Engine oil is essential for a engine and it has various roles like lubrication, cooling, retention of airtight, cleaning action and etc. Diesel engine generates a lot of soot than gasoline engine. So diesel engine oil is so contaminated by soot. These soot in diesel engine oil cause promotion of wear and oxidation of diesel engine oil. However, to remove soot from engine oil by oil filter is very difficult because the diameter of soot is nanometer. In this research, we assume the equipment which makes coagulated soot in the needle tip by an electric field and removes these coagulated soot by a oil filter. To achieve this equipment, we clarified the influence of applied voltage, time of application of voltage and frequency of applied voltage for coagulation of soot to the needle tip. And we also clarified the possibility of removing coagulated soot by a filter.
