The article contains the results of the main causes of occupational morbidity of livestock workers, gives a classification of occupational diseases of livestock workers, as well as the main causes of their occurrence and recommendations for reducing. The nomenclature of parameters affecting the health of workers as a result of direct contact with animals, related to the impact of harmful industrial factors in animal husbandry is given. The main causes of injuries during work with animals are listed. The most common classification of zoonotic diseases is given, as well as the classification of methods of transmitting zoonotic diseases. Preventive measures against zoonotic diseases are named. Factors leading to the spread of respiratory diseases at animal husbandry facilities are considered. The reasons of contact dermatitis distribution on livestock lands are considered. Attention is paid to infectious dermatoses caused by insects. The prevention measures of all types of dermatitis are listed. Attention is drawn to the relationship of the number of cattle with population growth. Measures for the prevention of occupational diseases are named.
