Тhe study focuses on the activities of artisan and agricultural schools in the Kharkiv regionin 1941-1943. Objective: to describe the Nazi educational process for the occupation schools for thepreparation of young people in working professions. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the factthat for the first time: – a number of new archival sources and documents from the period of the Germanoccupation of the Kharkiv region of 1941-1943 were introduced into scientific circulation; investigatedthe tactical steps of the Nazi occupation authorities regarding the labor resources of the Kharkiv region,identified and analyzed in detail its main features. In the course of the work, the study of the principlesof the German occupation policy was improved; reviewed the main aspects of the policy of the localoccupation authorities regarding the civilian population of Kharkiv; further development received ananalysis of opinions, views of domestic and foreign scientists who have developed this topic.For a better disclosure of the essence of the educational process in schools for the training of personnelfor various German enterprises, organizations, institutions, principles were used: historicism, objectivity,polyfactory; methods: deduction, induction, problem-chronological, etc. The study describedthe curricula, the regulation of the educational process, which were developed and implemented by theGerman authorities for schools to prepare working professions in the Kharkiv region in 1941-1943. Duringthe study, it was possible to conclude: despite the measures taken, in general, the educational processin the artisan and agricultural schools of the city and region was ineffective. This work has made asignificant contribution to the study of Nazi policies in the occupied territories in the educational sphere,in particular, in the study of the organization and practical implementation of the educational process inschools with the training of young people.
