PECULIARITIES OF ENGLISH FAIRY TALE SEMANTIC STRUCTURE

The article deals with semantics of English folk fairytales. Conceptual analysis is considered to be a new approach to the learning of folk fairytales. This analysis is performed in terms of cognitive linguistics which deals with structures of knowledge representation, which form language signs and speech patterns. The purpose of the investigation is to identify the patterns of structuring of mental representations which form conceptual (psychological) space of folk fairytale texts. They are considered to be the main prerequisite for both the folk fairytale formation and its understanding. While investigating the folk fairytale texts we have used the frame approach for modeling the conceptual space of a folk fairytale as a sign which is characterized by certain semantics .Our investigation develops Propp’s ideas and is connected with conceptual (cognitive) semantics Nowadays formal apparatus for modeling verbalized knowledge is developed within this field of science.

Specifics of God's sensation in folk fairy tales and mythological dimensions (formulation of the problem)

The article reveals the features of God’s reflection through the prism of mythological ideas and Ukrainian fairy tales. The purpose of the paper is to describe the God’s perception by human, which appears in childhood and which later can be transformed and acquire a different meaning and form, but do not disappear insofar as God gives man the inspiration to live and fight, to enjoy life and victories, to improve his mind and thought, to profess ideals of love and goodness. Relevance of scientific research is to reveal God’s reflection in ancient Ukrainian, antique and Indian mythology on the basis of an analytical approach and the importance which he plays in human life. The novelty of scientific research is that the author tries to find out the mystery of the universe, the values of universal morality and the ontological essence of moral values. The disharmony of human existence raises the needs of the man and nature unity, and therefore, in his being a person seeks to create a mental harmony, forming in the minds such a picture of the world in which it is possible to find answers to the sensational issues. A person needs to know himself through the knowledge of spiritual divine manifestations in himself. Mythology and fairy tales, which described God and the most mysterious aspects of cognition played a significant role in human life. Conclusions. In the article is found out that in Ukrainian fairy tales God appears as a certain symbol through which a person can know him, as well as himself, to know human spiritual divine manifestations, the moral concepts essence of "goodness", "evil", "sin", "love" .

<p>Baśnie ludowe stanowią istotny element kultury większości społeczeństw. Odwołują się do uniwersalnych ludzkich doświadczeń, w sposób metaforyczny ukazują przebieg i sens życia. Ze względu na prostotę fabuły, jednoznaczność zachowań bohaterów oraz wyraziście ukazane dobro i zło są one chętnie stosowane w oddziaływaniach wychowawczych i edukacyjnych, szczególnie w pracy dydaktycznej z dziećmi w wieku przedszkolnym i wczesnoszkolnym. W niniejszym artykule ukazano znaczenie baśni w wychowaniu i edukacji. Zaprezentowano także pewne zastrzeżenia formułowane wobec baśni, dotyczące m.in. archaiczności czy brutalności baśniowego przekazu.</p>

Projektni pristup bajci u vrtiću jedan primer upoznavanja evolucije lika princeze

In our work we show possible flow of using project approach in pre-school group acording to new pre-school programs. This approach is about flexibility and positive practice. We used three literary texts: The small pepper as tipical example of folk fairytale, The girl outsmarted the emperor as a short folk story with fairytale elements, and Princess in a paper bag as anti-fairytale with elements different than classic folk fairytale. The goal is to show evolution of princess character in traditional and modern fairytale through research that shows different elements of communication, as process of formation, understanding and overcoming stereotypes.

СПЕЦИФІКА ЗАЧИНУ НАРОДНОЇ СОЦІАЛЬНО-ПОБУТОВОЇ КАЗКИ

Для того, щоб виявити особливості національного світобачення, здійснити комплексний аналіз мовного втілення жанрової специфіки різнотипних народних казок, з’ясувати спільне й відмінне в мові цих творів усної народної словесності, треба приділяти належну увагу мовним особливостям казок різного типу. У статті ми звертаємо увагу на мовну специфіку зачину соціально-побутової казки. Фантастична складова, характерна для більшості казок, заступається в аналізованих творах побутовим, цілком реалістичним елементом, характерним для життя різних верств суспільства. Це певним чином позначається й на ініціальних формулах, що часто через типізацію констатують у казках соціально-побутового типу конкретні явища суспільного життя.

Circe and Rome. The Origin of the Legend

Circe is associated first of all with the episode narrated in the 10th book of the Odyssey, in which she turns Odysseus’s crewmen into pigs using her herbal pharmaka. Odysseus survives due to divine help, his inborn cleverness, and the miraculous herb moly. The fairy-tale theme of the spells of Circe, clearly showing its folk provenance, got entrenched in ancient literature: featured most often in poems of playful content, Circe symbolized the power to subjugate male souls and bodies. From the Hellenistic era to the Byzantine times, however, Circe is mentioned in scholarly works – in the context of the history of Roman Italy. The aim of the present article is, first of all, to analyse the Greek-language source texts and show the ways in which ancient authors managed to connect a character from a folk fairy tale – intrinsically different in form and not identifiable with any heroic myth – with the prehistory of Roman Italy, and even place her among the ancestors of Rome. The considerations also allow us to identify some of the mechanisms of the creation and functioning of the legend as a cultural phenomenon of the ancient world.

КОНЦЕПТ ПУТЬ-ДОРОГА КАК ЭКВИВАЛЕНТ КОНЦЕПТА ИСПЫТАНИЕ В КОНЦЕПТОСФЕРЕ НАРОДНОЙ ВОЛШЕБНОЙ СКАЗКИ

The article considers the concept ПУТЬ-ДОРОГА (WAY) as the key concept of a folk fairy tale that performs both plot-forming and educational functions. Way is the equivalent of test, which a hero must pass in order to find himself and achieve the desired goal (or correct the consequences of his disobedience). A compulsory element of way is reward (and punishment) that a hero receives for moral qualities manifestation. This and other integral characteristics of way make up the fantastic chronotope of a folk fairy tale.

Pedagogical Potential of the Folk Calendar in the Educational Process of Primary School

The article reveals the possibilities of improving the quality of education in the context of an interdisciplinary integrated approach to learning based on immersion in traditional culture and mastering a universal complex of folk calendar, which possesses a striking pedagogical potential in the formation of a holistic view of the world, the development of strategic and associative thinking, and instilling of environmental culture of the individual. The pedagogical potential of the folk calendar is an optimal complex that integrates into education various fields of knowledge, such as natural cycles and phenomena, geographical features of the area and the encompassing landscape, local historical collisions, customs and folklore, folk beliefs and fairy tales, and the specifics of folk ornaments decorating household items and tools of trade. The study of the folk calendar complex in primary or basic school makes it possible providing a holistic presentation of learning material scattered in different subjects. Integrating the content of subjects studying the world around us, such as mathematics, literary reading, the Russian language, visual arts, music, and technology will help the child to understand not only the diversity and richness of the world, but also the existing interconnections. At the same time, games, proverbs, sayings, bright and expressive folklore images, images of mythological characters will cause interest of the child, and thus help him to master new information on various subjects at the emotionally positive background.

영국 어린이환상문학 전통 - 영문학수업에 활용하기 위하여

This study intends to examine the tradition of English Children’s fantasy diachronically and suggest its usefulness for English literature classes. English Children’s fantasy begins with interests in folk fairy tales and fantasy, and changes in the perception of children and imagination in the nineteenth century. This allows the United Kingdom to mark the golden age of children’s literature in both the Victorian and Edwardian eras and publish great works until now. These works have been proved to be literary as much as existing English canonical works. English literature departments in Korea are no longer in a situation where English literature classes can be fossilized or isolated as a means of communicating knowledge, through traditional ways of teaching. English literature classes must be renewed by introducing more pragmatic approaches. Introducing English literary texts for children and young adults can be one way to appeal to students in order to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills.

«МЫСЛЬ СЕМЕЙНАЯ» В РАССКАЗАХ А. П. ГАЙДАРА «ЧУК И ГЕК» И «ГОЛУБАЯ ЧАШКА»

The article considers the realization of “family idea” in A. P. Gaidar’s stories, which are still the classics of children’s literature. The researcher identifies the role of each component of family whole - father, mother, child/children - in the arrangement of story line and analyzes the mutual influence of each of them. The paper examines the process of finding family happiness in the stories “Chuk and Gek” and “The Blue Cup” and traces folkloric tradition, which prevails in A. Gaidar’s story “The Blue Cup”. The researcher discovers the elements of a folk fairy tale creatively reinterpreted by A. Gaidar at the story-line and meaningful levels.

Metodički model obrade srpske narodne bajke "Pepeljuga"u četvrtom razredu osnovne škole

The teaching hours in which the fairy tale are interpreted have their own peculiarities. In the interpretation of each literary work, it is necessary to start from its individuality, analyze the text - and then make methodical guidelines. The folk fairy tale school class interpretations are modeled based on the analysis and methodical orientation. In the fourth grade of elementary school, fairy tale interpretation involves more theoretical and methodical elements. The aim of this paper is to present the methodical requirements and models for the interpretation of fairy tales in the fourth grade of the elementary school, as well as the proposal of a methodical model of the school class of the folk fairy tale "Cinderella".

ВИТОКИ НІМЕЦЬКИХ ФРАЗЕОЛОГІЧНИХ ОДИНИЦЬ, ЯКІ ВЕРБАЛІЗУЮТЬ КОНЦЕПТ FRAU

The following work represents the sources of origin of phraseological units which have verbalized the concept of FRAU in German linguistic culture. The study provides gender approach. It argues that the concept FRAU discloses national, cultural and gender attitude of the representatives of the German culture towards women.Phraseological units represent a means of figurative reflection of the world, they absorb historical and mythological events, religious and ethical views of a certain ethnos of different epochs and generations.It is important to note that new phraseological units occur even today. They emerge from different spheres of life and reflect recent events of reality.In the course of research and analysis of phraseological units that represent the FRAU concept, the most numerous groups of origin of these units were identified, namely they are related to moral principles and foundations of society; customs and traditions; beliefs, tales and legends; folk art, fairy tales and songs; literature; professional spheres; ancient myths; history; the Bible; plants and animals.Emotions, relationships, experience and attitude of a person to this or that phenomenon are also reflected in phraseological units. Position in a country, beliefs and traditions, social devices and dogmas play a leading role in the emergence and development of phraseological units with the studied concept.

Elementi stare srpske religije u narodnoj bajci "Pepeljuga"

National fairy tales and their particular motifs most often come from the distant past. In their sights, they preserved some of the ancient forms of the then convictions, social organization, institutions and rituals. The paper offers an interpretation of the folk fairy tale "Cinderella" which relies on the old, prehistoric religion, and from this point of view, the motives that were preserved in the fairy tale were analysed. Comparative analysis of the methodical apparatus in the readers of various publishers approved by the Ministry of Education will provide an insight into the extent to which such access to fairy tales is fostered through textbooks. The aim of the paper is to suggest a fairy tale interpretation that includes an old religion, pointing to the importance of knowing and understanding its phenomena in order to interpret the fairy tale adequately and to draw attention to the important material that the fairy tales preserved, which can serve to acquire and expand knowledge of one's own people.

Wasylisa Prekrasnaja i inni w rosyjskiej ludowej bajce magicznej

The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance of Russian folkliterature in the form of a fairytale and to show potential difficulties in translation. Folk literature cannot be seen only as a certain form of ordinary people’s artistic voice since it has been developing in parallel with the mainstream literature in Russia. Russian folk fairytale has a specific structure and form which does not exist in any other culture. Like in many other languages and cultures, there are certain names, descriptive adjectivesand other forms that are very challenging for translators. In this paper many examples are provided to support this hypothesis. It is almost impossible to translate certain Russian fairytales without “over-“ or “under-interpreting” the content, and the subject matter itself needs to be thoroughly elaborated.

GENRE AND LINGUOSTYLISTIC PECULIARITIES OF GERMAN AND UKRAINIAN FAIRY TALE

This article elucidates the concept of the folk fairy tale. Genre peculiarities and linguostylistic phenomena of German and Ukrainian folk fairy tales have been analyzed. It has been found that such artistic devices as antithesis, hyperbole, comparison are widely used in the folk fairy tale genre. Women's Voice and Images in Folk Tales and Fairy Tales

The role of women in folktale and fairytale has a pioneering consideration. It presents their effective voices and presence through being queen, princess, maid, stepmother, and witches. Topics like evil and good are discussed prolifically through different female images to legitimize the representation and value of women in many cultures. Scholars point out that the representation of women in folktale and fairytale has been based on certain basic images of passivity, beauty, wickedness, goodness, strength, and power. Heroines of such tales are popularized by their powerful figures as being cruel stepmothers or wise witches. These stereotypical female characters appear so effective in rescuing or changing destiny of other young women. To feminism, these tales refer explicitly to the important images of woman that seems to stress the significant role of her in societies. Moreover, feminist movement tackles the transformation of the female voice of these tales from marginalization to centralization. In one hand, feminist scholars rejected the indifference of societies when women are placed in subvaluable position, and on the other hand, they challenged the patriarchal authority to reevaluate the role of woman. Hence, the figure of queen, princess, maid, witch, stepmother, or godmother are representatives of women-centered tales that modify their minority and being object to majority and the subject of the action. This elite concept is focused by the researcher through taking into consideration the examples of wicked stepmother, godmother, innocent princess, and clever maid in some tales such as Cinderella, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Seven Swans, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland. Studying of Russian Folk Tales in the Context of Intercultural Dialogue at Schools with (Non-Russian) Language Learning

The relevance of this study is due to new approaches to of primary education system, other criteria knowledge and competences assessment of primary school students in literary reading. School practice and the introduction of national educational standards at primary school dictate the need of study of Russian folk tales in the context of the dialogue of cultures at schools with native (non-Russian) language of the Republic of Tatarstan. The purpose of this article is to research and develop science-based methods of l Russian and Tatar folk tales studying based on the dialogue of two cultures. A leading method of this problem study is a pedagogical experiment (ascertainment, formation and control stages) as well as the method of expert estimations, statistical processing of the quantitative results of the study. The main results of the research are the formation of new method of studying of Russian and Tatar folk tales at elementary school based on the dialogue of two cultures. The suggested methodical system of learning of Russian and Tatar folk fairy tales, household tales and tales about animals domestic, is effective, provides a deep knowledge of the younger students, the ability to analyze and compare Russian and Tatar folk tales on the subject, the ideological content of artistic features. The article can be useful for teachers of higher educational institutions and primary school teachers in the application of this technique to the study of Russian and Tatar folk tales in the context of dialogue of cultures.

Leadership Role Models in Fairy Tales - Using the Example of Folk Art and Fairy Tales, and Novels Especially in Cross-Cultural Comparison: German, Russian and Romanian Fairy Tales

In search of role models for leadership, this article deals with leadership figures in fairy tales. The focus is on leadership and female domination pictures. Just as the role of kings and princes, the role of their female hero is defined. There are strong and weak women, but by a special interest in the contribution is the development of the last of the first to power versus strength. Leadership means to deal with one's own person, 'self-rule, then, of rulers'. In fairy tales, we find different styles of leadership and management tools. As properties of the good boss is praised in particular the decision-making and less the organizational skills.

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS AND THEIR ATTRIBUTES (BASED ON RUSSIAN FOLK FAIRY TALES OF SIBERIA AND THE FAR EAST)

The article describes the features of interpersonal character of Russian folk fairy tales. The material of the study selected texts inscribed in the XX century in Siberia and the Far East. The article raises the problem of the existence of interpersonal character. There are four main features of interpersonal relations: the number and quality of participants, type of interaction between the characters, the subject of communication and interaction model. The author shows that interpersonal character, being a significant component of a fairy tale, reflect people's understanding of behaviors of men and women of different social status and age groups in different situations.
