Особливості практичної підготовки майбутніх фахівців спеціальності 231 "Соціальна робота" за освітньо-професійною програмою "Соціальна педагогіка"

The article is devoted to highlighting the features of practical training of future specialists in the social sphere, highlighting practical experience and problematic points in the training of social pedagogues, social workers. An analysis of the latest research and publications on the content of the professional training of future specialists in the social sphere in Ukraine was carried out. Presented are modern approaches to the implementation of practical training of students of higher education institutions, namely, future specialists in the socionomic sphere. The educational and professional programs «Social pedagogy» training specialists of the specialty 231 Social work of higher education institutions of Ukraine were developed, in particular, the practical training of students in the modern conditions of such institutions of higher education was analyzed: Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovorody, Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University, Khmelnytskyi National University, Zaporizhia National University. The conditions of students' readiness to undergo practice in social institutions have been characterized, and it has been determined that practical training is aimed at the acquisition of professional and general competencies by students of higher education. Attention is focused on the importance of adapting the tasks of practical training of students of higher education in the socio-economic sphere to the conditions of the introduction of martial law. As an example, a number of organizations that can be the main bases of practice for students of the specialty 231 Social work under the educational and professional program «Social pedagogy» are given. The content of the practice, which is determined by the leading types of activities that ensure the realization of the professional functions of a social sphere specialist, is outlined. The main types of students' activities during practical training in institutions are specified.

VISUAL DATA COMPUTER PROCESSING IN EDUCATIONAL DIY PROJECTS

The software tools for processing visual data in an educational chemical experiment, the experience of their usage, and a number of DIY (Do it yourself) projects developed on their basis were analyzed. Particular attention was paid to the role of self-made devices during the forced online education caused by COVID-19 and the full-scale war in Ukraine. The results of the development of the software tool ColorKit, which is being developed at the Department of Physics and Chemistry of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University are presented. The basic principles were covered, the interface was described, the main functions of the application and their areas of usage were given. The principle of operation of the modules: "Spectrophotometer", "Colorimeter", "Refractometer", "Polarimeter" was characterized. The features of the structure of optical computer devices for physico-chemical analysis developed by teachers, students of higher education and students, members of the Academy of Medical Sciences were considered, and the results of their testing were highlighted. The design of an absorption spectrophotometer based on a reflective diffraction grating made from a DVD disc was described; a new method of its calibration using a diamond green solution was proposed. The operating model was tested and it was established that the accuracy of the device was sufficient for demonstration and educational chemical experiments. The operating principle of the "Colorimeter" module of the ColorKit software tool was considered. It was shown that, unlike other software tools, it had built-in approximation tools, which significantly facilitated the processing of visual data; displaying the results of mathematical processing in a graphic form, which made the experiment visual. It should be noted that for the correct operation of the virtual spectrophotometer and colorimeter in real time, the correct setting of the video device driver is quite important. A number of optical schemes of refractometers developed on the basis of the ColorKit software tool were presented: with liquid and V-prisms; i.e. the device whose principle of action is based on changing the optical properties of the lens in contact with the solution. It was shown that the simultaneous display of the course of the rays and the results of mathematical processing provides a high level of visibility. The results of the approval of the LED DIE refractometer with a V-prism are outlined. Further prospects for the development of the ColorKit project are planned.

PROBLEMS OF STUDYING CHOREOGRAPHIC DISCIPLINES IN THE CONDITIONS OF DISTANCE EDUCATION

The article analyzes the process of distance learning of graduates of the Department of Choreography of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Frying pans Factors affecting the formation of professional abilities of students with traditional and distance forms of education are considered. Introduction of distant education in Ukraine has been stipulated by objective demands of modern Society. Cause-and-effect relationships between teaching methods and the formation of pedagogical competences of choreographers-apprentices have been established. On the basis of the studied facts, conclusions were drawn and recommendations were made regarding the improvement of the quality of the educational process of students of choreographic specialties during distance learning. Having considered the positive and negative aspects of distance education of students of the Department of Choreography of the Kharkіv National University, it should be noted that this form of education is effective, but only in a mixed format together with traditional education, along with the acquisition of professional practical knowledge, skills and abilities. There must be specially equipped rooms, but, unfortunately, most of the students do not have any. Moreover, there is a lack of motivation, self-discipline, and a lack of system as for gained knowledge. It is proved that the effectiveness of the distance format of professional training of future teachers of choreography during martial law depends on the level of studentsʼ motivation for learning and their self-organization. Self-organization ensures the studentʼs ability to plan and carry out their own learning activities in accordance with the priorities of professional training. It is motivation that is the driving force behind the studentʼs acquisition of the necessary professional knowledge and professional skills.
 It should be noted that this work does not cover all the issues related to the study of choreographic disciplines in the conditions of distance learning. This study requires further study and determination of the impact of distance education on the formation of competencies of students of choreographic specialties.

GENERAL THEORETICAL ISSUES OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN THE NATURAL SCIENCES

The article is devoted to the problem of forming the professional competence of future specialists in the natural sciences. The purpose of the article is to determine the directions of successful formation of professional competence of future specialists in the natural sciences. The research methods are theoretical (analysis of scientific sources, educational and professional programs in the natural sciences, websites and platforms for organizing distance learning, synthesis and generalization of results); empirical (generalization of pedagogical experience). The article analyzes the approaches of domestic scientists to defining the essence of the concept of «professional competence» and presents the author's position of the essence of the concept of «professional competence of future specialists in the natural sciences». It has been found that the professional training of future specialists in the natural sciences at universities is carried out in accordance with the Standards of Higher Education of Ukraine (field of knowledge 10 Natural Sciences). Based on the theoretical analysis of the Standards of Higher Education of Ukraine (field of knowledge 10 Natural Sciences), educational and professional training programs for specialists in the natural sciences, experience in organizing the educational process and training of specialists in this field at V.N.Karazin Kharkiv National University and H.S.Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University (for the period of 2021-2023 academic years), the priority areas for the successful formation of professional competence in the languages of transformation are identified.

Training basketball players technology of of student teams of the humanitarian profile higher education institutions

Background and purpose. At the current stage, the importance of training basketball players during their studies at higher education institutions is growing. After all, it is precisely at the age of 18-25 years, which coincides with the age of studying at the university, that the highest rate of increase in sports achievements of basketball players is observed. But combining sports training with professional development, which requires studying at a university, has difficulties. It is difficult for the coach to take into account the psychological and psychophysiological characteristics of the students of the basketball team. Such features include the properties of the nervous system, its mobility, lability, strength, endurance, as well as the type of thinking based on the predominance of the right or left hemisphere of the brain, that is, imaginative (artistic) or logical (mental).
 Purpose: to develop and experimentally justify the methodology of training basketball teams of humanitarian higher educational institutions, taking into account the psychophysiological capabilities of the players.
 Material and methods. 23 students - players of the national basketball team H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. Athletes were divided into 2 groups, control (n=12) and experimental (n=11). In the experimental group, a specially developed technology for training basketball players was used, taking into account the peculiarities of the nervous system and the type of thinking of students of humanitarian universities, that is, high mobility and lability and low endurance of the nervous system with a predominance of the artistic type of thinking. The technology included exercises for the development of speed qualities in combination with informational means of influencing the perception of technical and tactical elements in basketball. Research methods: analysis of modern literature, methods of determining the physical and technical level of athletes, methods of determining the level of attention, methods of determining the ability to concentrate and switch attention, methods of statistical analysis.
 Results. In the study, based on the results of the literature analysis, the psychophysiological features of students of humanitarian universities were determined. These features consist in the predominance of mobility and lability of the nervous system over endurance. On the basis of these data, a method of training basketball teams of humanitarian higher educational institutions was developed.
 Special informational methods of influence on the perception of basketball players of humanitarian higher educational institutions of the elements of basketball technique and tactics have been developed. These methods correspond to the imaginative, artistic type of thinking of students of humanitarian universities and the peculiarities of their nervous system - high mobility and lability in combination with a low level of endurance development.
 Conclusions. The method of training basketball players of student teams, based on the psychophysiological characteristics of students of humanitarian universities, is effective for improving the level of special physical fitness of players, as well as the technical and tactical skills of basketball students of humanitarian universities.

PREPARATION OF THE MAYBE FAMILY FACTORY FOR PRESCHOOL EDUCATION TO ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC DEVELOPMENT OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN

The article theoretically establishes the regularities of the artistic and aesthetic development of children of the preschool age in the development of the basic component of preschool education.
 The didactic potential of the art as a way of shaping the artistic and creative competence of the child is considered in the article. It shows the peculiarity of this process in the minds of the realization of the emotionally oriented model of artistic enlightenment, reveals the dialogical essence that apart from other factors includes joint activity of a grown-up and a child in an artistic environment. It has been proved that the effectiveness of the process of shaping artistic and creative competence in preschoolers depends on the pedagogical practitioner of establishments of preschool education having a certain level of professional readiness.
 It is shown that the process of preparing future professionals in preschool education to be able to form of artistic and creative competence of the pedagogical support of the artistic activity of the child should be based on: forming a special position on infusion of art on the development of the personality of the child in the future professionals in preschoolers education; recognition of the importance of the aesthetic development of the personality and the improvement of ability of own artistic activity; the development of pedagogical tools for arts education of children of the preschool age; stimulation of motivation for self-development and constant professional growth; shaping the creation of a developmental aesthetic center at the foundation of preschool education; the development of the effective interplay skills in the area of "child - science - teacher" (self-diagnosis, reflection, active listening, involvement in visual artistic activity) in future pre-school education professionals.
 The ways of shaping such readiness in the process of professional and pedagogical training of professionals in preschool education were considered by the faculty of the Department of Theory, Technology and Methods of Preschool Education of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Skovoroda. They emphasized the role and methods of using innovative technologies for stated purposes, such as: technologies of pedagogical communication (facilitated discussion), technologies of design education, artistic and musical illustration, verbalization of the sense of artists and musical creations, interactive technologies (working in small groups and couples), technologies of productive and creative activity, pedagogical training, initial pedagogical and game technologies, technologies of integration of art, art therapy technologies, technology of "learning without a lesson", modern digital technologies.

Digitization of the scientific library of ZVO: current state and prospects

The article is devoted to the issue of digitalization of scientific libraries of higher education institutions. The publications were investigating the current state and prospects of Ukrainian libraries digital transformation, university libraries were actually analyzed. It is proved that digitization determines the vector of development of the university library, significantly affects the model of library activity, the transformation of the traditional functions of the scientific library.
 There are some examples of storage and renewal of traditional library funds, and ensuring their availability with the help of digital technologies in the scientific library of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovoroda.
 The areas of international cooperation and partnership with world libraries and institutions which are working in the field of digital technologies were analyzed. Special attention was paid to the possibility that scientists can use international databases Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, resources of the Research4Life platform in the libraries of higher education institutions.
 It is emphasized some advantages of digitalization of libraries of higher education institutions, such as: a convenient access to information for library users, increasing the range of library services, open access to the digitized rare and valuable publications, effective use of library space, wide use of library resources, increasing the amount of online library users.
 The role of the digital presence of the library of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovoroda (electronic catalogue, electronic archive of the university, information and search resource "Scientometric profiles of scientists", etc.) in the educational and scientific space of the university has been specified. Ways of cooperation with Ukrainian libraries and institutions working in the field of digital technologies were considered. The effectiveness of popularizing scientific library resources through social networks has been proven.
 The importance of improving the efficiency of higher education libraries through changes to access information was emphasized.

Laboratory work in Physics and Chemistry in the training of future teachers in the conditions of distance learning

The article is devoted to the systematization of experience and establishing the peculiarities of conducting laboratory work in Physics and Chemistry in the training of future teachers in the conditions of distance learning (on the example of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University).
 Possibilities of using photo and video recording of physical and chemical experiments for their repeated display in the form of synchronous and asynchronous broadcasting are considered. The procedure for performing laboratory work based on the use of photos and video materials is described, and relevant examples are given. Conducting laboratory work in physics and chemistry in the conditions of distance learning using interactive simulators and models on various platforms is characterized. Laboratory work in physics and chemistry using specialized virtual laboratories is described, examples of working with them in classes are given. The experience of using the author's software-methodological complexes to ensure laboratory work in chemistry is described, which are actively used in the educational process in the conditions of distance learning – using SchoolKit as an example.
 It has been established that conducting laboratory work in physics and chemistry in the training of future teachers in the conditions of distance learning can be ensured in several ways: access to collections of photos and video materials of physical and chemical experiments; demonstrations of laboratory experiments in synchronous mode by means of video conferences; using virtual simulations and models of physical and chemical objects, processes, phenomena; using virtual physical and chemical laboratories; using software and methodical complexes in physics and chemistry.
 Prospective areas of further research are the study of the effectiveness of the considered methods of conducting laboratory work in the conditions of distance learning in the practice of training future teachers of physics and chemistry and the development of appropriate methodological recommendations with the generalization of the acquired experience of institutions of higher pedagogical education.

Educational work in institutions of higher education in the conditions of distance learning

The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of the implementation of forms of educational work with students of higher education in the conditions of distance learning (from the experience of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University), based on the approach to education and upbringing as a single process, continuous at all stages of education. Traditional forms of educational work with students in a higher education institution (organizational, practical, verbal, active, face-to-face) were considered and it was proved that in the conditions of distance learning they acquire special features and even certain new opportunities due to the online format. Examples of such educational activities are given and the specifics of preparation and implementation of them are revealed at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics H.S. Skovoroda KhNPU. Meetings of the student team (in courses, in groups, meetings of student self-government bodies, etc.); festivals and competitions (university and faculty); interactive online games and quizzes; online tours; different types of meetings; online holidays; flash mobs and challenges are concedered as examples of such educational activities. The role of curators in the educational process in a distance format has been specified. Special attention is paid to the work of Student Council, its structure and committees and it is emphosised on the cooperation with student self-government. The areas of coverage of educational activities due to the use of modern Internet technologies are considered – websites, social networks, chats, channels, etc. The following features of educational work in institutions of higher education were singled out as significant: overcoming spatial and temporal barriers between participants in the educational process; overall quantitative and qualitative increase in the number of participants in educational activities; individualization of work with students; popularization of the idea of student self-government; changes in organizational principles and introduction of new methods of educational work; strengthening of requirements for digital competence of participants, etc. It is emphasized that taking into account the specified advantages should perform a compensatory function during the aggravation of the problems of the implementation of the educational process associated with the limitations of the distance form of education.

Training of future primary school teachers to preserve and strengthen the physical health of students with special educational needs in distance learning

The article is devoted to the problem of professional training of future primary school teachers using digital educational technologies on the example of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. The purpose of the article is to highlight the peculiarities of distance training of future primary school teachers to preserve and strengthen the physical health of children with special educational needs in inclusive education in the course of studying the discipline "Physical Education with Teaching Methods". To achieve this goal, the conceptual ideas of inclusive education based on the principles of democratization, non-discrimination, consideration of human diversity, effective involvement and inclusion of all participants in the educational process, taking into account their individual needs, capabilities, abilities and interests, and the professional competencies of the future primary school teacher, in particular, inclusive, health-saving and designing needs, which allow to execute the task of preserving and strengthening of the physical health of the children with special educational needs. In order to highlight the peculiarities of professional training of future primary school teachers in a distance format, the experience of teaching the discipline "Physical Culture with Teaching Methods" for students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty 013 "Primary Education with Special Education Methods" was analyzed. The discipline was taught using the educational platform Moodle of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University and Google applications. It is determined that the execution of the tasks of training future primary school teachers should be carried out both through the analysis, transformation and optimization of the content of theoretical and practical professional training, as well as updating the content of educational programs and curricula, taking into account the realities of today.

Under the sign of Hryhoriy Skovoroda

The 300th anniversary of Hryhoriy Skovoroda was included in the list of UNESCO jubilee dates in 2022. The outstanding Ukrainian left his descendants a phenomenal spiritual and pedagogical heritage, which does not lose its unique cognitive, ethical, educational, aesthetic significance even now, in the most difficult times in the history of our country. On the eve of the important date (from November 30 to December 2, 2022) at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovorody held solemn events dedicated to the anniversary of the Ukrainian philosopher.

Procedure of recognizing the results of non-formal and informal education in the training of bachelors and masters of specialty 016 “Special Education”(based on the analysis of the experience of EU countries)

The article analyses the problem of recognition of the results of non-formal and informal education in the training of bachelors and masters of specialty 016 “Special Eduacation” based on the analysis of the experience of EU countries on the results of international advanced training of scientific and pedagogical staff “Use of informal education in the training of bachelors and masters: experience of the EU countries and Ukraine”. Non-formal education is considered as “education obtained under educational programs and does not provide the award of state – recognized educational qualifications at the levels of education, but may result in the assignment of professional and/or the award of partial educational qualifications”, while informal education is an independent activity of the individual, which is related to the profession, social or other activities, family or leisure. It is needed to take into account the results of non-formal and informal education of applicants as an innovative component ; the main results of international professional development are given. Characteristic aspects of the implementation of these types of education among applicants for higher degree of specialty 016 “Special Education” are given. The use of these types of education, as well as the mechanism of their validation and re-crediting of loans to applicants, as the result of the implementation of the experience gained in the subsequent training of applicants of specialty 016 “Special Education” in Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G.S. Skovoroda. It is emphasized that positive practice at Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. S. Skovoroda is the existence of a procedure for recognizing the results of training of applicants obtained in non-formal and/or informal education, which are regulated by the relevant provision. The results of training obtained by applicants through informal and/or non-formal education are recognized in accordance with the established procedure in the formal education system.

Comparative analysis of art education in Kharkiv during the wartime period: 1941 and 2022 (view through the prism of today)

The article provides an overview of the educational process of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University during the period of martial law. The potential of Skovoroda University as an educational center of Kharkiv Oblast, functioning during the war and continuing to provide professional training of specialists, is described. Since the situation in wartime Kharkiv and the region is similar to the historical processes of 1941–1943 (the years of the occupation of Kharkiv by the Third Reich), the purpose of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the art education during the period of military confrontation in 2022 and during the period of German occupation. The result of the study is a presentation of the image policy of Kharkiv universities, primarily H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, which reveals the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in wartime conditions. The practical significance of the study lies in using the acquired experience of the educational process organization, effective pedagogical and information technologies that allow to provide a high-quality functioning of the art education system in the conditions of martial law. It can be concluded that today the educational community should organize not only effective resistance to the Russian aggressor, but also be able to quickly adapt in the changing conditions of the war, using information and communication technologies for providing the quality of the educational process.

The review conveys the main content of the Interuniversity Scientific and Practical Seminar «Philosophy of Modern Education: Transdisciplinary Reflections», which was held on the basis of Volodymyr Hnatyuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University on December 8, 2022, Ternopil. Representatives of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy of the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzhitsky, Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovoroda also took part in the seminar.

HIGH-SPEED COMPUTER POLARIMETER BASED ON CMOS MATRIX

Under the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and a full-scale war in Ukraine, the lack of computer equipment for conducting online chemical experiments is experienced. In connection with the implementation of the New Ukrainian School and the development of STEM education, there was an urgent need to develop domestic educational computer equipment. The Department of Physics and Chemistry of H.S. Skivoroda’s Kharkiv National Pedagogical University is developing the SchoolKit software-methodological complex (PMK), which is based on three universal software tools: ColorKit, ChemKit, SoundCardScientificKit. When creating applications, only free software is used, which ensures low cost and, accordingly, accessibility for a wide range of users. A computer polarimeter was developed based on the ColorKit software. A new principle of polarimeter operation is proposed, which is based on computer processing of the image that occurs when optically polarized light is passed sequentially through an optically active solution, a transparent plate with internal tension, and an analyzer. A high-speed computer polarimeter based on a CMOS matrix was developed, a working model was manufactured and tested. The device differs from others since it uses a fundamentally new way of processing visual data and does not contain any mechanical components and polarization modulators. It is also easy to manufacture, and quite reliable. The polarimeter software allows data to be accumulated in the form of tables and displayed in real-time graphical form. The computer polarimeter was used for two years during laboratory classes in the “Mechanisms of Organic Reactions” subject, including online mode. In particular, it was used to experimentally determine the constants of acid hydrolysis of sucrose at different temperatures, concentrations of acid and sucrose. Visual display of measurement results, stability of device operation and good reproducibility of experimentally obtained data allow intensification and/or optimisation of the education process due to the automation of polarimetric measurements. After some improvements and validation, the device is planned to be used in scientific research.

Підготовка бакалаврів спеціальності 012 Дошкільна освіта (порівняльний аналіз освітніх програм)

The article examines the specific aspects of professional training for future educators, focusing on health-preserving activities in preschool education institutions. This examination is based on a comparative analysis of educational program content. This article delves into the analysis of normative documents for the training of future educators for health-care activities and consider the Standard of Higher Education in Ukraine and the educational programs meant for preparing future preschool educators (specialty 012 Preschool education) from four higher Ukrainian education institutions. Furthermore, the article delineates the objectives of these programs, highlights the educational components and the health-preserving activities of students. Despite the ongoing scientific interest in the topic of training educators for health care activities, the article suggests that the enhancement of educational processes remains a crucial yet unresolved issue. This is especially relevant when evaluating educational programs for bachelor’s degrees. From analysis of educational programs designed for the training of future educators (specialty 012 Preschool education) educational components in these programs are identified that ensure the preparation of future preschool educators for health-preserving activities. These programs are currently implemented by leading universities of Ukraine, such as Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Kyiv Borys Grinchenko University, Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovoroda, and Kherson State University. Research in this article confirms that while normative and selective educational components do touch upon health-preserving activities, their focus is only partial. Specifically, they don’t primarily target the essential task of actualizing health-preserving activities or establishing a conducive educational environment. It has been established that there remains a significant challenge regarding the professional preparedness of future educators for health-care activities. The importance of creating and integrating a specialized course, additional modules, and topics within the framework of training these educators required further exploration. Pedagogical Conditions for the Formation of the Readiness of Future Specialists in Physical Rehabilitation to Work with Athletes of Water Srorts in the Process of Professional Training

Aim: To experimental verification of pedagogical conditions for the formation of the readiness of future specialists in physical rehabilitation to work with athletes of water sports in the process of professional training. Materials and Methods: The experimental work was carried out in the period from 2017-2022 and covered three stages that determined the program of the pedagogical experiment. 204 students were involved in the experiment to check the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions (EG passed 103 students, CG – 101). Experimental research was carried out on the basis of higher education institutions of Ukraine: Khmelnytskyi National University, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, Kamianets-Podilsky Ivan Ohienko National University. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodical literature; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; pedagogical testing; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: During the comprehensive diagnostic testing during the formative stage of the experiment, the majority of EG students demonstrated a high and medium level of readiness to work with water sports students (high – 30.10 %, average – 51.46 %), and only 18.44 % of EG students revealed a low level of readiness. At the same time, a slightly different indicator was recorded in CG: high level – 10.89 %, average – 38.61 %, low – 50.50 %. Conclusions: Therefore, the presented quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of the experiment recorded positive dynamics in the levels of students’ readiness to work with water sports athletes after experimental training and the introduction of pedagogical conditions regarding the determined component structure of the studied readiness, of their criterion indicators and parameters of formation, which took place during the experimental testing.

ENGAGING MUSIC-PEDAGOGY STUDENTS IN ONLINE COURSE

The article examines the current problems of providing learning online for music teacher students studying at pedagogical universities in the speciality 014 Secondary Education (Musical art). A review of the latest research in the context of the adopted educational standards and the implementation of the ideas of the New Ukrainian School requires the search for effective ways of working with students through digital education. The training of music teacher students based on the principles of integrated learning takes into account the didactic skills associated with the involvement of specialists of musical specialities in artistic and creative activities based on the didactic module (perception-performance, creation and evaluation of the results of artistic activity). The work presents the method of teaching students online based on modular structure. The methodology was implemented in the conditions of online learning on the example of students mastering the integrated course “Methodology of teaching “Art” at school”. Taking into account the specifics of this educational discipline, which reveals modern integrated approaches to teaching art at school, we structured the stages of its study according to the levels of student involvement in working with digital tools (cognitive- developmental, constructive and creative). An attempt was made to offer students at each stage of education the performance of professionally oriented situations. “Lecture-consilium” is defined as an effective form of working with a student audience in synchronous mode, using ICT for the presentation of creative projects in integrated “Art” lessons. A separate place is given to examples of conducting a review and advisory session, in the form of a flex model. The method of teaching students through the means of telecommunication with the use of graphic and symbolic means is presented. It included working with electronic textbooks, using the tools “Саnva”, “LearningApps”, “Сubase 12”. According to the goals of the work, the effectiveness of the methodology of learning online during the assimilation of integrated course using criteria that determine the level of integration and pedagogical skills of future music teachers has been proved. Also, a preliminary analysis of the impact of the online method on motivation of music-pedagogy students and the increase of creative motivation in the performance of art (instrumental, vocal, choral creativity) using innovative learning technologies has been done. Learning outcomes were studied through successful completion of professionally-based tasks, which included designing art lessons, creating art projects, and digital tools. In order to obtain preliminary results and check the effectiveness of the method of teaching online students of pedagogical universities majoring in 014 Secondary Education (Musical Art), the study was conducted in groups of the full-time and part-time students of the H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in the Department of Musical Art. Three criteria were selected: informational and motivational demonstrated a degree of awareness in the information environment, the ability to perceive artistic information on the Internet, complete professionally-based assignments via online resources. Analytical and active criterion is students’ ability to create art projects and conducting lessons during pedagogical practice online. Active-transformative, which reflected the manifestations of the creative motives of the applicants during artistic and creative activities (perception-performance-creation-evaluation of work) in online education. The results show that online learning method for music-pedagogy students described here is likely to be provided as a basis for modern methods of online learning.

On pre-service STEM teachers' training in Ukraine

The essence, purpose, tasks, approaches, principles, content, forms and methods of methodical training of future teachers of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as Masters in Educational and Pedagogical Sciences are revealed. Methodical training of future teachers is considered as one that should provide a synthesis of subject, psychological, pedagogical and methodological knowledge, skills, abilities and personal qualities of applicants for Higher Pedagogical Education. As the analysis of the experience of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, implementation of the developed concept of methodical training of future teachers allows to provide preconditions for creation of a trajectory of their further professional development focused on their personal and professional growth, successful professional self-realization. Developing Research Competence of Pre-Service EFL Teachers

Action research has become an integral part of a teaching practitioner’s professional activity improving the quality of teaching and contributing to innovations in the educational system. To be able to conduct action research efficiently, a graduate from a teacher training university should not only realize the significance of action research for their personal and professional development but also be equipped with the necessary methods and techniques and have an enquiry stance. 
 The purpose of the article is to highlight the features of the process of developing students' research competence while their studying for a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Department of Foreign Philology of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. The described model appeared as a result of the implementation of the new national curriculum in methods of teaching English as a foreign language. 
 The methodology of the study involves both a critical analysis of the models of action research currently employed in teacher education and empirical methods investigating our own daily activities as educators (observation and the participants’ structured interviews). Structured interviews of 20 student teachers were taped, transcribed and analysed by the research educators engaged in the study. 
 Results. The authors described the principles and stages of developing students’ research competence at the Department of Foreign Philology of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. The results of the structured interviews prove the significant role of action research in teacher education. In the course of their training, the students gradually become aware of the challenges of action research, ways to overcome them and the relevance of it for teachers’ professional and personal growth. 
 Conclusions. The suggested system of developing pre-service teachers’ research competence proved its obvious benefits for educating reflective practitioners able to become agents of change.
