Panapophenanthrin, a Rare Oligocyclic Diterpene from Panus strigellus.

During the course of our search for biologically active secondary metabolites from fungal cultures, a new oligocyclic diterpenoidal derivative, panapophenanthrin (1), was isolated from Panus strigellus. In addition, two known metabolites, panepophenanthrin (2) and dihydrohypnophilin (3), were also obtained. The chemical structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated based on extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectral analyses together with high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS). The absolute configuration was determined through TDDFT-ECD calculations. All of the compounds were assessed for their antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities. Compounds 1 and 3 showed moderate to weak activities in the performed antimicrobial assays, while compound 1 exhibited potent cytotoxic activity against the mammalian cell lines mouse fibroblast (L929) and human endocervical adenocarcinoma (KB3.1).

Two Decarestrictine Analogs from the Soil-Derived Fungus Penicillium sp. YUD18003 Associated with Gastrodia elata.

Two new decarestrictine analogs decarestrictine P and penicitone, together with eight known homologous compounds were isolated from the soil fungus from the rhizosphere of Penicillium sp. YUD18003 related to Gastrodia elata. Their different structures include a decanolides decartestridine P and a long-chain polyhydroxyketone penicitone. The structures of new compounds were determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopic analysis and high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS), while their absolute configurations were determined by spectroscopic methods, DP4+ probability analysis, modified Snatzke's method and electron circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. All compounds were evaluated for antimicrobial activities.

Asperphenalenones Isolated from the Biocontrol Agent Clonostachys rosea and Their Antimicrobial Activities.

Clonostachys rosea is a fungus widely distributed on Earth and has a high capacity to adapt to complex environments in soil, plants, or sea. It is an endophyte that can be used as a potential biocontrol agent to protect plants from pathogenic fungi, nematodes, and insects. However, the spectrum of secondary metabolites produced by C. rosea has only scarcely been studied. In the present study, eight new phenalenones, asperphenalenones F-M (1-8), together with two known derivatives, asperphenalenones E and B (9 and 10), were isolated from the axenic rice culture of this fungus. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by nuclear magnetic resonance, high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, electronic circular dichroism, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analyses. Asperphenalenones J-M (5-8) are unusual phenalenone adducts that are conjugated to diterpenoid glycosides. Asperphenalenones F and H showed moderate antibacterial activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, with minimal inhibitory concentrations of 12.5 and 25 μM, respectively. Asperphenalenone B exhibited low antiviral activity against the human immunodeficiency virus replication. Furthermore, asperphenalenones F and H exhibited low cytotoxicity against Jurkat cells, while all other compounds were devoid of cytotoxicity.

1H NMR-guided isolation of hasubanan alkaloids from the alkaloidal extract of Stephania longa

1H NMR-guided fractionation led to the isolation of 16 alkaloids from the alkaloidal extract of Stephania longa, including 11 new hasubanan alkaloids (1–11) and five known alkaloids (12–16). Interestingly, compounds 2 and 11 are typically considered protonated tertiary amine compounds, whereas compounds 1 and 10 are regarded as oxidized versions of the corresponding compounds. Their gross structures were determined through an extensive analysis of spectroscopic data (NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) and HRESIMS (high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy)), and their absolute configurations were established by comparing their experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra. The new (3) and a known (12) compounds in all isolates displayed stronger antineuroinflammatory effects (IC50 values of 1.8 and 11.1 μM, respectively) than minocycline (IC50 value of 15.5 μM) against NO production on LPS-activated BV2 cells.

Constituents of the fruits of Rubus chingii Hu and their neuroprotective effects on human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells

Rubi fructus (Rubus chingii Hu) is a fruit of Rubus genus and is used in medicine and food applications. In this study, eight new phenylpropanoids (1–8) and seven known compounds (9–15) were isolated from the dried fruits of Rubus chingii Hu, and their structures were characterized through high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Electronic circular dichroism (ECD) experiments were performed, and the results were compared with ECD spectra. Compound 3 was characterized through extensive single crystal X-ray diffraction. Evaluation of the neuroprotective pharmacological activities revealed that compounds 6, 7, 9, and 14 exerted protective effects against H2O2-induced neurotoxicity by reducing the reactive oxygen species levels at concentrations of 50 and 100 μM. Moreover, the three compounds 6, 9, and 14 significantly inhibited the expression of the Casp3 gene at a concentration of 50 μM. Compounds 7 and 9 effectively repressed the expression of the MYC gene. Compounds 6 and 9 obviously upregulated the ratio of Bcl2/Bax in SH-SY5Y cells and inhibited cell apoptosis. The study results can be used as a reference for the development of R. chingii products to realize their neuroprotective functions in the future.

Meldrum-Based-1H-1,2,3-Triazoles as Antidiabetic Agents: Synthesis, In Vitro α-Glucosidase Inhibition Activity, Molecular Docking Studies, and In Silico Approach.

A series of novel alkyl derivatives (2-5a,b) and 1H-1,2,3-triazole analogues (7a-k) of Meldrum's acid were synthesized in a highly effective way by using "click" chemistry and screened for in vitro α-glucosidase inhibitory activity to examine their antidiabetic potential. 1H NMR, 13C-NMR, and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectra (HR-ESI-MS) were used to analyze each of the newly synthesized compounds. Interestingly, these compounds demonstrated high to moderate α-glucosidase inhibitory potency having an IC50 range of 4.63-80.21 μM. Among these derivatives, compound 7i showed extraordinary inhibitory activity and was discovered to be several times more potent than the parent compound Meldrum (1) and the standard drug acarbose. Later, molecular docking was performed to understand the binding mode and the binding strength of all the compounds with the target enzyme, which revealed that all compounds are well fitted in the active site of α-glucosidase. To further ascertain the structure of compounds, suitable X-ray single crystals of compounds 5a, 7a, and 7h were developed and studied. The current investigation has shown that combining 1H-1,2,3-triazole with the Meldrum moiety is beneficial. Furthermore, this is the first time that the aforementioned activity of these compounds has been reported.

Datura stramonium Flowers as a Potential Natural Resource of Bioactive Molecules: Identification of Anti-Inflammatory Agents and Molecular Docking Analysis.

The present study investigated the antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory activities of different aerial parts (flowers, leaves and seeds) of Datura stramonium. The plant material was extracted with 80% methanol for about 24 h. The sensitivity to microorganisms analysis was performed by the microdilution technique. Antioxidant tests were performed by scavenging the DPPH and ABTS radicals, and by FRAP assay. Anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated through the inhibition of nitric oxide production in activated macrophage RAW 264.7 cells. Cell viability was assessed with an MTT assay. Results show that the flower extract revealed a powerful antimicrobial capacity against Gram-positive bacteria and strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. No significant cytotoxicity to activated macrophages was recorded. High resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance analysis identified two molecules with important anti-inflammatory effects: 12α-hydroxydaturametelin B and daturametelin B. Molecular docking analysis with both pro-inflammatory agents tumor necrosis factor alpha and interleukin-6 revealed that both compounds showed good binding features with the selected target proteins. Our results suggest that D. stramonium flower is a promising source of compounds with potential antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory activities. Isolated withanolide steroidal lactones from D. stramonium flower extract with promising anti-inflammatory activity have therapeutic potential against inflammatory disorders.

Germacrane-type sesquiterpenoids from the flowers of Chrysanthemum indicum with hepatoprotective activity.

Two new germacrane-type sesquiterpenoids, chrysanthemolides A (1) and B (2), and four known germacrane-type sesquiterpenoids, hanphyllin (3), 3β-hydroxy-11α,13-dihydro-costunolide (4), costunolide (5), and 6,7-dimethylmethylene-4-aldehyde-1β-hydroxy-10(15)-ene-(4Z)-dicyclodecylene (6), were isolated and identified from the flowers of Chrysanthemum indicum. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated via high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS), 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra and electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Meanwhile, all the isolates were tested for their hepatoprotective activity in tert-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP) injured AML12cells. Compounds 1, 2, and 4 showed significant protective effects at 40μM, comparable with the positive control resveratrol at 10μM. As the most potent one, compound 1 was chosen for further studies. Compound 1 dose-dependently increased the viability of t-BHP-injured AML12cells. Furthermore, compound 1 decreased reactive oxygen species accumulation, while increased glutathione level, heme oxygenase-1 level and superoxide dismutase activity, through anchoring in the binding site of Kelch domain of the Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1) to promote the dissociation of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 from Keap1 and translocation to nuclei. In summary, germacrane-type sesquiterpenoids from C. indicum might be further developed to protect liver against oxidative damage.

Design and synthesis of oxazepine derivatives from sulfonamide Schiff bases as antimicrobial and antioxidant agents with low cytotoxicity and hemolytic prospective

The eco-friendly sonication and microwave irradiation techniques were used for the straight forward synthesis of the Schiff base platform from sulfathiazole. Herein, Schiff bases were developed and converted to oxazepane derivatives. Compounds were tested for their antimicrobial, antioxidant, in vivo cytotoxicity activity. Moreover, density functional theory (DFT) and molecular docking studies were also carried out to explore the structural prpoperties and interaction of compounds with the receptor molecules. In vitro antimicrobial activity was determined against Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains via microdilution technique, which showed that the synthesized derivatives exhibit significant antimicrobial activity. Furthermore, in vivo cytotoxicity activity of the compounds were carried out via intravenous injection in rats. The results were compared with negative controls and it was observed that most of the synthesized compounds displayed excellent antimicrobial activity and low toxicity in comparison to references and negative controls, respectively. Hemolysis test was carried out for bioactive compounds, and results showed higher hemolysis values of the Schiff bases than the correponding oxazepines and lower hemolytic effects. The free radical inhibittion and antioxidant activity was carried out by using 2,2′-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH) and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) methods which suggested that the free radical scavenging activity increases with the presence of hydroxyl group. The Spectral measurements fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and high resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS) confirmed the structure of the compounds.

Isolation and Quantification of 2-O-Caffeoyl-hydroxycitric Acid, an Active Component in Hot Water Extracts of Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.), Which Inhibits Degranulation of RBL-2H3 Cells

Objectives: Natural compounds that can effectively prevent and alleviate allergic symptoms, such as hay fever, are widely sought after from sources such as natural ingredients that can be ingested daily. Coriander extracts have been reported to show anti-allergic activity; however, hot water extracts have not been tested previously. Here, we found that a hot water extract of the aerial parts of coriander inhibited the degranulation of rat basophilic leukemia cell line RBL-2H3 cells and identified the active compounds. Methods: Chromatographic methods were used to isolate compounds from the hot water extract of coriander. The chemical structures were elucidated by analyses of high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrum and nuclear magnetic resonance spectral data. The degranulation activity of compounds was evaluated using the β-hexosaminidase release assay. Results: We analyzed the components to identify active compounds. 2 S,3 S-2- O-caffeoyl-hydroxycitric acid (1), and 2- O-caffeoyl-hydroxycitric acid 6′- O-methyl ester (2) were isolated from the hot water extract of coriander, and both compounds showed degranulation inhibitory activity in RBL-2H3 cells at a concentration below 2.5 mM. The content of compound 1 in the freeze-dried coriander powder was calculated to be 2.0% via HPLC quantification. Conclusions: Compound 1 was considered to be the primary active contributor in the hot water extract of coriander.

Alternative Identification of Glycosides Using MS/MS Matching with an In Silico-Modified Aglycone Mass Spectra Library.

Glycosylation of metabolites serves multiple purposes. Adding sugars makes metabolites more water soluble and improves their biodistribution, stability, and detoxification. In plants, the increase in melting points enables storing otherwise volatile compounds that are released by hydrolysis when needed. Classically, glycosylated metabolites were identified by mass spectrometry (MS/MS) using [M-sugar] neutral losses. Herein, we studied 71 pairs of glycosides with their respective aglycones, including hexose, pentose, and glucuronide moieties. Using liquid chromatography (LC) coupled to electrospray ionization high-resolution mass spectrometry, we detected the classic [M-sugar] product ions for only 68% of glycosides. Instead, we found that most aglycone MS/MS product ions were conserved in the MS/MS spectra of their corresponding glycosides, even when no [M-sugar] neutral losses were observed. We added pentose and hexose units to the precursor masses of an MS/MS library of 3057 aglycones to enable rapid identification of glycosylated natural products with standard MS/MS search algorithms. When searching unknown compounds in untargeted LC-MS/MS metabolomics data of chocolate and tea, we structurally annotated 108 novel glycosides in standard MS-DIAL data processing. We uploaded this new in silico-glycosylated product MS/MS library to GitHub to enable users to detect natural product glycosides without authentic chemical standards.

Isolation and identification of 3,4-seco-labdane diterpenoids from Callicarpa nudiflora and investigation of their cytotoxicity against HepG2 cells

Twenty-one previously undescribed compounds, including nineteen 3,4-seco-labdanes (nudiflopenes P–W, Y, AI–JI), one 3,4-seco-pimarane (nudiflopene X), and one labdane (nudiflopene Z), along with nine known compounds (one 3,4-seco-pimarane and eight 3,4-seco-labdanes) were isolated from the leaves of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook. Et Arn. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and one- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. In addition, configurations of the isolated compounds were determined by electronic circular dichroism, DP4+ probability analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiments. All undescribed compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against HepG2 cells in vitro, among which compound 12 exhibited a moderate activity with an IC50 value of 27.8 μM.

Mobile phase and column chemistry selection for high sensitivity non-targeted LC/ESI/HRMS screening of water

Systematic selection of mobile phase and column chemistry type can be critical for achieving optimal chromatographic separation, high sensitivity, and low detection limits in liquid chromatography electrospray high resolution mass spectrometry (LC/MS). However, the selection process is challenging for non-targeted screening where the compounds of interest are not preselected nor available for method optimization. To provide general guidance, twenty different mobile phase compositions and four columns were compared for the analysis of 78 compounds with a wide range of physicochemical properties (logP range from −1.46 to 5.48), and analyte sensitivity was compared between methods. The pH, additive type, column, and organic modifier had significant effects on the analyte response factors, and acidic mobile phases (e.g. 0.1% formic acid) yielded highest sensitivity. In some cases, the effect was attributable to the difference in organic modifier content at the time of elution, depending on the mobile phase and column chemistry. Based on these findings, 0.1% formic acid, 0.1% ammonia and 5.0 mM ammonium fluoride were further evaluated for their performance in non-targeted LC/ESI/HRMS analysis of wastewater treatment plan influent and effluent, using a data dependent MS2 acquisition and two different data processing workflows (MS-DIAL, patRoon 2.1) to compare number of detected features and sensitivity. Both data-processing workflows indicated that 0.1% formic acid yielded the highest number of features in full scan spectrum (MS1), as well as the highest number of features that triggered fragmentation spectra (MS2) when dynamic exclusion was used.

Cytotoxic effects of aporphine alkaloids from the stems and leaves of Stephania dielsiana Y.C.Wu

Phytochemical studies of the stems and leaves of Stephania dielsiana Y.C.Wu yielded two new aporphine alkaloids (1 and 5), along with six known alkaloids (2–4 and 6–8). Their structures were characterised based on analyses of spectroscopic data, including one- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and high-resolution electrospray ionisation mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS). The cytotoxic activities of the isolated compounds against a small panel of tumour cell lines were assessed by MTS assay. Interestingly, compound 2 exhibited particularly strong cytotoxic activities against HepG2, MCF7 and OVCAR8 cancer cell lines, with IC50 values of 3.20 ± 0.18, 3.10 ± 0.06 and 3.40 ± 0.007 µM, respectively. Furthermore, molecular docking simulations were carried out to explore the interactions and binding mechanisms of the most active compound (compound 2) with proteins. Our results contribute to understanding the secondary metabolites produced by S. dielsiana and provide a scientific rationale for further investigations of cytotoxicity of this valuable medicinal plant.

Chemical Constituents from the Fruits of Amomum kravanh and Their Role in Activating Alcohol Dehydrogenase.

Alcoholism is a worldwide health problem, and diseases caused by alcoholism are killing people every year. Amomum kravanh is a traditional Chinese medicine used to relieve hangovers. However, whether its bioactive components improve alcohol metabolism is not clear. In this study, ten new (amomumols A-J, 1-10) and thirty-five known (11-45) compounds were isolated from the fruits of Amomum kravanh by an activity-guided separation. Ten novel compounds were identified as four sesquiterpenoids (1-4), three monoterpene derivatives (5-7), two neolignans (8, 9), and a novel norsesquiterpenoid (10) with a new C14 nor-bisabolane skeleton. Their structures were determined by the comprehensive analysis of high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculation. The effects of all isolated compounds on the activity of alcohol dehydrogenase were evaluated in vitro, and it was found that eight compounds (11, 12, 15, 18, 26, and 36-38) exhibited significant activation effects on the alcohol dehydrogenase at 50 μM.

Identification and Isolation of α-Glucosidase Inhibitors from Siraitia grosvenorii Roots Using Bio-Affinity Ultrafiltration and Comprehensive Chromatography.

The discovery of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants has played a crucial role in drug discovery. In this study, a simple and efficient method utilizing affinity-based ultrafiltration (UF) coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed for the rapid screening and targeted separation of α-glucosidase inhibitors from Siraitia grosvenorii roots. First, an active fraction of S. grosvenorii roots (SGR2) was prepared, and 17 potential α-glucosidase inhibitors were identified based on UF-HPLC analysis. Second, guided by UF-HPLC, a combination of MCI gel CHP-20P column chromatography, high-speed counter-current countercurrent chromatography, and preparative HPLC were conducted to isolate the compounds producing active peaks. Sixteen compounds were successfully isolated from SGR2, including two lignans and fourteen cucurbitane-type triterpenoids. The structures of the novel compounds (4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11) were elucidated using spectroscopic methods, including one- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. Finally, the α-glucosidase inhibitory activities of the isolated compounds were verified via enzyme inhibition assays and molecular docking analysis, all of which were found to exhibit certain inhibitory activity. Compound 14 exhibited the strongest inhibitory activity, with an IC50 value of 430.13 ± 13.33 μM, which was superior to that of acarbose (1332.50 ± 58.53 μM). The relationships between the structures of the compounds and their inhibitory activities were also investigated. Molecular docking showed that the highly active inhibitors interacted with α-glucosidase through hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions. Our results demonstrate the beneficial effects of S. grosvenorii roots and their constituents on α-glucosidase inhibition.

Real-Time Volatile Metabolomics Analysis of Dendritic Cells.

Dendritic cells (DCs) actively sample and present antigen to cells of the adaptive immune system and are thus vital for successful immune control and memory formation. Immune cell metabolism and function are tightly interlinked, and a better understanding of this interaction offers potential to develop immunomodulatory strategies. However, current approaches for assessing the immune cell metabolome are often limited by end-point measurements, may involve laborious sample preparation, and may lack unbiased, temporal resolution of the metabolome. In this study, we present a novel setup coupled to a secondary electrospray ionization-high resolution mass spectrometric (SESI-HRMS) platform allowing headspace analysis of immature and activated DCs in real-time with minimal sample preparation and intervention, with high technical reproducibility and potential for automation. Distinct metabolic signatures of DCs treated with different supernatants (SNs) of bacterial cultures were detected during real-time analyses over 6 h compared to their respective controls (SN only). Furthermore, the technique allowed for the detection of 13C-incorporation into volatile metabolites, opening the possibility for real-time tracing of metabolic pathways in DCs. Moreover, differences in the metabolic profile of naı̈ve and activated DCs were discovered, and pathway-enrichment analysis revealed three significantly altered pathways, including the TCA cycle, α-linolenic acid metabolism, and valine, leucine, and isoleucine degradation.

Two New Cytotoxic Sesquiterpene-Amino Acid Conjugates and a Coumarin-Glucoside from Crossostephium chinense.

The Asteraceae family is a promising source of bioactive compounds, such as the famous Asteraceae plants Tanacetum cinerariifolium (pyrethrin) and Artemisia annua (artemisinin). As a result of our series of phytochemical studies of the subtropical plants, two novel sesquiterpenes, named crossoseamines A and B in this study (1 and 2, respectively), one undescribed coumarin-glucoside (3), and eighteen known compounds (4-21) were isolated from the aerial part of Crossostephium chinense (Asteraceae). The structures of isolated compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D NMR experiments (1H, 13C, DEPT, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY), IR spectrum, circular dichroism spectrum (CD), and high-resolution electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (HR-ESI-MS). All isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against Leishmania major, Plasmodium falciparum, Trypanosoma brucei (gambiense and rhodesiense), and human lung cancer cell line A549 because of the high demand for the discovery of new drug leads to overcome the present side effects and emerging drug-resistant strains. As a result, the new compounds (1 and 2) showed significant activities against A549 (IC50, 1: 3.3 ± 0.3; 2: 12.3 ± 1.0 μg/mL), L. major (IC50, 1: 6.9 ± 0.6; 2: 24.9 ± 2.2 μg/mL), and P. falciparum (IC50, 1: 12.1 ± 1.1; 2: 15.6 ± 1.2 μg/mL).

Quantitative Determination of Iron-Siderophore Complexes in Peat by Isotope-Exchange Size-Exclusion UPLC-Electrospray Ionization High-Resolution Accurate Mass (HRAM) Mass Spectrometry.

A method was developed for the quantification of iron-siderophore complexes by electrospray high-resolution accurate mass (HRAM) mass spectrometry (MS) without the need for authentic standards. The bulk of iron-siderophore complexes was purified by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and concentrated by evaporation. The individual complexes were identified by fast size-exclusion chromatography (FastSEC)-Orbitrap MSn on the basis of the exact molecular mass (±1 ppm) and MS2 or MS3 fragmentation. Their capability to readily exchange the natural 56Fe for the added 58Fe was demonstrated by SEC with ICP MS and ESI MS detection. The method was applied to the analysis of peat sampled in the eastern part of the French Pyrenean mountains. Nineteen siderophores belonging to four different classes were identified and quantified. The results were validated using ICP MS detection of iron by matching the sum of iron complexes determined by isotope exchange-ESI MS within each peak observed by FastSEC-ICP MS.

Qualitative and semi-quantitative study of radiolytic products of tributyl phosphate-functionalized ionic liquids

Tributyl phosphate-functionalized ionic liquids (TBPs-ILs) have excellent separation performance for actinides and are expected to be used in spent fuel reprocessing. In this study, the radiolytic products of the TBPs-ILs were studied by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) and theoretical calculations. The results showed that the substitution reaction mainly occurred on the alkyl chains of phosphate groups, and the main radiolytic products were identified as TBPs-ILs-CF3. Finally, the radiolysis mechanism of TBPs-ILs under gamma irradiation was also proposed.
