Development of student worksheet to improve creative and critical thinking ability of students in causalitic-learning model

The causalitic learning model is a learning model and is designed based on a causalitic thinking approach (causality and analytics). Based on the research results, the causal learning model can be used as an alternative learning model that facilitates the ability to think critically, creatively, solve problems, and increase student learning motivation. The purpose of writing is to develop learning tools (student worksheets) to improve the critical and creative thinking skills of junior high school students in learning the causalitic model. The research method used is 4D which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and design. The results of this research is a special design of student-worksheets for physics learning with a causalitic-model for the material of heat and temperature for the student of junior high schools. Conclusion The resulting worksheets have unique characteristics such as loading phenomena with several elements of cause and effect, recommending the content of phenomena related to daily life, having a causality table, having space for explanations, using scaffolding, using language that is short, clear, easy to understand. understand, and use companion images of the phenomenon.

The Use of Audio Visual Media As an Effort to Increase Student Motivation in Aqidah Akhlak Subjects

The learning process is a process of communication between teachers and students through verbal language as the main medium for delivering learning material. In these conditions, the learning process is very dependent on the teacher as a learning resource. However, not all learning materials can be presented by the teacher directly. To learn how living things live on the seabed, it is impossible for the teacher to guide students directly to the bottom of the ocean, or to cut open the human chest just to learn how the human organs work. However, teachers can use a variety of tools in delivering learning material. Learning aids are what is meant by media or learning aids. In learning Aqidah Akhlak, so that the learning material provided is easier for students to understand, media is needed that helps the delivery process. Through the media (aids), it is hoped that the same perception will occur between teachers and students and can increase children's learning motivation inside and outside the classroom. Moreover, Learning Aqidah Akhlak, namely education that is very important for human life, especially in achieving inner peace and mental health in general. Penerapan Media Schoology untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 3 Bojong Pekalongan

This study aims to analyze the increase in motivation and student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian using schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application. This research method used quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental class implementing Distance Learning with schoology media assisted by the WhatsApp application and class VIII B as the control class without using schoology media. Data collection techniques with knowledge competency tests, questionnaires, and interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research was quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of news text knowledge in the experimental class using schoology media is better than without using schoology media. The average learning outcomes obtained were 81, the average N-gain obtained was 0.72 in good category. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SCRAMBLE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PKn MATERI MENGENAL BENTUK-BENTUK KEPUTUSAN BERSAMA PADA SISWA KELAS V SEMESTER II SD 1 REJOSARI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2017/2018

This study aims to increase the motivation and learning achievement of students in grade V SD 1 Rejosari semester II of the 2017/2018 academic year in the Civics subject, the subject of recognizing the forms of collective decision To achieve this goal, this study was designed in two cycles. The procedure in each cycle includes the following steps: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, 4) reflection. The effectiveness of actions in each cycle is measured from the results of the observations described, interpreted, then reflected to determine corrective actions in the next cycle. The action research carried out in two cycles resulted in the results in cycle I, the results of the observation of motivation reached a score of 3.5 with a value of 70 with a sufficient predicate and on the learning achievement results of 33 students there were 22 students or 66% achieved predetermined completeness while the rest 11 students or 34% have not yet achieved completeness. The highest score obtained by students is 100 while the lowest score is 60, the average student learning outcomes is 75. Data in cycle II on the results of observations of motivation reaches a score of 4.1 with a value of 82 with good predicate and the results of learning achievement show that there are 33 students. 32 students or 96% have achieved the predetermined completeness while the remaining 1 child or 4% have not yet reached the completeness. The highest score obtained by students is 100 while the lowest score is 70. Based on the actions taken, it can be concluded that the application of the scramble learning model can increase the motivation and achievement of the fifth grade students of SD 1 Rejosari semester II of the 2017/2018 academic year in the subject of knowing the forms of collective decision. With an increase in student motivation to learn will have an effect on increasing student achievement.

Improving Student Learning with Aspects of Specifications Grading

In her book Specifications Grading, Linda B. Nilson advocates for a grading regimen she claims will save faculty time, increase student motivation, and improve the quality and rigor of student work. If she is right, there is a strong case for many faculty to adopt some version of the system she recommends. In this paper, we argue that she is mostly right and recommend that faculty move away from traditional grading. We begin by rehearsing the central features of specifications grading and providing two examples of how to implement it in philosophy classes. In light of the examples, we argue that specifications grading fulfills two of Nilson’s central desiderata (increasing rigor and motivating students) but not the third (saving faculty time). Since specifications grading generates two benefits that when combined increase student learning, without adding or increasing burdens, we conclude that student learning increases when courses are revised to include aspects of specifications grading.

The Use of Teaching Aids in Increasing Student Motivation at Elementary School

This study aims to determine the role of teaching aids by teachers in increasing student motivation at Elementary School 027 Samarinda Ulu in the 2019/2020 learning year. The technique of determining the subject used in this research was purposive sampling, and the data analysis techniques used data collection, data selection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The type of triangulation used is source triangulation.The result of the research is that the teacher uses teaching aids that are two-dimensional and three-dimensional. The increase in learning motivation for grade 1B students is good, and this is evidenced by the willingness of students to bring props, increasing the enthusiasm of students to improve their lack of grades, increasing the focus of student learning, the enthusiasm of students in demonstrating the use of teaching aids directly.

Efforts to Increase Student Motivation and Activeness by Using The Zoom Application in SDN 4 Samudra

<p><em>This study aims to determine to what extent the use of the Zoom application in online learning can increase student motivation and activeness in thematic learning theme 4 for grade 3 SDN 4 Samudra. This research was conducted through a cycled assessment process (Classroom Action Research) which included four stages, namely planning (planning), acting, observing (observing) and reflecting (reflexing). Motivation and activeness data were taken from observation sheets during the learning process and self-assessment sheets by students and teachers. The data analysis in this research used quantitative and descriptive qualitative. From the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) The use of the Zoom application in thematic online learning for grade 3 semester 1 SDN 4 Samudra in the 2020/2021 academic year was able to increase student motivation and activeness, (2) There was a positive correlation between motivation and activeness student learning, the more motivated to take part in online learning, the more active students are in learning.</em></p>

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA SMK PERPAJAKAN RIAU

The purpose of this research is to increase students' motivation in participating in the Japanese class of XII grade students of SMK Perpajakan Riau. The material used in this study was a video learning material chapter 3 about self-introduction or Hajimemashite from the Sakura textbook used by Japanese language teachers for teaching. The method used in this research is quantitative research with data collection techniques using a absence via google glassroom. Based on the results of data management, data observation and data analysis, it can be seen that the effect of learning using learning media in the form of PowerPoint and video is more effective. This effectiveness can be used as an indicator of the learning process that uses learning media to further increase student motivation to attend class better than the learning commonly used by teachers in these schools. Researchers hope that this research can improve the online learning methods used by teachers so that they can attract student interest and motivation in online learning so that students will be interested and diligent in participating in learning without feeling bored with the material provided by the teacher in the future, especially during this covid-19 pandemic

PATTERNS OF INCREASING STUDENT MOTIVATION AND LEARNING INTEREST THROUGH LECTURER COMPETENCIES AT UNISKA KEDIRI

Kediri Islamic University (UNISKA) Kediri Is a Private Higher Education Institution organized by a Foundation that is composed based on overall science and technology or following Islamic guidance. The campus is a formal educational institution that has the responsibility to continue to educate students by organizing lecture activities as a realization of the vision and mission and goals of education. The method used in this study is classroom action research that is a systematic study of improving the implementation of educational practices by lecturers by taking actions in learning based on their reflection on the results of those actions. This Classroom Action Research uses a quantitative design to collect and analyze data in the form of numbers using the Population Standard Deviation Formula. The data in this study used a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to the Population Amount. The purpose of this research is to find out the lecturers' competence in Islamic religious subjects towards student learning interest, to find out the increase in student motivation towards learning interest in Islamic religious subjects, to find out positive responses to student questions about lecture material that can link science and Islam in lectures on motivation and learning interest of students of the Faculty of Engineering UNISKA Kediri in First Semesters of the academic year 2019/2020. Based on the results of a questionnaire with a population of 156 students and 122 respondents, which were tested at less than 75% shows a score of three, which means there needs to be an improvement in improving the competence of religious lecturers and building student motivation and interest in learning.

Problem-based learning as a means of chemistry education effectiveness improvement at a medical university

The paper discusses the goals and objectives of problem-based learning, discusses methods of students cognitive activity and cognitive independence stimulation by practical problems solving. Problem-based learning is a necessary condition for increasing students motivation for self-study and self-education, contributes to the development of students cognitive abilities. Problematic interpretation of educational material by practical problems solving, integrated problems with designation of interdisciplinary connections suggest using of a partial search method to optimize students cognitive activity. The relevance of problem-based learning largely lies in its developmental orientation, including various types of situational problems solving in the study of the course chemistry. Special attention is paid to problem-based learning through the case method, actualization of interdisciplinary connections as a didactic principle in teaching. The subject role of the teacher is actualized, which still remains central and coordinating, presupposes a creative approach to work, the presence of fundamental theoretical knowledge, intellectual baggage, global professional thinking and professional culture. The formulation of problematic situations requires innovative thinking, non-standard approaches to learning, contributes to a better understanding of their professional role, democratization and modernization of the educational process. Objective data on the advantages of problem-based learning for the development of students cognitive abilities, manifestation of subjectivity, activation of the acquired knowledge and their application in practice to solve real educational, educational-research and educational-professional tasks, development of systemic clinical thinking capable of providing a high level of training of a modern specialist are presented in health care.

Using Google Classroom to Increase Student Motivation in a Pandemic Period

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to increase the learning motivation of students in class VI Theme 5. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 37 students of class VI SD Negeri 1 Purwanegara in the 2020/2021 academic year. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the use of Google Classroom in online learning during a pandemic can increase student learning motivation Theme 5 class VI SD Negeri 1 Purwanegara academic year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage increase in learning motivation in cycle I by 65% to 84% in cycle II and increasing in cycle III by 95%.</em></p>

The subjects of this study were students in grade 1 SD Negeri Pasekaran 02 in the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 26 students. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that the use of the kahoot application can increase the learning motivation of grade 1 students of SD Negeri Pasekaran 02 in the 2020/2021 school year as evidenced by the percentage of student responses in cycle I there are 12 students with high motivation with a percentage of 46%, 8 students with moderate motivation with a percentage of 31%, and 6 students whose motivation was low with a percentage of 23% while in cycle II there was an increase, namely there were 23 students who had high motivation with a percentage of 88%, and 3 students whose motivation was moderate with a percentage of 12% and in cycle III also experienced an increase, namely there were 25 students with high motivation with a percentage of 96%, and 1 student whose motivation was moderate with a percentage of 4%.</em><em></em></pre>

Research shows that the use of the kahoot application can increase the learning motivation of 5th grade students of SD Negeri Banjaragung 04 for the 2020/2021 school year as evidenced by the percentage of student responses in cycle I there are 10 students with high motivation with a percentage of 43%, 9 students with moderate motivation with a percentage of 39%, and 4 students whose motivation was low with a percentage of 17% while in cycle II there was an increase, namely there were 17 students who had high motivation with a percentage of 74%, 4 students who had moderate motivation with a percentage of 17% and 2 students who low motivation with a percentage of 9% and in cycle III also experienced an increase, namely there were 21 students with high motivation with a percentage of 91%, and 2 students with a moderate percentage of 9%.</em></pre>

Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar PAI di sekolah dan madrasah

This study discusses the use of instructional media in increasing motivation and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in Schools and Madrasas. Learning media is an important thing used by teachers to attract interest and foster student motivation in learning, especially Islamic religious subjects, so that students easily understand the material presented without feeling bored and tired of listening to the teacher's submission. With the aim that PAI learning materials can really be understood and practiced by students after being studied at school and madrasa. The method used in this research is a quantitative qualitative approach that is described descriptively. The findings state that the Rasulullāh sebagai as an excellent educator has also used various forms of media in conveying Islamic education to friends, so that friends are able to understand the teachings of Islam properly and correctly. The results of the study of the use of instructional media show that learning media can provide an increase in student motivation, greatly assisting teachers in implementing the teaching and learning process to achieve the objectives of a learning material. The use of instructional media is also able to provide a great influence in improving student learning outcomes in PAI learning in schools and madrasas.

Sociological methods for solving current practical issues of higher education: action research

The purpose of this article is to review the characteristics and principles of research in action and actualization in this context of sociological methods and relevant research competencies of teachers. Research in action is presented as one that can be used by lecturers to obtain the necessary information about their current students, which is necessary to compensate for socio-cultural barriers to the introduction of student-centered education, choice of teaching methods, increase student motivation, general and subject competencies. Demonstrated that action research are relevant in the perspective of socio-cultural and other aspects (globalization, economic) changes in modern society.The most important features and principles of action research in the field of education are presented. It is emphasized that their purpose is determined not by the priorities of science to create a universal pedagogical theory, but by the specific tasks of practice in a particular audience or class. The principles of action research are developed and widely studied in sociology, directly related to the methods of obtaining data - surveys, interviews, focus group interviews, document analysis, observation, as well as the formulation of the research problem, setting goals and objectives of the study, and questions validity and reliability of research data. Action research procedures demonstrate the use of sociological methodology for the tasks of direct educational practice, so action research as a field of educational activity is not yet widely represented in Ukraine, can receive support and resources from the sociological field. The interaction of action research and sociology is demonstrated through the author's experience in studying students' expectations from the course. The conditions for distance learning during a pandemic are becoming a new field for the development of research practices in action. The task of creating an appropriate learning environment, adequate to the objectives of the course and the nature of the student audience, are more noticeable in the distance, when communication sessions with students are limited in time, and meeting through the screen narrows the field for observing students in the classroom and using teaching intuition.

TEACHER AND PARENT COMMUNICATION PATTERNS IN INCREASING STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION

The purpose of this study is to determine the Communication Patterns of Teachers and Parents of Students in Increasing Student Motivation at SD Negeri 5 Banyu Biru, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. Based on the description of the communication patterns between teachers and parents at SD Negeri 5 Banyu Biru, it can be concluded that the communication patterns used by teachers and parents at SD Negeri 5 Banyu Biru are: a) interpersonal communication because this communication is carried out by two people or more and the message delivered can also be replied directly; b) group communication because communication that occurs in a group can make existing information easily known by other student guardians. There are some Factors supporting and hindering teacher to communicate with parents at SD Negeri 5 Banyu Biru, those are: (1) Guardians who are proactive with their constructive ideas, criticisms and suggestions are one of the supporting factors for communication at SD Negeri 5 Banyu Biru, (2) limited activity in School so that it has a positive effect on smooth communication, especially between teachers and guardians of students, (3) The use of media and technology is not optimal because there are no special teachers to handle or operate school websites. (4) Limited facilities and infrastructure owned by the school.

Objective: The research aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the inverse learning strategy to cognitive achievement and skilled performance in the preparation of some school shoe models for children in the middle stage (6-9) years compared to the traditional way of preparing shoe models Research methodology: This research follows the descriptive analytical approach and the semi-experimental approach.

The Implementation of Blended Learning Model on Motivation and Students’ Learning Achievement

This study aims to determine differences in student motivation and learning achievement in KKPI subjects between students who use the face-to-face learning model and students who use blended learning models, increased motivation and student achievement in KKPI subjects due to the application of the blended model learning, and the interaction of the influence of the application of learning models and motivation on KKPI student learning achievement at SMK 1 Kamal Bangkalan. This quasi-experimental study uses two groups, namely the experimental group using the blended learning model and the control group using the face-to-face learning model. The study population was students of class XI SMKN 1 Kamal Bangkalan. The research sample consisted of 57 students divided into 30 students in the control group and 27 students in the experimental group. Data collection using questionnaires and multiple choice test questions. The results showed that there were significant differences between motivation and student achievement using the blended learning model and students using the face-to-face learning model, there was a significant increase in student motivation and learning achievement due to the application of the blended learning model, and there was no interaction of influence the application of learning models and motivation to student learning achievement.

This research was conducted to determine the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education, and what subject matter uses infocus media, also what are the obstacles experienced by teachers in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education and how the teacher's solution in overcoming obstacles in increase student motivation to learn Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 1 Sigalangan. Based on the background of the problem above, the purpose of this study is to find out how the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education, what materials use infocus media, also what are the obstacles experienced by teachers in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education. and how the teacher's solution in overcoming obstacles in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 1 Sigalangan.The discussion of this research is related to the study of the use of infocus media, in connection with that the approach taken is the theories related to the use of infocus media, the definition of infocus media, the history of the development of infocus media, the advantages and disadvantages of using infocus media, the use of infocus media and constraints on utilization. infocus media.To find out the results of this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach, namely research conducted by observing the surrounding phenomena and analyzing them using descriptive logic by describing and interpreting the object in accordance with what it is. Data analysis was used with qualitative descriptive analysis.Based on the discussion and research results, it can be seen that the use of infocus media in increasing student motivation to learn Islamic religious education is still categorized as good, because the teachers of Islamic Education in this school are still implementing infocus media even though its use is assisted by school staff. And materials that often use infocus media are material on Islamic Cultural Date, Understanding the history of Islamic da'wah, and Understanding praiseworthy and despicable behavior. The obstacles experienced by the teacher were the lack of the teacher's ability to use infocus media and the lack of student interest in attending Islamic Religious Education lessons. The teacher's solution in overcoming these obstacles is only a suggestion from the principal so that teachers make it a habit of using infocus media to be more competent and always provide directions to students to be more active in following Islamic religious education lessons.
