Improving Performance through TQM and SCM with Human Resources Competence as mediation variable on Banana’s Plantation Company

Many research results and theories say that Total Quality Management (TQM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) are the main strategies for all small, medium and large businesses. The fresh fruit business prioritizes fruit quality to get customer satisfaction. Besides the fruits’ freshness, for the sale of Cavendish bananas, it requires a smooth appearance of the fruit to attract the attention of consumers. The purpose of this study was to see the impact of the implementation of TQM and SCM and whether the impact was also influenced by HR competencies. This research was conducted at one of the banana plantation companies in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative with PLS as a statistical tool. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between TQM on company performance, SCM on company performance. In addition, it is also proven that HR competencies affect the success of TQM and SCM implementation. TQM in the banana plantation industry focuses on increasing the company's competitiveness by involving all employees' efforts to increase competence in all fields. A well-managed supply chain can produce cheap, quality, and timely products so that the target market can be met and generate profits for the company.

УПРАВЛІННЯ ЦИФРОВОЮ ТРАНСФОРМАЦІЄЮ МЕНЕДЖМЕНТУ ПЕРСОНАЛУ ЧЕРЕЗ ЦИФРОВУ HR СТРАТЕГІЮ

The world around us is changing. The workforce is changing rapidly. The pandemic and the war have drastically shortened the business path to remote and hybrid work models. The advent of technology and data makes personnel management easy and more complex at one time. Business processes of personnel management are undergoing significant changes under the influence of digitalization. For this transformation to be manageable and meet organizational needs, digital HR strategy formation is necessary. Theoretical understanding and modernization of context defining the new challenges of the digital HR transformation, its stages, components and elements, and the development of a digital HR strategy for the transformation of personnel management are necessary. The article is devoted to the study of the paradigm of digital HR strategy forming, namely: concepts, components, principles, and stages of its forming in organizations. The relationship between the concepts of digital HR transformation and digital HR strategy is substantiated. Vectors and stages of digital HR transformation are highlighted. The components of the digital HR transformation are summarized and characterized, and the components of the digital HR strategy are selected based on them. The introduction of new HR technologies must be supported by a digital HR strategy, which is a detailed plan for the digital transformation of personnel management. To sustain the digital transformation of HR management, companies need a clear digital HR strategy that will involve a strategic rethinking of the use of digital HR technologies to increase business value; rules for forming and implementing a digital HR strategy. The software has enormous potential, but it is important to approach the choice strategically. Any investment in new technology should be tied to specific company goals and have a detailed deployment plan. Modern business tasks cannot be solved using outdated solutions, so traditional sets of HR competencies will not be sufficient; they need to be updated to include new means of communication and critical analysis. In addition, HR teams cannot and should not allow others to make important technological decisions for them, impose on them solutions that are not designed specifically to solve the problems of personnel management of a specific business environment; and, instead, take the initiative to develop and implement a digital HR strategy.

The Influence of Human Resources Competence, Emotional Intelligence and Work Ethic on Work Productivity with Work Motivation as an Intervening Variable for Employees

This study aims to determine the effect of HR competence, emotional intelligence, and work ethic on work productivity with work motivation as an intervening variable on employees of CV Mitra Dunia Palettindo in Beji-Pasuruan. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at CV. Pallettindo World Partners. The population taken in this study were all employees in the production division, totaling 60 employees. The sampling technique used by the researcher is non-probability sampling with sampling using a saturated sampling technique, with a sample of 60 employees. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and questionnaires. The data of this study were analyzed using SEM PLS. The results of the study prove that HR competence, emotional intelligence, and work ethic have a significant positive effect on productivity and motivation, motivation has a significant positive effect on productivity, emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on productivity with motivation as an intervening variable, while competence and work ethic have no significant effect on productivity. with motivation as an intervening variable.

Investing in Human Capital Management for Firm Performance: Liability or Strategic Alignment?

A firm’s sustainable performance is a burgeoning issue globally. It is the strategic choice of the firm whether it should invest in its human resources. This study examines the role of human capital management in determining firm performance. HR competencies, HR practices, HR systems, and HR deliverables were selected as the dimensions of human capital management. Employee satisfaction was the mediating variable. Data were collected from a survey of conveniently selected 305 employees of purposively selected life insurance companies in Nepal. The results of the study revealed a positive significant impact of each component of human capital management and overall human capital management on firm performance, concluding that investment in human capital management is the strategic alignment rather than the liability. Firms investing more in human capital enhance their financial performance for sustainable growth. This study contributes to elaborating the resource-based view for creating dynamic capability of resources from effective development and mobilization of human resources.

THE EFFECT OF HUMAN RESOURCES COMPETENCE, GOAL ORIENTATION, BUDGET USE, AND MONITORING AND EVALUATION ON PERFORMANCE-BASED BUDGET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IN MANAGEMENT AGENCY REGIONAL FINANCE OF EAST LUWU REGENCY

This study aims to examine the effect of HR competence, goal orientation, budget use, as well as monitoring and evaluation of the performance-based budget management system at the Regional Financial Management Agency of East Luwu Regency. To achieve this goal, data collection techniques were used through questionnaires, with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the research conducted found that HR competence had an effect on the performance-based budget management system. Goal orientation affects the performance-based budget management system. The use of the budget affects the performance-based budget management system, and monitoring and evaluation has a positive and significant effect on the performance-based budget management system at the Regional Financial Management Agency in East Luwu Regency, while the results of regression testing show that the dominant variable affects the performance-based budget management system. on the Regional Financial Management Agency in East Luwu Regency is the use of the budget.

Human Resource Management Practices among Private Schools in Cebu City

This study evaluates the Human Resources Management Practices in selected private schools in Cebu City. Findings serve as basis for a proposed improvement program. This study employs a descriptive survey design to determine the perceptions of employees on the human resource development program among private schools. The profile of the respondents will be tested for relationship with the level of effectiveness of the human resources management practices. The perceptions of the respondents will be tested for differences. Effectiveness of Achieving Goal gained the highest level of effectiveness while HR Competencies lowest level of effectiveness among the 3 dimensions. This would mean that the respondents that came from the different schools made a high level of perceptions on the effectiveness on achieving goal. There is a significant degree of variance on the analysis of variance on the perceptions of the employees on the evaluation of the human resource development program of the school in terms of championing employees. A closer view revealed that Effectiveness of Achieving Goal gained the highest level of effectiveness while HR Competencies lowest level of effectiveness among the 3 dimensions. This would mean that the respondents that came from the different schools made a high level of perceptions on the effectiveness on achieving goal. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that a Human Resource Development Program will be implemented in order to increase the level of effectiveness of private schools in achieving its goals and the process of delivery of products and services as these will serve as benchmarks for improvement of administrative expertise, nurture and develop employees to its full potential for them to become passionate, effective and innovative non-teaching staff.

B2B Strategy Model in Increasing Consumer Loyalty in Indonesia

The aim of the research is to determine whether consumer loyalty is directly affected by the variables of HR competence, product innovation, and service quality and also to determine the paradigm or model of consumer loyalty to the variables of HR competence, product innovation, and service quality, including the most dominant indicator for each variable. This study was conducted qualitatively, whereas the approach was phenomenological, in which phenomenological studies described people's wisdom in their life experiences. Phenomenologists must pay attention to the existing picture that is owned by all participants when they observe a phenomenon. The sample was taken from five informants who had extensive experience and were currently in the highest positions in a company. The procedure or method used in data processing, assisted by Nvivo12 tools, a special analytical tool in qualitative research that has been recognized worldwide, includes conducting data validation, collecting descriptive data, and forming paradigms. To help answer B2B problems, research instruments draw on previous research and theoretical studies. The results stated that the cluster analysis revealed a strong relationship between statements of opinion from informants regarding B2B policies and consumer loyalty. For map analysis, it was found that all variables affect consumer loyalty and have different indicators, the most dominant of which have a range of 1 to 3 indicators. while simultaneously giving rise to a new variable, namely, a corporate image that supports consumer responsibility. Finally, the B2B model for increasing customer loyalty or consumer loyalty is more prone to service quality and customer loyalty variables.

PEMBUATAN OTAK – OTAK BANDENG DI DESA LOMULI KABUPATEN POHUWATO

Milkfish is a herbivore fish, cultivated and often traded in the community. For some people, there are people who don't like milkfish because it has too many spines, even though the nutritional value of milkfish is higher than chicken. To overcome this problem, the development of processing milkfish into milkfish brains was carried out. The people of Pohuwato, especially the Sinar Lomuli IKM group in Lomuli Village, consume milkfish only as a side dish to accompany rice, usually cooked or grilled. The purpose of this activity is to improve HR skills and competencies, wider marketing and longer shelf life and better management. Based on observations and interviews conducted by the PKM Team with partners, there are several problems faced by Partners, namely: 1) No have the skills to process milkfish into processed products 2) Products do not yet have a market. The solutions offered by the PKM Team to the Partners are as follows: 1) The IKM groups who participated in the training gained new skills in processing milkfish. 2) Sinar Lomuli IKM can promote and sell their products offline and online.

Peranan Kompetensi SDM Terhadap Peningkatan Kinerja Karyawan

This study describes the role of human resource competence in improving employee performance. The human resources needed by companies today are HR competencies that have the skills to adapt to new environments such as the adoption of new technologies. The role of HR competencies today requires task skills and skill transfer skills as basic characteristics (underlying characteristics) that are deep and inherent in a person that can be used to predict various specific work situations, such as technological advances in today's digital era. This study uses a qualitative research method which is carried out on the process of understanding based on facts in a social phenomenon and human problem, and presented in an analytical and descriptive manner and collected systematically. This research uses a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that preparing human resource competencies today is an easy thing. There are challenges that hinder the success or failure of the efforts undertaken. There are several challenges that must be resolved, such as the education level of employees is still low, employees who do not have the competence to develop themselves, there are still some employees who do not understand the application of technology in the work environment, and the lack of consistency in training and development that PT Mpingchips does for each of its employees. Employee education and training contribute to increasing productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. Education and training for employees at PT Mpingchips must be provided regularly so that each employee's competence is maintained to improve organizational performance

Determinan Penyerapan Anggaran Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah

This study aims to examine the components that influence the level of budget absorption in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Palembang City. The research population is employees who play a role in the process of preparing and implementing the budget at BPKAD Palembang City using a saturated sample consisting of PPK, PPTK, Treasurer, Secretariat Section, Budget Section, Asset Section and Accounting Section with a total of 51 people. Data analysis used multiple linear regression techniques with SPSS software. The research findings show that planning, HR competencies and external pressures have an effect on budget absorption while procurement documents have no effect. Simultaneously these four components affect budget absorption by 38%. The implications of this research can be considered in managerial decision making when planning, managing and implementing budgets.

Pengaruh Kompetensi Sumberdaya Manusia terhadap Kualitas Laporan Keuangan Daerah Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi melalui Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi sebagai Variabel Intervening

This study aimed to determine the effect of human resource competence on the quality of regional financial reports at the Jambi Provincial Government through the utilization of information technology. The populations in this study were officials at the Regional Apparatus Organization within the Jambi Provincial Government which functions as accounting entities involved in regional financial management and reporting. The sample in this study was selected by using the judgment sampling method, namely officials authorized in the management and reporting of regional finances from 19 OPD in the Jambi Provincial Government. Data analysis in this study used the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach with the help of Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicated that HR competencies had a direct influence on the utilization of information technology and the quality of regional financial reports. The results of this study also indicated that the competence of human resources had an indirect influence on the quality of regional financial reports at the Regional Government Organization of Jambi Province through the utilization of information technology.

The Influence of Human Resource Competence on the Performance of Micro Enterprises in Alewadeng Village

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of HR competence on the performance of micro-enterprises in Alewadeng Village. The source of data in this study is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The population is 49 micro business actors in Alewadeng Village which is also a sample (saturated sampling). The analytical method used is simple regression analysis with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) tools. The results of the study indicate that the competence of human resources has a positive and significant effect on the performance of micro-enterprises, which means that the better the competence of human resources, the better the business performance.

The Effect of Human Resources Competence, Incentives and Leadership on the Performance of Administrative Staff

The echelon officials who served in the hospital of Dr. H. Kumpulan Pane Tebing Tinggi City is the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), as well as most of its administrative staffs. Echelon officials and administrative staffs often come from agencies outside the hospital. They have a lot to experience about hospital management which is much different from management in other agencies. This affects the performance of employees in the organization of the hospital. Therefore, the empowerment of administrative employees needs to be optimized. Thus, the current study seeks to examine the dominant factors influencing the performance of administrative staffs in UPTD RSUD Dr. H. Kumpulan Pane Tebing Tinggi City, namely HR competencies, incentives, and leadership. A total of 77 respondents have participated in this study through survey questionnaire and collected by using census method. This study uses three independent variables, namely HR competence, Incentives and Leadership and staff performance. The results showed that the HR competency, incentive and leadership partially influence on the performance of administrative staffs. HR competency, incentives and leadership simultaneously influence the performance of administrative staffs.

Kompetensi SDM Sebagai Mediasi Dalam Good Governance Dan Anggaran Berbasis Kinerja Pada Pengelolaan Dana BOS

The phenomenon that often occurs in the management of BOS funds is the problem of fraud and ineffectiveness, from 2016 to 2021 there are 240 corruption cases and of these cases the most corruption is related to the use of BOS funds, which is 52 cases. This study aims to examine the effect of Good Governance and Performance-Based Budgeting on BOS Fund Management with HR Competence as an Intervening variable. The sampling method used the census method with the number of respondents 66 people. Questionnaires were distributed to private schools under the Ministry of Religion in Luwuk Regency, Central Sulawesi Province and processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0. This study uses HR competence which is assessed as one of the factors that can have an indirect influence on the management of BOS funds, and the results of the study show that Good Governance either directly or through HR Competencies has a positive and significant effect on BOS Fund Management, Performance-Based Budgeting has an effect on negative on BOS Fund Management, and Performance-Based Budgeting has no effect on BOS Fund Management through HR Competence.

Determinants of Fraud Prevention in Village Fund Management with Organizational Justice as Moderator

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of fraud prevention factors on village fund management. It also examines the role of organizational justice as a moderating variable through an associative study method. The population used consists of 120 respondents from the Village Government Apparatus in Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. Furthermore, the data were collected using the SPSS version 22 application program to analyze the effect of the internal control system, organizational commitment, leadership style, and HR competence on fraud prevention. The results showed that the Internal Control System, organizational commitment, leadership style, and HR competence significantly affect fraud prevention in village fund management. Meanwhile, organizational justice strengthens the positive effect of commitment on fraud prevention but not on the Internal Control System, leadership style, and HR competence.

The Effect of Human Resource Competence, Utilization of Information Technology, Internal Control Systems, and Application of Government Accounting Standards on The Quality of Financial Reporting (Study on South Aceh Government SKPK)

This study aims to examine the effect of human resource competence, the use of information technology, internal control systems and the application of government accounting standards on the quality of financial reporting in the South Aceh Government SKPK. The population in this study were 55 SKPK in South Aceh Regency. The entire population is the sample in this study and is called the census sample. Primary data sources are obtained from questionnaires distributed to 110 respondents. Respondents in this study were the Expenditure Treasurer and Financial Administration Officer at SKPK. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of human resources, utilization of information technology, internal control, and SAP implementation together affect the quality of financial reporting. Furthermore, the results of the partial study show that HR competence affects the quality of financial reporting, the use of information technology affects the quality of financial reporting, internal control affects the quality of financial reporting, and the application of SAP affects the quality of financial reporting in the South Aceh Government SKPK.

Management Of Character Education Of Islamic Boarding Schools in Improving the Independence Of Students (Qualitative Descriptive Study at Miftahul Muta'alimin Islamic Boarding School and Tahsinul Akhlaq Islamic Boarding School in Cirebon Regency)

The low independence of Islamic boarding school graduates in the field of skills is still visible today, because the planning, implementation and supervision of Islamic boarding school character education has not been maximized in increasing the independence of students. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of planning, implementation, monitoring, inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome obstacles. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that: : 1) Planning has been carried out according to the theory through curriculum and programs according to the pesantren model, but has not been supported by policies on developing skills programs and infrastructure resources. 2) The implementation has been carried out according to the theory through socialization, coordination and motivation, but it has not been maximal in shaping the character of the independence of students because of the lack of support for HR competencies. 3) Supervision has been carried out according to the theory through direct observation and assessment, but has not been maximized because it is still focused on the core program. 4) Inhibiting factors include the lack of core program learning facilities and skilled professionals. 5) Efforts to overcome obstacles through approaches, sanctions, expand alumni collaboration, and fundraising. Management of character education in increasing the independence of students in Islamic boarding schools in Cirebon Regency has been carried out according to management theory through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising according to the curriculum and programs developed, but has not been maximized in forming students' independence due to policy and resource constraints

Grafika Mengabdi dan Menginspirasi: Pelatihan Kalkulasi Biaya Produksi Cetak di SMKN 7 Jakarta

One of the essential resources in management is human resources. The importance of human resources needs to be realized by all levels of management. Schools as a unified education system are expected to provide learning experiences for all students to master competencies by the level of education and the unique mission it carries. However, the lack of human resources allows this service movement to fill the existing problems. The training carried out is the calculation of print production costs. In implementing this community service activity, several methods are used, including observation, interviews, discussions, questionnaires, theory, and practice calculating the cost of print production and ending with an evaluation. There was an increase in students' knowledge from 10% to 83.33% after the training. Suppose the school has difficulty finding teachers/HR according to their competence in teaching print cost calculation subjects. In that case, the school should often provide training from higher education institutions and industry to reduce HR competencies gaps.

The Role of Village Apparatus in Managing Village Assets Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 1 of 2016

Village officials play an important role in managing village assets because they are assets owned by the village, although in managing village assets still have certain limitations, especially in the organization of government. This paper provides an understanding of how village asset management is based on Permendagri Number 1 of 2016 and how the role of langonsari village apparatus, Pameungpeuk District, Bandung Regency in managing village assets. This research is a qualitative research. The data collection technique was carried out by means of field research, using observation methods, and interviews with the Village Head, Village Secretary and several representatives of village officials in Langonsari Village, Pameungpeuk District, Bandung Regency, totaling 5 informants. The results showed that the role of village officials in managing village assets has not gone well, so that the results are not optimal in managing the village's assets. In addition, there are also obstacles such as lack of HR competence and village officials who do not know the specifics of village asset management which greatly affects the implementation in the utilization or management process. Which causes the implementation of village asset management in Langonsari Village has not been in accordance with the regulation of permendagri Number 1 of 2016 concerning Village Asset Management.

Pengaruh Ketaatan Aturan Akuntansi, Kompetensi SDM, Efektivitas Pengendalian Internal dan Good Corporate Governance Terhadap Kecenderungan Kecurangan Akuntansi (Fraud) Pada LPD Se-Kecamatan Kediri, Tabanan

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of compliance with accounting rules, human resources competence, effectiveness of internal control, and good corporate governance against the tendency of accounting fraud (fraud) in LPD Se-Subdistrict KediriTabanan. This research was conducted in all LPD Se-Subdistrict of Tabanan Regency which is still active with a population of 21 LPD with the number of LPD employees 159 people. The research sample is determined by the purposive sampling method, which is a certain criterion, then the number of samples becomes 63 respondents. The data collection technique using questionnaires was then performed multiple liner regression analysis. The results of this study found that the Observance of Accounting Rules affects the tendency of Accounting fraud (fraud). HR competence has no effect on the tendency of Accounting fraud (fraud). The effectiveness of Internal Control affects the tendency of Accounting fraud (fraud). Good Corporate Governance affects the tendency of Accounting fraud (fraud). The advice given is expected to help the Village Credit Institute (LPD) in Kediri sub-district, Tabanan in reducing the tendency of Accounting fraud (fraud) especially in LPD employees.
