Abstract

Summary A case of primary liver carcinoma of the bile duct cell type in a young negro has been presented. The outstanding manifestations were hypoglycemic convulsions. These were temporarily relieved by glucose but within a short time the convulsions came closer and lasted longer in spite of repeated concentrated infusion. Hepatic functional measurements showed abnormality but clinical manifestations of progressive hepatic failure exclusive of hypoglycemia were minimal.
