Within the past decade, however, the plurality of the underlying disorders responsible for this clinical syndrome has been established. There is evidence that some patients suffering from the condition may be dramatically improved with appropriate therapy,2whereas treatment of the more outstanding manifestations of the disease may be followed by aggravation of the symptoms. An attempt to set up criteria for the differentiation of the various forms of the disorder is therefore indicated. Two cases...Bibliography1.
