Study carried out with basic education teachers from the municipalities of Cuautepec de Hinojosa and Tulancingo de Bravo; State of Hidalgo. Research of mixed approach with qualitative paradigm and concurrent design, descriptive correlational type. Self-selected sample; participants responded to a Letter of Informed Consent whose objective was to determine whether spirituality is constituted as a fundamental element of work wellbeing and Teacher Revaluation. Findings: Participants attach great importance to spirituality, considering it a priority aspect of human development. Although physically, socially and mentally they project themselves in a positive sense: 40% and 60% of the participant population; there are collateral effects in the same percentage manifesting themselves in physical symptoms evidencing various ailments and illnesses, as they agree that the spiritual sphere is an aspect that is neglected. Spirituality is a fundamental element of well-being at work and the revaluation of teachers; it has a significant influence, and is therefore the basis for a profound transformation in the vindication of the teaching body, which is a contribution to the existing proposals for strengthening quality in integral education.
