The development of industrial enterprises requires new approaches to management and adaptation to modern trends. The rapid development and dissemination of digital technologies have a profound impact on the land-scape of production processes and the business models employed. The priority task of any modern enterprise is to identify and reduce losses, as this is the basis for successful activity. The “Lean Manufacturing” system effectively addresses this task, as its objective also lies in improving the efficiency of enterprise activities. The developed methodology of “strengthening the competitiveness of the enterprise by increasing the profitability of the project of pre-production and release of automotive components” allows at the stage of technological design not only to obtain information for quality management of the automotive component, but also to prevent potential losses, that is, to increase the profitability of the project. Thus, the use of digital technologies is of great importance for improving the efficiency of enterprises, their competitiveness and profitability. This becomes a prerequisite for their successful work in the modern world.
