Spiritualitas Kepedulian Sosial Berbasis Multikulturalisme di Kalangan Pemuda Gereja Bukit Zaitun Kota Makassar

This research aims to narrate and analyze the spirituality of social care carried out by the youth of GPIB Bukit Zaitun in Makassar City. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Data was collected through observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the church as a religious institution and educational institution has succeeded in guiding young people to return to the basic values of Christianity, namely having love and caring for others as part of their devotion to God. This success was marked by the presence of GPIB Bukit Zaitun youth to provide assistance to economically marginalized parties, both on institutional and personal behalf. Social care on behalf of the institution is realized by means of fundraising, distribution of consumption, creative education with orphans, and distribution of fast breaking packages. Meanwhile, social care on behalf of individuals is realized by giving a certain amount of money to the poor, for example old newspaper sellers, scavengers, and giving school supplies to orphans. The social awareness action carried out by the youth of GPIB Bukit Zaitun is multicultural, in the sense that it does not differentiate between the target recipients of aid in terms of their religion.

Development of Multimedia Teaching Content for Basketball in High School

Background and Aim: In the continuous development of information technology, the global education sector has been greatly impacted by the globalization of information, the application of modern information technology can be seen everywhere, which will profoundly change education. Modern information technology with network and multimedia technology as the core has been applied in physical education teaching in schools and universities. It is necessary to reform and upgrade the traditional education mode and develop multimedia teaching methods. Therefore, this research was to develop multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school, to promote the use of multimedia technology in physical education teaching. Materials and Methods: The survey included 516 students and 35 teachers from 10 high schools in Guangzhou, questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation of basketball teaching. Then, 7 teachers were interviewed to consult the problem solutions, and the indicator contents of multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school was constructed by literature review and content analysis. Through 19 Delphi experts’ consensus, multimedia teaching content for basketball in high school was established. Finally, 9 experts were invited to confirm the developed multimedia teaching content by the Connoisseurship method. In this research, mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation were used to analyze the data. Results: After two rounds of Delphi method investigation, statistics, and modification, there are 92 indicators suitable for using multimedia in high school basketball teaching content. The content of high school multimedia basketball teaching is designed and includes the origin and development of basketball, sports injuries, and prevention, basic movement of a basketball player, dribble technique, one-handed marching shot, basic movement of a basketball player, basic basketball rules, shoot technique, pass technique, defend technique, breakthrough technique, advanced dribbling, steal technique, zone cooperation, pick and roll and defense, attacking match, fast break and defense, one-on-one check, offensive zone defense. Conclusion: The multimedia teaching content for basketball high school in Guangzhou was effective and appropriate, and can be integrated into the teaching plan.

Differences in performance analysis between won and lost teams in the top handball matches in the seasons before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The study aimed to try to determine whether there are differences in performance analysis in handball matches won and lost, in Pre-COVID-19, COVID-19, and Post-COVID-19 seasons, taking into account the venue of the match. The material was the official statistics of 493 men's handball matches of PGNiG Superliga Ltd. For comparisons between independent variables, the Mann-Whitney U Test and the Kruskal-Wallis Test were used. A Chi-square Test was used to determine the distribution of the number of games won and lost. The analyses conducted indicate higher values in matches won than in matches lost (P=0.00) for the variables: numbers of goals scored, accurate throws, 6 meters goals, fast breaks, fast break goals, and throwing efficiency: all throws, 9 meters, 6 meters, and goalkeeper efficiency. In losing matches teams lost have a higher number of goals defeated (P=0.00) and executed a higher number of missed throws (P=0.00) than in winning matches Effect size of the differences is large. The results show a higher number of matches won in home matches than away in the Pre-COVID-19 season (P=0.0001). During the three seasons, the number of throws and goals from 9 meters decreases, while the number of goals from 6 meters increases. In sports training, measures should be taken to improve and increase the effectiveness of actions that affect winning the match. The results indicate the need to shape defensive actions that prevent goals from being scored in situations that differentiate the match's outcome.

The Effect of Dam Break Speed on Flood Evolution in a Downstream Reservoir of a Cascade Reservoir System

The dam break flood is one of the potential causes of catastrophic events in cascade hydropower hub groups. Investigating the movement patterns of dam break flooding among reservoir groups under different dam break speeds is crucial for flood prevention and emergency response. In this study, the evolution characteristics of dam break floods were investigated in a cascading reservoir system, focusing on different break speeds of the upstream dam. The results indicate that the dam break speed determines the concavity or convexity of the water level curve changes in the upstream reservoir. Accordingly, dam breaks are classified into three modes: instant dam break, fast dam break, and slow dam break. An approximate critical speed has been identified to differentiate between the fast dam break and slow dam break. Further investigation into the evolution patterns of dam break floods in downstream reservoirs under different break modes was conducted. Correspondingly, the flood peak discharge and peak arrival time of the dam break floods vary differently with break speed under different break modes. Finally, a theoretical analysis for the flood peak discharge at the dam site during gradual dam break at a certain speed was established, which is able to predict the over-dam flood peak discharge in fast and slow dam break modes. This study is based on a combination of laboratory flume experiments and three-dimensional numerical simulations. This study has theoretical significance for the reinforcement of public infrastructure safety and the prevention of natural disasters.

Predictors of goal difference and match outcome in Polish handball PGNiG Superleague in the season before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic - regression analysis

ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to determine which technical and tactical actions are predictors of the goal difference and the outcome of the handball match in the seasons before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The study material is official statistics of the Polish PGNiG Superleague in 493 matches. Multivariate and logistic regression analysis was used to demonstrate predictive factors. The predictors of goal difference are the number and effectiveness of throws from 6, 7, and 9 metres, the number of fouls, fast breaks, and goalkeeper effectiveness. The biggest contributors are the effectiveness of the goalkeeper’s defence, the number of throws from the 6th metre, and the effectiveness of throws from 6th and 9th metres. The constant predictors of winning in all seasons are the number of throws from the 6th metre, the efficiency of throws from the 6th and 9th metres, and the efficiency of goalkeepers saves. The strongest predictor of winning in the pre-and post-pandemic seasons is playing matches at home. In the pandemic season, no such relationship was shown. In sports training, offensive and defensive actions involving the demonstrated predictors should be improved to increase their level and decrease it in opponents.

Conceptualizing the Young Women Social Entrepreneurship Phenomenon in al-Madinah al-Munawarah

Social entrepreneurship has become a global trend, and in Saudi Arabia, it is gaining traction among public authorities, financial institutions, young people, and academics. Despite its growing popularity, scientific publications on the subject remain limited. This study aims to conceptualize the phenomenon of young women's social entrepreneurship in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, the cradle of Muslim civilization and Islamic charity. Based on the field experience of Basiqāt Waqf, which trained 128 young women from 2020-2022 in personal development and entrepreneurial excellence using the Personal Development Analysis (PDA) tool, the study finds existing models insufficient to capture the multidimensionality of this phenomenon. A key factor identified is the intrinsic pleasure young women derive from engaging in social entrepreneurship projects that sustainably improve the quality of life in the holy city. The challenge lies in identifying what these women love doing while being beneficial to others. Despite limitations, this study aids stakeholders in better coordinating efforts to promote social entrepreneurship among young women in Madinah beyond merely creating a competitive or attractive ecosystem. Data from 2023-2024 indicate that many of these trained women actively participate in the Basiqat project, particularly in organizing the breaking of the Ramadan fast at the Prophet's Mosque.

Performance differences and determinants of success in world men's handball championships

Abstract - Aim It is to compare performance indicators among World Men's Handball Championships, 2017, 2019 and 2021. Taking into consideration that the last one took place under pandemic restrictions, and thus affecting all stages of preparation and competition, we also investigated indicators that mostly affected the teams’ ranking. Methods: The sample consisted of sets of performance indicator variables specifically related to court player and goalkeeper efficacy, offense, defense, and punishment of all participant teams. We used the analysis of variance and the ordinary least square regression. Results: No significant differences in shots (p = 0.165, η2 = 0.046) and goals per game (p = 0.211, η2 = 0.040) were found in the last three successive world championships examined in our study. However, significant differences were found in court player efficacy at 6 m (p = 0.000, η2 = 0.226) and breakthrough (p = 0.047, η2 = 0.077) while for goalkeeper efficacy, differences were observed at 6 m (p = 0.000, η2 = 0.199), penalty (p = 0.049, η2 = 0.099) and fast break (p = 0.005, η2 = 0.132). From the set of variables related to offense, defense and punishment, significant differences were observed only for assists per game (p = 0.004, η2 = 0.134). Conclusion: The determinants of success of the top teams were the variables of court player efficacy and goalkeeper efficacy at 9 m followed by goalkeeper breakthrough efficacy, technical faults and 2-min suspensions per game.

Design and Application of Basketball Tactical Drill System Based on Motion Trajectory Analysis Algorithm

A basketball tactical drill system based on motion trajectory analysis algorithms employs advanced computational methods to enhance training effectiveness and strategy development. By utilizing these algorithms to analyze player movements and interactions during drills, coaches can gain valuable insights into team dynamics, spatial awareness, and decision-making processes. This analysis enables coaches to tailor drills to specific tactical objectives, such as improving defensive rotations, offensive spacing, or fast break execution. Additionally, the system can provide real-time feedback to players, helping them understand their positioning and movement patterns to refine their skills and decision-making abilities. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Basketball Tactical Drill System leveraging advanced object detection and motion trajectory analysis algorithms. The system aims to enhance basketball training by providing coaches and players with real-time insights into tactical drills and player performance. Two key algorithms, Mean-Shift and Difference Object Detection with Motion Trajectory (DOD-MT), are utilized to accurately identify and track basketballs, players, and other relevant objects during training sessions. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system, showcasing high detection accuracy, minimal false positives, and competitive processing times across various scenarios and tactical drills. The system leverages Mean-Shift and Difference Object Detection with Motion Trajectory (DOD-MT) algorithms to achieve exceptional detection accuracy, with an average of 93% across various scenarios and tactical drills. False positives are minimized, with an average of 12 per scenario. Processing times remain competitive, averaging 27 milliseconds per scenario. Integration of motion trajectory analysis provides coaches with invaluable real-time insights into player movements and interactions, facilitating data-driven coaching strategies. The system's versatility is demonstrated through successful application in a range of drills, resulting in performance improvements averaging 20%.

Statistical analysis of the Champions League winning team in the 2022-2023 competition season

The research analyses the performance of the CSM Bucharest women’s team during the current competition season across all four competitions in which the team participates. At the time of the paper’s elaboration, 38 games had been played, and the analysis of the games was conducted by reviewing recorded matches, scrutinizing the "match papers" completed by the team's assistant coach in real time during each game, and also using the statistics provided by the European Handball Federation and the Romanian Handball Federation. Offense performance: The team averaged 57 possessions per game, scoring an average of 31.5 goals with an overall shooting efficiency of 53%. Out of a total of 1224 goals scored, when analysing the goals scored by each player from the perspective of the position occupied in the field, left-back players accounted for the highest percentage at 28%. Left wing players and right back players scored 15% each, closely followed by the line players, with 14%. The middle back player scored 8% of all goals, the same percentage being registered also for the penalty shoots. Défense performance: The team achieved an average saving percentage of 34,5%. The average number of goals received per game was 26.2. Out of 996 received goals, the team received the most from the 6-meter line, 28%, followed by fast breaks (21%) and long-distance shots (20%).

Research on basketball game tactics based on multivariate statistical methods

Abstract This paper analyzes and studies the tactics in basketball games using the main branches of cluster analysis using multivariate statistical methods. A brief overview of multivariate statistical analysis is summarized by analyzing the application of multivariate statistical methods. The main method for classifying basketball tactics is cluster analysis, and nonlinear programming functions with constraints are constructed using mean square approximation theory. The classification results are reasonable when combined with the least square error sum. According to the results, man-to-man defensive tactics were most frequently used in basketball, with 72 instances accounting for 75.19% of all defensive strategies. The most frequent offensive tactic in the basketball game was dribbling with a fast break, and 15 times succeeded in scoring during 20 dribbling with a fast break in the first half, with a success rate of 75%.

Relationship between Offensive Modalities and Results in Elite Basketball Games

Basketball is characterized by a set of alternating offensive and defensive phases generally limited by the change in ball possession, also known as conversion. The aim of this research was to evaluate the difference in offensive types between the winning and losing, noting the variance in game result. A sample composed of 2607 entities representing basketball offense was collected by random selection of 15 Euroleague playoff games. The collected data were processed by the Match Analysis System, and the offense was classified into three basic types: set, transition, and early offense. With nearly equal opponents there is evident a high dynamic balance of transitions, set offenses, as well as other forms of offense, therefore the initial results showed no statistical difference in the distribution and success of offensive forms between opponents in balanced matches. There is significant change evident when focusing on the game periods with the highest point differential. In these periods the winning teams showed above 20% more fast breaks, which is proved to be the most effective type of offense, in addition to significantly better 2-point and 3-point shooting efficiency during set plays. Even though the losing team in balanced matches successfully controlled most of the game, and perhaps even outplayed the opponent, the identified critical intervals (“scoring runs”) proved to be a decisive factor in the final outcome of the game.

Analysis of the Offensive Tactics Used by High-Level Basketball Players of Different Age Groups

The rapid and continuous development of basketball has necessitated the long-term training of young basketball players, enabling them to meet the ever-changing demands of the sport. The aim of the present study was to record the offensive competitive behaviour of men and boys by analysing world championship matches in order to determine whether the choice of tactics in them depended on the age category they belonged to. The sample of the research consisted of 2,997 actions performed by basketball national teams in Men’s (seniors) and juniors’ World Championships. The juniors’ category includes athletes 14-15 years old (U16). Offenses were recorded with the Sportscout game observation software. The recorded parameters are the following: age group, types of initiating an offense, offensive tactics, type of offensive, attacking from the perimeter & from inside the paint, screening in offense, pick and roll in offense, offensive inbound plays, inbound position, attack efficiency, shooter, shooting area/ position. Summarizing, the juniors’ group showed a higher percentage in offenses fast breaks, in motion offense, in the attacks that were starting after a steal and an offensive rebound. In addition means’ group had higher percentage in inside game and in pick and roll. Αccording to the above the offensivetactics depended significantly on the age group. This confirms the tendency of coaches to use continuity offences in order to train young athletes in all competitive positions rather than in a single one. Their next step would be to adopt the defensive transition tactic, found to have been adopted by the men’s group.

Bidirectional Hybrid X Shape FCL in HVdc System With Multifunctional Feature

Bidirectional fault issue is common and serious in HVDC system and it cannot be handled by unidirectional fault current limiter (FCL). The novel contribution of this paper is that it proposes a hybrid X shape FCL (HXFCL) with bidirectional fault limiting, fast breaking and power flow adjusting capabilities. The HXFCL adopts the mutual inductance coupling effect of limiting magnetic modules and uses the full/semi control power electronic devices group. By working with the system fault protection signal and breaking part of the DC circuit breaker, the HXFCL can alter its device status and implement different functions with variable reactance. This article presents general topology of the HXFCL and gives analytical and optimization work of magnetic part. Meanwhile, electrical feature, control strategy, complete functions and detailed performance comparison of the proposed HXFCL were performed. Simulations and experiments verify that the proposed HXFCL can work under multiple occasions. The fault limiting performance can be significantly improved, while the breaking requirements and reacting time can be significantly reduced.

Physical Demands during Official Competitions in Elite Handball: A Systematic Review

An understanding of physical demands during official competitions is essential to achieving the highest performance in handball. The aim of this systematic review was to summarise the available scientific evidence associated with physical demands during official competitions in elite handball according to playing positions, competition level and gender. Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines, 17 studies were selected after a systematic search and selection process of three digital databases: PubMed, Web of Science and Sport Discus. The quality of the selected studies was evaluated using the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology checklist; the average score was 18.47 points. The sample consisted of 1175 handball players, of whom 1042 were men (88.68%) and 133 were women (11.32%). The results show that an elite handball player covered on average 3664.4 ± 1121.6 m during a match. The average running pace was 84.8 ± 17.2 m∙min-1. The total distance covered was largely greater in national competitions (4506.7 ± 647.9 m) compared with international competitions (2190.3 ± 1950.5 m) (effect size (ES) = 1.2); however, the running pace did not present any significant difference between the international or national level (ES = 0.06). In regard to gender, the total distance covered was moderately greater in female competitions (4549.1 ± 758.6 m) compared with male competitions (3332.6 ± 1257.7 m) (ES = 0.9), and the running pace was largely greater in female competitions (110.5 ± 7.2 m∙min-1) compared with male competitions (78.4 ± 19.7 m∙min-1) (ES = 1.6). In relation to playing position, backs and wings covered a moderately greater total distance (ES = 0.7 and 0.6) and slightly more meters per minute (ES = 0.4 and 0.2) than pivots. Moreover, the technical activity profile differed between playing positions. Backs performed moderately more throws than pivots and wings (ES = 1.2 and 0.9), pivots exhibited largely more body contact than backs and wings, and wings performed moderately more fast breaks (6.7 ± 3.0) than backs (2.2 ± 2.3) (ES = 1.8). Therefore, this research study provides practical applications for handball coaches and strength and conditioning professionals with respect to designing and implementing more individualised training programmes to maximise performance and reduce injury risk.

The analysis of the causes of sea level rise and fall under the ice was carried out using sea level time series obtained by measurements performed in the coastal zone of the southeastern coast of Sakhalin island in 2019–2021. The analysis of all the events of sea level rising and falling showed that they are not associated with tidal waves, the minima of sea level correspond to different phases of tide and the duration of the events is several times longer than the period of the daily tidal wave. Analysis of the causes of six detected events of sea level fall showed that they are the result of long-lasting winds of the western direction. The fast ice field breaks away from the shore due to these winds and at the place of formed polynya a small set-down appears under the influence of the same winds. Instruments recorded this sea set-down as a decrease of sea level. The analysis of the seven selected events associated with sea level rise showed their connection with a decrease of atmospheric pressure during the cyclones passage near the observation area. The comparison of sea level behaviour and regression coefficients for an ice-covered sea with similar ones for an ice-free sea showed that for an ice-free sea, the level rises are about twice longer in time and occur later than the atmospheric pressure minima. At the same time, the absolute values of the regression coefficient for an ice-free sea are on average almost four times less than for an ice-covered one. The assumption that atmospheric pressure fluctuations can saturate the continental shelf waves has been verified using the Buchwald and Adams shelf wave model. Shelf wave periods of 37.7 hours calculated from spectra confirmed the possibility of transmission to sea level rise, and the shelf waves themselves can be saturated by atmospheric pressure fluctuations from passing cyclones.

The Most Reliable (Authentic) At Al- Malikiyah Doctrine In Two Issues: Obligatory Time For The Payer Of Fitr And The Ruling On Eating Something From The Vermin Of The Ground A Comparative Jurisprudential Study

The true doctrine of Al-Malikiyah includes two sections: at the time of the obligation of fast breaking and the section of a ruling of eating from the vermin of the earth as a serpent whose venom is secured، which I dealt with in detail in this research. I presented the two issues in two sections، each section separately. I put the issue in a perspective and then present it in detail.. I present the first ruling including what was in the true doctrine of Al-Malikiyah، and then I present the explanation of the jurists who agreed with Al-Malikiyah in the true doctrine of Malikiyah and those who disagreed with them. Additionally I present the rest of the evidence of each doctrine and presented the face of the significance of what the Al-Malikyiah see from the inclusion of this or that evidence. The two issues dealt with seven schools of doctrine in addition to Al-Malikiyah، Hanafiya، Shafi'iyah، Al-Hanabala، Al-Dhahiriya ، Al-Zaidiya and then Al-Imamiyah and studied them as a comparative jurisprudential study. I try in this research to present the two issues in a detailed presentation of what is likely at the time of giving Zakat (Alms) of Al-Fitr، which is considered sufficient for the needy in the days of Eid and it is permissible to eat from what was forbidden when needed، forced or to be treated by.

Classifying ball trajectories in invasion sports using dynamic time warping: A basketball case study.

Comparison and classification of ball trajectories can provide insight to support coaches and players in analysing their plays or opposition plays. This is challenging due to the innate variability and uncertainty of ball trajectories in space and time. We propose a framework based on Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to cluster, compare and characterise trajectories in relation to play outcomes. Seventy-two international women's basketball games were analysed, where features such as ball trajectory, possession time and possession outcome were recorded. DTW was used to quantify the alignment-adjusted distance between three dimensional (two spatial, one temporal) trajectories. This distance, along with final location for the play (usually the shot), was then used to cluster trajectories. These clusters supported the conventional wisdom of higher scoring rates for fast breaks, but also identified other contextual factors affecting scoring rate, including bias towards one side of the court. In addition, some high scoring rate clusters were associated with greater mean change in the direction of ball movement, supporting the notion of entropy affecting effectiveness. Coaches and other end users could use such a framework to help make better use of their time by honing in on groups of effective or problematic plays for manual video analysis, for both their team and when scouting opponent teams and suggests new predictors for machine learning to analyse and predict trajectory-based sports.

Comparison of lifetime assessments between ASME and RCC-MRx in liquid metal nuclear research reactors surfing from thermal striping

• The comparison of thermal striping assessment results between RCC-MRx and ASME, within the common domain of the two codes. • The treatment of the main components liquid metal-cooled research reactor core that is undergoing severe conditions. • The main result illustrates that RCC-MRx gives more realistic values than ASME. The thermal striping phenomenon is a random temperature fluctuation that may cause thermal fatigue damage to components until the significant reduction of their lifetime or their fast break. It leads to creating some hazardous situations, which can cause the failure of mechanical systems. In the nuclear industry, components with a level of safety should be designed to prevent fatigue damage. In case of the occurrence of fatigue crack initiation on the component during service, it is required to analyse the causes and the consequences, most of the time, leading in the replacement of the component and modifying the causes (bad surface finish, residual stresses, etc.) to avoid future appearance damage. Indeed, in the case of liquid metal-cooled nuclear research reactors, the reactor core’ component integrity can be threatened and that should push engineers to be more meticulous in their job. Engineering industry standards and computation software provide engineers with efficient rules to study this phenomenon and find suitable solutions. Among them, RCC and ASME, which are widely used in the world. Globally, codes are similar but some differences exist in their approaches that lead to bringing additional technical difficulties for engineers. In this paper, the methodologies of surface stress calculation in pipes are compared between RCC-MRx and ASME III subsection NB. The goal is to estimate the gap and identify the main causes of differences in the risk assessment of thermal striping in research reactors cooled by liquid metal. Based on the lifetime computations from two code procedures, comparison between the main parameters is done. Results show an acceptable similarity between linear temperatures and tangible differences for second temperature and stresses. These results prove the existence of a gap between codes. It reveals that the risk assessment of thermal striping is approached more conservatively by the RCC-MRx than by ASME, in this studied case.

The impact of blended learning and digital communication on students' quick attack and refereeing skills in handball

The problem of the research lies in the process of learning to perform the stages of fast break and refereeing skills is one of the important topics in handball, especially for students of the college of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, third stage. It is one of the difficult tasks that students suffer from, as it includes planning exercises with group work in most of them, which requires deep cognitive and practical aspects so that the student can acceptably perform them. The aims of the research included identifying the effect of blended learning with digital communication on the fast break handball, as well as identifying the effect of blended learning using digital communication in the performance of students’ handball refereeing skills. As for the hypotheses of the research, it includes that blended learning with digital communication had a positive effect on the formations of the fast break handball. As well as a positive effect of blended learning with digital communication on the performance of the refereeing skills of handball for students. The researchers used the experimental research by designing two equal groups (experimental and control) with a pre and post-test. The research sample, it consists of a group of third-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - Babylon University for the academic year 2020-2021. The blended learning strategy was implemented on the members of the experimental group, which includes two parts; the first is the electronically via digital communication through the educational platforms (classroom) and the (meet) program, through which the theoretical material was delivered, and the second part is in the class, which included practical learning units in the court. After conducting the post-tests, the data was analyzed and a set of conclusions were reached, and these are the most important ones: Blended learning with digital communication has an effective effect on the development of the individual and grouping fast break in handball for students. As well, blended learning with digital connection has great effectiveness in developing the performance of refereeing skills in handball for students.
