Penerapan Pendidikan Akhlak Santriwati dalam Kitab Akhlak lil Banat: Studi Pondok Pesantren Salaf Al-Mardliyah Tambak Beras Jombang

Moral education is a very important thing to do, this is based on the phenomenon that occurs in the era of society 5.0 which is very fast in anything. Character education can be said to be successful if it can be applied and carried out in everyday life, this is the result of learning formed slowly through knowledge and then carried out. The character education that will be studied by the researcher is moral education resulting from teaching and examples of a book of morals lil banat which is one of the bases in learning carried out at the Al Mardliyyah Islamic boarding school. This study aims to examine the application of moral education of female students based on the Book of Akhlakul Lil Banat at the Al-Mardliyah Islamic Boarding School, Tambakberas, Jombang. The research method used is the analytical descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of moral education for female students at the Al-Mardliyah Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School is carried out systematically and in a planned manner through direct teaching from the Akhlakul Lil Banat book delivered by the kyai and ustadzah with various relevant learning methods. The implication of this study is the importance of developing a more integrated and contextual curriculum for female students' moral education in accordance with the development of the times.

We live in an age where everywhere we look, thousands of pieces of information are streaming towards us. This fact in itself highlights the importance of the linguistic landscape in our everyday lives, as everything that surrounds us, everything we perceive influences our thinking and therefore our use of language. In the 21st century, we need to pay particular attention to the virtual world, as a large percentage of the younger and even older generations receive a significant proportion of their stimuli through some types of electronic communication tools or social platforms. Schools have a particularly important role in language development and formation, as young people, the future generation, are most shaped within their walls. In the present study, we analysed a sample of posts published in the last few years on the social platforms (official website and Facebook) of the ecclesiastical schools of Transcarpathia. We relied on statistical and comparative analysis of the textual content of these entries. In addition, we examined the meta-linguistic information of the entries. The overall visual appearance of the website was also taken into consideration, i.e., the types of images published were also investigated. In the research, it was assumed that all the official webpages of the schools under investigation contain entries in both Ukrainian and Hungarian. We also assessed whether a higher percentage of entries in Hungarian appeared on the schools’ online interfaces. Results showed that the number of interactions by people who followed the sites was higher for Hungarian language posts, advertisements and articles. We assumed that religious posts and symbols regularly appeared on the websites and Facebook pages, and that a higher percentage of these posts and symbols appeared in Hungarian. It was also hypothesized that the volume of texts in Ukrainian was smaller than the amount of texts in Hungarian. The research has confirmed that both Ukrainian and Hungarian entries are found on the websites, with a higher share of entries in Hungarian. It also confirmed our hypothesis that followers of the websites tend to respond more frequently to posts in Hungarian, due to the fact that the majority of followers use Hungarian as their mother tongue. Last but not least, the research revealed that religious posts and symbols regularly appear on the official websites and Facebook pages of the lyceums, and the language of these posts is mostly Hungarian.

Prehistoric Italian foodways: Meta-analysis of stable isotope data from the Neolithic to the Iron Age

Italian Later Prehistory was characterised by profound changes that impacted everyday life in many aspects. Whether or not and how such changes were reflected in the subsistence practices of ancient populations is an ongoing question in the archaeological debate. This question has been investigated using stable carbon and nitrogen isotope analysis for several decades. Here, we present a 6000-year-long review of isotopic studies in the Italian Peninsula from the Neolithic to the Iron Age. We reconstruct chronological variations in food practices by observing δ13C and δ15N trends for 776 humans, 382 animals, and 432 C3 plants from 111 archaeological sites. During the Neolithic, when farming is first introduced, a homogenous signal characterised by terrestrial protein consumption is visible. The Copper Age, instead, shows a more varied pattern, possibly representative of a more diversified use of the landscape, characteristic of those millennia. The new cultural paradigm that invested Europe during the Bronze Age is also reflected in food practices in Italy, with the introduction of millets - signalled by high δ13C values in the Northern regions - possibly representing a pivotal shift. Not much data is available for the Iron Age, as only two sites from Northern Italy, showing a diffused consumption of C4 plants, and one site from Southern Italy, with a diet centred around C3 plants, are available for this period. The analysis of this extensive set of data suggests that the “Secondary Products Revolution” probably meant a shift in subsistence practices, with secondary sources substituting meat rather than integrating it.

Children and depression: A view of a pediatrician. A review

Mental disorder is characterized by clinically significant impairment of cognitive function, emotional regulation or human behavior. Rapid development of technical progress, introduction of digital technologies into everyday life with daily processing of a large flow of heterogeneous information have led to a significant increase in the load on the nervous system of children and adolescents. Psychological problems are based on intrafamily and intrapersonal conflicts, so a specialist needs to build interaction with the maximum number of interested family members. The article provides information on the competencies of a pediatrician in identification of risk factors and diagnosing depression in children.

A Child in the Art Space: A Study in the Perspective of Stanisław Wyspiański’s Work

The values of the relationship that takes place between a parent and a child can be analyzed on various levels: moral, biological, symbolic, social, legal or artistic. The aim of this study is an attempt to characterize the presence of a child as a subject in the European visual arts, with particular emphasis on the value of fatherhood in relation to the artistic work of one of the greatest Polish painters: Stanisław Wyspiański. Through the identification of values through semiological and iconographic axiology, it becomes possible to read an artistic work as a specific, philosophical record about the essence of understanding the analyzed value. In the case of Wyspiański, the artist’s child portraits will be analyzed, which can be treated as a kind of symbolic record not only of understanding but above all of experiencing the value of fatherhood. In the multidimensional process of raising a child, the father plays an extremely important role, influencing the formation and development of a young person’s personality. But it is not a one-way process, and the child also significantly shapes the parent as a father, friend and companion in everyday life.

Differential patterns of emotion regulation in sexual minority adolescents in residential treatment

ObjectiveSexual minority adolescents experience disproportionate mental health problems, including increased anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Minority Stress Theory posits that sexual minority people experience significantly more stress (e.g., via discrimination or prejudice) in their everyday lives, which can underlie these mental health disparities. Though group differences in mental health symptoms are well-documented, there has been less focus on symptom trajectories, which is critical for identifying effective mental health interventions. MethodSeventy adolescents ages 13–19 years enrolled in a short-term, acute residential psychiatric treatment program provided self-report measures of depressive symptoms, anxiety, and emotion regulation difficulties at baseline, discharge (~2 weeks), and one-month post-treatment follow-up. Adolescents self-reported sexual orientation and were stratified into sexual minority (SM, n = 37) or heterosexual (n = 33) groups. ResultsDepressive and anxiety symptoms and emotion dysregulation scores were significantly reduced at follow-up, compared to baseline. While there were no significant group x time interactions for depressive and anxiety symptoms, the SM group entered the program with worse emotion dysregulation scores, which improved more over time compared to the heterosexual group. ConclusionThese findings show that although sexual minority individuals can make substantial gains during residential treatment, emotion regulation difficulties are a particularly relevant treatment target. Emotion regulation, a transdiagnostic construct that typically develops substantially during adolescence, might be of critical importance when identifying effective treatment interventions for sexual minority youth. LimitationsAdolescents in this sample demonstrated limited racial diversity and likely displayed a higher degree of psychopathology than the general population.

Still Changing: Semantic Innovation and Change in Multicultural London English

We attempt to further our understanding of the beginnings of language change by analyzing a semantic innovation in Multicultural London English: the use of still as a discourse-pragmatic item in utterance-final position. We show that the change follows well-attested processes of semantic change, so it could have occurred at any time and amongst any group of speakers. Its emergence now, amongst young men in inner city London, can be explained by considering not only well-known external factors such as population change but also by analyzing the interactional contexts in which the new meaning emerges and by relating this to the local peer group culture. In this way we gain insights into how speakers can be motivated to use a form with a new meaning during interactional moves that are especially important for them in their everyday lives.

Ankle injury due to supination trauma: Potential factors worsening patient outcome

PurposeSupination trauma is a common sports injury, and often leads to chronic ankle instability. This study analyses whether indications of healing can be detected 2 weeks after supination trauma. MethodsThis prospective, monocentric study at a German Medical Center examined patients with acute supination trauma. Only patients with severity levels 2-3 were included in the study, and were advised to wear an orthosis for 5 weeks starting in the emergency room. The follow-up period was two weeks after trauma (follow-up examination 1/FE1: swelling of the ankle joint, tenderness over the lateral ligament complex and the syndesmosis, questionnaire). Nine months after injury (follow-up examination 2/FE2), these patients were interviewed by telephone using a questionnaire surveying current complaints in everyday life, sports, and work, as well as the general healing process. ResultsForty-one patients aged 35.1 years (±10.5) were included in the study. The presence of hematoma two weeks post-injury (n=6) correlated significantly with inability to work (p=0.02). Calcaneofibular ligament (CFL) tenderness was seen in 36 patients, posterior talofibular ligament (PTFL) tenderness in 29 patients, and syndesmosis tenderness in 9 patients. All patients who reported pressure pain at the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) at FE1 were significantly more likely to experience feelings of instability at FE2 (p=0.011). All patients who reported instability at FE1 had significantly greater problems climbing stairs at FE2 (p=0.003). All patients with hematoma and instability two weeks post-injury had a persistent feeling of instability at FE2. Patients with hematoma and pressure pain at the ATFL at FE1 had persistent pain through FE2. ConclusionsPersistent hematoma, pressure pain at the ATFL or feelings of instability two weeks after ankle sprain increase the likelihood of symptoms persisting for up to nine months post-injury. Physicians and patients should be well informed about the treatment guidelines and not underestimate this injury. In general, further studies are necessary to clarify why acute ankle sprains often lead to persistent complaints.

LINGUISTIC AND SOCIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS OF THE SPOKEN, WRITTEN, AND COMMUNICATIVE USE OF HUNGARIAN IN VOJVODINA

By reviewing the background factors behind the functionality of Hungarian language use in Vojvodina, the study points out the sociological and linguistic factors that determine language use in everyday life. Among the sociological factors, we considered the relationship between language and identity, language and education, language and social communication, as well as the use of economic and legal language, the media, cultural aspects, and the role of the church and national political organizations. Among the linguistic background factors, we discussed the influence of Serbian on Hungarian and the role of the Hungarian regional dialect in the functionality of the language, as well as its community function. As a conclusion of the study, we can say that Hungarians in Vojvodina use Hungarian depending on the given communication situation and the social and linguistic context, that is along the lines of functional and situational language use in the given communication situation.

Feasibility and acceptability findings from a pilot study of the adapted Ziba Ufa intervention for late life depression and chronic conditions in Tanzania.

ObjectiveTo conduct a pilot study of the adapted Ziba Ufa intervention for the treatment of late life depression, to assess feasibility and acceptability. DesignA pilot clinical trial, using a single group design over eight months, using qualitative and quantitative methods. SettingFour rural and urban outpatient health clinics in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. ParticipantsIndividuals aged 60 years and above, with chronic health conditions and mild-moderate depression symptoms, with no cognitive impairment or severe frailty. Intervention‘Ziba Ufa’ (‘Repair the Crack’) was adapted for Tanzania from the Depression in Late Life (DIL) intervention. It is a hybrid model of problem-solving therapy and healthy lifestyle advice. MeasurementsA locally validated depression screener (MOSHI-D) was used to screen for mild-moderate depression symptoms. Feasibility was assessed using recruitment and retention data, and acceptability was assessed using thematic analysis and the Theoretical Framework of Acceptability to analyse exit interviews with participants and counsellors at follow-up. ResultsA total of 157 older adults were screened, and thirty-two participants were enroled, with eight allocated to one counsellor per site. The enrolment rate of those clinically eligible at screening was 52%, with the majority unable to attend due to living too far away from the clinic. The retention rate was high at 97% (N=31). Qualitative feedback indicated the programme was acceptable because it helped older adults ‘open up’ and did not interfere with everyday life. ConclusionsZiba Ufa was feasible and acceptable in Tanzania when delivered in routine clinical settings, with travel reimbursed.

Meadows or asphalt road – Does momentary affective well-being vary with immediate physical environment? Results from a geographic ecological momentary assessment study in three metropolitan areas in Germany

We investigated the association between the immediate physical environment of individuals and individual fluctuations of momentary affective well-being in everyday life with a focus on medium sized metropolitan areas in Europe representing a typical living environment of a large proportion of the world’s population. The sample comprised 365 individuals (54.8 % female) with participants ranging from 14.08 to 88.27 years of age (M = 43.9, SD = 20.9). In an geographic ecological momentary assessment (GEMA), participants were prompted six times a day on at least 9 days over the course of 3 weeks, covering a total of six weekdays and three weekend days on mobile phones to report their momentary affective well-being. Urban land use categories (forest, water, urban green) were assessed with GPS-localization as environmental variables. Additionally, sunshine, rainfall, whether participants were inside or outside as well as whether they were alone or had company were included into the analyses.We used dynamic structural equation modelling to model the inter- and intraindividual differences as well as fluctuations and assess potential covariates while acknowledging the autoregressive nature of affect.The results showed that on individual level, fluctuations of momentary affective well-being were associated with sunshine, having company and travelling. No significant association emerged for urban green, forest, and water neither within individuals nor between. Methodological as well as conceptual implications are discussed and an interpretation of the present findings are provided.

Being ‘a good mother’ in Türkiye: negotiating expert advice and intensive motherhood

This study explores middle-SES Turkish women’s perceptions of being a good mother within a context-specific version of intensive motherhood and the intercessions of expert advice with their motherly subjectivities through a phenomenological approach. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with three groups of 12 mothers each with children aged 0–6, 7–12 and 13–18, a total of 36 women living in Istanbul. According to findings, middle-SES Turkish mothers, in line with expert advice, shift their prioritisation of the child’s secure attachment to supporting the child’s future chances through education as they grow older. Mothers’ agency out of these concerns is a culturally positioned resource that enables social mobility. However, with the experience of mothering, these concerns are negotiated in everyday life and mothering practices are reflexively (re)constructed in a logic in which the subjective wellbeing of the mother and the child are sought to be brought together. This study argues that these negotiations are tied to increasing experience in mothering and the availability of conflicting expert advice.

Abstract. Probability theory is a key field of mathematics that focus on developing theoretical models and mathematical frameworks to describe and analyze random events or processes. As a part of basic science, probability theory holds a central place in pure mathematics while also serving a crucial function across various domains, including natural science, social science and engineering technology. This paper summarizes the main concepts, basic theories and commercial applications of probability theory. Probability theory encompasses ideas such as random experiment, sample space, event, probability, conditional probability, independence, Bayes Theorem, random variable, probability distribution, expected value and variance, law of large numbers and central limit theorem. This paper provides an overview of key concepts and theorems from probability theory, along with their practical applications in everyday life, in order to make people deeply recognize the broad and profound contents and research fields of probability theory and its wide application in various fields as an academic tool, which has a great relation with people.

Self-Management and Relationships: Perspectives of Young Adults With Chronic Conditions and Their Peers.

Because their disease is largely managed in the private environment, people with chronic conditions perform "chronic homework." The environment with which self-management is coordinated forms a kind of "chronic care infrastructure" in dealing with the disease and, in the case of young adults with chronic conditions (YACCs), is essentially formed by peers. The article investigates how YACCs handle their illness in the context of their peer relationships and how peers see their own role in the context of the YACCs' self-management. What do chronic homework and chronic care infrastructures look like, if the chronic conditions concern young adults in comparatively unstable and non-committal relationships with their peers? Episodic interviews were conducted with 60 YACCs (with type 1 diabetes, cancer, chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and rare conditions) and 30 peers. The interviews were analyzed using thematic coding. The YACCs' statements were compared to the peer perspectives on a case-by-case basis. We found that peers differ in the extent to which they seek to monitor or control the YACCs' self-management. We identified three groups of YACCs: (a) those who focus on their health needs; (b) those who seek to balance their disease management with their need for sociability and belonging; and (c) those who deprioritize their illness in their everyday life in favor of peer acceptance. The multi-perspective approach to YACCs' and their peers' experiences with self-management on the one hand and referring to a range of chronic conditions on the other allows to analyze this issue in a complex and comprehensive way.

Introduction: Social theorists and the First World War

This Special Issue examines the ways in which emerging or established social theorists from Continental Europe and the United States were personally and politically involved in and affected by the First the First World War (WWI), and considers how the war shaped their sociological theories. WWI was a pivotal moment that transformed global and historical systems in ways that challenged conventional social scientific assumptions about the supposed shift from “traditional” to “modern” societies and compelled sociologists to reconsider the impact of industry and military affairs on everyday life. The period from 1914 to 1918 has typically been ignored or bracketed by later scholars as a largely inconsequential gap in an otherwise uninterrupted flow of intellectual production. By considering not only individual theorists and their social networks but also the transformation of the discipline as a whole, the contributors to this Special Issue offer a systematic assessment of the relevance of this formative period in the development of sociological theory and of the impact of war in shaping the modern world. The Editors’ Introduction highlights how the scale and intensity of the total war that engaged the countries of Europe and North America in 1914 came as a shock to most intellectuals, even though nationalistic wars had become familiar to them from the precious century. The central role of nation-states in carrying out what was at the time was called the European War, and later came to be known as the First World War, made it impossible for social scientists and other intellectuals in the belligerent countries to remain neutral. Even those who were not directly active in or publicly vocal about the war felt compelled to take a stand, and many reached their highest level of public visibility and political influence during the WWI era, often beyond the reputation they achieved before or after. The complex problems emerging within the nation-state system that the war had exposed renewed their sense of professional duty and patriotic loyalty while focussing their attention on questions concerning the geopolitics of international warfare and peace; the role of the modern state and its bureaucratic institutions; the nature of civil society and ethnic communities; the forces of political economy and cultural mobilization; and the emancipatory potential of colonial capitalism and racialized imperialism.

THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF INTEGRATED CLASSES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY CLASSES AND THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNICATION

This article is currently talking a lot about the integration of Primary School Education. This concept is characterized by the perception of the universe around a small schoolboy as a whole, for him not by the name of Natural Science, Russian language, mathematics, reading literacy and other educational sciences, but by the curiosity of the variety of sounds, colors, volumes of objects of the surrounding universe. The teacher feels and knows that students need to be taught to see the connection of nature and everything in everyday life. In the process of passing the subject of tenology, the teacher provides education, upbringing, forms some characteristic of students. It is in the process of fulfilling those goals in practice that several disciplines are addressed.Therefore, questions such as whether educational integration meets the current demand, how to organize it, are gaining relevance.

This personalia is devoted to an episode of the turbulent life and work of Professor Volodymyr Favr, a prominent Kharkiv scientist, hygienist, and malaria specialist, whose 150th anniversary is being marked this year. It’s an entirely routine episode. It is about the activities of V. Favr, a privatdozent at that time, as a lecturer on factory hygiene at the Kharkiv Institute of Technology in 1906-1908. Certain archival documents previously neglected by historians are being brought into scientific circulation. This study applies methodological tools of biographical studies, local history, social history of medicine, and history of everyday life. It examines the election of V. Favr to the post of lecturer at the Kharkiv Institute of Technology, his further academic career, and organizational activities to create a factory hygiene classroom. It is pointed out that even the everyday scenes of the outstanding personalities’ lives should be the subject of historical and biographical studies, as they contribute to a better understanding of the path of these people to their victories.

Baltic German humour and anecdotes about clergymen Keywords: anecdotes, Baltic Germans, humour Baltic German anecdotes (Pratchen) are a relatively unexplored part of Estonian folk humour, much like Baltic German culture within Estonian culture as a whole. This study focuses on anecdotes about Lutheran clergymen, which offer material for comparison with the more thoroughly researched Estonian counterparts. These humorous tales provide valuable insights into the cultural history, mentality, language as well as everyday life of the Baltic German community. Older Estonian anecdotes about clergymen often emphasize the social and ethnic differences between Estonian peasants and the clergy. In contrast, Baltic German anecdotes provide an internal perspective, exploring the role of the clergy within the Baltic German community and their outreach beyond it. The anecdotes can offer explanations for certain aspects that remain obscure and are therefore ridiculed in Estonian anecdotes. Two key features of Baltic German humour are its oral nature and the tradition of competing in witticisms (pliggern), a “national sport” possibly rooted in student culture. Initially shared orally, these anecdotes often referenced known people and places. They were later written down to preserve the memory and cultural history of the community. Older anecdotes published between the world wars, became classics that kept appearing in various forms in later collections. World War II added a final layer, with humour providing a way to encapsulate and process epochal events. In Baltic German anecdotes, clergymen are depicted in everyday activities and relationships, often taking on the role of the trickster parson. Unlike in Estonian jokes, the dynamic between the nobility and the church features prominently. This often takes the form of a humorous tug of war between the clergyman and the noble patron of the church, who may have attended school together in the past. The parson’s attitude towards parishioners is usually benevolent but patronizing, with the parish clerk, sexton, and coachman often playing supporting roles. Another central theme is the clergyman as a political figurehead, reflecting the tensions caused by the official campaigns of Russification and conversion to Russian Orthodoxy.

Comparative studies "Effect of educational policy on artificial intelligence in the countries of America, Singapore and Iran

Artificial intelligence under the paradigm of the fourth industrial revolution has become one of the fateful trends of societies in such a way that university education methods, as one of the most important social constructions, have influenced the advancement of technology. Undoubtedly, educational policy has changed the speed, depth and extent of artificial intelligence technology Artificial intelligence is one of the most important emerging technologies, which today has caused huge changes in all areas, including educational policymaking, at a high speed. Among the important applications of artificial intelligence in educational policymaking, we can mention the prioritization of issues based on the real needs and demands of the society and the diagnosis of problems based on the existing conditions, which will lead to the design and formulation of macro-educational policies. The use of methods such as neural networks, natural language processing, and machine learning algorithms makes the process of policy making more intelligent and dynamic, and as a result, the role of policymakers in the application of this technology becomes more efficient. Today, new technologies such as artificial intelligence, sensor networks, blockchain are changing aspects of everyday life. The study of artificial intelligence began in the 1940s and in recent years it has overshadowed the government departments of a large number of countries, of which e-government is one of the examples. One of the topics that is analyzed in the discussion of educational policy is the effect of content on artificial intelligence. In other words, understanding the complexities of decision-making processes as well as the importance of the actors involved in such processes, has undoubtedly influenced artificial intelligence and is influenced by it. This article is designed as a review and library method and it examines the educational policies of Iran, America and Singapore in the field of artificial intelligence with an exploratory view.

‘Yanhuo Chi’: An everyday aesthetic tourism experience

‘Yanhuo Chi’ (烟火气), rooted in Chinese culture, symbolizes the aesthetically rich atmosphere of everyday life. This study conceptualizes Yanhuo Chi as a unique everyday tourism experience, expanding the boundaries of the ‘everyday’ in Everyday Aesthetics to include non-routine settings like tourism. By integrating Eastern Living Aesthetics with Western Everyday Aesthetics, it enriches the discourse and challenges Western ideological frameworks in tourism aesthetics studies. The research also broadens borderline aesthetic experiences by identifying diverse aesthetic tensions within tourists' Yanhuo Chi experiences. This phenomenological exploration reveals how Yanhuo Chi offers a nuanced understanding of aesthetic experiences in tourism, contributing to a more inclusive and culturally diverse appreciation of everyday aesthetics.
