Artificial intelligence in steering the digital transformation of collaborative technical education

In recent years, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been a leader in the global adoption of AI and online schooling. Despite using the traditional educational structure, military colleges have embraced this new technology. This research analyzed the present adoption rate, difficulties, and solutions for implementing an AI-based online education system. The results demonstrate that digital technology has a tangible impact on all facets of higher education if it is supported by the institution. The results also indicate that the organization plays a crucial role in the integration of digital technology into teaching and learning, and that an examination of the materiality already present in the Collaborative Technical Education (CTE) organization is necessary for comprehending the potential effects of new digital technology. Finally, this paper addressed how AI can make e-learning more interesting, efficient, and tailored to each individual learner, all of which contribute to better learning outcomes and wider access to technical education. The details of how artificial intelligence can be used to promote diversity and equity in the classroom are laid out. To motivate educators to create mixed-reality artifacts and conduct further research to support collaborative educational environments, this article discusses current works and visualizes the current state of the field.

Knowledge control in informatics in military and civilian universities

The article provides a comparative analysis of the results of learning control in higher military and civilian universities. The analysis and comparison of control methods of testing were used. It was found that even the simplest paper-based tests allow effective comparative assessment of knowledge and provide a much deeper differentiation of knowledge assessment than the five-point grading system.The cheapness and efficiency of the test used at Krasnodar Air Force Institute for Pilots are achieved by dividing it into three parts: a questionnaire, a response sheet, and a test stencil. The questionnaire is a reusable document, and the response sheet is small in size.The use of basic Microsoft Office programs in the test showed that the mastery of these programs among students is increasing year by year. It turned out that the mastery of these programs depends little on the main process of learning.When checking the knowledge in the field of computer science, the primary testing is basic. But in general, the control of residual knowledge with the help of testing can objectively establish the effectiveness of teaching any subject.The article conducted a mathematical analysis of the test results and plotted probability density plots, which were approximated by a smooth mathematical function. This clear view of the distribution of the indicator leads to an understanding of how well the knowledge is learned by students.

A comprehensive simulator for training and improving grenade throwers

Passing the initial training, as well as training cadets and the correct aiming of the target from them. The author sets goals and objectives for the comprehensive improvement of the lesson "fire training " and shows ways to solve it. Raises questions of the use of modern technical simulators in the system of mastering the course of fire training in military universities. To date, the grenade launcher provides modern support for the base of theoretical materials on a complex simulator. Substantiates the need to introduce more technical simulators using simulators in the process of training cadets in the discipline of fire training. The applicant offers a methodology of ways to teach cadets effective skills of using a grenade launcher.

Study of a vertical gravity gradient at the MUT area

Any object on the globe, in addition to the gravitational force, is affected by the force associated with the rotation of the Earth, i.e., the centrifugal force, which together define the force of gravity. Due to various factors, both external (the influence of other celestial bodies) and internal (the inhomogeneous internal structure of the Earth), the gravity depends on the location and time of observation. The study on gravity is made possible by using extremely sensitive measuring devices called gravimeters, which are a branch of physical geodesy called geodetic gravimetry. Geodetic gravimetry is widely used in geodesy to study the shape of the geoid and the realisation of gravimetric control networks or in geophysics to detect mineral deposits, underground watercourses or caves. However, in order to obtain reliable results, it is necessary not only to measure the gravity accurately, but also to reduce these measurements adequately. This is possible by determining, among other things, the vertical gravity gradients (VGG), which are used to reduce the measured gravity values to any reference level. In our research, we focused on analysing the change in the value of VGGs in the closed area of the Military University of Technology (MUT). We used 33 points of the existing vertical and horizontal networks of the MUT for measurements. We performed the observations using ZLS Burris model B-67 spring gravimeter at several heights in the range of 0.1 m to 1.3 m using a specially constructed tripod. We showed that the values of the vertical gradients vary over the selected area from ‒0.2534 mGal/m to ‒0.3917 mGal/m. The obtained results show consistency with the spatial distribution of changes of the topography of the terrain, the density of the Earth’s crust, and the type of geological formations present beneath the surface. In the study, we also showed the relevance of using the actual (measured) values of gradients to analyse geoid-to-quasigeoid separation. We have shown that taking the actual gradient values instead of their average (or modelled) values results in deviations in modelling the separation of both geodetic reference surfaces of up to 2 mm in the study area.Keywords: gravity, vertical gravity gradient, gravimetry, geoid-quasigeoid separation

ПОДХОДЫ К ФОРМИРОВАНИЮ ГРАЖДАНСКОЙ ИДЕНТИЧНОСТИ КУРСАНТОВ ВЕДОМСТВЕННОЙ ОБРАЗОВАТЕЛЬНОЙ ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ: НАЧАЛО ИССЛЕДОВАНИЯ

The training of qualified military personnel depends on many factors, among which one of the most important is the development of the technology for the formation of the personal qualities of a professional, the orientation of his personality, precisely his civilian identity. The leading role belongs to course officers who, in the process of educational work, form the professional and pedagogical competencies of cadets of a military university.

Procedure for Identifying Negative Emotional States in Military Personnel

Objective: The development of a paradigm for enhancing the emotional state of service members and a method for identifying their negative states as a result of psychological stresses is of the utmost importance in the context of today’s pressing issues. To that end, the purpose of this study is to develop and subjectively test the effectiveness of a procedure for identifying negative emotional states in service members (cadets from Kazakhstan’s military institutes). Materials and methods: A two-stage procedure is proposed to identify a risk group for negative emotional states. The methodology for identifying negative emotional states is divided into two stages: screening and deep. Results and discussion: It will be discussed how the algorithm performed when tested on a sample of cadets from two military universities in Kazakhstan. According to the results, nearly all the people in the sample studied (approximately 95%) exhibited relatively positive indicators of psychological health, including low levels of depression, aggression, and anxiety. Negative emotional states were present in 5% of the service members. Additional ongoing dynamic assessment and monitoring of the risk group is required. Conclusion: The obtained results provide sufficient evidence to discuss how the proposed algorithm could be used. The research has practical value because it can be used to implement the applied method at training ranges in the contemporary military era. Conscious or Indifferent - Concerns on Digitalization and Sustainability of the Military Higher Education Institution

Abstract University sustainability is a topical concept, which tries through complex approaches regarding the integration of the valences of the economic - social - environment, to create a new strategic model of adapting the organization to the environment and to a context characterized by change, dynamism, and innovation. Achieving sustainability at university level involves identifying methods and tools to underpin development strategies and through which the objectives specific to the functioning of each organization can be achieved. In an era marked by the intensification of the use of technology and digitalization of systems and processes used at the organization level, the question arises about the opportunity of digitizing them as a prospect of achieving sustainability at the organization level. Starting from this reality, the present paper aims to identify the extent to which at the level of a military university the valences of sustainability are known and harnessed in the processes taking place at its level. In this regard, a quantitative analysis was conducted, based on the completion of a questionnaire, which aimed to assess the perception of students who are studying at the bachelor programs organized at “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy in Sibiu, regarding sustainability and digitalization at the level of the organization.

Teaching Russian to Cadets in the Military Universities in China

The aim of the study is to present linguistic and cultural analysis of modern methods and practices used in the process of teaching Russian language to cadets in military universities of the People's Republic of China. The task of the work is to determine the requirements for teaching Russian language to cadets of military universities, to identify the advantages and disadvantages of the existing education system, as well as the difficulties that arise in the process of comprehending Russian language. The relevance of the research topic is dictated by the communication growth between Russia and China, which requires philologists with a good knowledge of Russian. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study presents a set of applied methods of logic, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. It is determined that in the course of teaching Russian language, Chinese cadets of military universities comprehend it in two stages at the basic and advanced levels. It has been established that the main emphasis in the learning process is focused on practical and colloquial comprehension of Russian. It was revealed that in the learning process cadets have an apportunity to study the cultural diversity of Russia, which improves the quality of teaching Russian. It has been established that improving and expanding language skills are set as the tasks for cadets and students of Chinese military universities in order to increase the level of their competence. In particular, the skills of correct reading for understanding current news in Russian press prevail on the perception of complex popular science articles and fiction. In addition, they are to pay attention to listening activities to understand news on politics, diplomacy, economics and society in the media, such as, for example, radio, the Internet and television; understand audio materials, taking into account all the difficulties that arise, similar to ones they face studying the contents of a textbook.

The Features of Teaching Russian Language to Foreign Cadets and Military Personnel in Russian Military Universities

The purpose of the article is to analyze modern approaches (integrative, linguoculturallogical, system-linguistic, functional) used in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language to cadets and military personnel who came from abroad to Russian military universities. The task of the work is to determine the humanitarian tools that serve to improve the quality of teaching Russian language among foreign cadets and military personnel. The relevance of the proposed study is determined by the communication and technological transformations taking place in modern society, which offers direct and indirect communication (the Internet) for a large number of military personnel with different interests. The theoretical and methodological foundation of the work presents a set of applied methods of logic, analysis and synthesis. It has been established that the practical and intellectual demand for the use of Russian language increases while training, which is especially important in the ongoing modern processes of globalization of the world and the growth of professional interests. It has been determined that under these conditions, Russian language teaching to foreign cadets and military personnel gains a great importance as a mean of communication and generalization of cultural and spiritual heritage. It was revealed that when implementating educational tasks and increasing the level of competence, students and cadets are offered text materials of different styles and genres, for example, artistic, scientific, official business, journalistic, colloquial style of texts.

Shaping leadership at the Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw - recommendations for improving the process

In the previous research, it was determined how leadership competencies are shaped in selected foreign military academies, ie the American Military Academy West Point (USMA) and Theresian Military Academy in Austria (TMA). This article presents the methods and ways of shaping leadership competencies at the Military University of Land Forces in Wroclaw (MULF). The collected data were the basis for comparing the education process of candidates for officers between MULF and selected foreign universities. Thanks to this, areas that can be improved by implementing solutions taken from foreign universities, with the use of certain modifications taking into account the specificity of the Polish Armed Forces, were identified.

Focus on The Integration of Military and Civilian to Promote the In-depth Development of Information Teaching

At present, civil-military integration provides a historic opportunity for creating world-class military colleges and universities. With the help of the "fast track" of civil-military integration, vigorously promoting the reform of information teaching mode of colleges and universities is a necessary guarantee for cultivating first-class equipment maintenance and support talents. Information-based teaching model is a new teaching model which conforms to modern teaching requirements and is the inevitable requirement of education and teaching reform. In this paper, what is information-based teaching and what are the main ways of information-based teaching mode under the condition of civil-military integration; Under the condition of high development of science and technology, how to use new teaching methods to promote the in-depth development of information teaching in colleges and universities.

The concept of a mobile automated diagnostic and dynamometer station for heavy trucks

Trucks are a key element that performs transport functions in many sectors of human activity. This makes ensuring their proper maintenance and performance critical. One of the solutions to this problem is the concept of a mobile automated testing and testing station. A mobile diagnostic and dynometric station based on a 6-foot container was built at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. This bench is a self-contained unit that can be transported to various locations and carry out on-site testing and diagnostics of heavy trucks. The station is equipped with a fully open system and software that can accurately measure the performance and efficiency of the truck's engine and driveline and enforce specific automated diagnostic processes analogous to quality control tests during the production process. This information can then be used to make informed maintenance and repair decisions, helping to minimize downtime and increase overall vehicle life. The mobile diagnostic and dynamic station also provides a convenient and cost-effective alternative to traditional off-site testing methods, making it a valuable tool for transport companies and fleet managers.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE EXPERIENCE OF TIME AND THE LEVEL OF NEURO-MENTAL STRESS IN MILITARY UNIVERSITY CADETS

Background. The article discusses the problem of psychological health safety of military university cadets, defined in the study through the concept of neuro-psychic tension. The content of the cadets’ attitude to time as a personal correlate of psychological health is analyzed.
 Materials and methods. To study the attitude to time, Wasserman’s «Semantic Time Differential» and F. Zimbardo ZTPI techniques are used. To measure the level of neuro-psychic tension, an abbreviated version of the MMPI technique and a method for measuring the level of neuropsychic stability are used. Statistical methods (Mann-Whitney comparative analysis, cluster analysis) were used in the processing. The study was conducted at the Novosibirsk Military Institute of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation on a sample of 172 cadets.
 Results. The study shows statistically significant differences in the characteristics of the time perspective and the semantic content of the attitude to time between cadets with different levels of neuro-psychic tension.
 Conclusion. It is concluded that there is a nonlinear relationship between the studied characteristics according to the principle of «optimum»: the optimal indicators of the attitude to time correspond to the normal (average) level of neuro-psychic tension.

Особенности реализации дополнительной профессиональной программы «Переводчик в сфере профессиональной коммуникации» в военных образовательных организациях высшего образования

The aim of the study is to identify the specifics of implementation of the supplementary professional training programme “Translator in the sphere of professional communication” in military educational institutions of higher education. The authors propose a scientific justification of organisational approaches to goal-setting, selection and structuring of education content, among which education professionalisation is considered one of the most important. The scientific novelty of the study lies in clarifying the notion of “professionalisation”, in identifying the main aspects, stages and techniques of professionalisation in the training of translators in military aviation universities to obtain additional professional knowledge and form the professionally significant qualities of a military translator. As a result, a model of professionally oriented training of translators, which guarantees the success and effectiveness of language training of technical specialists in a military university, has been presented.

КЛАСТЕРНЫЙ АНАЛИЗ КАК ИНТЕГРАТОР РАЗНЫХ МЕТОДИК ОЦЕНКИ ФИЗИЧЕСКОГО РАЗВИТИЯ ПРАКТИЧЕСКИ ЗДОРОВЫХ ЛИЦ ЮНОШЕСКОГО ВОЗРАСТА

The influence of external factors can significantly deviate the distribution of somatotypes from the indicators of the general population, which makes researchers select the most suitable scheme of so-matotyping from the already known ones or construct their own. Applicants of military universities are a particular case of such samples, formed as a result of a complex of factors, including the work of military medical commissions. The aim was to use cluster analysis to develop an integrative classifica-tion for assessing the physical development of practically healthy adolescents. Materials and meth-ods. The object of the study was 280 applicants (234 boys and 46 girls), who were examined by spe-cialists in the medical commissions of military commissariats and were considered to be practically healthy. Anthropometric data were analyzed: body length, body weight, length of the torso, limbs, girth dimensions of the torso and limbs, as well as body component composition. Hierarchical cluster analysis by the Ward method and Kendall's correlation coefficient were used in the study. Results. By means of cluster analysis of the physical development indicators of the virtually healthy individuals, we identified a significant contribution of body mass index, weight, body length in the formation of three major groups, which we characterized as: the male macrosomatic phenotype, the male mesoso-matic phenotype, and the female phenotype. Based on the proportion of muscle and fat tissue, visceral fat, distal diameter of the forearm as an indicator of bone development, body mass index and thick-ness of the skin-fat fold of the anterior abdominal wall, the following subgroups were identified: male macrosomatic phenotype, with hyperstenic features, male macrosomatic phenotype, with normosthen-ic features, male mesosomatic phenotype with digestive features, male mesosomatic phenotype with mesotonic features, male mesosomatic muscle phenotype, female megalosomic athletic and subathletic phenotype, female stenoplastic phenotype. Conclusion. The used statistical approach allows to change the classical paradigm of searching for a universal methodology of somatotyping, to the creation of algorithms of compilation of well-known schemes of physical development evaluation in the selected population groups.

Гибридная модель обучения как составляющая интегративного подхода для формирования универсальных компетенций курсантов военного ВУЗа при изучении иностранного языка

the article raised the question of the emergence of diverse views on the concepts of "hybrid," "hybridization," "hybrid learning" and the processes they call in higher education, as well as the directions of application of these one-root words that arose in connection with this multitude, the need to figure out what is and whether such names are legitimate for transformational processes in modern pedagogy. In addition, emphasis was placed on the merits and disadvantages of each process and what contradictions arise in connection with the use of hybrid forms in higher educational institutions.
 The study presents the author's hybrid model of interaction, with the help of which universal competencies are formed among cadets of the Branch of the Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces (FVA Strategic Missile Forces) named after Peter the Great when studying a foreign language. A description is given of each component of the hybrid model of interaction, as well as the peculiarities of its application depending on specific situations, external factors, training of cadets at the initial stage of training, assessment of their capabilities and time frames of training. The hybrid model is considered in the view of the integrative approach in the educational process of a military university, the definition of the integrative approach is given and the relation of the hybrid model to this approach is specified.
 The subject of research is the concept of hybridization in the field of higher education.
 The purpose of this study is to create an idea of new terms and describe various views, meanings, scientific approaches, the evolution of the concepts of "hybrid," "hybridization," "hybrid learning," "hybrid model" which are associated with education, ways of transferring new knowledge and their connection with the main tool - language as a means of communication and knowledge exchange. Theoretical research is carried out in the field of higher education, the purpose of the research is also to reflect its point of view regarding the above names, which have recently been of particular relevance in the educational environment, especially if the educational process takes place in a military institution for the training of future officers, in particular, the study of the foreign (English) language of specialized areas in a non-linguistic university of the Peter the Great Strategic Missile Forces will be considered.
 Finally, a summary table of all the described concepts of hybridization is presented and a conclusion is made about the nature of the emergence of hybridization in education and its relevance to date.

Impact du tabagisme sur la présence de la cardiomyopathie diabétique

IntroductionType 2 diabetes is associated with an increased risk of coronary disease and is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in this population. The main objective of our work is to study the correlation of left atrial volume index with coronary disease in type 2 diabetics. Material and methodsCross-sectional, analytical, single-center study with prospective recruitment of 330 type 2 diabetic patients carried out at the Constantine Regional Military University Hospital over a period of 03 years (2016-2018) among which 18.8% (62 patients) are smokers. Early cardiac involvement represented by diastolic dysfunction was assessed by two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiography. Data were analyzed using Epi info 7.2.1.0 software to study the impact of smoking on the presence of left ventricular diastolic dysfunction. ResultsThe average age of our cohort is 52.7 ± 8.4 years, an average of 7.1 ± 1.3% of glycated hemoglobin, an average of 5.3 ± 4.3 years of diabetes duration, a sex ratio to 1.01. 34.8% of patients had left atrial volume index ≥ 34 ml/m2. The prevalence of coronary disease is 27.0%. In multivariate analysis; left atrial volume index is significantly correlated with coronary stenosis (OR = 1.75, 95% CI [1.60 - 2.05], p = 0.02). ConclusionThe prevalence of cardiomyopathy is high in type 2 diabetes and smoking is significantly correlated with the presence of this diabetic cardiomyopathy.

Between Ethics [Education] and Practices

ABSTRACT Involvement of senior commanders in bribery and sex scandals and deviations from ethical values and norms in operational units raises questions regarding the effectiveness of the learning mechanisms of ethics education in military colleges. The digression of those who are supposed to be role models from the professional and ethical point of view led to a series of studies on the subject. The review reveals that despite the establishment of an educational framework, there is still a lack of a clear strategy for the management of ethics education. The studies are mainly based on memorization and compliance with rules, and the methods do not properly develop critical thinking, nor do they impart applied knowledge on how to design an ethical organizational culture. The existing evaluation processes do not measure the effectiveness of the ethical programs on changing the ethical climate in the units. Addressing the gap between what is declared and what is done in practice requires a paradigm shift in ethics education and the initiation of an extensive strategic move to examine basic assumptions, goals and learning mechanisms. An outline for operative steps presented at the end of the article may help to lead the change.

Psychological constructs of the character of professional military men in the works of A.S. Pushkin

Understanding the sources of formation of the character of professional military personnel is an important task of pedagogical psychology, since it makes it possible to make the process of developing the personality of a serviceman in the pedagogical process of a military university more effective. An important source for the formation of character traits of a professional military officer is literary sources, artistic means of influencing personal structures. The subject of research in the article is the psychological properties of the individual, characteristic of the heroes of the works of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, who, according to the author's artistic conception, were professional soldiers. The writer's artistic work in a complex way constructs on the pages of his works the psychological features characteristic of professional military men. The author's knowledge in the work is based on the most popular literary works of A.S. Pushkin using a system-activity and axiological approach to understanding the development of personality. The author notes that a comprehensive study of the images of the domestic military intelligentsia from artistic heroes who have become independent carriers of psychological properties characteristic of domestic officers is an urgent scientific task for modern psychological knowledge, therefore this contradiction must be resolved. The theoretical generalizations obtained as a result of the study can be useful in organizing educational work with cadets, as well as in carrying out other forms of work with military personnel.
