The Impact of Research Methodology and Statistics Mastery on the Quality of Student Theses in Elementary School Teacher Education Department

Thesis is one of the biggest challenges for students. This is because students often do not understand the method of writing a thesis as a scientific paper. This research was carried out to examine the mastery of research methodology and statistics on the quality of student thesis. The research method used in this study is quantitative research. The results of this study then found a positive and very significant relationship between mastery of educational research methodology material and the quality of the thesis. Then a positive and very significant relationship was also found between the level of student mastery of the statistics course material and thesis quality. Finally, the hypothesis testing concluded that between the variables of student mastery of research methodology material and statistics course material, there was a positive and very significant relationship with the thesis quality of university students.

UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA KELAS VII B SMP NEGERI 2 SALATIGA PADA MATERI PENYAJIAN DATA MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL)

This study aims to enhance students' problem-solving skills and learning outcomes on data presentation and interpretation in the form of pie charts and measures of the center of the data in the single data. This research is a collaborative classroom action research (PTKK). The study employs the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Salatiga in class VII B with 32 students. The results indicate an improvement in students' problem-solving abilities for each indicator. In cycle I, the student's ability to understand the problem was 36.2 %, which increased by 42.2 % to 78.4 % in cycle II. Furthermore, students' making a plan skill in cycle I was 51.2 %, increasing by 26.9 % to 78.1 % in cycle II. The student's ability to execute the plan increased by 19.6 % from 55.7 % in cycle I to 75.3 % in cycle II. The student's ability to look back and reflect in cycle I was 42.2 %, and in cycle II, it was 75 %, an increase of 32.8 %. The study also showed an improvement in learning outcomes. In cycle I, the classical student mastery level was 40.6 %, with an average learning outcome of 67.2. In contrast, in cycle II, the classical student mastery level was 75 %, with an average learning outcome of 78.2. In this case, the classical student mastery level increased by 34.4 %, with an average student learning outcome increase of 11. Based on these results, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can enhance students' problem-solving abilities

Amalan Pentaksiran Alternatif Digital Guru Pendidikan Islam (GPI) Di Sekolah Kebangsaan

Malaysia Ministry of Education is always taking steps forward to improve the quality of education. Among the important aspects that are focused on is the Assessment of Digital Alternatives in school management in Malaysia in line with the current digital development. Through digital learning allows students to follow the learning process flexibly without having to be tied to conventional learning hours. The purpose of Alternative Assessment is to track the level of student mastery through Assessment for Learning and Assessment as Learning which is carried out continuously in PdPc either through oral methods, written methods or observation methods. The use of digital technology in education is recommended by the Ministry of Education to ensure that the country's education moves along with modernization. The government is in the process of implementing the National Digital Education Policy as a step forward to prepare a digitally literate generation Accordingly, this concept paper aims to discuss assessment practices and methods used such as observation, writing and oral methods in digital alternative assessment. This concept paper is constructed based on a literature review of several articles related to digital alternative assessment. Based on the findings of analysis from previous studies, among the digital alternative assessment practices that teachers often use to assess students are gamification, e-portfolios, e-quiz. Applications and digital platforms used such as DELIMa, Google Classroom, Quizizz, Kahoot, Google Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp and Telegram while the use of digital technology applications among teachers creates a positive impact. Therefore, this concept paper also presents some recommendations and suggestions to improve the quality and strategy of digital assessment among Islamic Education teachers. The findings of this study can be used by parties involved in further dignifying the practice of PBD implemented digitally in the context of teaching and facilitating Islamic Education.

Active Learning to Find Concepts and Algorithms in Decimal Material in Class V Elementary School

Prior to learning, pre-tests and questionnaires were given to determine students' abilities and interests in learning decimal. Based on the results of the initial test, it was found that students' initial abilities were very low with an average grade of 15.50, and from the results of the questionnaire, all students said they did not like decimal learning. After active learning to find the concept of algorithms in decimal material, the class average value was 86.27, meaning that the level of classical student mastery was 86.27. This indicated that the student mastery level was relatively high. Of the 20 students, there were 19 people or 95.0% who had finished studying, thus that classically learning decimal material had been completed. Judging from the specific learning objectives, all of them achieved above 65%. The results of the student questionnaire after the decimal material learning outcomes test was completed, obtained data that students felt happy with the learning they had just participated in. Students argue, the way is easy to understand and understand. With simple but interesting teaching aids, it can increase students' enthusiasm and interest in learning Mathematics.
 The classical learning outcomes have been completed based on the learning completeness criteria specified in the curriculum, specific learning objectives have been achieved based on the learning objectives achievement criteria, the student's response to learning is positive, the student's mastery of the material is high. It can be concluded that learning on decimal material in class V SD. already effective.

Analysis of Concept Understanding and Mastering of The Basic Competency of Thermochemistry Materials Post Utilization of Chemlovers Media

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the level of conceptual understanding and academic competition among students studying chemistry material in thermochemistry by utilizing Chemlovers as a media and student body. Penelitian is carried out using a combined method of sequential explanation and data collection in two phases, namely quantitative and qualitative phases. Approximately 144 students from kelas XI of the MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Semarang participated in the survey. Understanding of concepts and demonstration of competency with regard to thermochemistry material was conducted using a three-tier multiple-choice test. Students’ disagreement with the media's use of Chemlovers comes from their angry response. The study's findings indicate that the percentage of respondents who understood the concept well was very high, with a score of about 66,74% (top category), and a score of 7,45% (low category). The level of student mastery of thermochemistry material, 80.56% of students fulfilled the minimal completeness criteria, with the highest score of 92.50, the lowest at 58.67, and an average of 83.37. Based on the results of this study, it can be said that media like Chemlovers efficiently helps students comprehend ideas and hone analytical abilities linked to thermochemistry. Respondents' comments on the utility of this android-based media were generally favorable.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PKN DI KELAS VII-3 SMP NEGERI 1 NAMORAMBE TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019

Abstract: Application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model to Improve Student Motivation in Civics Subjects in Class Vii-3 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe Academic Year 2018/2019. This study aims to determine the increase in students' learning motivation by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in Class VII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Namorambe in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research method is in the form of classroom action research and the research subject is Class VII-3. The class studied consisted of 34 students. Based on the learning outcomes from the first cycle, the average score was 75. After the second cycle, there was an increase to 85. In this study, the data obtained for individual and classical learning completeness criteria were 34 students or 100%. Thus the learning in this research can be said to have been completed. The level of student mastery of the material being taught, which is made based on the final test is 100% of students who have very high mastery. Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPA pada Materi Penggolongan Tumbuhan dengan Pembelajaran Cooperatif Model Jigsaw

The background of this research problem is the teacher's effort in realizing the goals of school education, namely developing strategies to create a pleasant learning situation. As for the problems found with regard to the teaching and learning process, especially in science learning related to plant classification material which shows that the level of student mastery is still low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students on the concept of classifying plants with the jigsaw model cooperative method. The implementation of this learning improvement research was carried out in class III SDN Cipondoh I, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, totaling 36 people consisting of 18 boys and 18 girls. The results of the final learning test obtained in this study for each cycle have increased. In Cycle I activities, the test results obtained an average of 67 this value is less than the KKM value but in Cycle II activities with an average of 88 more than the KKM value. This research can be concluded that the learning activities arranged using the Jigsaw model cooperative method provide a teaching experience for teachers and a learning experience for students. The researcher teaches the material on classifying plants in class III through 2 stages, namely Cycle I and Cycle II.

Efektivitas Penerapan Model Project Based Learning Pada Materi Sistem Sirkulasi Manusia Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA St. Maria Tarutung

This study aims to decide the effectiveness of the application Project Based Learning model on student learning result in the human circulation system material in class XI IPA SMA Santa Maria Tarutung. This type of research is a pre-experimental study using a one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique was determined through purposive sampling technique with a sample totaling 36 students. The data collection technique used was through pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the increase in student learning outcomes was 48.11%. The results of the data analysis showed that the pre-test mean score was 34.44 and the post-test score was 82.55. Based on the results of learning skills (Product), it was found that the skill scores with very good criteria were 13 students, 12 students good criteria and 11 students good enough criteria. The level of student learning completeness is 86.11% (complete), the level of student mastery of the material is 82.55% (high) and the average N-Gain shows that student learning outcomes have increased by 74.16% (high). From this research it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model is effective when used when learning online.

Improvement of Reading Ability Through Image Card Media

<p><em>This research was aimed to improve reading ability through image card media. This research is a classroom action research</em><em> conducted in three cycles. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 22 students of first grade of SD Negeri Krasak 02. The data collection used was tests and observations. Data analysis is descriptive. The pre-action stage was carried out to determine the initial condition of the students, obtained the value of learning outcomes of 56.82. The learning outcomes of the first cycle were 64.77 with classical completeness 59.09%. In the second cycle of 80.22 with 72.73% classical completeness. The learning cycle III showed an increase in the value of 81.82 with a student mastery level of 95.45%. The activities of teachers and students also experienced an increase in each cycle. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that image card media can improve reading skills. Thus the image card media can be used as a medium for teachers in learning activities to improve reading ability.</em></p>

IMPLEMENTATION OF FREE LEARNING POLICY-INDEPENDENT CAMPUS PROGRAMS ON MASTERING COURSE THEORY OF FOUNDATION DESIGN

<p>Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020, entitles students to 3 semesters of study outside their study program. Through the Free Learning Policy - Independent Campus program, students have wide opportunity to be able to choose the learning method and place they want which is believed to be able to enrich and increase their insight and competence in the real world according to their passion and aspirations. The "Free Learning, Independent Campus" policy was initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture which includes 1) opening of new study programs, 2) higher education accreditation system, 3) freedom to become State universities with legal status, and 4) the right to study three semesters outside the study program. In planning a foundation structure, calculations must be included regarding the bearing capacity of the soil, soil stability, bearing capacity of the foundation and stability of the foundation, all of which are based on empirical and mathematical calculations. This research was conducted to analyze the level of student mastery of the Foundation Design course. With primary data collection in the form of questionnaires distributed to students of Civil Engineering, Banten Jaya University semester 7 (seven). One of the results of the research shows that students who take part in the apprenticeship program / practical work in projects with foundation work, but have not mastered the theory, most of them cannot plan and design the structure of the foundation (45 people = 84, 91%).</p>

The Effectiveness of Learning Mathematics Through Explicit Instruction Techniques at Santa Maria Private Junior High School Parmonangan Academic Year 2020/2021

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics through the Explicit Intruction technique with the help of Student Worksheets in teaching triangle material. The instruments used to determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics are the initial test, final test, and observation sheets as well as learning indicators in terms of 4 aspects, namely: student mastery level, student learning completeness, completeness of special learning objectives (TPK), student worksheets. The research subjects were all class VIII students of Santa Maria Parmonangan Private Junior High School, totaling 40 people and the research object was student learning outcomes and Student Worksheets (LKPD)The type of research used is descriptive research in the form of an essay. Before the material is taught, a preliminary test is given to determine the students' initial abilities and difficulties. The results of the initial tests show that students have low abilities. Of the 40 students, the percentage results obtained were 75% incomplete and 25% complete with an average of 46.65. Once applied Explicit intruction techniques with the help of Student Worksheets, carried out post-tests with the results of the percentage level of classical student learning completeness is 85% or an average of 69.4 in other words, classical student learning completeness has been achieved. Based on the TPK criteria, there are 4 TPKs. Of the 4 aspects of the effectiveness of mathematics learning, all of them are complete, namely: 80% Student Mastery Level, 85% Student Learning Completeness, 82.5% Completeness of Specific Learning Objectives, 77.5% Student Worksheets.) By applying explicit instruction techniques with the help of Sheets Students work in learning mathematics students on the material triangle student learning outcomes are increased and effective.

EFEKTIVITAS PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFIC DENGAN METODE OBSERVASI DAN DISKUSI DALAM MENINGKATKAN CAPAIAN BELAJAR DAN KINERJA SISWA KELAS VII SMP KRISPA SILIAN

The first step to learn science is through observation and measurement as a part of the observation. The research was conducted with the aim to improve the processes and student learning outcomes by implementing the teaching through the application of a scientific approach to the method of observation and discussion on the subject of "object IPA and observations". The research was conducted on a class VII SMP Negeri 1 Airmadidi 2015-2016 school year the number of students 30 people. The study design used is a Class Action Research or Classroom Action Research model of John Elliot. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques, where the data described is data about students' ability to master scientific concepts and data on student engagement during the learning process takes place. To obtain the necessary data in this study used the instrument in the form of Student Worksheet (LKS) and tests to determine the level of student mastery of concepts. Result reflections 1 suggested need to proceed to the second cycle because of the 30 students there are 17 students who have not been thoroughly studied. Through learning activities and teaching the second cycle showed that all students have been thoroughly studied and an increase in average student learning outcomes of 64.83 (first cycle) to 74.67 (second cycle). Results of this study concluded that the application of a scientific approach to the method of observation and discussion on the objects of material science and observations can improve the process and the achievements of students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Airmadidi.

POLA PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PAI DI MADRASAH MELALUI PENDEKATAN KOMPREHENSIF

The curriculum that is developed by the Islamic based school/Madrasah is an operational curriculum that is compiled and implemented by each school/Madrasah and it is used as a reference for learning in school. The urgency of the attention and application of the principle is to ensure that the Islamic education curriculum is developed completely convenient with the condition of the students, schools, communities so that it does not only revolve around the issue of aqidah and morality but also includes all the sciences that relate to various aspects of human life, balanced between the worldly needs and the hereafter needs, body and soul, material and spiritual. The new paradigm of Islamic Education requires integrated and continuous innovation. One manifestation is an innovation by the teacher in learning activities. The teacher's habit of gathering information about students' level of understanding through questions, observations, assignments, and tests will be very useful in determining the level of student mastery and in evaluating the effectiveness of the learning process.

Kemampuan Membedakan Bahasa Indonesia Baku dan Tidak Baku Oleh Siswa

This research aims to describe the level of ability of students of State Junior High School 3 Mardingding in the ability to distinguish raw and non-standard Indonesian in Indonesian. The population of this study was 110 Mardingding State Junior High School students, and the study sample numbered 24 people who were taken randomly or randomly. This study uses descriptive methods. Data collection tool in the form of tests distinguishes the standard and not standard Indonesian as many as 70 questions. The data obtained is analyzed using percentage analysis techniques with the formula:
 
 The results of the analysis showed that the level of student mastery of the standard Indonesian of 61.65% and the student's mastery of non-standard language by 63.69%. While the average ability of students to distinguish raw and non-standard Indonesian is 70.04%.

Development of a DNP measurement grid to increase the rigor of doctor of nursing practice students' data collection and analysis methods.

A key component of the DNP project rigor is the collection and analysis of data or measurement. A Steering Committee at the University of Maryland formed to improve the quality of DNP projects established a workgroup to evaluate the current measurement content in four DNP core courses with the goal of establishing DNP project measurement criteria across the curriculum. The steps included: Step 1: Identify QI Measurement Methods and Tools. Identify the essential QI measurement methods and tools recommended by national organizations. Step 2: Create a DNP Measurement Grid. Define main data methods topics with subtopics. Step 3: Map the DNP core courses. Using the DNP Measurement Grid criteria determine the measurement content included in each course and student mastery level. The level of mastery was ranked from introduced (awareness), to reinforced (knowledge), to demonstrated (application). Step 4: Evaluate and Refine the DNP Measurement Grid Criteria. Adjustments were made in the DNP curriculum to include topics and subtopics at the desired mastery level. The rigor of data measurement and analysis will be evaluated in future DNP projects. The workgroup's four-step process provides a path that facilitated improving curriculum measurement content. This process may provide guidance for others undertaking similar work.

PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN TASK BASED LANGUAGE LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPTIF BAHASA PERANCIS

Today there are so many learning strategies to support teaching and learning activities. One of the learning strategies that can be applied in writing skills is Task Based Language Learning. This research aims to measure the level of student mastery of descriptive text writing skills before and after the use of Task Based Language Learning strategies; measure the effectiveness of the implementation of Task Based Language Learning, and; obtain information about the implementation of Task Based Language Learning. The method used in this research was a pre-experimental. Meanwhile, the research design was one group pre-test and post-test design. The research findings explained that the use of Task Based Language Learning can improve students’s descriptive text writing skills. This is proven by an increase in the average value obtained by students. The average score in the pre-test was 60.8 while the post-test average score increased by 74.88. Then based on the overall questionnaire data analysis, the application of this learning strategy contributed positively to the learning of descriptive French writing skills.

The Implementation of Guilford Learning Production Dimensions in Ninth Grade Students of SMP Negeri I Sipahutar Tapanuli Utara

The aims of this study is to apply Guilford's production dimensions in mathematics learning, especially algebraic units in story problems and to find out whether the application of Guilford's production dimensions is effective for teaching algebraic units in the story problems. The subjects in this study is ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipahutar Tapanuli Utara, while the object was student learning outcomes as a result of learning by applying Guilford's production dimensions to the algebra unit in the story questions. This research is classified as classroom action research, the results of data analysis show that learning mathematics by applying Guilford's production theory to the algebra unit has been completed, the level of student mastery in learning is 78.92%, this shows that the level of student mastery is still classified as moderate, the absorption of individual students is obtained by 32 people from 35 students or 91.42% of many subjects have completed learning, thus classical achievement has been completed, the achievement of specific learning objectives is all completely achieved (achieved in over 65%), during learning with the application of Guilford production theory in the algebra unit. From the results of the questionnaire given to students, it shows that students' responses to learning with the application of Guilford's production dimension theory are positive.

Penuntasan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XII Melalui Penerapan Strategi Belajar PQ4R pada Konsep Evolusi di SMA Negeri 4 Ambon

This study aims to determine student learning outcomes and student responses to PQ4R learning strategies in evolutionary studies. To find out the obstacles that might be found. This research is a class action research design. These results are based on the opinions of Thomas and Robinson; the PQ4R strategy is used to help students understand the contents of the reading and remember the material they have read. The results of this study indicate that the learning process of students in evolutionary material in biology learning with PQ4R learning strategies can complete their learning outcomes and increase the level of student mastery. From the overall learning outcomes for two cycles, the student learning outcomes in evolutionary material by applying the PQ4R learning strategy can improve learning outcomes with completeness percentage of cycle I is 78.57% and cycle II is 85.71%, the element of student interest in cycle I is 45.8% and cycle II 51.8%. The improvement of students 'abilities in evolutionary material through PQ4R learning strategies shows that there is an increase in students' learning motivation through diligence in doing assignments, showing interest in learning, pleasure in working individually and in groups, being able to maintain opinions and looking for and solving questions in evolutionary material.

MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMA PADA MATERI GELOMBANG BUNYI MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES

A person has compound intelligence is the foundation for improving cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning achievements. Individually, the multiple intelligences that a person has are more than one or heterogeneous, so that abilities may be developed with some compound intelligence. The method of study used is descriptive research that is intended to give a description of symptoms, events and actual circumstances, in this case would clearly depict a student has description of sound wave material using a compound wave method. Before student obtain treatment of sound wave material using a compound intelligence strategy, the student mastery level was still very low, but when given the treatment with the compound intelligence strategy the student mastery level experienced improvement.

A Analysis of Student Mastery Levels on Composite Material Subjects in South Aceh Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering Study Program

Research is included into the type of descriptive study using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research procedure includes stage 1) initial observation, 2) preparation, 3) implementation, 4) evaluation, and 5) final results. The subjects in this study were the second semester students of Mechanical Engineering Study Program, totaling 24 people. Data collection techniques used 1) test questions, 2) interviews, 3) documentation, and 4) field notes. Data analysis techniques mastery level of the material were analyzed using the percentage formula. Interview data were analyzed in stages 1) reducing data, 2) presenting data, and 3) summarizing data. Instrument documentation and field notes were analyzed narratively. The results of data analysis on the level of student mastery of composite material shows that the group of students in the category of mastery is very mastering (SM) 0 students (0%), the category of mastery mastering (M) is 9 students (23.68%), the category of mastery is less mastering (KM ) 16 students (42.11%), mastery category not mastered (TM) 13 students (34.21%). Students who mastered the mastery-1 category were 15 students (39.47%), who mastered the mastery-2 category by 22 students (57.89%), who mastered the mastery-3 category by 9 students (23.68%) and categories mastery-4 as many as 0 students (0%). Interview results obtained by some students 'mistakes in mastering composite material courses, namely a) errors in the use of formulas or concept errors, b) errors in algebraic fraction operations, c) students' lack of attention to the tests conducted, d) errors in inputting parameter values, e) errors in the operation of exponential numbers, f) errors in formulating problems in the form of formulas (mathematical modeling), and g) principle errors.
