationships competence dan organizational citizenship behaviour against against performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers. But organizational culture cannot be a moderating variable connection personality traits against against performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers. This research shows that practice personality traits, competence, organizational citizenship behaviour and organizational culture plays an important role in encouraging the performance of Darulgoh Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School teachers.

The Effect of Principal Leadership and Work Motivation on Elementary School Teacher Performance

This study is driven by the necessity to comprehend how the leadership exhibited by the principal and the motivation to work may influence the performance of instructors in elementary schools. This study's primary goal was to ascertain the interrelationships between principal leadership, motivation to work, and teachers' performance in elementary schools. This research is quantitative and employs the correlation technique. This study focused on elementary school teachers located in cluster X within the city of Prabumuih. Ninety-eight individuals participated in the study. The collection of data was facilitated through the use of questionnaires and documentation, whereas the processing of data involved the application of t-tests and F-tests. According to the findings of this study, a positive relationship exists between the principal's leadership and teachers' performance in elementary schools located in cluster X, Prabumuih City. Additionally, it was found that motivation to work also positively impacted the performance of teachers in these elementary schools. As a result of this study, effective leadership demonstrated by principals and maintaining motivation to work play a significant role in enhancing teachers' performance in elementary schools. The constructive conclusions drawn from the investigation into the connection between leadership and teacher performance and the favorable impact of work motivation emphasize the potential benefits of bolstering both aspects to develop a teaching staff with enhanced productivity.

The Influence of the Principal’s Managerial Leadership and Work Discipline on SMA Teacher’s Performance

Education is the basic capital for improving the quality of good human resources and achieving success in the national development process in all fields. Education aims to provide various proactive and creative efforts by all components of the nation so that the young generation can develop optimally. School principals play an important role in efforts to mobilize teachers to have work performance, mature coordination, and leadership that is in harmony with the work environment. The aim of the research is to analyze the influence of managerial leadership, the work discipline of school principals, and the influence of both together on teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Banyuasin I, SMAN 2 Banyuasin I, and SMA YP Mantra Mariana Banyuasin I Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis. The sampling methodology uses probability sampling. Research shows that the performance of teachers in high schools in Banyuasin I Regency is quite good, but there is a significant gap between the number of teachers and the number of students. The research results show that teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Banyuasin I is still low, with a high percentage of teachers in 2017/2018 and a low percentage of teachers in 2018/2019. This shows the need for further research regarding teacher management and teacher discipline to improve teacher performance in high schools throughout Banyuasin I Regency.
