Ways to Preserve the Traditional Art of Jianzhi from Jinzhou in Modern China

This article discusses the methods of preserving jianzhi art from Jinzhou. Among the ways to ensure this activity, traditional inheritance, museum business, school education, the use of modern technologies, the program of "productive conservation", as well as the organization of education were highlighted. The expansion of preservation work will not only popularize the art of jianzhi, attract more people to its study and preservation, but most importantly, preserve those intangible cultural values of the people that reflect not only its traditions, customs, culture, way of life, but also its uniqueness and identity. The author concludes that it is possible to preserve traditional art through the use of the methods described by him. He points out the need to develop the jianzhi craft, as it embodies the unique characteristics of the Jinzhou people, their culture, traditions and identity. At the same time, to include paper cutting art in Jinzhou in people's lives, it is necessary to count not only on the help and support of the government, but also on the love and recognition of the people. With the help of public forces and the media so that jianzhi art and the traditional culture it carries can continue to exist and develop.

ТЕОРЕТИЧНІ ОСНОВИ СЕРВІСУ НА ПІДПРИЄМСТВІ ГОТЕЛЬНО-РЕСТОРАННОЇ СПРАВИ

The article is devoted to the theoretical foundations of serviceology at hotel and restaurant enterprises, as a science of economic development and management in the field of service. The object of the article is the sphere of service as a structural element of the modern global economy. The purpose of this article is the development of service science at hotel and restaurant enterprises, as a scientific basis for the development of the service sector in the modern economy of the country. To achieve the goal, the following tasks are solved:- the concept and categories of serviceology in the sphere of services at hotel and restaurant enterprises and the impact of scientific, technical and socio-economic progress on it are investigated;- given characteristics of the position of serviceology – the science of the service sphere and its development;- consider the roles and laws to improve the quality of services and the efficiency of management of the sphere of services in the conditions of scientific and technical progress and intensive development of information technologies.The research methodology in this article includes historical and logical analysis, structural analysis, comparative analysis, analogy, scientific synthesis.The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that the provisions of serviceology are being formed at the enterprises of the hotel and restaurant business, as the scientific basis of the service sphere. The theoretical foundations of the development of the economy and management in the field of service at hotel and restaurant enterprises in the conditions of globalization of the service market, the development of service and information technologies and communications, which can be used to analyze the competitiveness of services at hotel and restaurant enterprises, are studied and formed.In the integration of types of services, such as tourism, hotel, museum business (and others), the restaurant service can increase the quality and attractiveness of such services by creating a synergistic effect of obtaining cognitive, cultural and food satisfaction. The subject of hotel and restaurant serviceology can be called the system of economic, managerial, organizational, financial, social relations that arise in the process of promotion, production and consumption of hotel and restaurant services.Subjects of the sphere of hotel and restaurant services are producers, consumers, customers, intermediaries (individuals and legal entities) participating in the process of socio-economic relations in the sphere of production and consumption of hotel and restaurant services.Hotel and restaurant serviceology can be a part, a structural element of modern serviceology, science and science.Therefore, the development of a conceptual apparatus and science about this segment of social services is needed. We will take into account that the term serviceology is a combination of the words «service» and «logos (science)», and the definition «hotel-restaurant» emphasizes branch affiliation and the specificity of the branch. In addition, let's pay attention to the fact that the concept of restaurantology is derived from the words «restaurant» and «logos (science)» and also indicates a scientific character, industry focus and social orientation. Thus, at the conceptual level, it is emphasized that the hotel and restaurant business simultaneously acts as a part of serviceology and the science of hotels and restaurants, their functioning and socio-economic significance. Transformation of the concept "museum" in the Ukrainian space

After the conference in Japan in 2019, museum communities of different countries discussed the transformation of the concept of "museum" and the need to change the existing definition. The article attempts to outline how the idea of "museum" was transformed among Ukrainian museum workers from the end of the 19th century till now. At this time, active museum life unfolded on Ukrainian lands, and activists sought to outline the museum's mission. The idea of this concept was modified given the change in the political situation. Special requirements for the museum as a tool of propaganda existed within the framework of the Soviet socio-political system. After Ukraine declared independence, theorists and practitioners of the museum business primarily evaluated the museum as an institution of social memory, indicating this direction's importance for Ukrainian civil society. As an official representative of the Ukrainian museum community, the Presidium of the ICOM of Ukraine draws attention to the need to preserve the existing concept's critical characteristic against the current debate's background. At the same time, ICOM Ukraine warned that purely formal compliance with functional criteria does not prevent the transformation of museums into a tool of propaganda. Russia's cynical war against Ukraine in 2022 demonstrates that this is what must avoid at all costs.

СТРАТЕГУВАННЯ ЯК МЕХАНІЗМ УДОСКОНАЛЕННЯ ДЕРЖАВНОЇ ПОЛІТИКИ ЦИФРОВОГО РОЗВИТКУ У СФЕРІ МУЗЕЙНОЇ СПРАВИ

The aim of the article is to conceptualize the concept of "digital development in the field of museum affairs" and highlight strategizing as a mechanism for improving the state policy of digital development in the field of museum affairs. The article examines the principles of digital development in the field of museum work and the main global trends and innovations related to the digitalization of museum work. Digital transformations in the world, the rapid development of technical means of creating, presenting and storing information have led to the penetration of the museum in the field of audiovisual and digital technologies. The basic principles of the state policy of digital development in the field of museum business are revealed. Today in Ukraine there is a system of legal acts, which in their direction are conditionally divided into certain components, namely, legal, social, economic and organizational support for the principles of digital development in the field of museum affairs. These legal documents have a general - unified and special - differentiated nature. The work is designed to demonstrate the theoretical aspects of the strategy process at the state level, which gives impetus to innovation and the development of integrated transformation programs. A key aspect is to highlight the direction of research on the topic, namely the functionality and services of strategic state development policy in the field of museum affairs.

ИНСТРУМЕНТЫ ПОПУЛЯРИЗАЦИИ ПАЛЕОНТОЛОГИИ В МУЗЕЙНОМ ПРОСТРАНСТВЕ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ВЫСТАВОЧНОГО ПРОЕКТА АЛТАЙСКОГО ГОСУДАРСТВЕННОГО КРАЕВЕДЧЕСКОГО МУЗЕЯ "ДОИСТОРИЧЕСКИЕ МИРЫ")

The publication discusses the issues of popularization of scientific knowledge in the field of museum business. The field of scientific knowledge was the science of fossil living organisms - paleontology. As an example, the exhibition project of the Altai State Museum of Local Lore “Prehistoric Worlds”, held in 2021 in Barnaul, is given. The successful implementation became possible thanks to the collaboration of various institutions - the state museum, a private educational project, an educational club. Open public lectures, interactive programs and educational games are popularization tools used by the creators of the project.

Relevance. In the second half of the 19th century, there was a noticeable increase in the interest of citizens in museums, which is confirmed by the preserved historical documents. The plots presented in the article make it possible to understand the principles and directions of work of collectors in the cities of the Irkutsk province. As a result of the study of objects, the creation of art, ethnographic collections of museum funds, the research capabilities of scientists are expanding. The purpose is to trace the process of organizing the work of collectors in the cities of the Irkutsk province to develop the museum space as a center of the scientific community in the second half of the 19th century. Objectives: to identify documents from the collections of the archives of Irkutsk, which give an idea of the main stages in the formation of thematic areas of museum collections; follow the work of collectors as part of scientific teams in the creation and design of expositions and exhibition spaces; consider the areas of work of collectors in the acquisition of museum collections; determine the role of collectors in understanding the significance of museums for the development of Siberian society and the study of the region. Methodology. When writing the article, the following are included: the principle of historicism, objectivity, scientific character, problem-chronological and historical-genetic methods. Results. In the collections of the archives of Irkutsk there are documents that confirm the versatile work of col-lectors to maintain the museum business. In the second half of the 19th century, there was an increased interest of citizens in museums as scientific and educational centers for the study of the cultural and natural wealth of the region. Conclusions. Collectors of the Irkutsk province unite in the process of holding events organized by various museum spaces. The involvement of many citizens in significant exhibition and educational projects confirms that the public participated in the creation of museums. An increased interest in the study of the region was manifested as a result of determining the importance of museums for the development of society. Documents about the museum at the East Siberian Department of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society made it possible to restore the work of collectors.

FROM THE HISTORY OF MUSEUMS OF THE IMPERIAL NOVOROSSIYA UNIVERSITY: FORMATION, ACTIVITY AND FATE

An attempt was made to illuminate the history of the formation and functioning of the museum network of the Imperial Novorossiya University (1865–1920) on the basis of scientific literature, published documents and historical sources for the first time introduced into scientific circulation. The article solved the legislative and organizational foundations of the formation of the museum business at the university, describes the activities of the leaders and employees of the university museums in the acquisition, processing, storage, exhibiting and use of museum collections in the scientific and educational process. The activity, profile and departmental affiliation of museums, their funding and sources of funds formation are characterized. The funds of the museums were divided into expositional, educational and scientific, and in the distribution of emphasis between these complexes, more attention was paid to the scientific and educational significance of the acquired artifacts. All the heads of the museum were representatives of the teaching staff of the faculties of the university. They played a leading role in the educational, methodological, scientific and organizational activities of museums. Their scientific heritage is part of the genesis of many branches of science. In the activities of museums, there were recessions and ups, caused, first of all, by the instability of funding from the leadership of the university. The dependence on random circumstances and the frequent change of regular staff led to the unevenness of their development. Foremost, the situation was saved by donations received both from representatives of the teaching staff, patrons and benefactors, and from ordinary citizens, which testifies to the public’s concern for the fate of the museums of the leading university in the south of the Russian Empire. It has been established that, thanks to the successful organization and systematic work of their managers and employees, museums of INU have significantly expanded the range of their actions and influence on educational and scientific processes from year to year, thereby making a significant contribution to the development of national museology. The closure of the university in 1920 and the subsequent reorganization of museums caused irreparable damage to the process of cultural development. As a result of the reorganization of the entire network of cultural and educational institutions, museums underwent a radical transformation in 1923.

УНИВЕРСИТЕТСКИЕ УСТАВЫ КАК ЗАКОНОДАТЕЛЬНАЯ ОСНОВА МУЗЕЙНОГО ДЕЛА В РОССИЙСКИХ УНИВЕРСИТЕТАХ (XIX – НАЧАЛО XX в.)

For the first time in the museum literature, the article traces the influence of university charters on the museum business in Russian universities in the XIX – early XX century. Using the original act documents extracted from the “Complete Collection of Laws of the Russian Empire”, the author showed that the charter of 1804 and all subsequent legislative acts provided for the formation of auxiliary educational institutions in universities – offices, assemblies, anatomical theaters. It is particularly stipulated that the charter of 1804 did not use the term “museum”, since it was not widely used in Russia at that time. In the act documents at the beginning of the XIX century, the word “cabinet” was used, which was in some sense a synonym for it and was used in the sense of storage, collection. But the work prescribed by legislative acts on the selection, description and preservation of exhibits, tools, and other objects necessary for teaching, allows us to talk about the birth of museum functions in universities. Starting in 1835, the charters introduced the term “museum”, they expanded the list of educational materials and aids. Taking into account the obvious lack of knowledge on the subject under study, the author gives the entire list of educational and auxiliary institutions listed in the statutes. These are the cabinets: physical, mineralogical, botanical, zoological, technological, and the collection of machines and models for applied mathematics, collections – architectural models, pharmacological, surgical instruments, obstetrical instruments, anatomical theater and collection of exhibits, zootomic theater, and collection of exhibits, as well as the Museum of Fine Arts and Antiquities. The statutes prescribe ways to replenish university collections, including through the unhindered discharge of benefits from abroad. In the university charters and staff schedules attached to the charters, it was mandatory to specify monetary amounts, determine their distribution for the maintenance of offices and museums, as well as the heads and general staff of these university departments. The article emphasizes that the charter of 1863 spelled out in detail the procedure for approving the position of curators of cabinets and museums, and in addition, their pension provision was separately prescribed. The charter of 1884 provides an expanded list of university museums, establishes the number of employees, and addresses issues of museum management. At the end of the article, it is quite appropriate to conclude that the university charters defined the legislative foundations of the museum business in Russian universities of the XIX-early XX century

Study, Preservation and Museumification of the Berel Necropolis Monuments at the Present Stage

Currently, state programs aimed at the cultural and spiritual development of society have been updated in our country. This cultural policy of the state contributes to the further active development of both museum business and archaeological science. A striking example is the Berel museum complex, which is recognized as a unique monument of archeology and is developing rapidly, which accordingly contributes to the development of the region. Conferences with the results of archaeological research are held annually, where the data of surveys of a certain field season are given, all these surveys are necessarily covered in the media, it is planned to print fundamental works that will contain knowledge about significant historical monuments of the region, among which the Berel necropolis will undoubtedly take its rightful place. However, while the results of the museum’s activities for the entire period of its existence have not been summed up, for this reason, this article will attempt to summarize the results of the painstaking work of archaeologists who have been studying the monuments of the Valley of the Kings for many years, and the museum staff who stood at the origins of the museum complex development, also identified targets for the further development of the Berel reserve-museum in the research, popularization and museum spheres of activity. The main materials on field research of the archaeological complex were collected, published by the participants of the expeditions themselves, the museum staff took a direct part in field work, and data on the work of the museum-reserve in such areas of activity as exposition and exhibition, museum and popularization were collected. All the collected materials, together with the information obtained on the Internet, covering the active marketing activities of the museum, allow us to see a certain holistic picture of the museum complex development. It is obvious that the joint work of archaeologists and museum staff has yielded excellent results in the form of a modern museum complex with a developed infrastructure, which is interesting for both internal and external tourists, contributes to the development of the region in economic and tourist terms, and the development of society in spiritual terms.

SYNTHETIC TERMS OF UKRAINIAN MUSEUM SCIENCE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE POLYSEMY PHENOMENON

We have analyzed the phenomenon of polysemy in the Ukrainian term system of museum business, described the main types of ambiguity of synthetic terms of professional language of museum officers, classified ambiguous terms units by different criteria and identified specifics of their semantic structure. In the modern terminology of museum work, there is a clear tendency to unambiguous terms. However, we have a significant number of units that can nominate several concepts in this term system that was identified also in many others. The ambiguous units include exhibition, gallery, museum, museology, index, restoration, etc. The group of three-digit terms consists of the following units: museography, sudok, etc. The four-digit terms in museology occur in isolated cases, e.g. act, etc. Three types of polysemy were identified in the studied terminological system based on the analysis of the semantic structure of the multivalued terminological units present in the terminological system. They are: intrasystemic (it could appear as a result of metonymic transfers of names in the terminology of the museum case («collection of something – institution that keeps such a collection»: herbarium, etc .; device – a building that has such a device”: planetarium, etc.) and metaphorical nomination (office – a room in the house or apartment for classes, business conversations, etc. / variety of museum furniture, etc.), intersystem (intersectoral) (deposit (in museology, economics), exposition (in museology, geography), shield (in museology, geology), etc.), and externally systemic (donation, dating) polysemy. According to the structural composition, the derivative and non-derivative term units are distinguished among the multi-valued synthetic terms of the professional language of museology. They are: a) terms – root units: act, gallery, legend, museum, shield, etc .; b) derived terms – units formed by suffixation or prefixation: exhibition, subtext, etc.; c) complex terms: gallery-museum, lecturer-guide, museology, museography, etc. The analysis of ambiguous synthetic terms of museum business indicates their distribution in this terminology, despite the fact that polysemy is an undesirable phenomenon for term systems in general, that was evidenced by the requirements for «ideal» terms.

РАЗВИТИЕ НАУЧНО-ИССЛЕДОВАТЕЛЬСКОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ В МУЗЕЯХ ОМСКОЙ ОБЛАСТИ В 1960–1980-х гг.

Today, there are a number of scientific publications devoted to specific aspects of the activities of Omsk museums in the period of 1960-1980. However, their availability did not lead to the solution of the problem of comprehensive study of Museum development in the Omsk region. The author of the article set the goal – to trace the development of research activities in museums of the Omsk region over a whole stage in the history of museum business. This manifested the scientific novelty of the study. The basis of the sources involved was the documents of the historical archive of the Omsk region (record-keeping and reporting documentation), state and party regulatory documents, the results of studies of predecessors in this matter, museographic sources. The analysis was based on the local-historical method, which made it possible to specify historical circumstances that influenced quantitative and qualitative changes. The historical-typological method allowed to systematize data on types of research activities on the types of research activities that is practiced in the museums of the region in 1960–1980-ies. The article focuses on the period that can be described as the most dynamic in the development of museums and museum network of the country. The museums were given the status of scientific institutions at the state level, measures have been taken to improve the organization of research work. It is found that the main types of research work in museums of the Omsk region in 1960–1980s were the development of scientific topics according to the thematic-expositional plans of the expositions and exhibitions; compilation of museum guides for exhibitions and expositions; development of texts of excursions, lectures, and texts for television and radio programmes; preparation of scientific articles by results of the conducted research; preparation of materials of methodological nature; organization and participation in scientific conferences; expeditionary trips to the districts of Omsk region; study of museum collections. The article reveals the specifics and directions of development of this activity, specify the reasons influencing its intensity. The conclusion is that the research activity was carried out deliberately and systematically turned into a basis that is firmly associated with all activities of the museum. Thanks to the productive activity and attention from the management and staff of the museums to research work was able to bring it to a higher level of development.

Михайловские Пушкинские чтения – 2020: «…во славу Руси ратной…»

The Mikhailovskoe Pushkin readings, held in the State Museum-Reserve of A. S. Pushkin “Mikhailovskoe” in 2020, were dedicated to the next anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s arrival in exile to Mikhailovskoe and another significant and very relevant date in the context of modern events — the 200th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin’s visit to the Crimea. At the same time, we are taking into account that 2020 is marked by the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic war, to which the peoples of our multi-ethnic Fatherland made a decisive contribution. The Great Victory is the result of unprecedented feat of our fathers and grandfathers, and this feat is a natural achievement of the centuries — old heroic history of Russia and spiritual development of its peoples. The events of 75 years ago, filled with tragedy and epic grandeur, are experienced with special fullness throughout this year. They defined the cross-cutting content of the conference. The theme of the readings made it possible to recall and comprehend heroic pages of our Fatherland`s history, reflected both in works of folk art and documents, written testimonies, literary sources, and in the work by A. S. Pushkin, writers of his generation, formed in the process of “opening Russian history” and understanding it in the context of the Patriotic war of 1812. During the Readings participants also discussed the problems of museum business, new archival publications, issues of cinema and its reception in a modern cultural space.

Museum as the basis of the “school”: Dusseldorf Art Gallery and the Dusseldorf school of painting

The article demonstrates the influence of the Dusseldorf Art Gallery (1714–1805) on the formation of the Dusseldorf school of painting — one of the leading European schools of the XIX century. The history of the establishment and formation of the collection is briefly considered, and the activities of the founder of the art gallery, Johann Wilhelm (1658–1716), as a reformer of the museum business are characterized. The collection is analyzed, and a significant predominance of works of the Dutch school is noted as its special feature. The author points out that the gallery was primarily a learning center for artists studying at the Dusseldorf Academy of Arts (1773). After Dusseldorf became a part of the Kingdom of Prussia, a new stage began and the gallery was transformed into the Royal Academy of Arts. This happened in 1819, which is officially considered the year when the Dusseldorf school of painting was born. It is noted that the influence of the Dusseldorf school extended far beyond European borders, including Russia and particularly Saratov where the artist A. P. Bogolyubov founded the Radishevsky Museum. He came up with the idea of creating a museum while studying in Dusseldorf. The example of the Dusseldorf Gallery demonstrates the importance of the museum as a collection of samples, the basis for the emergence of the “school” in two meanings — an educational institution and the development of an artistic tradition.

ROLE OF MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN MUSEUM EXPOSITION

The article is an attempt to reconsider the theoretical postulates related to multimedia in museum business through the prism of the exhibition experiences gained by the Ural Regional Institute of Museum Projects. The main issues raised in the article are the classification of digital technologies, their interaction with other elements of the exposition, the potential of using IT-technologies in museum space. The staff of the Institute review their mistakes made in project work, combining theory and practice. The most serious shortcomings in the creation of exhibitions with multimedia technologies are considered to be visual disharmony against the general design of the museum space, lack of multimedia technology unity and disengagement of digital technologies from the scientific concept. Consideration is also given to the current state of museum business in the current context of overall digitalization.

Оценка туристско-рекреационного потенциала Подмосковья в целях развития этнографического туризма

the article aims to assess the tourist and recreational potential of the Moscow region, identify the prerequisites and analyze the factors that limit the development of ethnographic tourism in the Moscow region. When working on the article, reference materials were used, due to the recreational development of the Moscow region; statistical data of state organizations and the results of expert assessments of the development of ethnographic tourism. Research methods: systematization and generalization of information; content analysis; logical analysis. Monitoring of the tourist and recreational potential of the Moscow region, analysis of the resource base allowed us to assess the existing problems and suggest possible solutions. The prerequisites for the development of ethnographic tourism in the region are determined, the place and specifics of ethnographic tourism in tourist flows are revealed; the place and role of the Moscow region in the development of ethnographic tourism in the Russian Federation is justified. As a result of the study, the trends in the development of ethnographic tourism were identified and the areas of its most promising development in the Moscow region were identified. The results obtained contribute to the development of museum and exhibition business and folk crafts in the region, the popularization of ethnographic tourism in the Internet space, which ultimately provides an increase in the tourist flow in the Moscow region, and also allows you to create additional jobs in the tourism sector.

Kirov, has received a second life, thanks to friendly scientific relations between Military medical Academy and the University of Leiden. The unique collection of anatomical preparations, which Peter I called The Eighth wonder of the world, was created by the great Dutch anatomist, doctor of medicine, Professor of anatomy and botany at the University of Amsterdam F. Ruysch. A large collection was acquired by Peter I in 1717 specifically to the future of the Kunstkammer (now the Museum of Peter the Great) and taken to Russia under the supervision of the first President of the Petersburg Academy of Sciences L.L. Blumentrost. Small collection of F. Ruysch was presented to Peter I in the late seventeenth century (1697). It has withstood more than 300-year storage period. Numerous movements and different storage conditions, of course, left its mark on the appearance of these precious unique anatomical specimens. The last event of violations were associated with the early repair of the anatomical building of the Military medical Academy.We must pay tribute to the enthusiasm and unselfishness of the staff of Leiden University headed by a great friend of Russia I.F. Hendriks, who was able to organize a team of professionals in the Museum business. This team included the head of Leiden University, Professor P.C.W. Hodendoorn and specialist in restoration and percussively anatomical preparations A.J. Van Dam. Hard work was multi-stage. First conducted a thorough verification of anatomical specimens of F. Ruysch with the existing directories of the Departments records. Identification of the preparations to the F. Ruysch collection was carried out by the appearance of containers, labels, appearance of preparations, the study of embalming fluid. Photo documentation of each study drug was accompanied by reports signed bilateral commission. After pre-treatment the special chemicals and equipment were delivered, and conducted direct work on restoration and percussively. It lasted 10 days. Members of the Department received a unique master class on the restoration of wet embalmed museum anatomical specimens, and received recommendations for their storage.

Big Data Technology in Museum Exhibition Digitization

Today, museums have become a very important part of people’s lives. In the exhibition of cultural relics, the level of display technology is directly related to the development and service quality of museums. With the development of science and technology, the exhibition activities of museums are gradually developing towards intelligence, networking and digitization. Big data technology plays an important role in the digital construction of museums and is widely used in museum business. This paper studies the digital museum which uses digital technology to display cultural relics and the application of big data technology in digital museum. In order to better understand the application of big data technology in museum exhibitions and its help, this paper carried out a survey in a digital exhibition museum with big data technology, counted the flow of people in the museum before and after the application of big data technology, and formulated a questionnaire to investigate the feelings of museum staff and visitors on the application. The results show that big data technology can effectively improve the effect of Museum digital exhibition.
