Use of innovative methods of teaching the discipline “sports and pedagogical improvement” in the conditions of martial law

The article highlights the issues of the features of using the latest innovative methods in the process of teaching the academic discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" for the professional training of future coaches in martial law conditions. The main tasks and directions for the use of innovative methods and means for the effective assimilation of material from the discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" are determined. It has been established that the use of such innovative methods in full makes it possible to maximally improve the teaching of the academic discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" in martial law conditions. The academic discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" is one of the components of basic education, it is aimed, first of all, at the formation of professional knowledge and skills of future specialists in the field of physical education, improving the theoretical and practical training of students, providing opportunities for the further development of professional knowledge, self- realization in future professional activities. Based on the analysis of the development of the modern higher education system in Ukraine, it has been proven that the use of innovative methods in the field of physical education in general, and the subject "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" in particular, requires activation, the search for new ways of improvement, the creation of new innovative technologies directly in the conditions of martial law. One of the ways to solve this problem is the development and implementation of new innovative teaching methods in classes in the discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement", which would direct the future coach towards acquiring the necessary professional knowledge, skills and abilities that meet the requirements of modern life. Today, more than ever, Ukraine needs young qualified specialists in the field of physical education who not only possess modern knowledge, but also know how to apply them in practice. Therefore, the problem of using innovative methods of teaching the discipline "Sports and Pedagogical Improvement" is relevant in the modern conditions of martial law.

Inspiration from Singapore Bilingual Education

This paper explores the bilingual education policies of Singapore and China, emphasizing both the similarities and differences in their formulation and implementation. It examines the unique contexts, objectives, and practices of each country. Furthermore, by reviewing Singapore's innovations and successes in bilingual education, the study evaluates how these successful experiences could serve as a valuable reference for reforming China's bilingual education system. Singapore's bilingual education model emphasizes "English + mother tongue," using English as the main language of communication, while retaining the mother tongue to pass on culture (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil). Bilingual education in Singapore starts from kindergarten and runs through the entire education system, supplemented by innovative teaching methods and technical means to improve students' learning efficiency. This model not only cultivates global talents with bilingual skills but also promotes the coexistence of multiple cultures. Singapore's experience has important implications for China's efforts to improve its bilingual education policy, especially regarding the balance between teaching by students' aptitude and cultural inheritance

Innovation as a market domination strategy in Canadian nanotech firms

This article proposes to understand the concept of “innovation” as an eclectic concept whose different meaning vary according to contextual and organizational factors. The definition of “innovation” is studied from websites of 22 Canadian nanotechnological enterprises. The adopted epistemological position is qualitative interpretative, and the reasoning method is inductive which allowed the emergence of new dimension of the concept of innovation. In that way, the results presented in this research contribute to the extension of existing knowledge on strategy and innovation. The interpretative analysis reveals four meanings of innovation: innovation as market domination strategy, innovation as a creative process and innovation as a value of commitment. Additionally, we suggest that Canadian nanotechnology enterprises focus on innovation strategies based on the development of nanomaterials more than on the development of finished products. Our discussion is built around the multidimensional nature of the concept of innovation and the challenges regarding the transferability of this results on other sectors.

The Impact of Science and Technology Innovation on the Training Management of Athletes

With the rapid development of modern science and technology, innovative technical means are becoming more and more widely used in sports training. This article describes the current development trend of sports science and technology innovation at home and abroad, and systematically investigate the application of biomechanical testing, physiological and biochemical monitoring, artificial intelligence algorithms, virtual reality simulation and other cutting-edge technologies in the field of sports training. It analyzes the role of science and technology innovation in improving the scientific level of sports training, innovating training means and methods, preventing sports injuries, and assisting in training decision-making through the method of case study. The study concludes that scientific and technological innovation has become a key variable in promoting the leapfrog development of competitive sports, and a modernized training system of “scientific training, intelligent training, and data training” should be accelerated in the future, so as to help China's competitive sports achieve a qualitative leap with the advancement of science and technology.

PYTHON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE AS A MEANS OF TRAINING FUTURE TEACHERS OF COMPUTER SCIENCE WHEN WORKING WITH ARDUINO

Abstract. This article explores the possibilities and advantages of using the Python programming language together with Arduino robotics kits in the process of training future computer science teachers in pedagogical educational institutions. Considerable emphasis is placed on analyzing the principles of operation of the simplest programs and devices that can be used to visualize the possibilities of using the Arduino platform and Python libraries to create robots that can be implemented in the educational process and everyday life. The authors have developed the program code and presented a working model of a robot assembled and programmed on the basis of Arduino components to measure humidity in computer laboratories and create automatic plant irrigation systems to maintain proper conditions in classrooms. The article presents an example of integrating the learning of the Python programming language with the use of Arduino robotics kits. This method is aimed at improving the quality of training of future computer science teachers, expanding their methodological arsenal and ensuring the ability to teach students using innovative means. The results of the study and the developed teaching and learning materials will help to interest students in STEM education and prepare a new generation of computer science teachers for the challenges of the modern technological world, expand their methodological arsenal and develop the ability to use integrated technical, engineering and mathematical solutions to solve theoretical and practical problems. In addition, this study can serve as a guide to popularize the use of Arduino and Python in educational institutions, and encourage future computer science teachers to implement STEM and hands-on teaching methods, which will contribute to better student learning and improve the quality of professional education in the field of information technology in general. In general, the study opens up a wide range of opportunities for using modern digital technologies in professional education and stimulates interest in STEM education among computer science teachers and students, thereby contributing to the development of a new generation of engineers and technology leaders. Further research could be aimed at developing specific training courses and methods for integrating the Python programming language and Arduino robotics kits into STEM education. It is important to create interdisciplinary STEM courses with the participation of teachers of computer science, physics, mathematics, vocational education in the IT industry, etc.

Research Progress of Isoxazoline Insecticides

Abstract: Isoxazoline insecticides constitute a class of compounds featuring the isoxazoline structure, which primarily exert their effects by inhibiting the γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA)- gated chloride channel in insects. GABA serves as the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in invertebrates, with its receptor composed of subunits encoded by the Rdl gene. By selectively inhibiting the GABA-Cl receptor subunit in invertebrates, isoxazolines block inhibitory neurotransmission, ultimately resulting in insect mortality. This unique mechanism of action endows isoxazolines with a high degree of selective toxicity toward insects while maintaining relative safety for mammals. Recently, isoxazoline insecticides have garnered considerable attention due to their broad-spectrum efficacy, high potency, and environmentally friendly profile. These compounds have emerged as promising solutions in crop protection and animal health management, offering innovative means to combat insect pests and parasites. Their development represents a significant advancement in pesticides, offering farmers and veterinarians effective and sustainable options for managing agricultural and animal health challenges. This review mainly introduces the current commercialized and under-development isoxazoline insecticides, the research progress on the mechanism of action of isoxazoline insecticides, the study of synthetic methods, as well as the research progress in structural derivation and structure-activity relationship.

Innovation in Decision-making Models Applied by Enterprises: Determinants of Organisational Innovation

Objective: The paper addresses innovation as a vital issue in management. The meaning of innovation is analysed in knowledge management and business strategy. The intention of the article is to present the innovation issue from the model perspective and to illustrate the mentioned matters based on research results. Research Design & Methods: The research problem was how to apply innovation in a decision-making model and describing the determinants of its implementation. Findings: The findings help address a number of results. The study tests a decision-making model, collaboration between managers in enterprises, and their support for innovation. Implications / Recommendations: When making decisions, enterprises must account for problems brought about by innovation in their current operations and strategy. Unfortunately, upwards of 40% of enterprises do not cooperate with research and development organisations. Further research will be required to understand why not. Contribution: This study has a range of implications for innovation researchers. It argues for increased attention to the decision-making process in the context of organisational innovation.

Terminal Tryptophan-Directed Anisotropic Self-Assembly for Precise Protein Nanostructure Regulation.

A common challenge in nanotechnology is synthesizing nanomaterials with well-defined structures. In particular, it remains a major unresolved challenge to precisely regulate the structure and function of protein nanomaterials, which are structurally diverse, highly ordered, and complex and offer an innovative means that enables a high performance in various nanodevices, which is rarely achievable with other nanomaterials. Here an innovative approach is proposed to fabricating multi-dimensional (0- to 3D) protein nanostructures with functional and structural specialties via molecular-level regulation. This approach is based on a stable, consistent, anisotropic self-assembly of Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) coat protein-derived engineered building blocks where genetically added tryptophan residues are externally tailored. The unique structural characteristics of each nanostructure above are demonstrated in detail through various analyses (electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, dynamic light scattering, and small-angle X-ray scattering) and further investigated through molecular dynamics simulations, indicating that this control, anisotropic, and molecular assembly-based approach to regulating protein nanostructures holdsgreat potential for customizing a variety of nanomaterials with unique functions and structures.

The work is devoted to the efficiency study of the use by the Russian Federation customs authorities officials during customs examination of inspection and screening complexes and other technical means of customs control. It is established that due to the government measures implementation involving the transition to domestic appliances and components, and because of the inspection and screening complexes constant modernization, the questions about other technical means of customs control use expediency are risen. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that the use of screening complexes and other innovative technical means during customs control implies the dominance of automated procedures, digital solutions and methods of customs control over the usual actual customs control with the participation of a customs official.

Product System and Design Innovation Path Study

This paper discusses in depth the path of product system and design innovation and its practical application in enterprise product development. Through the detailed analysis of product system design innovation path, this paper reveals the important role of multi-dimensional innovation means such as technology path, market path and organization path in enhancing product competitiveness and market adaptability. At the same time, this paper also focuses on the user experience innovation, brand innovation and cultural innovation in the design innovation path, pointing out that these paths not only help to enhance the attractiveness of the product and user stickiness, but also effectively shape the unique brand image and cultural value of the enterprise.

Using the mind map method in medical education, its advantages and challenges: A systematic review.

Mind mapping stands as a contemporary approach to education, introducing an innovative means of teaching and learning. In current times, this technique is embraced due to its ability to enhance the learning and retention process. This investigation explored the imperative nature of adopting novel educational methodologies such as mind mapping, while also examining its benefits and constraints. During the timeframe spanning from 2000 to 2023, the terms "mind map," "medical education," and "thinking skills" were employed as keywords to conduct searches across nine databases: PubMed, Cochrane, Web of Sciences, Science Direct, ProQuest, CNHL, Springer, Wiley, and Google Scholar. After conducting searches across the aforementioned databases, a total of 63 articles were retrieved. Following the elimination of duplicated entries and articles that did not align with the predefined inclusion criteria, the examination focused on 10 relevant articles. This analysis adhered to the guidelines outlined by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) protocol, available at www.prisma-statement.org. The examination revealed a multitude of notable advantages associated with the implementation of mind maps which are classified into three groups (Enhancing Memory and Comprehension, Fostering Intellectual Growth, Streamlining Learning and Teaching). Additionally, two challenges of the studies were mentioned. Considering the positive ratio of merits to challenges, it is anticipated that this educational methodology will be increasingly incorporated into medical education, owing to its paramount importance and potential.

Innovative Presentation of Song Dynasty Painting Art in Contemporary Curatorial Exhibitions

Song Dynasty paintings have occupied an important position in the history of Chinese and even world art with their unique artistic language, profound cultural connotation, and excellent skills. With the growing maturity and diversification of contemporary curatorial concepts and the development of culture + technology, the way of displaying Song Dynasty paintings is also changing. This study focuses on how Song Dynasty paintings are innovatively presented in contemporary curatorial practice, aiming to explore the reasons behind this innovation, the content of the practice, and the far-reaching impact of this exploration on the inheritance and development of Song Dynasty paintings, as well as on their dissemination, through literature analysis, case studies, and field visits. It is found that contemporary curation, through the use of digital technology, interactive experience, and other innovative means, has successfully presented the art of Song Dynasty paintings to the audience in a more vivid and intuitive way, which greatly enhances the audience's viewing experience and depth of understanding. This exploration not only enriches the form and connotation of art display, but also provides new ideas and paths for the inheritance and development of traditional culture, which is of great significance to the promotion of the international dissemination and protection of Song Dynasty painting art.

Developing a trauma-informed care graphic narrative educational tool for emergency trauma nurses

BackgroundIn the emergency department, communicating therapeutically to optimize health outcomes is crucial when caring for trauma survivors. Graphic narratives are an innovative means of conveying critical nursing concepts to emergency trauma nurses that have the potential to promote enhanced application of trauma-informed care core values to clinical practice. PurposeThe purpose of this manuscript is to describe the initial step of developing a graphic narrative educational tool depicting clinical scenarios in which trauma-informed care values are employed in an emergency department setting. Content validation by subject matter experts’ approach was taken to create a graphic narrative tool reflective of the core values of trauma-informed care. MethodsA graphic narrative was created as an educational tool that included examples of nurses using core trauma-informed care values to provide nursing care to trauma survivors. Content Validation by subject matter experts’ approach was used to ensure that the core values of trauma-informed care were reflected in the script and visuals, or graphics, depicted in this tool. ResultsThe development of a graphic narrative educational tool, compiled into a study guide, was designed to educate emergency trauma nurses in the specialized knowledge and TIC competencies needed to care for trauma survivors who have experienced acute trauma. The finalized four graphic narratives encompassing the six core values of TIC show nurse-patient interactions that demonstrate how the nurse would apply TIC in specific clinical situations. ConclusionThe collaborative review process utilized in this study highlights a process of content validation by subject matter experts’ that can be useful for other nurse educators who collaborate with graphic artists to develop graphic narratives. Graphic narratives show through vivid imagery the powerful healing delivered to trauma survivors through trauma-informed care and can move nurses to employ this approach in every patient interaction.

Co-designing with and for Small and Remote Communities: Reflections on Transformative Innovation, Servitisation, and Agonism.

Within the conceptual framework of design for social innovation and democracy, this paper reports on implementing participatory processes in regenerating public spaces in semi-rural contexts, questioning the meaning of transformative innovation, servitisation, and agonism in non-urban contexts. This inquiry argues for exploring a reassessment of how we enact participatory public space regeneration strategies through their application in a remote context. The latter has been untouched by all the bottom-up initiatives and movements that have swept through European urban centres over the last fifteen years; returning to the urban space with these reflections could provide an opportunity to explore new perspectives, even in a saturated context, questioning the models of metropolitan practices. By challenging the paradigm of innovation as the only direction associated with a valid process of improvement and change, this paper delves into the urgency of looking at co-design processes through the lenses of decoloniality, relationality and agonism, creating moments of reflexivity inside the research team and with the local community. Our reflections and learnings stem from “Human Cities / SMOTIES, Creative Works with Small and Remote Places”, a participatory design project that examines community engagement methods for co-designing public spaces and transformations in European rural areas, specifically Albugnano, a small town in northern Italy. Setting the Albugnano community as an experimental ground, the case study addresses the lack of valorisation of tangible and intangible heritage, depopulation and social fragmentation by unpacking narratives, nurturing social imagination, and collectively envisioning and designing potential regenerative transformations.

Privatisation of Higher Education: A Study on Students’ Perspective

Education is globally considered as an important investment in building human capital. Human capital is the means of all technical innovation and economic growth. Providing education to all is considered as primary duty of the government. The government has shifted its focus from higher to primary education, while opening the door for the private sector to participate in higher education, a development known as the privatization of higher education. This has sparked a growing trend of educational privatization across the country. At the same time, the demand for higher education in India is rising rapidly. The government of India realized that public budgets cannot adequately fund higher education need of vast population. So, the government has taken measures such as, hike in student fees, student loans and privatization; in justification of availability and mobilization of resources to expand higher education. These measures have made higher education a lucrative business for industrialists. A large number of private institutions are encouraged to enter in education sector. On the one hand privatization of higher education made education assessable to the masses; on the other hand, it brings fee hike, poor quality, exploitation of professionals etc. There are views for and against privatization of higher education in India. Though some have been criticizing the concept even before it has come to be defined and taken off the ground, others consider it very useful and need of the hour. As students are the most important stakeholders of education system. The present study is an attempt to analyses the attitude of students of higher educational institutions towards privatization of higher education.

Biblical apocrypha and the in-betweenness of maskilic translation

ABSTRACT In recent years, the role of translation in the Jewish Enlightenment (Haskalah) has become the focus of increasing scholarly attention. Often, the maskilic engagement with translation is viewed as an unambiguous route to modernity and to modern Jewish literature. But while the maskilim’s utilization of translation as a means for cultural innovation is now almost a truism among literary historians, their hesitations surrounding the importation of foreign works into the Hebrew literary sphere have been largely overlooked. This article discusses the translation of biblical apocrypha in the early Haskalah. It argues that the tangential position of translation in general, and the translation of biblical apocrypha in particular, posited this literary activity as an especially productive platform for unpacking concerns surrounding the means, forms, and languages of interreligious dialogue. For the maskilim, translation was not merely a device for literary and cultural modernization, so much as it was a way of reflecting on the promise and perils of modernity.

Responsive service design and workforce strengthening: Recommendations to improve aged care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This study aimed to develop innovative and practical strategies and recommendations for aged care policy and practice that support the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A research symposium was held in June 2023 on Kaurna Country at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. The symposium brought together 70 attendees including aged care consumers, Federal and State Government representatives, advocacy services, health, aged care and social service providers, and health and aged care researchers. Two roundtable sessions titled 'Responsive Service Design' and 'Workforce Strengthening' were conducted following a World Café approach. Data were analysed thematically. This paper proposes recommendations relating to innovation and improvement within aged care policy and practice. Recommendations for responsive service design and workforce strengthening include the following: (1) promote genuine engagement and involvement, (2) establish partnerships between sectors, (3) ensure compliance, (4) innovative communication and feedback pathways, (5) holistic approaches to well-being, (6) prioritise cultural safety and (7) flexible recruitment and retention strategies. Working together and building partnerships between diverse stakeholders including community members, workforce, service providers and policymakers is required for sustainable and meaningful innovation within the aged care sector. Our recommendations, driven by community needs, provide an opportunity to ensure the innovation and implementation of ongoing aged care reforms meet the needs and expectations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Bedhayan Gagrag Sumirat Puspito dance: The innovation in conveying Islamic da’wah through arts

The development of Islam in Indonesia has been affected by Islamic organizations that use cultural acculturation to integrate local traditions into religious practices. Muhammadiyah, which is active in social and educational initiatives, integrates traditional arts such as dance to subtly spread Islamic values, represented by Bedhayan Gagrag Sumirat. This integration enriches cultural heritage while promoting religious teachings, serving as a form of da’wah among the Indonesian Muslim community. The aim of this research is to study social phenomena in society regarding the cultural acculturation of Yogyakarta and Malang through the Bedhayan Gagarag Sumirat dance which is integrated with Muhammadiyah Islam. This research was conducted qualitative approach using observations and interviews. The research results in the process of the Bedhayan Gagrag Sumirat Dance are a form of cultural acculturation of Yogyakarta and Malang with integrated Muhammadiyah Islamic values. The Bedhayan Gagrag Sumirat dance not only depicts the richness of local culture, but also teaches Muhammadiyah Islamic values. As an innovative and effective means of preaching, this modern dance reflects local cultural harmony and conveys religious messages through art.

Prediction of the impact of tobacco waste hydrothermal products on compost microbial growth using hyperspectral imaging combined with machine learning.

The insufficient understanding of the impact of hydrothermal products on the growth characteristics of compost microorganisms presents a significant challenge to the broader implementation of hydrothermal coupled composting for tobacco waste. Traditional biochemical detection methods are labor-intensive and time-consuming, highlighting the need for faster and more accurate alternatives. This study investigated the effects of hydrothermal treatment on tobacco straw products and their influence on compost microorganism growth, using hyperspectral imaging (HSI) technology and machine learning algorithms. Sixty-one tobacco straw samples were analyzed with a hyperspectral camera, and image processing was used to extract average spectra from regions of interest (ROI). Hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) and principal component analysis (PCA) were applied to assess four key variables: nicotine content, total humic acid content, Penicillium chrysogenum H/C ratio, and Bacillus subtilis OD600 ratio. The effects of hydrothermal treatment on compost were classified as promoting, inhibiting, or neutral regarding microbial growth. The Competitive Adaptive Reweighted Sampling (CARS) method identified the most influential wavelengths in the 900-1700 nm spectral range. The Random Forest (RF) model outperformed SVM, KNN, and XGBoost models in predicting microbial growth responses, achieving R c = 0.957, RMSE = 3.584. Key wavelengths were identified at 1096 nm, 1101 nm, 1163 nm, 1335 nm, and 1421 nm. The results indicate that hyperspectral imaging combined with machine learning can accurately predict changes in the chemical composition of tobacco straws and their effects on microbial activity. This method provides an innovative and effective means of improving the resource usage of tobacco straws in composting, enhancing sustainable waste management procedures.
