The relevance of the research in the field of historical psychology arises from two main factors. Firstly, there is some potential of this field, which has not been sufficiently explored but has a predictive function and is practically significant in explaining modern reality. Secondly, a lack of theoretical and methodological development in historical psychology highlights the need for more research. Purpose: this paper aims to explore the psychological aspects of historical events within the framework of historical psychology. Historical psychology, as an interdisciplinary field, can benefit from incorporating psychological insights into historical analysis. The study shows that he concept of ‘event’ has different meanings in history and psychology, however, their interrelationship and mutual influence is crucial for a comprehensive understanding of historical phenomena through the lens of historical psychology. The concept of ‘historical event’ is one of the major ones in historical science. For historical psychology, the task is to examine the psychological content of historical events. Results: the research has revealed the content of the concept of ‘historical event’ in the humanities and the concept of ‘event’ in psychology. Such analysis shows the mandatory involvement of a person in any historical event. Analysis of the behavioral motives, goals, values, and worldviews of people from a particular historical period can contribute to identifying the determinants of historical events. Moreover, the study of collective emotions about events can help describe the psychological state of society under the influence of specific historical events. Conclusions: several criteria for analyzing the psychological aspect of historical events in historical psychology have been identified: analysis of the behavior of the event participants, their motives and goals, and methods of action; participation of historical figures in the event; the description of the historical event from the perspective of historical time; the event as an idea; feelings and collective emotions associated with the historical event. The practical significance of the research lies in the reflection of the influence of historical events on individuals and society as a whole. This influence manifests itself through the historical memory of people and determines a person’s sense of belonging to a particular historical community. It also contributes to the consolidation of society by creating shared collective experiences of historical events that are significant for that society and are passed down from generation to generation.

Rural children know cavity-nesting birds of the Atlantic Forest but may underappreciate their critical habitat

ABSTRACT Cavity-nesting birds are a diverse and charismatic community, with a common need for tree cavities that make them vulnerable to land management by humans. However, little research has formally integrated human social aspects into management recommendations for the conservation of cavity-nesting birds. In agroecosystems, people’s management decisions modify and define the habitat availability for native cavity-nesting species. These behaviors during adulthood are related to people’s worldviews and are shaped, in part, by childhood experiences. Ongoing forest loss may reduce opportunities for children to interact with and learn from cavity-nesting birds and their habitats. We used a social–ecological framework to assess rural children’s knowledge and representations of native cavity-nesting birds and their habitats in agroecosystems of the threatened Atlantic Forest of Argentina. We employed “freelists” and “draw-and-explain” strategies with 235 children from 19 rural schools and then compared results with a 4-year dataset of trees (n = 328) and tree-cavity nests (n = 164) in the same study area. Children listed a high diversity (93 taxa) of native cavity-nesting birds, especially parrots (Psittacidae), toucans (Ramphastidae), and woodpeckers (Picidae), which they mostly recognized as cavity nesters. However, children drew agricultural landscapes with few of the habitat features that these birds require (e.g., tree cavities, native forest). Exotic trees were overrepresented in drawings (40% of mentions) compared to our field dataset of nests (10%) and trees on farms (15%). Although children mentioned and depicted a high diversity of native cavity-nesting birds, our results may reveal a problematic extinction of experience regarding how these birds interact with their habitat. To strengthen children’s contextualized knowledge and promote their long-term commitment to the conservation of cavity-nesting species, we recommend fostering meaningful experiences for children to interact with native cavity-nesting birds and recognize their habitat needs. IMPORTANCE OF TURKEY IN THE RECONSTRUCTION OF AFGHANISTAN (THE CASE OF SOFT POWER)

Among the topics of modern international relations, the issue of "soft power" is one of the most studied current topics. The processes taking place in the system of international relations show that today the tasks of influencing people's world view, penetrating deeply into the internal cultural roots of societies, and making effective use of the large-scale power of the media are important conditions for conducting foreign policy. This article highlights the soft power of Turkey, which was able to create a unique phenomenon in Afghanistan by combining elements of historical, religious, cultural and ethnic affinity, and the structures that implement it.

Worldview, Morality, and Rasa in Sithon Manora Literature

The study of Sithon Manora literature consisted of the following objectives: 1) to study the worldview in Sithon Manora Literature, 2) to study the morality in Sithon Manora Literature, and 3) to study the Rasa (emotive aesthetics) in Sithon Manora Literature. The research is qualitative with the following research tools, surveys, structured and non-structured interviews, and the Sithon Manora Literature (Major Version) by Phra Ariyanuwat Khemacharee. The data was analyzed based on the research objectives using Folklore Theory and presented through descriptive analysis. The research result shows that 1) three worldviews were found in Sithon Manora literature. Firstly, the worldview of people on people, emphasizing parents, teachers, spouses, friends, brahmins, and servants. It was believed that the reason people met one another in this life was because of their past karmas. Secondly, the worldview of people on nature. Nature is beauty, and the Isaan society relies on nature and Isaan people depend their livelihood on nature. Lastly, the worldview of people on the supernatural. Isaan people believe that supernatural beings impact people’s livelihoods. 2) The morality found in Sithon Manora literature consists of the Five Precepts, a set of teachings for people to do good deeds. It is used as an anchor for people’s actions and includes retributions for violating the precepts. And 3) Regarding the Rasa, in all the 68 episodes of the literature, four Rasas were perceived, including Saovarojanee (admiration), Nareepramot (love), Pirotvatung (anger), and Sallapungkapisai (sadness).

The traditional culture of tribes contains their unique way of life and provides clues to distinguish their cultural similarities and unique characteristics. In this paper, we examined the Nivkh people's worldview, cult of water, the idea of the soul and afterlife and bear worship in terms of their traditional beliefs, and examined traditional funerals and traditional weddings in terms of traditional rituals. The Nivkh people, who have lived at the mouth of the Amur River for a long time, reflect the surrounding natural environment in their traditional beliefs. The Nivkh people, whose main livelihood was related to water, not only divided the world into the upper world, the middle world, and the lower world, but also divided the middle world into the three worlds of rivers, seas, and lakes. The importance of water to the Nivkh people is demonstrated by periodic offerings to the water god Tol yz. In the Nivkh people's view of the soul, the repetitive transition of the soul to the afterlife continues and each time the soul gets smaller in size and eventually turns into dust. And the idea of reincarnation in this world coexists. The Nivkh people's view of the underworld is characterized by the belief that the underworld is nearby and that it is not difficult to get there. The Nivkh people's bear festival clearly shows the clan characteristics, the kinship relationship between bear and the Nivkh people, and the exchange relationship between bear and the Nivkh people. The traditional funeral of the Nivkh people was cremation, which changed to burial after the 1940s, but some elements of past cremation continued. The most characteristic feature of the Nivkh traditional wedding is the pot-stomping ritual.

Conservative Worldviews and the Climate Publics of New Zealand and Australia

Abstract Public opinion on climate change is complex, comprising aspects such as belief, support for policies, and issue salience. This multidimensional nature of climate opinion can be accounted for by identifying “publics,” each comprising people with similar climate attitudes. Climate opinion has also been found to relate strongly to political worldviews, with people holding conservative attitudes tending to have low levels of engagement with climate change. However, few studies have investigated how political worldviews relate to membership of climate publics. The current study therefore identifies climate publics in New Zealand and Australia and investigates how they relate to economic and social aspects of conservative worldviews. Using an original online survey, I find no clear link between economic conservatism and membership of climate publics. Social conservatives, however, are more likely to be members of publics with low levels of climate engagement and of “middle” publics, which accept the science of climate change but are “lukewarm” on climate action. Climate opinion appears to be more polarized in Australia than New Zealand. These results provide insight into the worldviews of people in the “mainstream” of climate opinion and suggest that only a minority of the public are demanding ambitious climate action.

In this article, for research purposes, we talk about the functions of information media, and as a recommendation, the ways and methods of manipulating people through information communications are discussed. Peer technologies are also considered significantly for research. As we know, the media is mostly engaged in covering such issues as: education, health care, poverty, current events in the world. However, we should also not forget that the media plays a major role in fostering national self-awareness. The media is the main informant, a kind of transfer for the society on social, economic, political and cultural issues both inside and outside the country. "Communication affects culture, although it contributes to social and economic development. It mobilizes society and demands the appropriate attention from them." (Wilmer Shrem) The main function of information media management is the development of an organizational structure that facilitates the provision of correct information to the public. Media has a great influence on society, especially this influence is observed on human psychology. If for a long time the society thought it unbelievable to achieve various goals through the media, today it can be considered a normal occurrence. This was caused by the development of technology and the entry into the field of mass communication of the economy. The media can both lower people's worldview and its decline, informational regression. Thus, information management is the process of functional management of information. Its essence lies in the fact that a clear result is obtained by coordinating information, which is possible through top managers. Linguogeographic phenomena in the development of orographic terms in Kazakh language

Relevance. An important role in naming the object is played by people's attitude to the object based on peculiarities of everyday life and traditions. In Kazakh language the names of geographical features were given on the basis of people's world view and were often used for the orientation purposes. It is important to look into the past in order to learn more about the peculiarities of the current concepts of particular people. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to discuss the names of the terrain and the characteristics of their development in the Kazakh language. Methodology. The names of the terrain and the characteristics of their development can be considered in three different directions in accordance with the laws of unified nature of the language: first, the relationship between the level of nature study of the population and the principles of naming; second, the problems of using terms related to the names of geographical features in modern science; third, the tendencies of development of orographic terms in Kazakh language. Results. The main peculiarity of nature study by nomads is that they do not stay in one place, but are constantly on the move. The study concludes that the great changes in the life of humanity require the adaptation of the vocabulary to the modern times. Names describing the image of the Great Steppe should become active members of the language of science in accordance with modern requirements. Conclusions. General and singular names of geographical features in Kazakh language are developing in this way, taking common terms in the international space and adapting ancient terms to the requirements of the new time. Analysis of temporal and spatial systems in chinese linguoculture (on russian language background).

The present article is dedicated to the concepts of time and space as a fragment of the Russian and Chinese linguistic worldviews. Notions of time are fundamental to any culture and people's worldview, hence in this study, we attempt to "unify" the aspects of Chinese and Russian time and space that we have identified through research. Our research object, as a fragment of the Russian linguistic worldview, is connected with notions of time and space. The subject of our investigation is the linguistic means in which Russian speakers' notions of time are expressed, considered against the backdrop of the Chinese language in lexical, semantic, and grammatical aspects.The aim of the study is to identify and describe the main features of the representation of time in Chinese and Russian languages, as well as to highlight the main differences in the representation of time and space in the Chinese and Russian linguistic worldviews. Structural-semantic, linguacultural, and comparative analysis methods are employed to analyze the conceptual models of time in these two languages. The scientific novelty of this article lies in the attempt to use a spatial model to describe the concept of time in order to identify possible temporal dimensions in language, as well as in attempting to interpret and generalize the notions of time from the perspective of the cognitive perception of Chinese language speakers. The theoretical significance of this article lies in the endeavor to specify the cognitive perception of language speakers through the analysis of historical and cultural origins of time models, as well as in generalizing some regularities of time expression in modern languages. Studying the fundamental concept of time and space models contributes to the further development of cognitive models, translation, teaching Russian and Chinese as foreign languages etc.

Specific features of proverbs in language teaching

The urgency of the topic proverbs teaching in language education is due to the possibility of studying proverbs as linguistic units that enlarge the students outlook and worldview. Proverbs do reflect reality and do express the activities of the inhabitants of a certain language, which has some fragments of the world, although they reproduce from generation to generation the activities and cultural and national traditions of the people, its indigenous inhabitants. The scientific value of this is determined by the need to organize proverbial words and is determined by the fact that it allows you to make statements about certain aspects of what you are actively studying! There are currently problems in the relationship between language and culture that naturally reinforce the ideas found in proverbs and their relevance in philosophy. The notorious material allows one to penetrate into the area of mental activity of a linguistically determined society and opens up wide opportunities for conducting comparative research. A study of the system of proverbs and its educational role in language teaching, allowing to observe universal and national cultures in mentalities and contribute to the theoretical problems and general practices of applied linguistics in general, to solve methodological issues for carrying out linguocultural and methodological analysis. There are many ways to inculcate national education in future generations. One way is to shape the national consciousness by teaching proverbs and sayings that have been preserved from one generation to the next and have preserved the culture, identity, and traditions of the nation. This research studies the linguistic and cultural features of English proverbs. Therefore, in order to strengthen international relations, to introduce traditional proverbs, it is necessary to qualitatively determine their linguistic and cultural features. It is important to read texts with cultural coloring, phraseological phrases, catchphrases, real words, proverbs, legends and stories that reveal the identity of the people, as well as works which have a significant place in the history of fiction in shaping a person’s national consciousness. The people's life and world view are preserved in proverbs, metaphors and symbols. They are the sources of the most valuable information about the culture and mentality of the people.

MEANING CHANGES OCCURRING IN PHRASEOLOGY DURING THE TRANSLATION PROCESS

Today, the globalized world economy, international communication and political relations make translation very important. Electronic education and electronic commerce can also be added to this. Transmitting mass media information as quickly and intelligibly as possible also makes the demand for translation extremely important. The most important factor in the success of a translation is always the translation that takes into account the national tradition, the people's worldview, the way of thinking, the belief and faith. The translation includes not only the given text, but also the culture, and presents a new option by analyzing the relevance and close connection between the languages. In the article, the main aspects of the importance of translation, the changes that occur during translation, the preservation of national moral color, how translation mediates between two languages, the changes in meaning that occur during the transformation of phraseological combinations, and the examples of how high result-oriented translation takes place are examined.

The Geocultural Image of the Vygovsky Region in the Mikhail Prishvin’s Works: Specifics and Factors of Change

In the article the authors analyze the geocultural image of the Vygovsky region, its transformation in the works by Mikhail M. Prishvin in his early books “In the Land of Fearless Birds”, “Behind the Magic Bun” and in the final novel “Tsar’s Road”. In the first works, the idea of the unique geocultural space in the region is presented through acquaintance with the life style, cultural traditions, values and worldview of people who were born and live in this region all their lives. In the fairy tale novel “Tsar’s Road”, in contrast to the earlier works, deep philosophical reflections on the meaning of Russian history are added to Prishvin’s impression of the special natural and human “content” in the region, so the deciphering of an autonomous geocultural image, a unique complex subculture becomes the context for the writer to comprehend the multi-layered cultural, historical and socio-political space of the Russian North and Russia as a whole. The traditional contradiction of “necessity” and “freedom”, as a result of collision between state power and the original Russian people, according to the writer, on the territory of the Russian North has its own features and gives rise to other forms of compromise. The authors of the article explore these attributes of the transformation of cultural space in specific historical circumstances, its connection with geographical, political and socio-economic conditions, in the way Prishvin saw it, with the aim of further extrapolating conclusions to the historical and modern realities of Russian peoples. Views of Prishvin, which were not objectively assessed during the writer’s lifetime, today again attract the attention of the thinking part of humanity, since they raise to a very high level the problems of preserving the uniquenessof not only the natural-cultural system of the Russian North, but also of any ethnocultural subject.

The phenomenon of artistic and pedagogical mentality in terms of the professional activity of a fine art teacher

In the study, an attempt was made to represent the conceptual meaning and specifics of the artistic and pedagogical mentality of a modern art teacher. The aim of the study was to highlight the structural organization of the phenomenon of artistic and pedagogical mentality of an art teacher. The article highlights the terminological contours of the categories “mindset” and “mentality” in modern scientific discourse. It was revealed that the psychological and pedagogical content of mentality consists in a special way of thinking, the orientation of thoughts that are born in the subconscious, but gradually absorb what is common, what consists of natural data and socially conditioned elements and is reflected in the perception of professional reality. It is maintained that the professional mentality of a teacher is an integrative characteristic of a personality that reflects the system-specific features of the mental makeup and worldview of people in the teaching profession. The structure of artistic and pedagogical mentality of art teachers includes: artistic and figurative thinking, artistic and creative reflexivity, pedagogical creativity, multi-artistic orientation, professional and pedagogical intentionality, scientific-research culture. The functional-role and conceptual significance of the phenomenon “artistic pedagogical mentality” in terms of the specifics of the professional activity of a modern art teacher is determined. The author determines pedagogical conditions for the formation of the artistic and pedagogical mentality of future fine art teachers: the formation of a positive value attitude of future art teachers at the worldview level and an active motivational focus on the formation of the artistic and pedagogical mentality; introduction of pedagogical situations of quasi-professional activity, which require activation of the mechanisms of artistic and pedagogical mentality into the process of professional and pedagogical training of future art teachers; actualization of personal and professional reflection as a basis for artistic and creative self-development of future art teachers.

Development and Functioning of Green Insurance in the Context of Sustainable Development

Relevance. Ensuring sustainable development is one of the priority and urgent issues of our time, because in modern socio-economic and geopolitical conditions, economic entities cannot formulate and approve long-term development strategies: the introduction and application of digital and production technologies, the development of information systems, e-commerce platforms lead to a rapid change in the conditions of economic, production and economic activity. In this aspect, the issues of assessing the risks of sustainable development, including climatic and environmental ones, in which absolutely all participants of the economy are involved, also remain relevant. The purpose of the study is to identify current trends in the development and functioning of green insurance in the aspect of ensuring sustainable development. Objectives: to define the goals, objectives and principles of insurance in the context of ensuring sustainable development, to highlight the aspects and components of sustainable development, the place and role of green insurance in achieving the goals of the financial component of sustainable development, to identify constraints to the development of green insurance in the Russian Federation. Methodology. In the course of the research, general scientific methods were used: scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, generalization of scientific practice, deduction, induction. Results. The conducted research made it possible to form and highlight the following scientific results: to determine the prerequisites and identify the importance of green insurance in the aspect of ensuring sustainable development;to highlight the aspects and components of sustainable development; to identify the constraining factors of the development of green insurance in the Russian Federation. Conclusions. Green insurance is one of the most important components of the financial component of ensuring sustainable development. Today we are witnessing only the formation of the sphere of green insurance, since the necessary principles and conditions are being introduced into the activities of economic entities. To scale this industry, it is necessary to change people's worldview, attitude to the environment, awareness of the importance of caring for the environment and everyone's responsibility for the ecological footprint they leave, the consequences of making a decision by each of us.

Концепт «Грех» в русской языковой ментальности - фреймовый подход

In the article, the concept of «Sin» is subjected to a comprehensive study and description, which is the ethical dominant of the Russian religious and Orthodox picture of the world, which determines the most important, spiritual and value sphere of the people's worldview, as well as its linguistic representation.
 Using the method of linguistic modeling, we have constructed a frame structure that represents the concept of «Sin» in both religious and everyday types of consciousness frame. The semantic structure of the concept «Sin» was presented graphically, in the form of diagrams.
 On the basis of Russian phraseological units, using component analysis, semantic features, motivating features and motivating factors for the functioning of the frame «Sin» were determined.
 The frame structure of Russian proverbs with the lexeme «Sin» was developed, one of the criteria of cultural significance of which is the frame nature of their semantics, due to their ability to reflect generalized situations.
 The results of the study can be used in special courses on cognitive linguistics, linguoculturology and lexicology, as well as in a practical course of the Russian language.

A Study on Evaluating the Impact of Social Media's Fake News on The Attitudes and Beliefs of a Society

The widespread availability of misleading information in this age of instantaneous information dissemination through social media platforms has prompted significant worry about its possible impact on people's worldviews. The major purpose of this research is to assess the influence of false news on social media on people's opinions and worldviews. Using a combination of quantitative surveys and qualitative content analysis, this research examines the frequency with which people are exposed to fake news. And moreover, it investigates the cognitive processes underlying the approval or rejection of such news, as well as its subsequent impact on individuals' attitudes and beliefs. The findings demonstrate a multifaceted correlation between misinformation exposure and changes in attitudes and beliefs. Regular exposure to misinformation is statistically associated with a decline in trust in conventional media outlets, according to the findings of a quantitative study. Individuals and society are affected by the implications of these findings, which have far-reaching effects. The decline in trust in conventional media underscores the critical need for media literacy education, which equips individuals with the ability to evaluate the veracity of information critically. In addition, the research highlights the importance of users in appropriately sharing content and the value of social media platforms in limiting the spread of disinformation. The results add to our growing knowledge of the complex link between fake news and public opinion. This provides policymakers, journalists, and educators with useful knowledge for navigating the current media environment. By illuminating the interplay between information intake, belief formation, and the rise of digital communication, this study betters our capacity to comprehend the multifaceted effects of fake news on social media. This research has important implications for the design of effective measures to reduce the societal harm caused by deception.

Своеобразие казахской философии

В статье раскрыты сущность и особенности казахской философии. Казахская философия имеет общие проблемы с греческой, индийской, китайской и русской философией и, с этой точки зрения, находится во взаимосвязи с мировой философией. В то же время казахская философия имеет свою специфику и отличительные черты. Она своеобразна затронутой проблематикой в ней, специфическими формами выражения мысли, с собственным стилем мышления и нет необходимости постоянно оглядываться на развитую западную философию. Учиться у других надо, но не следует подражать или заимствовать их стиль мышления. Предназначение философии — быть понятной для каждого человека, повлиять на него, учить и изменять его в лучшую сторону. Такой была восточная философия и такой является философия казахов. Особенности мировоззрения казахского народа связаны с кочевой цивилизацией и культурой, с развитием вербальных форм культуры, а следовательно, с отсутствием письменных источников. Авторы статьи акцентируют внимание на том, что традиционная казахская философия, берущая начало с акынов-жырау и нашедшая свое продолжение в философии Абая и Шакарима, является не профессиональной, научной философией, но философией мудрости, понимания и воспитания, переплетающейся с повседневной жизнью человека, религией, искусством, литературой. В творчестве казахских мыслителей всегда доминировали проблемы добра и зла, чести и достоинства человека. Авторы статьи называют казахскую философию практической философией, опираясь на И. Канта.

Evolution of Indian Cinema and Its Impact on Indian Culture

Indian cinema has greatly contributed to the globalisation of Indian culture, the world of cinema has seen many changes, this paper will shed some light on the societal impact of Indian cinema. Owing to the enhancement of technology and creativity, cinema has been a major influence on people's world views and perspectives. By examining major Bollywood and Tollywood films, this paper will analyse how Indian cinema has affected the course of Indian history. Moreover, the paper presents what changes have occurred in the opinions of the masses as a result of cinema's impact on Indian culture and society.

Exploring Religion as a Tool of Nigeria’s Public Diplomacy

On April 26, 2016, former United States Secretary of State, John Kerr, emphasized the link between religion and foreign policy. He underscored how religion can have either a positive or a destabilizing influence on world affairs. Religion today remains deeply consequential, affecting the values, actions, choices, and worldview of people in every walk of life on every continent. This paper argues that religion, which is often considered a cultural element of soft power, has become an inevitable and important factor in the furtherance of public diplomacy goals in this day and age. It conceptualizes religious institutions as non-state public diplomacy actors. To this end, the influence of religion on Nigeria’s relations with the international community is examined. The study also examined the global engagement efforts of Nigeria’s religious institutions and how they can be better utilized as a constructive instrument for the country’s public diplomacy.

Textbooks Sanzhar N., Rushanova N. "Introduction to the theory of cinema-media" and "Editor of cinema-media" are prepared for students and undergraduates of creative faculties of universities in the system of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Both manuals were published in 2022 and have a close correlation between them. In the first book, the forms of influence of the "culture industry", modern information and communication technologies on people's worldview are shown in a theoretical perspective on a large historical and cultural material, the features of social and communicative strategies in television dramaturgy are considered. In the second book, the authors of the textbook, who have extensive experience working on TV and in film production, share with students practical skills in preparing dramatic products, in particular scripts for mass media, introduce them to the methods and techniques of the editor's work with authors and directors.
