THE CORELATION BETWEEN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION BY HEALTH WORKERS AND THE LEVEL OF PATIENT SATISFACTION IN THE INPATIENT ROOM AT RSUD KABUPATEN BEKASI

Therapeutic communication was able to affect the level of patient satisfaction. Therapeutic communication is a problem that health workers need to pay attention to. However, it turns out that there are still hospitals that provide or carry out therapeutic communication which are considered not good by patients so that most of the patients who visit the hospital feel less satisfied. Therapeutic communication is something that every health worker must master and possess. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the implementation of therapeutic communication by health workers with the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at RSUD Kabupaten Bekasi. This research method is a quantitative type that is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were patients in the inpatient room at Bekasi District Hospital using probability sampling technique with stratified random sampling. Based on the results of statistical analysis using the chi-square test, the p-value was 0.000 ≤ 0.05. This indicates that H0 is rejected. There is a significantly relationship between the implementation of therapeutic communication by health workers with the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at RSUD Kabupaten Bekasi.

The Relationship of Motivation with Therapeutic Communication of Nurses in One of The Public Hospitals in Cimahi City

Therapeutic communication is a major medium to build a therapeutic relationship between nurses and patients. Therapeutic communication that is not carried out properly will cause patients to be less cooperative in accepting every action given, feeling dissatisfied and even asking for forced return. The implementation of this therapeutic communication is influenced by the desire, passion and motivation of the nurse to do the work. An evaluation at a general hospital in Cimahi City, shows that the implementation of this communication was only 80%, which is below the target of 90%. This study aims to determine the relation between nurse motivation and the implementation of therapeutic communication to patients at a general hospital in Cimahi City. A quantitative research and a cross-sectional approach used in the study. Technic sampling used a purposive sampling, 41 nurses being involved. Data was collected with a questionnaire for motivation and observation guidance for the implementation of therapeutic communication. Data analyzed with frequency distribution and chi square test. The results showed that 21 respondents (48,8%) had low motivation, and 19 respondents (46,3%) implemented complete therapeutic communication. Bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between nurse motivation and the application of therapeutic communication with p-value 0.001 (< α=0.05). It is recommended to the hospital management to increase the motivation of nurses by holding various activities or making certain policies.

Nurses perception to the implementation of therapeutic communication in intensive care unit

Therapeutic communication in intensive rooms was a therapeutic communication initiated by nurses to patients with intensive conditions whichrequired critical thinking, fast and precise measures in coping with each patient's needs. To figure out the nurses’ perceptions of the application of therapeutic communication in Intensive room.The study was qualitative phenomenological study, involving eight intensive care nurses participants from IGD, HCU, ICU and NICU. The inclusion criteria were nurses who had worked at least 1 year in the intensive unit, with a minimum education level of bachelor in nursing, through in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed using the Colaizzi method. There were 4 themes identified in the nurses’ perception of the application of therapeutic communication: communication to help the healing process, adaptation and information, stages, technical and benefits of communication. The communication which had not been widely explored wasthe one to help the patients' adaptation process to illness and the communication in emergency situations. The therapeutic communication model is adjusted to the goals and characteristics of patients. Especially for the patients in emergency condition, the nurses are required to have sensitivity and communication skills which have not been sufficiently explored. The communication tends to be directional, not interactive, while the non-verbal communication has not been carried out optimally.

HUBUNGAN PENDIDIKAN DAN LAMA KERJA BIDAN DENGAN PELAKSANAAN KOMUNIKASI TERAPEUTIK DI PUSKESMAS BASUKI RAHMAT KOTA BENGKULU

ABSTRACT In the midwifery care process it cannot be separated from communication, communication is a process of relationship between patient midwives and other health workers. This study aims to study the Relationship of Education and Length of Work with the Implementation of Therapeutic Communication in Puskesmas Basuki Rahmat, Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative study, the population has the same opportunity to be selected as a sample that will be used. The size of the sample in this study is a sampling technique using Total Sampling where sampling is done as a whole where the entire population will be used as a sample as respondents ie 29 midwives . The sampling technique in this study uses total sampling where the overall sampling is done. Data collection in this study using a questionnaire. Research results Of 29 14 midwives whose implementation of therapeutic communication was poor and 15 midwives whose implementation of therapeutic communication was good. Of the 29 midwives there were 18 midwives with DIII education and 11 who had DIV / SI midwife education. Of the 29 midwives, there were 12 midwives 'long duration of work <3 years and there were 17 midwives' ≥ 3 years. There is an educational relationship with the implementation of therapeutic communication in the Basuki Rahmat Health Center in Bengkulu City with a moderate relationship category. There is a long working relationship with the implementation of therapeutic communication at the Basuki Rahmat Health Center in Bengkulu City with a moderate relationship category. Implementation of Therapeutic Communication at Dr. Pirngadi Hospital

This study aims to study intensively about therapeutic communication at General Regional Hospital of Dr. Pirngadi Medan. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. In this study researchers used data collection obtained by conducting research directly in the field. The result shows that implementation of Islamic Communication in therapeutic communication carried out by medical personnel at General Regional Hospital of Dr. Pirngadi Medan applies therapeutic communication in Islamic communication, such as greeting when entering a room, greeting each patient before checking and asking about the development of they health. This is a form of communication that must be carried out by every medical personnel. The model of implementation of Islamic communication in therapeutic communication for healing patients at General Regional Hospital of Dr. Pirngadi Medan is Interpersonal Communication which is considered the most effective because of its dialogical nature in the form of conversation.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF NURSE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION IN CHILDREN AGE OF PRASEKOLAH (6 YEARS) IN THE CARE ROOM 1 POLEWALI MANDAR RSUD

Background: Therapeutic communication is a way to foster therapeutic relationships between nurse-clients. In the communication process occurs the delivery of information, which can be used as an effective tool in providing nursing care to children. There are several possibilities of less successful therapeutic communication in children such as influenced by lack of knowledge of therapeutic communication, nurse attitude, education level, experience, environment, number of perceived power less and others. Treatment room 1 is a children's disease room with a bed capacity of 10 pieces with the number of preschool children as many as 18 people. According to Minister of Health Decree No. 262 year 2000 Ratio of number of beds with number of nurses in non-educational C type RS, 2 beds versus 3-4 nurses. Looking at the data on the number of nurses and the number of bed capacity in the treatment room 1 RSDU Polewali Mandar is very unbalanced, so the likelihood of successful therapeutic communication in children is reduced and can affect the knowledge and attitude of nurses in therapeutic communication in preschoolers. To overcome the problem one of them is by using effective therapeutic communication that will and is being done nursing actions such as digging perassaan, mind, behavioral changes so that will be able to solve psychological problems in preschool age children.The purpose of this study is to know the relationship nurse knowledge level about communication therapeutic with the implementation of therapeutic communication in 6-year-old preschool children in the treatment room 1 RSUD Polewali Mandar. with type of research using cross sectional study The population of this research is mother of balita which is in sub district of Matakali district Polewali Mandar with number 2389 mother of toddler. Sampling is done by total sampling method that is all nurses who work in treatment room I as much as 21 implementing nurses.wwwwwwThe results showed that there was a correlation between the level of nurse knowledge about therapeutic communication with the implementation of therapeutic communication in preschool age children (6 years) in the treatment room 1 RSUD Polewali Mandar. Means there is a tendency that the higher knowledge the better the implementation of therapeutic communication itself, especially in children with significant degree of significance p = 0.007> 0.05 means H1 is rejected and H0 received. Expected to the Public Hospital dareah Polewali Mandar In order to get the maximum service improvement, so that patients and visitors feel satisfied with the services provided.

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION OF NURSES TO THE PARENTS OF PEDIATRIC PATIENTS IN PRE-OPERATIVE STAGE

Background: The pre-operative care aims at preparing the patient and family to face the surgery. In providing nursing care to the pediatric patients, it is better and is recommended that the nurse demonstrate a therapeutic communication.
 Objective: This study aims to identify the implementation of the therapeutic communication by nurses to the parents of the pediatric patients who will undergo surgery in the pediatric surgical ward based on the perspective and expectation of the parents.
 Methods: The study used a mixed method, with the strategy of sequential explanatory. The quantitative study involved 101 respondents. The implementation of therapeutic communication is measured by using the questionnaire of therapeutic communication implementation. The qualitative study was conducted to six participants as samples, with analysis interactive model technique.
 Results: The result of quantitative study found that 53.5% identified poor therapeutic communication being implemented by nurses to the parents of the patients. The result of the qualitative study foundthat parents expect comprehensive therapeutic communication from nurses, both in terms of language or behavior in any delivery of information or actions to be performed.
 Conclusion: The result of this study is expected to be an input for the health care institutions, especially to make it as a reference for consideration in making the standard operating procedures on the implementation of therapeutic communication to improve the nurses’ quality of care.

Kepemimpinan Efektif dan Motivasi Kerja dalam Penerapan Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat

Introduction: The objective of this study was to identify effective leadership and the work motivation with the implementation of therapeutic communication,Methods: Design used in this study was descriptive design of the correlation with the approach cross sectional study. The population of this study was all of the practising nurse in the in-patient (hospitalized) ward at the Dr. Iskak Tulungagung hospital. All datas were taken by using the method of total population of the 98 practising nurses.Results: The result of this study showed that the big proportion of the practising nurses whose ages are less than 30 years old, graduated from Diploma, status are single (unmarried), duration of work was less or same as 6 years, generally never followed a training of communication, whereas effective leadership was in the good category and the category of work motivation wasn’t better. Analysis using chi-square with alpha 0,05 showed that there was relations between the age, old the work, effective leadership and the work motivation and the implementation of therapeutic communication. The marital status and training had not relationship with the implementation of therapeutic communication.Conclusion: It is suggested that hospital should encoverage nurse manager to promote therapeutic communication among nurses.

TITLEThe association of knowledge and dental nurse attitudes with therapeutic-communication application in dental clinic of Puskesmas Kapubaten AgamABSTRACTOne of the competence standards of dental nurses is able to conduct a therapeutic communication at the dental health service with their clients; among the communicated matters are describing the activities that will be conducted, giving the clients the chances to ask, planning the follow-ups, and conducting contracts of the next dental care. This research has the objective of analyzing the factors influencing dental nurses in implementing the therapeutic communication at the Dental Service Division of the Public Health Center of Agam Regency.This research was an explanatory research, with survey as the research method, using the cross-sectional approach. The research samples were all dental nurses working at the Public Health Center of Agam Regency, as many as 41 people. Data were collected by direct interviews using a structured questionnaire.The research results showed that the implementation of therapeutic communication at the Dental Service Division of the Public Health Center of Agam Regency was still inadequate (63.4%). Variables that were significantly related to the dependent variable is the attitude variables (p. Value 0.008), whereas knowledge of dental nurses did not reveal any significant association with the application of therapeutic communication (p. Value 0.743). RELATIONSHIP CHARACTERISTICS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF COMMUNICATION WITH NURSES IN THE THERAPEUTIC INPATIENT

<p>Therapeutic communication is a communication that aims to therapy in order to accelerate the healing process of patients, as for the purpose of this research is to get an overview and the relationship between the characteristics, knowledge, attitude communicates with the implementation of therapeutic nurse. This study used cross sectional design. with a sample size of 50 nurses conduct. The technique of taking sampil simple random sampling. Instrument used questionnaires and observation sheets with Spearman Correlation test.<br /> The results of the univariate analysis found 42 (84%) of nurses aged 25-35 years (young adult), 30 (60%) of nurses who work ≥ 5 years. 27 (54%) of nurses had good knowledge, 33 (66%) positive attitude of nurses and 30 (60%) of nurses carry out therapeutic communication well. Spearman correlation test results stating there is no correlation between age and the p-value 0.221 (> 0.50), there is a weak correlation between long relationship working with a p-value of 0.040 (<0.50), there is a correlation between knowledge with p Value-0.45 (<0.50), and there is a very strong correlation between attitude to the implementation of therapeutic communication with a p-value of 0.00 (<0.50).</p>
