However, machine learning technology brings a vast benefit which provides a computer the potential to learn without programming it. One of the applications of machine learning is E-learning. E-learning makes many things possible especially for learners to learn anytime and anywhere as well as in online on their own. Customization on E-learnings has two steps- first part of the customization is forecasting the elegance and the second is suggesting the counsel of course selection depending upon the performance. Here the challenges in E-learning to tackle and discuss the customization classification which is the grade prediction.

Deep Learning Techniques for COVID-19 Detection Based on Chest X-ray and CT-scan Images: A Short Review and Future Perspective

Today, humans live in the era of rapid growth in electronic devices that are based on artificial intelligence, including the significant growth in the manufacture of machines that perform intelligent human tasks to solve complex situations. Artificial intelligence will significantly influence the development of many domains, especially the medical domain, which relies heavily on artificial intelligence techniques in diagnosing disease data and manufacturing drugs and vaccines. Artificial intelligence has unexpectedly advanced in helping physicians and healthcare workers save many lives, especially during the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This article reviews some literature that have applied deep learning techniques to detect COVID-19 based on chest x-rays and CT-scans images. This article concluded that deep learning techniques have a fundamental and significant role in diagnosing a big dataset of images and assisting specialists in determining whether a person is infected (positive cases).

Multi-objective Heat Sink Optimization by Using Taguchi Method

Abstract: Nowadays, with the rapid growth in electronic devices, compact and efficient heat sinks are required in day-to-day life. That’s why it's need to be use optimized heat sinks. The excess heat generated causes damage in different parts also generates major problems in the system. So, in this work three-dimensional square channel of copper material is used to study heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop. The comparative numerical analysis of thermal management system different parameter like coolant fluid, inlet velocity of fluid, shape of obstacles, aspect ratio of obstacles and number of obstacles is presented in this paper. Analysis and optimization of the heat sink are done by three different methods i.e., experimental, analytical, and simulation. In this work analytical and simulation method is used for the optimization of a heat sink. There are many software’s are available for analysis and optimization, by using the “COMSOL Multi-physics software” we optimize multi objectives heat sink. After analytical and numerical analysis, to optimize best result Taguchi method is preferred, for that MINITAB software is used. Simulation of Minichannel Liquid Based Thermoelectric Cooling System by Changing Dimension of Minichannel and Type of Heat Transfer Fluid

Abstract: In recent time, due to exponential growth in electronic devices there is significant increase in heat dissipating element like integrated circuits(IC), graphical 2Assistant Professor, processing units (GPU) and central processing units (CPU). If there is no proper arrangement for heat removal it can permanently damage whole system. There are several methods used for this, one of which is thermoelectric cooling which works on peltier effect, thermoelectric devices with proper cooling arrangement act like heat pump which removes heat from one side and provide it to another side. The drawback of this system is low efficiency. In this project CFD analysis is done for minichannels of different dimensions along with thermoelectric. Simulation is performed by changing parameters such as hydraulic diameter of minichannel, changing type of heat transfer fluid and mass flow rate of fluid. The study reveals that by optimizing these parameters performance of thermoelectric system can be improved. The aim of this study is to optimize these parameters in order to improve overall heat transfer coefficient and coefficient of performance of the system. Polymeric materials for electromagnetic shielding - A review

With advent of modern technology, there is a rapid rise in growth of electronic devices which in-turn creates radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI).This demands an extensive research in EMI shielding materials as the modern electronic devices malfunctions due to EMI generated. In general, high electrical conductivity metals and their alloys have served as ideal shielding materials due to their high shielding effectiveness (SE). Their disadvantages like heavy weight, rigidity and corrodibility has increased the research on development of alternatives to serve purpose of EMI shielding. Hence, it is necessary to develop lightweight, thin, and easy-to-design EMI shielding materials for electronic device. In addition, if the selected material is biodegradable and environment friendly, it will add advantage to it. Polymeric materials and their composites have been used as EMI shielding materials due to their characteristics like light weight, good corrosive resistance, superior electrical, dielectric, thermal, mechanical and magnetic properties. Also, it can be degraded without creating any environment pollution. In this review article, shielding effectiveness of various polymeric materials and their composites have been deeply reviewed. In addition, this article covers the various nano-fillers and other materials that can be added along with polymers for EMI shielding.

Cyber Security Framework for Vehicular Network Based on a Hierarchical Game

The growth of electronic devices in connected vehicles and their connections to the untrusted network, present unprecedented exposure to attacks. Therefore, a reliable and efficient cyber security framework is mandatory to protect vehicular networks against the cyber attackers. Thereby, we propose a cyber defense framework based on a hierarchical cooperative game to secure legitimate vehicles from attacks. In the proposed hierarchical game, there are two kinds of players, the head agent and secondary agents that cooperate between each other to detect, predict and react efficiently against suspected attacks. The Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Intrusion Prediction System (IPS), and Intrusion Reaction System (IRS) represent the secondary players, where their strategies are to carry out the detection, prediction and reaction actions, respectively. The Intrusion Decision Agent (IDA) is the head player and is responsible for making decisions in launching the strategies of IDS, IPS and IRS players. The secondary and head agents are to collaborate in order to decrease the false positive and false negative rates, while minimizing the processing delay and overhead. Numerical results show that, our cyber defense game requires low communications overhead and low delay to achieve low false positive and false negative rates as compared to the current intrusion detection and prediction frameworks.

Thermal analyses of minichannels and use of mathematical and numerical models

Growth in electronic devices comes with a challenge to engineers to provide proficient cooling mechanism in order to evade performance decline. Minichannel heat sinks are one among type of cooling devices to absorb heat formed in the electronic devices. Air is largely employed as cooling fluid in minichannels, but innovative methods are also adopted to enhance the heat transfer during the process. These days with modifications in the fluid flow passage and using liquid coolants such as nanofluids the Nusselt number is enhanced. These structural modifications adopted and different nanofluids employed with various volume concentrations and flow rates passed through minichannels to obtain enhancement in heat transfer rate are compiled in this article. The approach for these investigations is majorly categorized into numerical and experimental works. Numerical studies consisting of wide spread modeling methods like single phase/two phase flow modeling, laminar, transition/turbulent modeling etc. are reviewed. The related in-depth numerical and mathematical models used for computational analyses are detailed out exclusively. Experimental methods consisting of unusual passive techniques such as dimples/protrusions, pin fins, and corrugated channels. to achieve betterment in minichannel thermal performance are also provided. Another prime highlight of this article is compilation (in tabular form) of all the correlations and mathematical models used and developed to analyze different factors/properties during the thermal analyses. This article is concluded by providing an overall idea of different mathematical models and methods adopted in minichannels heat transfer analyses and future aspects to be addressed. Several important areas in minichannels heat transfer analyses exist which demand the optimization of heat and fluid flow processes and the use of machine learning concepts for analysis.

Corrosion-induced tin whisker growth in electronic devices: a review

PurposeThe aim of this paper is to present a review of the tin whisker growth phenomena. The study focuses mainly on whisker growth in a corrosive climate when the main inducing factor of the whisker growth is oxidation. The tin whisker phenomenon is still a big challenge in lead-free reflow soldering technology. Modern lead-free alloys and surface finishes with high tin content are considered to be possible sources of whisker development, also the evolution of electronic devices towards further complexity and miniaturization points to an escalation of the reliability risks.Design/methodology/approachThe present work was based on a worldwide literature review of the substantial previous works in the past decade, as well as on the results and experience of the authors in this field.FindingsThe effect of corrosion on tin whisker growth has been under-represented in reports of mainstream research; however, in the past five years, significant results were obtained in the field which raised the corrosion phenomena from being a side effect category into one of the main inducing factors. This paper summarizes the most important findings of this field.Practical implicationsThis literature review provides engineers and researchers with a better understanding of the role of corrosion in tin whisker growth and the current challenges in tin whisker mitigation.Originality/valueThe unique challenges and future research directions about the tin whisker phenomenon were shown to highlight rarely discussed risks and problems in lead-free soldering reliability.

The Influence of Country-of-origin on Consumer Purchase Intention: The Mobile Phones Brand from China

Abstract In modern and competitive era which global marketing is growing day by day, consumer perceptions towards product country-of-origin has changed from one to other new perspective. The new perception might results in both possibilities either in favourable or unfavourable dimensions, not excluded products from China. Growth of electronic devices in China such as mobile phones is among relevant to be studied. Thus, this study aims to investigate the determinant factors of country-of-origin that consumer considers in purchasing mobile phones brand that originated from China. Country image, perceived product quality and brand familiarity have been used as pre-determined factors in measuring consumer's purchase intention. A total of 200 set of questionnaires were distributed randomly in Klang Valley. The hypotheses which were tested using Pearson Correlation have revealed that all pre-determined variables are significant and highly correlated in influencing consumer purchase intention towards mobile phones brand from China. Other than providing a remarkable change of people perceptions towards mobile phone brand from China, the findings would also be very useful to consumers and marketers especially who involve directly and indirectly with the country of China as their product and service providers’ origin.
