Now a days the cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT) become the most importance technologies that are both used in our life. As we know the Internet of Things (IoT) is generally characterized by real world small things,. It allows billions of devices to be connected and communicate with each other to share information that improves the quality of our daily lives. in the other ways, Cloud Computing has virtually unlimited capabilities in terms of storage and processing power, is a much more mature technology, and has most of the IoT issues at least partially solved. That is why their adoption and use are expected to be more extensive and more importance, thus, a novel IT paradigm in which Cloud and IOT are two complementary technologies merged together is expected to offer the best quality of services, and this new paradigm called Cloud Iot paradigm. Therefore, the integration of cloud and Internet of Things to providing the best service to users and have the highest level of customer satisfaction should always provide quality of service can be guaranteed. The purpose and the aim of this paper is to evaluate the integrity requirements of cloud services and Internet of Things, and to achieve this aim we used descriptive methodology to describe and to recognize about the cloud computing and the internet of things; so that quality of service in these services must be guaranteed. Early Formalization of AI-tools Usage in Software Engineering in Europe: Study of 2023

This scientific article presents the results of a study focused on the current practices and future prospects of AI-tools usage, specifically large language models (LLMs), in software development (SD) processes within European IT companies. The Pan-European study covers 35 SD teams from all regions of Europe and consists of three sections: the first section explores the current adoption of AI-tools in software production, the second section addresses common challenges in LLMs implementation, and the third section provides a forecast of the tech future in AI-tools development for SD. The study reveals that AI-tools, particularly LLMs, have gained popularity and approbation in European IT companies for tasks related to software design and construction, coding, and software documentation. However, their usage for business and system analysis remains limited. Nevertheless, challenges such as resource constraints and organizational resistance are evident. The article also highlights the potential of AI-tools in the software development process, such as automating routine operations, speeding up work processes, and enhancing software product excellence. Moreover, the research examines the transformation of IT paradigms driven by AI-tools, leading to changes in the skill sets of software developers. Although the impact of LLMs on the software development industry is perceived as modest, experts anticipate significant changes in the next 10 years, including AI-tools integration into advanced IDEs, software project management systems, and product management tools. Ethical concerns about data ownership, information security and legal aspects of AI-tools usage are also discussed, with experts emphasizing the need for legal formalization and regulation in the AI domain. Overall, the study highlights the growing importance and potential of AI-tools in software development, as well as the need for careful consideration of challenges and ethical implications to fully leverage their benefits.

ECM: Enhanced confidentiality method to ensure the secure migration of data in VM to cloud environment

Cloud is the technology behind all modern IT paradigms today. All kinds of applications run in the cloud environment and host their data. Enterprises show interest in migrating their data and servers to the cloud to benefit the cloud. The cloud is an open distributed network environment; hence, it is vulnerable to data security attacks. Migration in cloud computing permits the handover of resources, for example, virtual machine (VM) and data from off-premises to on-premises. During the migration, the data needs to be secured. This paper proposes an enhanced confidentiality technique (ECM) to ensure data security when migrated to the cloud. The proposed enhancement is on the advanced encryption standard (AES) to strengthen the protection level of the AES. The standard AES runs for rounds with four unique stages of data processing: Substitute bytes, add round key, shift rows and mix columns. The proposed ECM enhances the substitute bytes stage with dynamic substitution boxes for each round of the AES. The proposed ECM is evaluated for its efficiency by the avalanche effect. The result of the ECM improves data protection when the data is migrated to the cloud.

Cloudlet and Virtual Machine Performance Enhancement With CLARA and Evolutionary Paradigm

The standardised IT paradigm pools services together as an internet network is cloud computing. So, management of the load by cloud providers at this point is difficult and hence manifests the existence of load balancing concept. The aim of proposed algorithm is to enhance the performance by minimizing results, which includes Execution time, Makespan time, and Processing Cost, and maximizing throughput, using ABC Optimization. R code is used to execute the algorithm, and dataset is processed using Microsoft Excel 2007. In the dataset, the MIPS of VMs range from 2000-9000 and bandwidth range from 10000-50000. Finally, it is concluded that, for 3 clusters, the efficiency rate of execution time, makespan time, and processing cost lies between 18%-20% and throughput and degree of imbalance are approximately 16% and 6%, respectively, when compared with the previous work; and for 10 clusters, the efficiency rate of execution time and makespan time raises to approximately 50% with processing cost, throughput, and degree of imbalance as approximately 72%, 33%, and 4%, respectively.

Business process redesign towards IoT-enabled context-awareness: the case of a Chinese bulk port

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to contribute to the extant literature about the co-evolvement of Business Process Management (BPM) and the Internet of Things (IoT) by proposing the IoT-enabled Context-aware BPM (IoT-CaBPM) framework to bridge from the IoT infrastructure to context-aware business processes.Design/methodology/approachMotivated by the “Three Waves” of BPM research, IoT-enabled context-awareness is, therefore, expected to be achieved for enhancing the business process design, which pilots a new wave of BPR (Business Process Redesign/Reengineering) to enable the business process coevolve with IoT and analytics. This paper reports an illustrative case study of BPR in a Chinese bulk port, one of the hub seaports that widely adopted IoT technologies over the last few years.FindingsThe IoT implementation and data analytics has increased the efficiency and improve the monitoring effectively. The proposed IoT-CaBPM framework availably helps to identify and match nodes of IoT devices, business decisions and analytic models in order to redesign a business process towards context-aware variability. As IoT is rapidly becoming the new dominant IT paradigm is moving towards mature implementation in various industries, the corresponding BPR must be planned and executed strategically for achieving better benefits.Originality/valueDespite some research extend BPM standard by integrating IoT devices as a sort of resources or report generically that the ports operations are affected by IoT, there is still a lack of layers from the IoT infrastructure to context-aware business processes. An industrial BPR case with business models in detail is also a lack for presenting the specific implications and effectiveness of the adoption of such technologies. This paper fills in this gap.

SAIoT: Scalable Anomaly-Aware Services Composition in CloudIoT Environments

Among the novel IT paradigms, cloud computing and the Internet of Things (CloudIoT) are two complementary areas designed to support the creation of smart cities and application services. The CloudIoT not only presents ubiquitous services through IoT nodes but it also provides virtually unlimited resources through services composition. The services composition problem aims to find a set of services among functionally equivalent services with different Quality of Service (QoS) concerning users’ constraints. To this aim, previous studies calculate QoS values through service logs without considering the presence of anomalies in the existing QoS values; however, the dynamicity of distributed service environments and communication networks in CloudIoT environments causes anomalies in the QoS values. Therefore, existing approaches fail to model QoS values accurately that leads to service-level agreement (SLA) violation and penalties for service broker. To address this challenge, we propose a scalable anomaly-aware approach (SAIoT) including two main components: the first component models QoS values based on a machine learning anomaly detection technique, to remove the existing abnormal QoS records, and the second component finds a near-optimal composition by using an effective and efficient metaheuristic algorithm. The experimental results based on real-world data sets show that our approach achieves 30.64% of the average improvement in the QoS value of a composite plan with equal or even less price compared to the previous works, such as information theory-based and advertised QoS-based methods.

Rekayasa Informasi Untuk Mendukung Keberlangsungan Proses Service Level Management

The main component of the entire strategy in Service Level Management (SLM) as a service provider is shown by implementing the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The service provider has to always guarantee that SLA which is indeed determined for a customer is achieved and fulfilled. The thing causing a failure in fulfilment of SLA is the expectation of business that is categorized in high indication while SLA establishment is still in progress, so it is indicated that there is a difference of perception between business and IT paradigm. The aim of this study is to build a framework to facilitate the achievement of a balance between the expected quality for the customer as the receiver party and the service which is offered by a service provider. The methodology which is applied in this study is by using an approach of informationengineering that consists of planning the analysis of related vision, planning of the technology effect, analysis of critical success factor, analysis of problem and purpose, as well as the identification of business area. The research which is conducted has given an obvious perspective paradigm in general that an integrated information system is indeed needed into the implementation of SLM to complete the significance among the functional divisions in a company

TRUST EVALUATION & ENHANCEMENT: AN APPARATUS TO GET COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

The reparations offered by cloud computing, make it admired & accepted among enterprises and individuals. This IT paradigm has seen a sharp rise in the last one and half decade. At its infancy stage, this technology has changed every body's perception of storage, infrastructure, software installation, software support, and development. The credit goes to the architecture of the technology which makes it possible to offer premium resources at economical prices, scalability of resources depending upon requirements and the most important financials are based on usage. In this success & acceptance ride, technology also had its share of breakers Like security, Trust, Privacy. These hurdles are making current and future consumers hesitant about adopting the technology. Along with technology growth, last few years have witnessed a sharp rise in security lapse cases. These incidences are raising questions about security & privacy of data and information and finally leaving marks on the "Trust" relation between service consumer and service provider. In order to strengthen the relationship with service consumer, it is the responsibility of the provider to endow consumers with secure enclosures to keep their data and information protected. Standards and certifications are considered as best practices for providing security assurances in Information Technology. The objective of the paper is to design a framework that can help the provider to overcome this un-trusty situation, by converting one of the hesitant factors "Trust" into competitive advantage component by attaining suggested certifications or adopting recommended standards.

Secure Information Sharing System for Online Patient Networks

Recently, privacy emerged as a hot issue again, as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of EU has become enforceable since May 25, 2018. This paper deals with the problem of health information sharing on a website securely and with preserving privacy. In the context of patient networks (such as ‘PatientsLikeMe’ or ‘CureTogether’), we propose the model Secure Information Sharing System (SISS) with the main method of group key cryptosystem. SISS addresses important problems of group key systems. (1) The new developed equations for encryption and decryption can eliminate the rekeying and redistribution process for every membership-change of the group, keeping the security requirements. (2) The new 3D Stereoscopic Image Mobile Security Technology with AR (augmented reality) solves the problem of conspiracy by group members. (3) SISS uses the reversed one-way hash chain to guarantee forward secrecy and backward accessibility (security requirements for information sharing in a group). We conduct a security analysis of SISS according to group information sharing secrecy and an experiment on its performance. Consequently, although current IT paradigm is changing to be more and more ‘complicated’, ‘overlapped’, and ‘virtualized’, SISS makes it possible to securely share sensitive information from collaborative work.

The Biochemical Model of Life Loses: Its Scientific Value

Abstract The human biological system creates the image structure of the world not only based on the electromagnetic and acoustic wave received by the senses, but also based on the soliton, spin and bio-plasm wave. This is a new face of knowledge for psychology and philosophy and can be directed to new research, hitherto unknown. The biochemical model is not sufficient to explain the perception and nature of mental processes, because it is too poor in scientific concepts and is based on classical science. The perception and nature of mental processes should be explained outside the biochemical model, also based on the bioelectronic model, and the IT and cybernetic paradigm.

Li-Fi based on security cloud framework for future IT environment

In the new era of the Internet of Things (IoT), all information related to the environment, things and humans is connected to networks. Humans, too, can be considered an integral part of the IoT ecosystem. The growing human-centricity of IoT applications raises the need greater dynamicity, heterogeneity, and scalability in future IoT systems. Recently, the IoT and cloud computing have both evolved as emerging technologies and have already become part of our daily life. The complementary features of the IoT and cloud are forming a new IT paradigm to meet current and future requirements. Due to the increased demand for and volume of IoT data, it has become a critical challenge to transfer data from the edge of the network to computing data centers due to the limitations of network bandwidth and higher latency delay. The emergence of the new paradigm of computing in the cloud computing architecture has made it necessary to overcome the inherent limitations of cloud computing, such as location awareness, scalability, energy efficiency, mobility, bandwidth bottlenecks, and latency delay. To address these issues, this paper proposes an efficient hybrid cloud architecture framework coupled with Li-Fi communication for a human-centric IoT network. It also introduces the architecture of the local cloud to reduce the latency delay and bandwidth cost and to improve efficiency, security, reliability and availability. Finally, the paper discusses the communication modulation schemes in the Li-Fi technique and presents scenarios involving the application of the proposed model in the real world.

Pharmacy preparations: Back in the limelight? Pharmacists make up your mind!

In this contribution to the theme issue recognizing prof. Florence’s achievements as editor –in-chief of the Int. J. Pharmaceutics, we analyze the future of pharmacy preparations (also known as extemporaneous preparations or compounded products). Pharmacy preparations, long considered as an endangered part of the pharmacy profession on its way to extinction, may be at the brink of a revival. Drivers of this revival are a set of changes related to new clinical concepts and supply shortages. Moreover, new production and IT paradigms are being developed that facilitate the preparation processes and provide the necessary quality management systems. Finally, more detailed legislation (EU) and guidelines (US) gets a better hold on preparation in pharmacies.The question is now: is the pharmacy profession willing to accept preparation of high quality medicines in the pharmacy as an integral part of its professional tasks? If so, institutions for pharmacy education should provide the required competences to the pharmacy student. If not, alternative scenarios with other disciplines taking the lead should be considered. Whatever the choice made, the ‘Physicochemical principles of pharmacy: in manufacture, formulation and clinical use’ by Florence and Attwood (2016); will be on the engineer/pharmacy student’s desk.

REVIEW IN CLOUD BASED NEXT GENERATION TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK

The development of cloud computing technologies is rapidly accelerating the integration of telecommunications services and the Internet, by adopting the cloud model the telecommunications industry can on demand ,organize and apply telecommunication resources as a services .The NGN (Next Generation Network), and IMS (intelligent multimedia subsystem) are essentially developed to provide multimedia services over an all-IP based network, however the full realization of both solutions is still is not reachable and it is still far from being widely deployed specially for the IMS, this is despite the development that has been undergoing for years .The main reasons behind that, is the increasing demands by consumers, fast evolving access technologies , complexity of implementations to meet these growing demands. Cloud computing as fast evolving IT paradigm can be considered as solution for scalability issue of NGN and IMS which may lead to the full realization of NGN and IMS .This Paper presents literature review on researches and trials on cloud based NGN and IMS.

Cloud Computing Governance Readiness Assessment: Case Study of a local Airline Company

Cloud computing has attracted interest from both and public sector, especially the organizations that seek innovative ways to save money while increasing the trust and value of their IT systems. It shifted the traditional IT paradigm by extending Information Technology‟s existing capabilities by offering high scalability capabilities, reduced time to market, transformation of CAPEX to OPEX thus offering cost advantages as well as efficient use of computing resources due to pay-per-use nature of cloud services. Despite these advantages it offers against on-premise IT platforms; many enterprise customers are still reluctant to deploy their business in the cloud. Additionally, many organizations that have adopted cloud services did so without clear cloud governance policies; therefore they fail to reap the many benefits that cloud computing offers. Further, most organizations don‟t have mechanisms to measure their cloud governance maturity, and therefore may not identify the opportunities of improvement in their cloud governance for better value delivery. This research sought to assess the cloud governance readiness of a local airline by identifying the various opportunities cloud computing offers as well as the challenges it presents to the organization, establish the various factors that contribute to and the extent to which they influence effective cloud governance in the organization, determine the cloud computing capability maturity level of the organization‟s and give recommendations on how the organization can improve cloud governance to attain a higher maturity level.

In this paper, the main requirements for each telecommunicational environment of smart grid were examined, precedent studies were analyzed, and the kinds of security service to meet these requirements and to offer high quality of security of information was analyzed. And then, based on the defined research framework, the types of abuse of personal information and the consideration for privacy and information protection and the methods to protect them were studied. Grounded on this research, more systematic study on the security technology of smart grid was to be conducted.

MPI applications' performances in native vs. virtualized environments using InfiniBand IPoIB virtualization and live migration

Over recent years we have seen a constant evolution of High-Performance Computing moving into commodity servers cluster types of systems. At the same time we have seen Cloud Computing being a proven, stable and reliable IT paradigm, utilising virtualized clusters of commodity servers as key components. This paper presents a face-to-face native-to-virtual HPC MPI application performance analysis on a range of general-use HPC applications by virtualizing InfiniBand via IPoIB at the guest virtual machine level on VMware ESXi as well as KVM hypervisor with production ready live migration support. Applications running on various small and medium HPC clusters are targeted to address users, considering full IT infrastructure virtualization by merging general purpose with HPC IT infrastructure. Live migration is a key component within a virtualized environment as it enables dynamic virtual IT infrastructure, therefore live migration performance impact is evaluated through a pluggable multi-platform architecture on a proactive fault-tolerance use case.

차량 클라우드 환경에서 안전한 통신을 위한 프레임워크 설계

Vehicle cloud technology is a fusion technology of vehicle communication technology and cloud computing used in wired and wireless Internet, and has attracted attention as a new IT paradigm. It is expected that it would contribute to resolve the road traffic problem with effective communication by providing computer, sensor, communication, device, and resource. but security is necessary to apply vehicle cloud environment and it have to resolve security threats and various attacks occurred in wired and wireless vehicle environment. Therefore, in this paper, we designed security framework to provide secure communication between vehicle and vehicle, and vehicle and the Road side in the vehicle cloud environment. Safety and security of the vehicle environment was satisfied with the security requirements of the vehicle and cloud-based environment, and increased efficiency than the conventional vehicle network communication protocols.

The Efficiency Comparative Evaluation of IT Service Companies using the Data Envelopment Analysis Approach Focus on KOSDAQ(KOrea Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) Companies

IT paradigm is shifting rapidly from technology-oriented to service-oriented and, therefore, the interest on the efficiency of the IT service industry is increasing. In this study, we measure and compare the efficiency of 32 KOSDAQ(Korea Securities Dealers Automated Quotation) IT service companies. We applied the data envelopment analysis(DEA) to measure the relative efficiency, which is a linear programming model for measuring the relative efficiency of decision making units(DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. Assets and capital were selected as input factor, and sales and operating profit as output factor. The technical efficiency was analyzed by CCR-O, and the pure technical efficiency and the scale efficiency by BBC-O. The rank value analysis was performed applying the super efficiency method to distinguish between the DMUs with the same efficiency level. On the basis of analysis results, the degree of improvement was suggested for inefficient companies by benchmarking efficient companies. We expect that the results of efficiency evaluation and the benchmarking method to improve efficiency obtained in this study will provide fruitful implications for decision making of IT service companies.

A Generic Software Development Process Refined from Best Practices for Cloud Computing

Cloud computing has emerged as more than just a piece of technology, it is rather a new IT paradigm. The philosophy behind cloud computing shares its view with green computing where computing environments and resources are not as subjects to own but as subjects of sustained use. However, converting currently used IT services to Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud computing environments introduces several new risks. To mitigate such risks, existing software development processes must undergo significant remodeling. This study analyzes actual cases of SaaS cloud computing environment adoption as a way to derive four new best practices for software development and incorporates the identified best practices for currently-in-use processes. Furthermore, this study presents a design for generic software development processes that implement the proposed best practices. The design for the generic process has been applied to reinforce the weak points found in SaaS cloud service development practices used by eight enterprises currently developing or operating actual SaaS cloud computing services. Lastly, this study evaluates the applicability of the proposed SaaS cloud oriented development process through analyzing the feedback data collected from actual application to the development of a SaaS cloud service Astation.
