This form of discrimination is less apparent than other forms of discrimination, since the physical and mental capacity of the individual may change over time, and not all age-related differences in treatment may be regarded as prohibited discrimination, particularly in the field of employment. Conclusions and prospects for the development. The eradication of age discrimination cannot be achieved solely by ensuring equal treatment of persons, regardless of age. This requires changing policy priorities for young people and seniors, developing minimum standards of service or individual products for different age groups, monitoring service delivery, and conducting regular consultations with community organizations that represent their interests. Serious attention should also be paid to raising the legal literacy of the population, in particular by preparing and distributing social advertising, thematic publications and programs in the media.
