Knowledge, Acceptance and Readiness to the K-12 Program Among Technical–Vocational Teachers

The study sought the preparedness among technical-vocational teachers towards the K-12 Program implementation. This descriptive-correlation study determined the level of knowledge, acceptance and readiness to the K-12 program implementation among technical-vocational high school teachers. There were 63 respondents included using the stratified random sampling. The study intends to seek answers towards the level of knowledge, acceptance and readiness of the respondent before the implementation of the K-12 Program. Findings served as the bases for intervention scheme through an orientation plan for the recommended programs. There is a very high level of knowledge, high level of acceptance and readiness among technical-vocational high school teachers towards the K-12 Program. There is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of readiness and no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of readiness and level of acceptance and level of readiness towards the K-12 Program implementation among the respondents. The technical-vocational high school teachers of the Division of Davao City, possessed, practiced, and are prepared to implement the K-12 Program under R.A.10157 and have strengthened the program. The proposed intervention scheme through an orientation plan as programs for technical-vocational high school teachers training after thorough study should be implemented, monitored and evaluated by both the respective school heads, division education supervisor on technical-vocational program education of the Division of Davao City, Philippines.

WHERE ARE WE AND WHERE ARE WE GOING: EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION INITIATIVES IN SAN PABLO COLLEGES

This study explored the relationship between employees’ attitude, values, intentions, and readiness towards innovation. The study employed a mixed-methods design with a sample of 70 employees from various departments of San Pablo Colleges including teachers, non-teaching staff and administrators. The participants completed a survey to assess their attitude, values, intentions, and readiness towards innovation. A focused-group discussion involving 13 employees was also conducted to ascertain directions as regards innovation efforts of the college. The results showed that employees’ positive attitude, strong values and intentions, and high level of readiness towards innovation were positively correlated. Specifically, employees who had a positive attitude towards innovation also had strong values that aligned with the innovation goals and were more likely to intend to participate in the innovation initiatives. Furthermore, employees who had a high level of readiness for change were more likely to have positive attitudes, strong values, and intentions to participate in the pursuits for innovation. Based on the focused-conversation results, SPC is considering 3 priority innovation areas: Teaching and Learning Innovation; Social-Ecological Innovation; and Technology and Governance Innovation.

Disaster Preparedness Amongst Emergency Pharmacists for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™: A Cross-Sectional Survey.

The aim of this study is to assess the level of preparedness of pharmacists working in the emergency department at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for any emergency disasters that may take place during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ by evaluating their awareness (A), attitude (A), and readiness (R). A cross-sectional quantitative observational study was conducted through a web-based survey. The survey was distributed among emergency pharmacists working in general hospitals under HMC. The questionnaire was composed of three major domains assessing awareness, attitude, readiness, as well as an additional domain to collect the participants' demographics. Student's t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation, and linear regression were used with an alpha level of 0.05. Most pharmacists working in the emergency departments at HMC had high levels of awareness (76.9%), attitude (92%), and readiness (53.8%) for any emergency disasters that may occur during the FIFA World Cup 2022. Nonetheless, almost half of the respondents reported moderate level of readiness for emergency events. Pharmacists with >10 years' practice experience had significantly higher AAR score compared to those with <5 years' experience (P = 0.002). Significant direct positive correlations were found among the 3 AAR parameters (P < 0.05). Attitude was found to be a significant predictor of readiness (P < 0.05). A model composed of attitude and awareness could predict 12% of readiness score. Emergency pharmacists at HMC have high level of preparedness for any emergency disaster event during the World Cup. Future research should focus on the development of theory-based action framework for pharmacy departments during mass gathering events.

Exploring equity, diversity, and inclusion in a simulation program using the SIM-EDI tool: the impact of a reflexive tool for simulation educators

BackgroundThere have been increasing calls for awareness and action related to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in simulation but a lack of practical guidance for how simulation delivery teams (SDTs) might move towards meaningful transformation. The gap between academic conversations about EDI and how to practically impact SDT attitudes, behaviors, and performance remains considerable. We designed a conversational tool, the SIM-EDI, to bridge the gap between theory and practice for SDTs by enhancing reflexivity and studied its impact locally.MethodsWe engaged in a collaborative autoethnography to explore EDI within our emergency department SDT shortly after implementing the SIM-EDI. The 12-month ethnography is informed by our team’s collection and analysis of data about ourselves and our own experiences using the tool. Data included serial interviews, field notes from simulations and SDT meetings, SDT documents, and self-reflections.ResultsWe found the SIM-EDI tool could be implemented with a team with a high level of readiness. Use of the tool had several meaningful impacts including enhanced team reflexivity, normalization of conversations related to EDI and increased confidence to engage in EDI conversations with participants. Key themes throughout the process included (1) individual and team growth, (2) fear of “getting it wrong”, and (3) tension between bias towards action and need for slow reflection.ConclusionThe SIM-EDI tool can effectively promote reflexivity among faculty in an emergency department simulation program. The tool is easy to use and implement, impacts attitudes and behaviors, and facilitates individual and team growth.

In today’s conditions, the new directions of combat training of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine require from hand-to-hand combat the improvement of a set of means for training, education and formation of servicemen in technical, tactical, physical and mental readiness for actions in difficult conditions of close combat. the purposeof the study is to investigate changes in indicators of the development of general physical qualities based on the results of the implementation of the methodology of their development by means of hand-to-hand combat. Research methods: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature, as well as methods of mathematical statistics. more than 70 sources of information were analyzed and 30 sources of literature were singled out, the material of which was processed using general scientific methods. 36 servicemen (EG=18 and CG=18) aged 17-24 took part in the experiment (19.6±0.2 years). Results. It has been established that special physical training as an educational discipline plays an important role in ensuring the training of military personnel and specialists of power structures with a high level of versatile physical and psychological readiness, capable of effectively and qualitatively solving assigned tasks, withstanding mental, neuropsychological and physical stress without reducing efficiency military professional activity. the results of the implementation of hand-to-hand combat means demonstrate the high efficiency of the developed system of physical training of military personnel for effective actions in the conditions of professional activity and conducting combat operations. Conclusions. It was established that there were positive changes in the experimental and control groups. the increase in general physical qualities in the control group is not significant, but it is in connection with the monitoring of the implementation of the program by military personnel, at the same time, in the experimental group, the increase in qualities is noticeable, this is due to the fact that the number of hours of physical training classes has increased and means of hand-to-hand combat have been added to general training of military personnel

Updating the Military Unique Curriculum for a Ready Medical Force.

Previous conflicts have demonstrated the impact of physician readiness on early battlefield mortality rates. To prepare for the lethal nature of today's threat environment and the rapid speed with which conflict develops, our medical force needs to sustain a high level of readiness in order to be ready to "fight tonight." Previous approaches that have relied on on-the-job training, just-in-time predeployment training, or follow-on courses after residency are unlikely to satisfy these readiness requirements. Sustaining the successes in battlefield care achieved in Iraq and Afghanistan requires the introduction of effective combat casualty care earlier and more often in physician training. This needs assessment seeks to better understand the requirements, challenges, and opportunities to include the Military Unique Curriculum (MUC) during graduate medical education. This needs assessment used a multifaceted methodology. First, a literature review was performed to assess how Military Unique Curricula have evolved since their initial conception in 1988. Next, to determine their current state, a needs-based assessment survey was designed for trainees and program directors (PDs), each consisting of 18 questions with a mixture of multiple choice, ranking, Likert scale, and free-text questions. Cognitive interviewing and expert review were employed to refine the survey before distribution. The Housestaff Survey was administered using an online format and deployed to Internal Medicine trainees at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). The Program Director Survey was sent to all Army and Navy Internal Medicine Program Directors. This project was deemed to not meet the definition of research in accordance with 32 Code of Federal Regulation 219.102 and Department of Defense Instruction 3216.02 and was therefore registered with the WRNMMC Quality Management Division. Out of 64 Walter Reed Internal Medicine trainees who received the survey, 32 responses were received. Seven of nine PDs completed their survey. Only 12.5% of trainees felt significantly confident that they would be adequately prepared for a combat deployment upon graduation from residency with the current curriculum. Similarly, only 14.29% of PDs felt that no additional training was needed. A majority of trainees were not satisfied with the amount of training being received on any MUC topic. When incorporating additional training on MUC topics, respondents largely agreed that simulation and small group exercises were the most effective modalities to employ, with greater than 50% of both trainees and PDs rating these as most or second most preferred among seven options. Additionally, there was a consensus that training should be integrated into the existing curriculum/rotations as much as possible. Current Military Unique Curricula do not meet the expected requirements of future battlefields. Several solutions to incorporate more robust military unique training without creating any significant additional time burdens for trainees do exist. Despite the limitation of these results being limited to a single institution, this needs assessment provides a starting point for improvement to help ensure that we limit the impact of any "peacetime effect."

The transition from the concept of «education for life» is updated to the concept of «education throughout life», while improving labor efficiency requires additional education, qualifications, as well as professional retraining, therefore, it is necessary to develop a system of high-quality professional guidance for the population of Russia, capable of promptly responding to the challenges of an economy focused on innovative development.

Heat vulnerability, climate readiness, and health outcomes: linking anticipatory adaptation in Urban Korea

ABSTRACT Can climate policy efforts with proactive health adaptation be helpful to mitigate the adverse impacts of heat events? In this work, we identify the relationships between heat vulnerability and health outcomes and articulate the potential role of anticipatory adaptation in reducing the vulnerability to heat events within major cities of Korea over a recent five-year period (2010–2015). From the perspectives of vulnerability-readiness nexus and anticipatory adaptation, our work integrates heat vulnerability with health outcomes that assist in accounting for climate adaptation policy efforts using a quantitative approach. Our results suggest that positive associations exist between heat vulnerability and health outcomes. Further, high levels of anticipatory adaptation and climate readiness can play crucial roles in mitigating the negative effects of heat events and enhancing health adaptation.

Information and communication technology in agriculture: awareness, readiness and adoption in the Kingdom of Bahrain

PurposeInformation and communication technologies (ICT)-presented technological developments, such as soil sensors, remote sensing, artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, have shown the potential to increase crop output and quality while consuming fewer resources and having a smaller environmental impact. The first step in ushering in a new era of technological advancement in the agricultural sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain is evaluating how prepared farmers and farm owners are to adopt these technologies. Therefore, the current study examines how ICT are prepared, accepted and adopted in agriculture in the Kingdom of Bahrain.Design/methodology/approachThe study's goals were attained by using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. A survey was created to learn more about the present state of ICT usage in agriculture, including its awareness, readiness, acceptance and adoption. To strengthen the conclusions and investigate the current situation related agricultural behavior, production and the use of information technology (IT) to support agriculture in the chosen farms, four exploratory field visits were made. Additionally, a strength-weakness-opportunities-threat (SWOT)-threat, opportunities, weakness, strength (TOWS) analysis was performed to evaluate the Kingdom of Bahrain's readiness and long-term plans for implementing ICT in agriculture. On the basis of secondary data, survey data and interview findings, SWOT-TOWS were created.FindingsThe findings revealed insufficient knowledge and awareness about ICT in agriculture. Despite the high level of digital infrastructure readiness in Bahrain, farmers are not ready to adopt sophisticated devices and complex applications such as crop sensing tools, the internet of things (IoT) and AI; however, there is a strong acceptance among farmers to implement new ideas and agriculture approaches.Originality/valueThe Arabian Gulf Countries, which are characterized by an arid environment, sporadic vegetation, weak soil and a lack of water supplies and arable land, have few studies that explore the crucial role of ICT in growing the agricultural sector. Considering the influence of ICT on the provision of more productive agriculture in a challenging and complicated environment, the study contributes to the body of knowledge by conducting an empirical investigation that addresses an urgent issue. The study is considered one of the few in the countries of the Arabian Gulf to address this subject.

Recent Progress in the Production of Cyanide-Converting Nitrilases—Comparison with Nitrile-Hydrolyzing Enzymes

Nitrilases have a high potential for application in organic chemistry, environmental technology, and analytics. However, their industrial uses require that they are produced in highly active and robust forms at a reasonable cost. Some organic syntheses catalyzed by nitrilases have already reached a high level of technological readiness. This has been enabled by the large-scale production of recombinant catalysts. Despite some promising small-scale methods being proposed, the production of cyanide-converting nitrilases (cyanide hydratase and cyanide dihydratase) is lagging in this regard. This review focuses on the prospects of cyanide(di)hydratase-based catalysts. The current knowledge of these enzymes is summarized and discussed in terms of the origin and distribution of their sequences, gene expression, structure, assays, purification, immobilization, and uses. Progresses in the production of other nitrilase catalysts are also tackled, as it may inspire the development of the preparation processes of cyanide(di)hydratases.

The role of readiness and confidence to change in the treatment of atypical anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.

Atypical anorexia nervosa (AN) is a serious eating disorder that is more common in the population than AN. Despite this, people with atypical AN are less likely to be referred or admitted for eating disorder treatment and there is evidence that they are less likely to complete or benefit from existing interventions. This study examined whether baseline readiness and/or confidence moderated outcomes from 10-session cognitive behavioral therapy among people with atypical AN and bulimia nervosa (BN), and whether the impact of these variables differed between diagnoses. Participants (n = 67; 33 with atypical AN) were a subset from an outpatient treatment study. Linear mixed model analyses were conducted to examine whether baseline readiness and/or confidence moderated outcomes. People with BN who had higher levels of readiness or confidence at baseline had steeper decreases in eating disorder psychopathology over time. There was no evidence that readiness or confidence moderated outcomes for people with atypical AN. This study suggests that the moderators that have been identified for other eating disorders may not apply for people with atypical AN and highlights a need for future work to routinely investigate whether theoretically or empirically driven variables moderate outcomes in this little-understood population. People with bulimia nervosa with higher readiness and confidence experienced greater decreases in eating disorder symptoms than people with lower readiness and confidence when treated with cognitive behavioral therapy. These findings did not apply to people with atypical anorexia nervosa. Results demonstrate that future work is urgently required to identify helpful treatments for people with atypical anorexia nervosa as well as the variables that have a positive impact on outcomes in treatment for these individuals.

ISO 9001:2015 EMPLOYEE PREPAREDNESS AND WORK ENGAGEMENT AMONG CONSTRUCTION FIRMS IN DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES

As everyone in the quality game is aware, the world now has a new version of ISO 9001. ISO standards touch almost everything an organization does and it helps to make the world a safer and more efficient place. This drives the need to evaluate the effectiveness of the standard and make changes to drive continual improvement within the organizations and industry-wide. The study was primarily conducted to determine the relationship between ISO 9001:2015 employee preparedness and work engagement among construction firms in Davao City. This study utilized a descriptive correlational research approach since the study sought to establish the relationship between ISO 9001:2015 preparedness and employee engagement among the construction firms in Davao City. Primary data were gathered and used in the study. This academic undertaking involved a representative sample of employees of the top seven (7) construction firms in Davao City per projects with the Department of Public Works and Highways. This study found out that there is a strong relationship between ISO 9001:2015 preparedness and employee engagement among construction firms in Davao City. It indicates that most of the employees in the construction companies are well-versed in the ISO preparation and implementation phases. Canadian Fire Management Agency Readiness for WildFireSat: Assessment and Strategies for Enhanced Preparedness

Wildfires are worsening in Canada and globally, partly due to climate change. The government of Canada is designing and building WildFireSat, the world’s first purpose-built operational satellite system for wildfire monitoring. It will provide new fire intelligence to support decision-making. It takes time for fire management agencies to use new information: to understand it and its implications, change processes, develop training, and modify computer systems. Preparing for the system’s prelaunch will allow agencies to benefit more rapidly from the new information. We present (1) an assessment of the readiness of 12 Canadian fire management agencies to integrate WildFireSat information and (2) guidance for reducing readiness gaps. We used survey and other data to score readiness indicators for three readiness components: understanding, organization, and information technology. We weighted the influence of each indicator score on each component. We modelled scoring and weighting uncertainties and used Monte Carlo simulation to generate distributions of aggregated agency readiness. The results indicated that most agencies have a moderate level of readiness while others have a higher level of readiness. Cluster analysis was used to group agencies by similarity in multiple dimensions. Strategies for increasing readiness are highlighted. This identifies opportunities for agencies and the WildFireSat team to collaborate on enhancing readiness for the forthcoming WildFireSat data products.

Online Teaching Readiness of Early Childhood Education Teachers

Implementation of online teaching and learning is an educational method that conceptualizes technology integration in teacher-teaching practices. Therefore, teachers' readiness to implement the online teaching approach is crucial to ensuring that the teaching implemented can enhance the individual's abilities. This is because, an effective and meaningful acquisition of knowledge will produce competitive individuals, ready to face the challenges of the advanced technology world and adapt to current needs. Therefore, this review study was carried out to identify teachers' readiness to implement online teaching using questionnaire instruments. A total of 229 early childhood education teachers in the Kota Bharu district, Kelantan were involved as respondents in this survey. Descriptive analysis shows that teachers' technology skills and knowledge were at a high level (M = 3.63, SD = 0.71). In addition, teachers' attitudes towards online teaching, commitment and time management show similar findings with a high mean score, 3.80 and 3.55 respectively. Meanwhile, the findings of the correlation test show a significant and positive relationship between the knowledge and technical skills of the teacher and the attitude (r = 0.528, p <0.1). The Spearman Rho correlation test also shows that there is a significant and strong relationship between teachers' experiences in online teaching and learning and teacher attitude (r = 0.617, p = 0.000). In conclusion, the findings of this study show that teachers have a high level of online teaching readiness. It is hoped this study can serve as a guide on teachers' readiness for online teaching.

School Inclusion of Refugee Students: Recent Trends From International Data

As children with refugee backgrounds continue to enroll in schools worldwide, attention to their educational needs and experiences has increased. In this study, we analyze the extent that schools and classrooms provide refugee students with equitable educational opportunities compared to students who are not refugees, and whether their teachers feel prepared for and engaged in culturally responsive instructional practices. Using survey data on 130,803 teachers and 8,054 schools sampled from 41 predominantly distant resettlement host countries in the 2018 Teaching and Learning International Survey, we find lower levels of resources, safety, and social inclusion for refugee students but higher levels of preparation and instructional practices in multicultural education among their teachers. The results have policy implications for supporting students with refugee backgrounds in different school contexts.

Implementation of Binary practice session in the System of Special Physical Training of future law enforcement officers

According to the results of the monitoring of specialized Internet sources, the analysis of scientific and methodological and reference literature, the members of the research group established, that the urgent issue of determining the effectiveness of the implementation of binary training classes in the system of special physical training of future officers of institutions of the security and defense sector of Ukraine is devoted to an insufficient number of studies, this, in turn, emphasizes the relevance and practical component of the chosen direction of scientific research.&#x0D; The main goal of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of binary training classes in the system of special physical training (content module 4. Hand-to-hand training and measures of physical impact, force) cadets of the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine and cadets of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine.&#x0D; As a result of the empirical study, the members of the research group determined the effectiveness of the implementation of binary educational and training classes in the system of special physical training (content module 4. Hand-to- hand training and measures of physical impact, force) cadets of the Kyiv Institute of the National Guard of Ukraine and cadets of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. The analysis of empirical data testified to the positive dynamics of the formation of the readiness of cadets of higher education of the studied category to conduct hand-to-hand combat (application of techniques and tactics of measures of physical impact, force) in different conditions of service and combat (operational) activity by cadets of Eg. In addition, it was found that during the pedagogical experiment, the number of cadets with a low level of formation of the studied indicators significantly decreased by 44 %, at the same time, the number of cadets who have a high level of readiness for hand-to-hand combat has increased (application of techniques and tactics of measures of physical impact, force) by 19 %. Among the respondents of Kg, the above-mentioned changes are expressed insignificantly.&#x0D; Prospects for further research in the chosen direction of scientific intelligence include determining the effectiveness of binary training classes in the system of sectional work of future officers of institutions of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.

Assessment of COVID-19 preparedness response plan on higher education students simulation of WHO intra-action review in Egypt

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Mass gathering restrictions were imposed. The lockdown of the Higher Education Institutions was obligatory to save lives. In February 2021 in Egypt, HEIs were allowed to ease the lockdown restrictions on a case-by-case basis gradually. In this paper, we propose a risk evaluation of planned regular mass gathering events during the pandemic, such as students gathering on-campus during indoor exams, by implementing WHO COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan through Intra-Action Review guidance. This one-group posttest-only design study was done on October 6 University campus during indoor students' exams in Giza, Egypt. We conducted IAR to implement the WHO's COVID- 19 SPRP; Country-level coordination; risk communication; surveillance, rapid response teams; points of entry; infection prevention control; laboratories; supply chain; case management; essential health services, and other possible topics. Between February-21, 2021; April-10, 2021, 25,927 students attended the on-campus living exams. Our result suggests that the high level of Readiness–Capacity during mass gatherings will reduce COVID-19 transmission. The most compelling evidence is the significance of synchronization between the ten pillars in preventing COVID-19 transmission. These findings may be used to influence decision-making for continual improvement of the operational planning guidelines during the outbreaks.

Préparation estimée et vulnérabilité des pays face à la pandémie de COVID-19: Elaboration et approbation de l'Index global

La pandémie de COVID-19 et ses conséquences socio-économiques ont provoqué une augmentation notable du rôle de l'estimation de la préparation et la vulnérabilité des pays. Cela s'ajoute aux investigations existantes dans le cadre des ont internationales et des classements multidimensionnels, et présente des résultats d'évaluation complexe au niveau national de la préparation et la vulnérabilité face à la pandémie, à partir des index multidimensionnels proposés par les auteurs. L'objectif de cette recherche était d'estimer le niveau de préparation national et la vulnérabilité d'un point de vue complexe. Un index multidimensionnel global a été calculé et utilisé pour donner un classement des pays à partir de cette méthodologie. L'index a permis aux auteurs de conclure qu'il y a une différence importante dans le niveau de préparation face à une pandémie et une disproportion entre certains éléments du système pour chaque pays. L'analyse des données, les sources et les rapports ont souligné le besoin d'étendre la liste des indicateurs pour évaluer le niveau de vulnérabilité. L'opportunité d'utiliser cet index est prouvée par l'analyse corrélative statistique entre les sous-index et le niveau de morbidité et mortalité due au COVID-19. L'index est utilisé pour former des groupes multidimensionnels et le partitionnement de données permet d'estimer les conséquences économiques de la pandémie. Les résultats du partitionnement de données ont permis de former quatre groupes de pays : (1) très vulnérables avec faible niveau de préparation ; (2) vulnérables avec faible niveau de préparation ; (3) vulnérables avec haut niveau de préparation ; (4) peu vulnérables avec haut niveau de préparation. L'analyse comparative des conséquences économiques (changement annuel PIB en 2020-2019 par rapport à PIB en 2019-2017), taux de chômage et changement de l'inflation ont montré des disproportions de l'influence de la pandémie par groupes de pays.

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) Students’ Readiness for Practice Teaching: Basis for Enhancement Training Plan

This study delved into assessing the readiness for practice teaching of Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) students. Specifically, it determined to ascertain the level of readiness in terms of lesson planning, teaching strategy, and classroom management. Employing a quantitative approach, and a descriptive statistics research design, the research involved 180 fourth-year BEED students from the Philippine College Foundation’s School of Education. They were chosen through simple random sampling from the total population. Data collection utilized a researcher-made survey questionnaire that underwent validation process. In treating the data, weighted mean and standard deviation were employed. Findings revealed that BEED students have a high level of readiness for practice teaching concerning lesson planning and teaching strategy while a very high level of readiness in the area of classroom management. However, certain indicators exhibited slightly lower weighted means in comparison to others. Assessing primary health care readiness for large-scale electronic health record system implementation: Project team perspective.

The introduction of information technology was one of the key priorities for policymakers in healthcare organisations over the last two decades, due to the potential benefits of this technology to improve healthcare services and quality. However, about 50% of those projects failed to achieve their intended aims. This was as a result of several factors and included the level of readiness to the new IT projects. The aim of the study was to assess the readiness of Saudi primary health care centres (PHCCs) readiness for the implementation of an electronic health record system (EHRS) from the project team perspective. Explanatory mixed methods design was used with both qualitative and quantitative methods. Thirty-one members of project team at the ministry of health (MOH) participated in the online-based questionnaire, while 13 participants from the same population took part in the semi-structure interviews. Eight different readiness scales were quantitatively examined. These scales include resources, Knowledge, process, management structure and administrative support, end user, technology and values and goals. Although, very high level of readiness has been recorded at the process, management structure and administrative support levels, readiness was average at the end user, technology and values and goals levels. Moreover, the study findings revealed that primary health care centres readiness for an electronic health record system must be considered in the early stages of implementation (pre-implementation phase), particularly readiness at a technical level, such as preparedness of the infrastructure. A positive significant correlation has been recorded between all readiness scales with centralization of management system and financial resources. Overall, the level of primary health care centres readiness recorded to be high, which indicates that primary health care centres are ready for implementation of the electronic health record system, and in this context, management structure, organizational process, financial recourses and administrative support play significant roles to increase the project success rate.
