Financial Analysis of the Construction Company's Product Quality Management System

This scientific study considers the issues of financial analysis of the construction company's products quality management system. The functioning of this system is of great importance in the activities of a construction company, since the quality of products is one of the main evaluation criteria of its activities; therefore, the analysis of the financial component of this system is of primary importance in terms of evaluating the final quality of construction products. The relevance of the subject matter is determined by the need for a thorough study of the features of the functioning of construction enterprises in terms of the financial component of the activity of the quality management system of manufactured products in order to create effective control tools and improve various aspects of their activities. The purpose of this study is to identify the main aspects that affect the financial performance of construction companies in terms of trends in improving the quality of products. The leading approach in this study is a combination of a system analysis of the features of the functioning of enterprises in the construction sector with an analytical study of the financial component of the activities of enterprises in the construction sector in the context of the functioning of the product quality management system of these companies. The main results obtained in the course of this study should be considered an assessment of the economic efficiency of the activities of the construction organisations selected as an example of quality management systems in Almaty, as well as a statement of differences in the activities of the construction companies selected for the analysis of quality management systems. The applied value of this study is determined by the possibility of practical application of the results obtained in the course of it to develop optimal criteria for assessing the quality of the functioning of the quality management system of a construction organisation in the context of the financial aspect of its activities.

Methodology of determining benchmarks and indicators characterizing the functioning of the enterprise quality management system

At the present time interest at industrial enterprises is increasing from year to year, both in the implementation of quality management systems and in an adequate assessment of their effectiveness in the operation process. Performance assessment allows you to quantitatively determine the degree of implementation of planned activities and is used in the process of analysis the quality management systems by leadership as one of the sources of information characterizing the state of the system. At the same time, nowadays there is no unified criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of quality management systems, therefore, each company individually choose benchmarks and indicators characterizing the quality management system and methods of their determinaning. This article proposes an universal method for determining benchmarks and indicators characterizing the functioning of the quality management system of enterprises participating in the product life cycle. The methodology establishes a list of indicators of different levels, determines the totality of the initial information proposed for use in determining benchmarks and indicators for monitoring the effectiveness of quality management systems, and proposes a calculation of the main benchmarks and indicators. The developed technique can be implemented for assessing the effectiveness of the quality management system of enterprises of industry participating in the product life cycle for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9000.

Factors of influence on the formation and functioning of quality management systems of enterprises in the field of engineering services

Purpose. The aim of the article is substantiation of the factors influencing the formation and functioning of quality management systems of enterprises in the field of engineering services. Methodology of research. The methods of analysis and synthesis, systematization, theoretical generalization and experimental have been used to investigate the issues of formation of quality management systems of enterprises of the field of engineering services of energy direction in the context of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015; graphic – for visual presentation of factors that influence the formation and functioning of quality management systems of enterprises in the field of engineering. Findings. It is established that the formation and implementation of quality management systems in the context of the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 at enterprises of the field of engineering services is an effective means of improving the quality of work (services), ensuring the competitiveness and development of companies, achievement of key business goals. It is proved that an important aspect in the formation and implementation of QMS of engineering enterprises is their integration into the company management system. The influence of internal and external factors on the formation and functioning of quality management systems of engineering enterprises as a means of reducing risks, improving the performance of companies and meeting the needs of their stakeholders is substantiated. Originality. The substantiation of the influence of internal and external factors on the formation and functioning of the QMS of engineering enterprises and on their management system has been further developed. Practical value. The analysis of the influence of internal and external factors on the formation and functioning of quality management systems in the context of requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 of enterprises in the field of engineering services makes it possible to reduce the level of uncertainty and risks in the processes of the companies' activities, to improve the quality of work (services) and to maintain competitive positions. Role of HR Specialists from the Standpoint of Quality Audits

One of the important barriers to the functioning of quality management systems (QMS) is misunderstandings (conflicts) between auditors and staff. It can be assumed that these phenomena are caused by the fact that employees equate audit with inspections, which is almost always accompanied by emotions that make an objective approach to the legitimacy of the „test” more difficult. The question arises to what extent this perception results from the auditor’s behaviors. Against this background, an attempt was made to indicate the extent to which the relations between the auditor and the audited employees can be shaped by a HR specialist. Referring to the literature on the subject and authors’ own experience in empirical research conducted in companies where the QMS systems were implemented based on the ISO 9000 series of standards, the study aims to characterize the tasks which HR specialists should perform in order to prevent conflicts between the internal auditor and the staff.

To the problem of ensuring stability of activities of construction companies engaged in high-rise building construction

Recently, more and more attention in scientific literature has been drawn to improving the sustainability of organization. The growth in the volume of high-rise construction in Russia makes the task of assessing and ensuring the sustainability of organizations and enterprises leading this type of construction very relevant. The article considers the approach to assessing the sustainability of the organization’s activities in the context of functioning of quality management system (QMS). It puts forward the hypothesis that assessment of sustainability of an organization that has a real and efficient functioning quality management system can be based on the results of assessing the effectiveness of the QMS. The article describes in sufficient detail the sequence of actions to form a list of criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the QMS and sustainability of the organization, and to evaluate both characteristics on the basis of these criteria. For a clear interpretation of the results obtained, the authors use so-called petal diagrams. It suggests an original approach to their creation and analysis. Based on the results of the study, the authors conclude that in order to assess the sustainability of enterprises and organizations analysis of the dynamics of changes in the basic sustainability factors is mandatory.

Methodological aspects of evaluating the economic efficiency of the quality management system of business entities

The functioning of the quality management system helps to create a variety of sources of effects that determine the effectiveness of the system. There are four groups of effects: social, environmental, scientific, technical and economic. Each of the effects can be both potential and real. The paper identified different groups of effects the functioning of quality management system, with particular emphasis on the content of the economic effects and problems that arise in their estimation. Systematized used in world practice methodological approaches to evaluating the effectiveness of the quality management system of business entities. The review identified methodologies used methods and tools of evaluation of the effectiveness of the QMS. In the model, a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the integrated management system uses four Cree-deuterium evaluation: degree of conformity of integrable elements of the requirements management system standards; the degree of integration of management systems; the degree of effectiveness of risk management and the economic effect of the introduction of an integrated management system. Significant economic benefits can be achieved due to the orientation of the enterprise quality management system to improve the quality of internal organization, which implies ensuring that the activities of the enterprise standards and procedures established by the JMC. The advantage of this approach is to bring together in a single system of parameters in both qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the effectiveness of the management system, which significantly increases the objectivity of the evaluation. The analyzed approaches to determining the effectiveness of the QMS reflect the diversity of models used in practice, methods, techniques and evaluation tools. In the absence of a recognized regulated methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the QMS business entities, you forced to build their own evaluation mechanism.

Promotion of animal products as opportunity for further development of breeding

In order to ensure safety of meat and meat products as well as necessary repeatability of products quality throughout the food chain, raw materials producers are required to ensure appropriate condition for production (both crops and breeding). It obligates to implementation and application systems such as: Good Agriculture Practise (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Higiene Practice (GHP), and for intermediary companies participating in raw materials trade mandatory implementation of GHP and GMP system as well as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point), QACP (Quality Assurance Control Points), ISO 9001, ISO 22000. In 1987 was established ISO9000 series of standards by International Organization of Standardization for concerning quality management and quality assurance. In this system quality control is continuous and take place at every step from design through production to waste disposal. Application of management systems requires reconstruct and expansion of information flow?s channel between processing (meat processing plant) and raw materials suppliers (breeders of animal of slaugters) regarding rules of preparation and implication of feeds and drugs. Ensuring repeatability quality of producing meat products demand managing by meat processing plant or appointed to this institution, breeders audit and monitoring of livestock and crops. For proper functioning of quality management systems is necessary ensure highest quality in whole chain food, ie from farm to table. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is quality management system, for food production process, which was imtroduce by UE Directive No. 92/46 and is valid in Poland mainly so that the producer can become a reliable supplier of food on the EU market. Adjustment of Polish law to European Union regulations require many activities including the dissemination of the principles of GMP and implementation of HACCP system in food processing (according to Directive EU 93/94/ECC in foodstuffs hygiene). HACCP system is considered as most effective and most efficient tool in ensure high standard of hygiene condition of production and food processing. Generally, HACCAP system can be described as procedures designed to identify the health hazards of food and the risk of their occurrence during all stages of food production and distribution. This is system, which controls and protects risks relevant to consumers safety and their health protect protection. HACCP protects consumer interests giving him assurance of safety and high health quality of purchased food products. The manufacturer is convinced that he did everything to provide product that is safe for human health. A characteristic property of these systems is integration of quality management and food safety, and taking over the supervision and control throughout the food chain according to the principle "from farm to fork"(from farm to fork, from stable to table).
