Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Terpadu Materi Pokok Perubahan Sosial Budaya dan Globalisasi Melalui Penerapan Metode Reciprocal Teaching Siswa Kelas IX.2 MTsN 10 Bireuen

This study aims to see whether learning with reciprocal teaching methods can improve learning outcomes and increase student activity in participating in teaching and learning activities in Integrated Social Studies subjects in grade IX.2 MTsN 10 Bireuen Odd Semester Academic Year 2019/2020. The subjects in this study were 32 students of grade IX.2 MTsN 10 Bireuen. The data in this study was processed by tabulating data and analyzed and processed manually. From the results of the initial data to cycle III, the average learning outcome was 74.91 with completeness reaching 62.50% in cycle I, an average of 83.31 with completeness of 81.25% in cycle II, and an average of 87.78 with completeness reaching 100% in cycle III. The result of this study is that the reciprocal teaching method can improve the learning outcomes of Integrated Social Studies, and increase the competence of the preparation of the Integrated Social Studies cycle in grade IX.2 students, and can increase student activity in participating in teaching and learning activities.

PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK

This research aims to improve the learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes by implementing the Problem Based Learning model of the students in class VIII.6 MTs Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Subject of this research are students of class VIII.6 MTs Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in odd semester of academic year 2019/2020 which consist of 31 students. This form of research is a classroom action with two cycles. Data collection using observation sheets and learning outcome test. The result of the research showed that the learning process has improved from cycle 1 to cycle 2, seen from the achievements of mathematics learning outcomes of students in aspects oof knowledge and skills. The data obtained from the student’s achievement test shows that the percentage of students who reached the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) aspek of knowledge has increased is 16,12% and 29,03% on aspek of skill. The conclusion of this research is implementation of the Problem Based Learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of students.

Effect of Problem Based Learning on Critical Thinking Skill and Enviromental Attitude

This study aims to find out (1) the effect of problem-based learning model on critical thinking skill, and (2) the effect of problem-based learning model on environmental attitude. This study employs a quasi experiment model using pretest-postest for control group design. The subject of the study is Social Science Education Department students of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang, Indoensia who were studying in the odd semester of Academic Year of 2018/2019. The numbers of students in experimental and control class are 25 people. The assessment instrument used for environmental attitude is Likert scale, and essay test is used for assessing the critical thinking skill. The data analysis in this study used normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The results of the study indicate that (1) learning activity using PBL model affects the students’ critical thinking, because through PBL learning, students are trained to think critically to solve real problems in groups. 2) The learning activity using PBL model affects the students’ environmental attitude, because the problem solving process in PBL learning encourages students to care about their environment.

CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENT ERRORS IN SOLVING THE QUADRATIC EQUATION AND QUADRATIC FUNCTION IN CLASS IX SMP JUARA PEKANBARU

The aims of this researches to classification the mistakes made by students osf SMP Juara Pekanbaru in solving the equation of square and the function of square. This research was conducted in SMP Juara pekanbaru in the odd semester of Academic Year 2019/2020. This research uses a descriptive method with research form is a case study. The subject of his research is the IX Class (ninth grade). The result of this study indicate that systematic errors are as many as 6 errors or equal to 5,50%, random errors that is as much as 11 errors or equal to 10,09%, mistake carelessness as much as 111 mistakes or by 84,41%.

ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA DALAM TUGAS MAKALAH MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PGMI SEMESTER III TAHUN AKADEMIK 2019/2020

This study aims to describe the form of language errors in the papers of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program Odd Semester Academic Year 2019/2020. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data source is obtained from language errors in student paper assignments. Language errors analyzed include spelling mistakes. The data collection method used is the documentation method. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's theory which includes data reduction, display or presentation of data, then conclusions. Based on the results of this study found the form of language errors in the papers of PGMI Study Program Semester III Academic Year 2019/2020 namely: writing errors that include capital and italics. Word writing errors that include writing prepositions, chopping letters, and pronouns. Writing punctuation errors that include period punctuation and comma punctuation.

PENGARUH MINAT BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

INFLUENCE OF STUDENT LEARNING INTEREST IN RESULTS OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMESThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest in learning on student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative study with a causal study method on learning interest as an independent variable and learning outcomes as a dependent variable. The object of this research is the VA class and VB Kopo 01 Public Elementary School, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency Odd Semester Academic Year 2019/2020 totaling 98 with a sample of 50 respondents. The data of this study were obtained by using a Likert scale questionnaire for learning interest variables and using test questions for learning outcome variables. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between learning interests on learning outcomes. This is based on statistical analysis that produces a coefficient of determination (rxy) of 0.369 and in the pattern of the problem becomes Ŷ = -17.14 + (0.75x) which means the level of influence is classified as strong and is obtained tcount of 33.28 greater than ttable with a level significant 0.05 of 4.04, which means significant. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between learning interests on student learning outcomes.

Perangkat Pembelajaran Fisika Model Project Based Learning (PJBL) untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Proses Sains SMA

The aim of this research is to produce a physics learning package using Project Based Learning (PjBL) model that valid to increase students science process skill. This research was conducted using these stages from 4-D model, which are defining, designing and developing. Learning package tested in 11st grade of Islamic An-Nidhomiah Senior High School in odd semester of academic year 2017/2018. Learning tools developed which include (a) Syllabus, (b) Lesson Plan, (c) Student Book, (d) Worksheet, and (e) Sheet Assesment. Parameter measured were the validity of package learning with Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The research data obtained through the validation method. The result of the research showed that the category of learning package developed is valid. Based on the analysis and discussion concluded that the learning package developed were valid.v

Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika

This study aims to improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical problem solving skill by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is classroom action research with two cycles. This research was conducted in collaboration between researcher and teacher of mathematics. Subjects were students of class SMPN 9 Pekanbaru. Study was conducted in the odd semester of academic year 2019/2020. The research instrument consists of mathematical learning instruments and instruments to collect data. Mathematical learning instruments used in this study are syllabus, lesson plans, and activity sheets. Data collection instruments used in this study is observation sheets and mathematical problem solving tests. Data analysis technique in this study is analysis descriptive narrative of qualitative data and descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative data. The result of this study showed that the implementation of PBL improved the learning process and the student’s mathematical problem solving skill. The student’s average value in cycle I which is 70,27 had improved to 84,07 in cycle II. The improvement also found in the indicator average value in understanding the problem (94,99), planning a solution (69,71), implementing the pland (82,77), and checking again (54,85). This study concludes that the implementation of PBL improved the student’s mathematical problem solving skill at class SMPN 9 Pekanbaru.

Effectiveness of Discovery learning Models Assisted by Puzzle Mind maps on the Activities and Learning Outcomes of the Structure and Function of Animal Tissue Materials

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of discovery learning models assisted by puzzle mind maps on the activities and learning outcomes of the Structure and Function of Animal Tissue Materials. This research was conducted at SMAN 13 Semarang in the Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. This research is a Quasi Experiment study with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research were all students of Class XI MIPA of SMAN 13 Semarang. The sample used was Class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 2 which was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the learning outcomes showed that there were no significant differences between the learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class (sig. ˃ 0.05). Data on student activity obtained by observation and filling in questionnaire sheets showed that 100% of the experimental class students entered very active and active category, while in the control class showed that 89.3% of students entered were very active and active category. This shows that the experimental class is able to surpass the indicator ≥ 90% in the student activity. The conclusion is the application of discovery learning models assisted by puzzle mind map of the Structure and Function of Animal Tissue Materials effectively applied to increase student activity but not to improve learning outcomes.

Kualitas Soal Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) Buatan Guru Mata Pelajaran Kimia Kelas XI IPA SMA Di Kabupaten Barito Timur Pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019

Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat Kualitas Soal Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) Buatan Guru Mata Pelajaran Kimia Kelas XI IPA SMA di Kabupaten Barito Timur pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah soal buatan guru berbentuk uraian dan jawaban siswa hasil Penilaian Akhir Semester (PAS) mata pelajaran Kimia kelas XI IPA SMA A, kelas XI IPA SMA B, dan Kelas XI IPA SMA C, pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan logical review dan empirical review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas soal PAS buatan guru kimia ditinjau dari analisis logical review diperoleh tingkat kesesuaian soal dengan Kompetensi Dasar sebesar 68%. Aspek konstruksi soal sebesar 69,16% dengan kriteria soal tergolong sedang. Aspek materi soal sebesar 98,33% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Aspek bahasa soal sebesar 76,67% dengan kriteria cukup baik. Distribusi jenjang ranah kognitif taksonomi bloom adalah C1 sebesar 24%, C2 sebesar 60%, C3 sebesar 60%, C4 sebesar 4%. Kualitas soal PAS buatan guru kimia ditinjau dari analisis empirical review diperoleh rata-rata soal yang baik berdasarkan indeks kesukaran dan indeks daya beda sebesar 68% atau 17 soal dari 25 soal yang dianalisis memenuhi acuan kriteria empirical review. Uji reliabilitas yang diperoleh memiliki korelasi yang tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,85.

STUDENTS’ PERSPECTIVE ON KETRAMPILAN WAJIB BAHASA INGGRIS IN UNIVERSITAS MURIA KUDUS

Due to globalization, the need of English mastery is getting higher. Therefore, it is very important for students to master the international language in order to survive in the global competition. To prepare its alumni with good English competence Universitas Muria Kudus requires all students to pursue Ketrampilan Wajib Bahasa Inggris (English Compulsory Skill) with 0 SKS. This policy has been ruled since 2001 and organized by Language Center of Universitas Muria Kudus. To know whether the program runs effectively, at the end of each semester, there is an evaluation conducted by the instructors along with the head of the Language Center. However, it does not involve the students. Therefore, it is worthy to investigate students’ responses and opinions of the class. This study aims at describing students' perceptions on the learning process of Ketrampilan Wajib Bahasa Inggris in the academic semester of 2014/2015. To achieve the above objectives, this study was conducted by survey. Questionnaires were distributed to 98 students who were selected randomly, out of 498 students joining the class in the academic year 2014/2015. The results of data analysis shows that the learning process of Ketrampilan Wajib Bahasa Inggris class in odd semester academic year 2014/2015 ran well. This is shown from the learning strategies, learning media, learning materials, student interests, students discipline in joining the English course and student mastery were classified as good. Some improvements need to be done so that the quality of learning can be improved due to satisfactory service of Language Center.Keywords: Ketrampilan Wajib Bahasa Inggris, learning, TOEFL.

Using Rasch Model to Detect Differential Person Functioning and Cheating Behavior in Natural Sciences Learning Achievement Test

The existence of abberant response showed the inaccuracy of measurement which, in turn, threatens the test validity. This study aims at: (1) Discovering the proportion of students who were having Differential Person Functioning (DPF) in final term assessment test of natural sciences course for 8th grade in odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Tegal Regency, Indonesia; (2) Identifying the students suspected of cheating during the final term assessment test of natural sciences course for 8th grade in odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Tegal Regency, Indonesia. This research involved 1011 student responses to final term assessment test of natural sciences course for 8th grade in odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Tegal Regency, Indonesia. The data were taken from four junior high schools; SMPN I Dukuhturi, SMPN I Suradadi, SMPN 2 Slawi and SMPN 2 Dukuhwaru. The scoring was done using Rasch model and the person fit index used Sijtsma’s Ht person fit statistic (Ht). The result showed: (1) 14% of the students attending final term assessment of natural sciences course for 8th grade in the odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Tegal Regency, Indonesia were detected of having DPF. From the four junior high schools involved in the research, three junior high schools have a proportion of students having DPF at a range from 9.6% to 23%, and only 1.1% of the other one’s students were having DPF; (2) Nine pairs of students were suspected of cheating during the final term assessment of natural sciences course for 8th grade in the odd semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Tegal Regency, Indonesia.

HUBUNGAN ANTARA MINAT BELAJAR TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA SDN 3 JATIMULYO

One factor that influences learning outcomes is interest. In learning activities, if students have an interest in learning, they will feel that learning is very important so they try to focus their attention on things related to learning activities and are happy to do it without coercion from anyone. This research aims to determine the correlation of interest in learning with mathematics learning outcomes of students at Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo, Jatiagung District, South Lampung Regency. This research uses quantitative methods and the type of correlation research. The population of this study was all fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo. The sample of this study was 69 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis uses the product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate there is a relationship between learning interest with learning outcomes in mathematics. These results are based on statistical calculations that show a calculation of 0.918> rtable 0.235. The results of the hypothesis analysis can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between learning interest and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Elementary School 3 Jatimulyo Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019 by judging from the count criteria> rtable

The Effect of E-Learning, Student Facilitator and Explaining Model Learning and Self-Regulated Learning on 11th Grade Students Learning Outcomes of Economic Subject in Senior High School 1 Perbaungan School Year 2019/2020

This study aims to determine students taught by E-Learning and SFAE models obtain higher economic learning outcomes compared to SFAE models without E-Learning. The study is conducted in odd semester of Academic Year 2019/2020 in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan. The sampling technique of this study uses a cluster random sampling technique to establish an experimental group and a control group. The research approach is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design with non-equivalent (Pre Test and Post Test Design). The research design is pretest and posttest control design and the research design can be presented with a 2 x 2 factorial design with the Two Path Analysis of Variance (ANAVA) technique. The results shows that there is a difference between student learning outcomes in the E-Learning class + SFAE Learning Model, and student learning outcomes applied by the SFAE Learning Model model and students who gained the greatest influence from E-Learning + SFAE Learning Model on student economic learning outcomes, namely 0 , 0929. It means that E-Learning + SFAE Learning Model can explain 9.29% the effect of variations in the score of student learning outcomes.

Cognitive Growth Learning Model to Improve the Students’ Critical Thinking Skills

The ability to think critically and mathematically is strongly needed so that the students are able to face the challenges of 4.0 industrial revolution. By thinking critically, they are expected to be more adaptive in finding solutions to each problem. This study aims to identify the students' mathematical critical thinking skills in solving differential calculus problem solving based on some indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills in learning using cognitive growth model. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was caried out within four weeks in the odd semester of academic year 2018/2019. The subjects of this study were the first-year students of the Mathematics Education Program in one of higher education institutions in Magelang, Central Java who took the Differential Calculus course. Data collection techniques in this study were test, observation, and interviews. The test results were then analyzed quantitatively, and the indicators of critical thinking skills in each question were also described. Based on the results of the study, it can be shown that about 30% students who begin to think critically is initiated by achieving the indicator of analyzing the arguments. However, not all students who begin to think critically are also able to draw conclusions precisely through deductive and inductive reasoning. There are only five or 16.67% who have been able to draw conclusions correctly.

Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Siswa dalam Asking and Giving for Opinion dengan Menggunakan Teknik Make A Match, Sebuah Studi Kasus Kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA N 11 Semarang pada Tahun Akademik 2018/2019

Low of students’ writing ability and monotonous learning technique made the students less interested in the learning process. Based on the causes, the objectives of this research are: (1) To find out the improvement students’ ability in writing asking and giving for opinion. (2) To prove the effectiveness students’ ability in writing asking and giving for opinion by using Make a Match technique. This research was conducted two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data was collected with tests and non-test techniques. The subject of this research was XI MIPA 2 of 11 SHS Semarang. This research was conducted in the odd semester in academic year of 2018/2019. The result obtained the mean of students’ score in the first cycle was 78, the percentage completeness of students’ score was 75%. The mean of students’ score in the second cycle was 82, the percentage completeness of students’ score was 81%. Students’ score in each cycle have increased, with an increase in learning outcomes of 6%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the use of Make a Match technique improve students’ writing ability in asking and giving for opinion of XI MIPA 2 Class of 11 Senior High School Semarang. Beside that, the use of Make a Match technique could make students more active and created “fun” learning environment. Therefore, English teacher is recommended to use Make a Match technique in learning English to improve students’ writing ability.

Dominant Language Learning Strategies Used by Managemen Dakwah Department Students at UIN MATARAM


 AbstractOne of the prominent skills to be acquired by English language learners is Language learning strategies (LLSs) which is significant to enhance communicative competence. Individual’s differences in using the strategies depict their understanding on LLSs. An interesting fact on the result of Manajemen Dakwah Department Students (MDDSs) at State Islamic University (UIN) of Mataram in the odd semester of academic year 2018-2019 was 64 students got higher average English scores in their final test (88) compared to their middle test (65) that might reflect different use of LLS. The English subject was focusing on reading comprehension. Furthermore, descriptive qualitative case study was applied to record the dominant LLSs used by ten successful students or achievers in English class who has the criteria of achieving English score above 90. Three instruments were used to gather data, they are: documentation, questionnaire, and interview. The result shows that students used all LLSs and creating their own learning opportunities. Only HN that did not use social strategy though he used all other strategies. It means that successful MDDSs believe that exactly all LLSs are significant for elevating their language learning. Another result shows that the dominant LLSs which were used are compensation as they are good guesser for the unfamiliar words, memory strategy since they always try to memorize to retain the vocabulary in mind, and metacognitive strategy where they always create best setting for them to learn.

Implementasi Model Pembelajaran STAD Berbantuan LKM Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Akuntansi Sektor Publik

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the implementation of STAD learning model assisted with LKM. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in 3 cycles. Time of study in odd semester Academic Year 2018/2019, with a sample of accounting students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Musamus, Merauke. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive quantitative data analysis with percentages. The results of the study show that the Implementation of STAD Learning Model Assisted with LKM can improve Public Sector Accounting Learning Outcomes. The increase can be seen from the average value of student learning outcomes on the cycle of 50,36, increasing in the first cycle of 61,02, increasing in the second cycle of 73.07, and increasing in the third cycle of 85,31.

Development of Physics Module based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning as a Tool to Increase Student Science Process Skills

Based on preliminary research conducted at the beginning of the odd semester of academic year 2017, information about the problems and needs in the Basic Physics lectures in the Industrial Engineering Study Program at STT Dumai is obtained. The problem found is the unavailability of teaching materials that facilitate the development of process skills in students, which supports students to learn independently in constructing their own knowledge in accordance with the nature of science. Hence, this study develops physics modules based on process oriented guided inquiry learning (POGIL) models. This module is developed with the ADDIE development model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. But this paper only present physics module based on POGIL models that has been developed by analysis, design, development. The results of the development from the three stages of ADDIE are modules which each part is related to the syntax POGIL model, such as 1) formulating the hypothesis, 2) designing the experiment, 3) writing data and analyzing the results of the experiment, 4) applying the concept (related to the problem presented at the beginning of the worksheet) and 5) communicate.

The Analytical Thinking Skill of Grade XI Students of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang

This research aims to study the development of students’ analytical thinking skill during animal tissue learning. The other aim is to identify the obstacles experienced by the teacher in developing the students’ analytical thinking skill during learning process. The study used case study design. The study was held on odd semester of academic year 2017/2018. The samples were XI IPA5, XI IPA6, dan XI IPA7. The datas in this research are the data of learning implementation, students’ analytical thinking skill, and the teacher’s obstacles during the learning. The data of learning implementation was obtained from observation sheets. The data of students’ analytical thinking skill was obtained from observation and test. The data of challenge which was experienced by teacher and students’ response were obtained from teacher and students’ questionnaire. The data of learning implementation is analyzed by measuring the percentage of learning process implementation. Based on that percentage, the implementation of learning held by teacher can be categorized into very well, well, and dissatisfactory. The data of analytical thinking skill was analyzed by calculate the score of analytical thinking skill test. Based on that score, students were grouped into 3 categories; high, medium, and low. The data of teacher and student responses were analyzed by calculating the score percentage of teacher and students questionaires. The result of study showed that students’ analytical thinking skill developed well through lecture method (67%), and it developed very well through discussion method (89%). Most of the students (68%) had medium analytical thinking. The teacher challenged the development of indicator of analytical thinking skill in evaluating opinion, and collecting and assessing information. According to the students, their analytical thinking skill developed well during the learning.
