The aim of the research is to identify: (Language ability and its relationship to the development of speaking and writing skills for third-grade intermediate students) To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher put zero hypotheses about the relationship of language ability to the development of my speaking and writing skills. The researcher chose a sample of (240) students from the third intermediate grade students. In (Martyr Ali Alyan Intermediate School for Boys, Cairo Intermediate School for Boys, and Martyr Saeed Ali Intermediate School for Boys) By a random phased method, in order to achieve the goal and reveal the linguistic ability, the researcher adopted a scale (Abdul Razzaq, 2018). Which consists of (15) paragraphs, and to measure speaking skill, the researcher prepared a scale, which consists of (40) paragraphs. And after verifying the validity and stability of the two approved scales, the stability coefficient of each of the two scales was calculated using the (Alpha Korn Bach) equation. All paragraphs of the two scales were of the type of declarative expressions according to gradual alternatives to the answer (always, often, sometimes, no) and with relative weights (0,1,2,3), respectively. In order to measure the writing skill of the third intermediate grade students, the researcher chose a topic for writing which is “Goals and ambitions are not achieved by wishful thinking, but by the will that makes miracles.” He talked about that, he talked about it in an article in which it was found that whoever has the will and determination is able to overcome difficulties no matter how great they are. The researcher applied the two scales and after analyzing and processing the data contained in the research statistically using the statistical bag for social sciences (spss) and the results showed the following; - Linguistic ability has an impact on developing my speaking and writing skills. -There is a statistically significant relationship at the level (0.05) between the three research variables for third-grade intermediate students.
