Abstract

The article provides an overview of the educational process of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University during the period of martial law. The potential of Skovoroda University as an educational center of Kharkiv Oblast, functioning during the war and continuing to provide professional training of specialists, is described. Since the situation in wartime Kharkiv and the region is similar to the historical processes of 1941–1943 (the years of the occupation of Kharkiv by the Third Reich), the purpose of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the art education during the period of military confrontation in 2022 and during the period of German occupation. The result of the study is a presentation of the image policy of Kharkiv universities, primarily H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, which reveals the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in wartime conditions. The practical significance of the study lies in using the acquired experience of the educational process organization, effective pedagogical and information technologies that allow to provide a high-quality functioning of the art education system in the conditions of martial law. It can be concluded that today the educational community should organize not only effective resistance to the Russian aggressor, but also be able to quickly adapt in the changing conditions of the war, using information and communication technologies for providing the quality of the educational process.
