Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pengelolaan Usaha Jamu dan Rempah di Bangkalan

Jamu is an Indonesian cultural heritage that has been used since prehistoric times to maintain health, increase body resistance, and prevent and treat disease. Apart from being a medicine, herbal medicine is also useful for preventing disease recurrence and supporting beauty, especially for women. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. The aim is to develop the concept of sensitivity to problems, explain the reality related to developing theory from below (grounded theory), and deepen understanding of the phenomena that occur. The research results show that herbal medicine businesses, especially those in the Small and Medium Industry (IKM) sector, experienced a decline in sales from 2019 to 2022. This decline was caused by the transition from traditional to modern organizational models, which had an impact on obstacles in the production process, both in terms of time , energy and costs. To support business continuity, it is recommended that the government provide laboratory testing facilities to ensure product safety and facilitate the processing of "Halal" and "BPOM" certification. This step is expected to increase consumer confidence and help business actors overcome existing challenges.

Implementasi Peraturan Bupati Nomor 41 Tahun 2016 tentang Pengelolaan Gerai dan Peberdayaan Industri Kecil dan Menengah di Kabupaten Tangerang

This study is about the Implementation of Regent Regulation Number 41 of 2016 Concerning Outlet Management and Empowerment of Small and Medium Industries in Tangerang Regency. The problems in this study include, the still minimal involvement of the small and medium industry business sector in supporting the implementation of policies, Socialization related to the existence and implementation of outlet management and empowerment of small and medium industries is still not optimal, promotion of small and medium industry products has not been carried out optimally, and cooperation has not been established with travel and travel agencies. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of Regent Regulation Number 41 of 2016 on outlet management and empowerment of small and medium industries in Tangerang Regency. The research method is qualitative. The theory used is the implementation of public policy according to Van Metter and Van Horn. The results of this study are that the implementation of Regent Regulation Number 41 of 2016 concerning Outlet Management and Empowerment of Small and Medium Industries in Tangerang Regency is not optimal.

ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERSEPSI PENGUSAHA UMKM TERHADAP LAPORAN KEUANGAN BERBASIS SAK ETAP DI KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR

The post-COVID-19 pandemic has impacted various sectors, one of which is Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), also causing a decline in the national economy. This research aims to empirically determine and test the influence of Business Turnover, Business Duration, Information Technology Utilization, and Accounting Comprehension on the Perception of MSME Entrepreneurs in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The sample of this study consists of 37 MSMEs in the small and medium industry sector in Tembilahan City District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the hypothesis test partially show that Business Turnover does not affect the Perception of MSME Entrepreneurs, while Business Duration, Information Technology Utilization, and Accounting Comprehension do affect the Perception of MSME Entrepreneurs about financial reports based on SAK ETAP in Indragiri Hilir Regency

ВПЛИВ МАЛОГО ТА СЕРЕДНЬОГО СЕКТОРІВ ПРОМИСЛОВОСТІ НА ЕКОНОМІЧНЕ ЗРОСТАННЯ ОБ’ЄДНАНИХ АРАБСЬКИХ ЕМІРАТІВ

A nation's socioeconomic growth is significantly impacted by its small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Jobs are created by small and medium-sized businesses, which also participate in international trade and compete with big businesses. Similar to this, in the UAE, small and medium-sized businesses play a significant role in economic development that is sustainable. The purpose of the article is to determine how small and medium-sized businesses affect economic growth in the United Arab Emirates. The subject of the study is small and medium industry sector and their influence on the economic growth of the United Arab Emirates. The methodological basis and information base of the research are current scientific and applied research, statistical information. The article uses a number of methods, including analysis, synthesis, comparison and generalization. The main hypothesis of the study was the assumption that the efficiency of economic management and the financial condition of the public sector depend on the quality of budget forecasting and planning, because they are the key to the sustainable development of socio-economic processes. Presenting main material. The results of the research method (Vector Error Correction Model VECM analysis) with the constant Dickey-Fuller test (ADF), the Johansen test for cointegration, the Granger test for causality, and the response function (IRF) for secondary data in time series for the period 1999-2019 showed that the variables of the number of firms were significantly correlated with the variables of the number of firms.The originality and practical significance of the research.Economic growth and small and medium-sized businesses are causally related in two ways. The results of the VECM analysis also demonstrate that in the short term there is a significant positive effect on the number of small and medium enterprises in lag-1 on Economic growth, in addition to the existence of a unidirectional and bidirectional causal relationship for the variable number of workers and economic growth in the United Arab Emirates.Conclusions. Economic growth, the number of small and medium-sized businesses, and their employee bases are all interconnected over the long term.

Uji Sifat Fisik dan Mikrobiologi Sediaan Lulur Krim yang Mengandung Serbuk Kopi serta Penentuan Aktivitas Antioksidannya

In 2017 the Ministry of Industry noted Indonesia’s cosmetics industry in the country out numbered to 760 companies. Further,95% of the industry is dominated by small to medium industrial sector, for this reason, in order to comply with international standards and certification bodies, it is necessary to guarantee the product quality. One of the product tested was a cream scrub containing coffee. Coffee has various chemical compounds that have antioxidant activity which plays a very important role in preventing premature aging. The product quality testing carried out is physical testing, microbiology and also the determination of antioxidant activity. From the prior tests, it was found that the pH of the preparation was 5.73 for the type of oil-in-water emulsion, the spreadability was 5.34 and 6.29 cm. Adhesion 11.10 seconds. The preparation meets all microbiological requirements and has an IC50% of 69.09 ppm.

PERAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP TERHADAP KINERJA IKM DI KABUPATEN GIANYAR (STUDI KASUS PADA IKM KERAJINAN PATUNG BATU PADAS)

The small and medium industry sector is a sector that has various roles in improving the economy in Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. Gianyar Regency is famous for its handicraft/artist culture that has the potential and contributes to the development of large, medium or small scale industries. The development of Small and Medium Industries (IKM) continues to increase. One of the small and medium industries that are of concern is the stone sculpture industry. Therefore, a research was conducted with the title of the role entrepreneurship on the performance of IKM in Gianyar Regency (a case study on IKM stone sculpture crafts). The purpose of this study was to determine the role entrepreneurship on the performance of IKM Batu Padas based on three factors, namely innovation, creativity and the ability to take risks on the performance of SMEs in Gianyar Regency. The type of research used in this research is the type of quantitative research using descriptive methods. The process of collecting research data using a questionnaire distribution technique to 55 respondents and processed using SPSS. The measurement scale used in this study is the Likert scale. Measurements for the independent and dependent variables use a scoring to assign a value to each alternative answer so that the data can be calculated. The results of this study indicate that innovation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of IKM in Gianyar Regency. Creativity has a positive and significant effect on the performance of IKM in Gianyar Regency, Risk has a positive and significant impact on the performance of IKM in Gianyar Regency, Innovation. Creativity and risk have a significant influence on the performance of the Batu Padas SMI in Gianyar district.

Analisis Produktivitas Tenaga Kerja Sektor Industri Besar Dan Sedang Daerah Kabupaten Dan Kota Provinsi Jawa Timur 2015-2019

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Labor Productivity of the Large and Medium Industrial Sector in the Regencies and Cities of East Java Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Regency and City of East Java Province in 2017-2019. The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that the Regency and City Minimum Wages, the average length of schooling have a significant positive effect on the Labor Productivity of the Large and Medium Industrial Sector, while the Human Development Index has a significant negative effect on the Labor Productivity of the Large and Medium Industrial Sector. East Java.

Evaluation of Budgeting Policy of the Ministry of Industry in Order to Improve the Performance of the Small and Medium Industrial Sector

Reform in the field of budgeting is characterized by a paradigm shift in the field of budgeting planning set out in law No. 17 of 2003 which is indicated by 3 (three) approaches, namely the implementation of integrated budgeting, the implementation of medium-term spending frameworks and the implementation of performance-based budgeting. But there are some problems encountered such as there are revisions to activities in the current budget year, performance-based budgets are so detailed in the planning stage but when accountability becomes administrative, the pattern of budget absorption that accumulates at the end of the year and the distribution of budgets that are not appropriate are part of the obstacles in improving the industrial sector. This research has the aim (1) of evaluating the suitability of budgeting of the Ministry of Industry with a budgeting approach; (2) Analyze spending activities at the Ministry of Industry that significantly affect the SMEs sector. The results showed that all the principles and components that make up the concept of integrated budgeting, performance-based budgeting and medium-term spending framework have basically been implemented by the Ministry of Industry in the preparation of work plans and budgets. The results of the double linear regression analysis showed that the realization of the Ministry of Industry's spending on HR development spending and technology spending significantly negatively affected the productivity shown performance in the SMEs sector. Managerial implications that can be given, namely the need for increased awareness and high commitment from all ranks in the Ministry of Industry in the implementation of performance-based budgeting systems through the provision of rewards and punishments at the internal level of the Ministry of SMEs. The Effect of Investment, District Minimum Wages, and Number of Small Medium Industry Units on Labor Employment: Empirical Study on The District/City Small Medium Industry Sector 2013 - 2019

Minimum Wages, Numbers of medium and small industry on Employment of small and medium Industry, in the city/district of the Special Region of Yogyakarta in 2013-2019. This research is based on secondary data, namely data sourced from the book of small and medium industry potential and publication of the Central Bureau of Statistics. The analysis tool used is panel data regression with the fixed effect model method. Based on the results of the study, the Investment has a positive and significant effect on the Employment of Small and Medium Industry, the Regional Minimum Wages has a negative and significant effect on the Employment of Small and Medium Industry, and the number of Small and Medium industry has a positive and significant effect on the Employment of Small and Medium Industry.

Determinants of Unemployment in the Large and Medium Industrial Sector in Indonesia

As a country with the second-highest unemployment rate, Indonesian policymakers should worry about this condition. Based on the macroeconomic perspective, unemployment is affected by the firms' labour demand. It highlights that the firm's profit or loss highly determines the labour force demand. Using the Fixed Effect Model, this study results show that the labour force significantly affects industrial output, and the changes of industrial output highly increase the labour demand in the market. However, foreign and domestic capital neither significantly reduce unemployment rate in Indonesia nor stimulate the large and medium industries to absorb labour in the market. The Government should utilize foreign and domestic capital efficiently as possible to reduce unemployment rate.

Digital Consumer Insight untuk Membangun Promosi bagi UKM di Lingkungan Tangerang Kota

Educational activities about digital consumer insight to build SME promotions in the Tangerang City environment are carried out to help micro and small-scale businesses in the Tangerang City environment to develop the businesses they run. This activity was attended by 22 participants and was held in Cibodas Village in March 2020. The method used is 1) counseling and introduction to online business development, especially regarding consumer behavior in the digital era, 2) education about the activities and stages that consumers go through in making purchase decisions on various online platforms, 3) tutorials for consumers targeting on online platforms, 4) tutorials on utilizing the results of analysis of consumer information to develop marketing communication strategies in online platforms, 5) interactive discussions, and 6) evaluation. In particular, business development is focused on promotional activities on online platforms by utilizing information about consumer behavior in the digital era. This information is the result of previous research on the "consumer journey on social media". The result of this community service activity is the development of participant understanding regarding consumer behavior on social media, increased understanding and ability of participants in utilizing various features and facilities of social media for business purposes, and increasing participants' ability to create business content on social media. In conclusion, it is known that community service activities aimed at increasing the understanding and technical capabilities of MSME actors need to be carried out and developed to support the empowerment of the micro, small, and medium industrial sector in Indonesia.

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA IBS PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR TAHUN 2019

Keberhasilan pembangunan ekonomi suatu negara dientukan oleh sumber daya manusianya, tetapi jumlah penduduk yang besar tidak selalu menjamin keberhasilan pembangunan bahkan dapat menjadi beban bagi keberlangsungan pembangunan apabila tidak dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Sektor industri selain berperan sebagai sektor utama dalam pembangunan ekonomi, juga berpotensi untuk menyerap tenaga kerja dalam jumlah yang besar. Namun faktanya Provinsi Jawa Timur belum dapat memenuhi hal tersebut, dimana penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri masih tertinggal dibandingkan dengan sektor pertanian dan perdagangan walaupun sektor industri merupakan leading sector dan kontributor PDRB terbesar Provinsi Jawa Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menggambarkan, dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja industri besar dan sedang di Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda (RLB). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa minimal terdapat satu variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri besar sedang Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019. Secara parsial, variabel jumlah perusahaan dan PDRB berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri besar sedang Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019. Sedangkan variabel UMK tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor industri besar sedang Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2019, karena peningkatan upah menjadi beban bagi perusahaan.

Tracing the Labor Absorption Rate in the Medium and Large Industrial Sectors

The high rate of population growth and the workforce raises the problem of job opportunities, because it involves various aspects both economic and non-economic. At the same time as massive industrialization, it is not automatically able to create adequate work. This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of the number of business units, the provincial minimum wage, and economic growth on the rate of labor absorption in the medium and large industrial sectors in South Sulawesi in the period 2010-2019. This research is expected to be one of the benchmarks for the government and private sector in paying attention to the absorption rate of labor in the industrial sector in South Sulawesi. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The data used in this study are time series data in the years 2010-2019. The results of this study indicate that (1) the number of business units has a positive and significant effect on the rate of employment in the industrial sector in the province of South Sulawesi, (2) the provincial minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on the rate of employment in the medium and large industrial sector in South Sulawesi, (3) economic growth has a significant effect in a negative direction on employment in the medium and large industrial sectors in South Sulawesi. The government should design an industrialization policy direction that should be more inclusive, the incoming investment should be based on empowering local workers, reducing unemployment, creating more expansive employment opportunities and synergizing local economic development.Keywords: Economic Growth; Industry; Labor; Wages.

Estimation of the Energy Saving Potentials in Foundry Industries Based on ISO 50001

This paper presents the application of tools to develop a procedure to estimate the energy saving potentials in a small foundry company in Colombia, based on the ISO 50001 standard. This work was carried within the framework of a national industrial project, funded by UNIDO, aimed at the small and medium industrial sector companies (SMEs) of Valle del Cauca, to establish the requirements that are needed to implement an energy management system. With the aim of increasing the energy efficiency of the processes, the energy planning process proposed by ISO 50001 is carried out, whose lead to the establishment of concrete and attainable goals, as well as to the proposal of various improvement plans regarding savings and efficient use of energy. As a result, the savings potentials for the different production levels were estimated, which represents a saving of 15984.25 kWh, which corresponds to 8.7% of the total energy consumed in the 10 months analyzed, and a value of 1486 USD.

Impact of Covid-19 on MSMES in India and Strategies for Revival of MSMES Post Covid-19

Today the entire world is under the grip of COVID19. It is impacting the global economy and creating atmosphere of uncertainty. This Pandemic has not spared any sector such as agriculture, corporate, medium and small industry and services sector. MSMEs are the backbone of the Indian economy was hit due to demonetization and GST implementation. In India COVID19 has battered all sectors of the economy MSMEs are the worst hit. MSMES are considered as a growth engine of the nation and they contribute 33.5% of India's manufacturing output, and giving employment to 121million people and generation 45% of India's exports. In this paper an attempt is made to identify the problems of MSMEs, and to study the impact of COVID19 on MSMEs. Another attempt is made to examine the measures taken by the government of India in MSMEs sectors to achieve the dream of self reliant India.

Monitoring Implementation Impact of the EU-Indonesia’s VPA on SME Livelihood

The Europe Union (E.U.) has agreed to grant the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) license to Indonesia as the first country in the world to receive it. FLEGT VPA (Voluntary Partnership Agreement) is a bilateral agreement between the European Union (E.U.) and wood exporting countries, to improve forest governance sector and ensure that timber and wood products imported into the E.U. are produced by the laws and regulation of partner countries. The Indonesian government has obliged to implement Article 12 relating to social safeguards. Indonesia has to periodically monitor to see the extent to which the VPA has an environmental and social impact that affect the lives and welfare of vulnerable and marginalised groups. The purpose of this study is to analyse how the effect of implementation of the Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (SVLK) as part of VPA in the small and medium forestry industry sector. Methodology survey with focus group discussions, structured interviews, and semistructured interviews to find out the response and opinion of SME’s owner and employee addressed the effect of SVLK in East Java and Central Java, Indonesia. The theory of change (ToC) was used to consider the implications of SVLK implementation on the sustainable livelihood of small and medium enterprises (SME’s). The results of this study showed that SVLK had a more significant impact on livelihoods, as follows. First, the vulnerable and marginalised groups need to be supported by stakeholders to encourage readiness in faces of SVLK impact. Second, SVLK is susceptible to the effects and at risk of losing livelihoods for women and disabled groups in a short time. This group includes vulnerable groups of aspects of adaptability and sensitivity to the effect. Third, SME’s worker groups who do not have a labour organisation are sensitive to the impact on the workplace company. This group is classified as a group that is quite vulnerable if the effect lasts long enough and on a large scale of impact.

MAPPING THE DEGREE OF TECHNOLOGICAL CAPABILITY IN SMALL AND MEDIUM INDUSTRY OF AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS

The automotive industry is known to increase exports since 2015 and is predicted to continue to grow. To develop the industry, the government is known to issue several schemes, and one of them is in the form of mandatory rules for partnerships with the small and medium industrial sectors. However, there is no industrial, institutional map seen from various aspects, including technology, human resources, information, and organization. This map is essential and useful for stakeholders to develop the industry because it provides more directed assistance.In this study, the small and medium industries for processing metal automotive components in Tegal City are used as mapping objects. The technometric method is used to calculate the level of technology contribution they have. The results of this study indicate that the four aspects covering Technoware, Humanware, Infoware, and Orgaware for small and medium-sized automotive component processing industries in Tegal City are in a reasonable range. For improvement or guidance, production facility technology is the priority. Then proceed to employee competencies, information systems, and organizational management. Mapping should be done regularly every five years or less than five years as an evaluation.

Mapping and Development Strategy of Small and Medium Food Industry in the Province of Jakarta

The growth of small and medium industries in Indonesia has generally been predicted to be decreased. Almost all the Small and Medium Industry sector as well as the SME’s Food in the DKI Jakarta Province. However, the SME’s Food development program still seems to be not optimal, the competitiveness of SME’s Food in DKI Jakarta is still relatively weak if it is to be compared to SME’s Food in other Regions or Countries. One of the problems is the lack of mapping and strategies that still exists in the development of the food SME’s in DKI Jakarta. This mapping must be done internally and externally so that it can describe the right strategy to develop food SME’s in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this study was to carry out mapping and strategy for the development of SME’s Food in DKI Jakarta. The data used includes primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from the results of field surveys through interviews, observations, questionnaires and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Both of the Central and DKI Jakarta Provinces were both at the Central and DKI Jakarta. The strategy for developing SME’s Food in DKI Jakarta was developed using the SWOT method. The results of the analysis show that supporting the aggressive growth policy (Strength Oriented Strategy) where Strengths are the scale of the business of SME’s with the support of capital access for the Food Industry in DKI Jakarta.

Analysis of Decision to Work of Female Workers in Indonesia

This study analyze the influence of demographic, social, and economic characteristics on the decision to work of female workers in Indonesia. Based on the data of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) August 2017, this study is conducted by using multinomial logistic regression method to achieve the objective. The result shows the characteristics of demographic, social, and economic have significant effect on the decision to work of female workers in Indonesia. Female workers tend to work in tertiary sector than primary sector. This finding is in line with the trend of increasing female workers in the tertiary sector which is one of the factor that influence the shift in economic structure in Indonesia. Another finding is that the increase of wage reduce the probability of female workers to work in the secondary sector. This condition is probably related to the existence of rules of minimum wage and work contract which bind female workers in the secondary sector, especially in large and medium industrial sector.
