Anatomy-guided Injection Techniques for Nasal Augmentation in Asians: Practical Guidelines and Safety Considerations.

Nasal augmentation using dermal fillers has become a popular nonsurgical esthetic procedure, particularly among Asian populations. This review explores the anatomical considerations, injection techniques, and safety measures essential for successful outcomes. The complex nasal anatomy, comprising 5 distinct soft tissue layers and intricate vascular networks, necessitates a thorough understanding to minimize risks of complications such as skin necrosis and visual impairment. The authors discuss the ideal nasal proportions and angles, emphasizing the importance of tailoring treatments to individual ethnic characteristics. The article outlines both needle-based and cannula-based injection techniques for the nasal dorsum, tip, and columella, highlighting the advantages and precautions for each approach. The dual-plane remodeling technique, utilizing firm and soft fillers, is presented as an advanced method for comprehensive nasal reshaping. Special attention is given to the columella injection technique, which addresses both esthetic and functional aspects of nasal tip projection. The discussion emphasizes the importance of choosing appropriate fillers, understanding vascular anatomy, and employing safe injection practices. As the field of non-surgical rhinoplasty evolves, continued refinement of techniques and ongoing research are crucial for enhancing safety and expanding the range of achievable outcomes in nasal augmentation with dermal fillers.

PAVING BLOK K-200 UNTUK AREA PARKIR MOBIL RECYCLE LIMBAH PAVING LAMA

Students use private vehicles with the aim of making it easier to mobilize from their residence to the University Campus environment. This influences the intensity of motorists in the university area to be high, so quality road infrastructure is needed so that students can drive comfortably and safely. One way to develop quality road infrastructure is by installing paving blocks. Generally, apart from installation on university roads, paving blocks are installed on sidewalks, pedestrians, parking areas, even in hotel and factory areas. Apart from roads, parking areas also need to be planned using paving. The ease of installation and costs required are considered cheaper and meet the aesthetic aspect because they have various shapes, making the use of paving blocks increasingly popular. The use of paving blocks as road pavement and parking areas is also needed in the Tunas Pembangunan Surakarata University environment. The conventional method of making paving blocks is done using a block tool with a compaction load that affects the energy of the person doing the work. The materials used in making paving blocks are Portland Cement, sand (old/paving waste), and water. In this research, 6 samples were made, with a ratio of 1:3. After 14 days, a press test of the paving was carried out and it was discovered that the new paving (recycled) had a strength of more than K-200 , so it could be used for roads and parking in the UTP Surakarta campus area.. Analysis of the representation of female athletes in sports media: a systematic literature review

Introduction: The focus of coverage on female athletes is starting to shift, with more recognition of the achievements and dedication to Sports. Despite improvements in representation, there is still a gap in public recognition of female athletes compared to males, specifically in sports awards or promotional platforms. Objective: This study aimed to explore the representation of female athletes in sports media with a focus on achievement emphasis, gender stereotypes, and coverage orientation. Methodology: Systematic literature review (SLR) was used to investigate the form in which female athletes were represented in the media during different periods. Results: The results showed inequality between female and male athletes, as females were often offered less recognition and attention commensurate with the achievements. Additionally, gender stereotypes influenced the representation of female athletes in sports coverage due to more concentration on the physical or aesthetic aspects than achievements in sports. During the review, significant changes in the approach of media to female athletes were detected over time. Conclusions: Changes in the representation of female athletes in sports media are essential to creating a more equitable and inclusive narrative of the achievements. The results signified a need for changes in the media coverage of female sports, emphasizing the achievements and dedication as well as minimizing existing gender stereotypes.

Military Farewells: The Legacies of the Soviet-Era Dembel’ Album

This article explores the cultural and historical significance of Soviet dembel’ (demobilization) albums, which were created by soldiers in their final months of compulsory military service. These albums, emerging in the late Soviet period, served both as personal memorabilia and as a collective narrative of military identity. The authors examine the unique DIY aesthetic of these albums, which often featured a blend of photographs, hand-drawn images, and symbolic decorations. We argue that these visual artefacts manifest their makers’ loyalty to the official military ideology, and at the same time, acknowledge and normalize the otherwise invisible harsh realities of service, including subjugation and violence. Analysing the distinctive aesthetic and material aspects of these hand-made multimedia objects, as well as their increasingly digital afterlives, we demonstrate that Soviet dembel’ albums remain powerfully affective embodiments of shared experiences, transmitting the fusion of Soviet popular culture and its ideological cliches to the next generations.

Barong Bulu Goak Dalam Kajian Teo Estetika Hindu

Barong Bulu Goak is a unique manifestation of culture and spirituality in Hindu society in Bali. Known for its rare and sacred presence, the Barong Bulu Goak attracts attention because it uses crow feather decoration, which is rarely used in other types of barong. This research aims to explore the theological and aesthetic depth surrounding Barong Bulu Goak in the context of Balinese culture. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the symbolic role, ritual and theological meaning of Barong Bulu Goak in Balinese society. The main focus of this research is to explore the Theo-Aesthetic aspects surrounding Barong Bulu Goak, relate it to Hindu theological concepts, and explore how the use of crow feathers as an aesthetic element influences aesthetic perception and experience. In the context of theo-aesthetics, this research explains how Hindu theological concepts related to Brahman and its manifestations in everyday life are combined with aesthetic experiences through performing arts. The results of the research present that Barong Bulu Goak shows a tendency in its appearance and rituals to exude beauty or Ramya Tattwa and also the Suwung Tattwa phase which reflects aspects of Balinese artistic aesthetics. The concept of ramya refers to the integrated beauty of make-up, movement, and rituals that attract attention and radiate feelings of joy and satisfaction in religious ceremonies. Suwung presents quiet moments that provide opportunities for spiritual reflection and deep appreciation of the presence of Barong Bulu Goak in the ritual until the peak of the experience is known as saktibhava, marking the moment where the ceremony participants feel connected spiritually which indicates the existence of Barong Bulu Goak is a creative expression which shows how spiritual and aesthetic life in the Hindu context can combine in a deep experience, giving rise to the power of spirituality in the perception of beauty.

중·일 영롱자 장식기법의 발전 양상 비교연구 - 소영롱 이외의 작품을 중심으로

This study aims to explore the direction of continuous expansion of modern ceramic decoration creation based on the origin of Linglong porcelain works and the development status of decorative techniques, and pays particular attention to the succession and innovation of traditional and modern decorative techniques of Linglong porcelain in China and Japan. To this end, Linglong porcelain works by Chinese yinglong porcelain brands and Japanese yinglong porcelain artists were selected and case studies were conducted, and Linglong porcelain decorative techniques were divided into three categories: ‘painting technique, colored yinglong porcelain technique, and transfer technique’ and examined. Chinese and Japanese ceramic creations have had differences in aesthetic aspects since the beginning of design, and although they are the same Linglong porcelain development and creation, the effects of expression, techniques, and crafts are all different. Chinese Linglong porcelain works developed within the history of Chinese porcelain, and Chinese Linglong porcelain works in general still maintain the traditional concept and historical awareness of Chinese porcelain, and also have innovative concepts. Japanese Linglong porcelain works developed relatively late, but they have modern characteristics. This study explores the succession and innovation of traditional and modern decorative techniques of Linglong porcelain from China and Japan, and aims to contribute to the future design and creation of Linglong porcelain and the development of Linglong porcelain decorative techniques.

This article describes in detail the history of the study of Sosnowski's hogweed (Heraculum sosnowskyi) as a species, which is a historical research method. The reasons for its use in agriculture are determined, and an assumption is made about the reasons for its acquisition of elements of invasiveness. A detailed analysis of the methods of combating Heraculum sosnowskyi has been carried out, an environmental assessment of various approaches has been given, which is a comparative research method. The analysis of the use of Heraculum sosnowsky in various fields from medicine to the cultural and aesthetic aspect is carried out. The result of the experiment should be a large array of data that will allow for statistical reliability to analyze the dynamics of soil changes, the number of Heraculum sosnowskyi, to make an economic analysis of various control measures and environmental damage, which will be a numerical and statistical research method. Aesthetic Aspects of the Holy Quran: An Analytical Study of Prominent Features

"The sky over Kharkiv": on the political and imagological functions of translation

The aim of the research is to highlight two specific functions of translation, namely political and imagological, based on Ukrainian-German translation over the past three years. The study is relevant because of the need to demonstrate the importance of translation in the political arena, primarily in creating an image of Ukraine, its literature and culture abroad. The object of the study is the impact of translation on the formation of public opinion in Germany about Ukraine and its literature, and the subject of the study is the verbalisation of the imagological function of translation in all its manifestations. The research is based on the book by Serhiy Zhadan “Himmel über Charkiw. Nachrichten vom Überleben im Krieg” (2022) published in Germany, reviews of the book, and public discussions about the author and Ukrainian literature in the German-language press and social media. The main results of the study: the book is characterised as a translation without the original text; the role of translation field agents in preparing the publication and ensuring its reception in the German-speaking literary scene is described; the reviews and the feedback on the publication as well as the frequency of lexemes in them are analysed and the results are visualised in a word cloud; translation approaches are described. Conclusions: The book “Himmel über Charkiw” is a creative intermedial translation product that holds a key role in the socio-political and literary space of Germany thanks to the cooperation of translation field agents with solid linguistic, educational and symbolic capital and the active position of intercultural mediators and promoters of Ukraine: the author, the translators, the publishers and the experts. The book fulfilled an important political and imagological function, offering a multi-vector positive image of Ukrainian society defending its independence and cultural achievements, and appealing to the German-speaking audience to support Ukraine. The discussions around the book increased its media presence and focused on a number of political, aesthetic, cultural and emotional aspects that sensitised the reader to the perception of Ukraine. LINGUISTIC MEANS OF REPRESENTING GENDER STEREOTYPES IN WRISTWATCH ADVERTISING

The article analyzes the linguistic features of commercial advertising texts for wristwatches, with a focus on the representation of gender. Two approaches in advertising are examined: the active use of gender stereotypes and the neutralization of gender factors. Gender stereotypes in advertising texts are conveyed through specific linguistic means. Advertising for watches aimed at a male audience is characterized by texts that emphasize the product’s functional features, precision, and reliability, where terms and concrete vocabulary prevail. In contrast, advertising targeting a female audience focuses on emotional, aesthetic, and elegant aspects, often using epithets, metaphors, and diminutive suffixes. The study covers an analysis of about 100 advertising texts, demonstrating how the choice of linguistic means depends on the target audience. The neutralization of gender factors, characteristic of unisex product advertising, is reflected in the use of more neutral language. The practical part of the work includes tasks for analyzing and creating advertising texts, contributing to the development of critical thinking skills and the perception of advertising discourse. The practical tasks can assist students of the Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE), as well as copywriters, in studying advertising discourse and developing skills for creating texts that take into account both gendered and gender-neutral aspects.

The Relationship Between the Perception of Fixed Orthodontic Appliance Usage and Interest in Malocclusion Treatment Among Students

Orthodontic care needs are increasing and also vary; in addition to the demand need for maintenance, there are socioeconomic factors and the availability of maintenance services. Perceptions regarding the use of simplified orthodontic devices from aesthetic aspects are generally the primary motivation of patients to carry out malocclusion treatment. In orthodontic treatment, perception can be seen from the aesthetic and functional aspects. Orthodontic comes from the word ortho, which in Greek means normal, straight, or correct, while dontos means teeth. Background Orthodontic care is the need to improve the health of the oral cavity, oral cavity function, and personal appearance. The success of orthodontic care not only depends on the ability and technique used but is influenced by the interest and motivation factors of the patient himself/herself. Most individuals who carry out orthodontic care are usually driven by personal care related to appearance and aesthetics. Most malocclusion has an effect on a person's self-image. Therefore, orthodontic treatments must be able to improve the individual aesthetic. The research objective is to find out the correlation between the perception of the use of simplified orthodontic devices and the interest in Malocclusion Care for FKG students of the Universitas Muslim Indonesia. This research was descriptive quantitative research using cross-sectional data. The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test. The sample in this study consisted of 121 samples. Data analysis was tested using a chi-square test with a degree of meaning α = 0.05. The statistical analysis results show that the value of P 0.419 then HA is unaccepted, which means there is no correlation between the perception of the use of Orthodontic device and interest in the treatment of malocclusion. There is no correlation between the perception of using the Orthodontic Device and Malocclusion Care in FKG students of the Universitas Muslim Indonesia.

ASPECTOS FUNCIONAIS E ESTÉTICOS DE ESPAÇOS FÍSICOS: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

The physical environment plays a relevant role in human perception, directly influencing the interaction of individuals and their well-being. This study investigates the influence of functional elements present in physical spaces, considering their aesthetic and functional aspects. To this end, within the methodological scope, specific bibliographical research on the topic was carried out, using scientific databases. This survey allowed the identification and selection of relevant articles for analysis. The analysis of the results showed that the physical environment provides benefits associated with the natural aspects of human perception. Thus, the studies analyzed allowed an in-depth understanding of the topic, highlighting specificities and identifying potential paths for future interventions in the field of design.

Makna Konotasi dalam Lagu “Kita Bikin Romantis” Karya MALIQ & D’Essentials

This study focuses on the analysis of the connotative meaning contained in the lyrics of the song Kita Bikin Romantis by MALIQ & D’Essentials. Literary works, produced through language, not only reflect the life and culture of society, but also play a role in shaping and developing the culture itself. Literature as an art and science has aesthetic and analytical aspects related to the expression of emotions and ideas, including in the arts of music, drama, dance, and painting. The song Kita Bikin Romantis as a work of art uses language to convey emotional and symbolic messages, which focus on romantic actions in everyday life. This study aims to reveal how this song connects music, language, and socio-cultural contexts in creating a richer understanding of the message conveyed to the listener. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the connotative meaning that not only shows romance through big actions, but also through small, meaningful attentions, such as serving hot tea or asking about a partner. The researcher analyzed the connotative meaning in each lyric. This study resulted in a study of the connotative meaning of a song. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the study of music semiotics and inspire listeners to better understand the interpretation of song lyrics in a broader cultural and emotional context.

COFFEEHOUSE PAINTING: ART, FAITH, AND SOCIETY

Coffeehouse (Qahveh-Khaneh) painting, a vibrant Iranian folk art form flourishing during the Qajar era (18th-20th centuries), has been primarily studied through its aesthetic or sociological aspects. This research uniquely investigates its multimedia nature, revealing a dynamic interplay with the oral storytelling tradition of Naqqali and the theatrical performances of Ta'zieh. To analyze the historical development, artistic characteristics, social functions, and cultural impact of Coffeehouse painting within the Iranian context, highlighting its multimedia character and its relationship with Naqqali and Ta'zieh. A qualitative thematic analysis of existing scholarly literature, predominantly in Persian, was conducted. Sources were reviewed, translated, and analyzed to identify recurring themes and patterns. Coffeehouse paintings served as a powerful medium for disseminating religious beliefs, shaping national identity, and bolstering morale during a period of colonial influence. The art form's visual conventions and narrative strategies were deeply intertwined with Naqqali and Ta'zieh traditions. This study reveals Coffeehousepain ting as a significant force in shaping Iranian cultural identity and underscores the importance of studying multimedia art forms within their specific socio-historical contexts.

To maintain market leadership, companies must continually develop new products that align with consumers' needs and preferences. The objective of this study is to assess a novel product design and identify its sensory attributes that significantly influence consumer choice. Amidst a competitive and evolving market landscape, the manufacturing department faces the challenge of effectively meeting consumer demands and preferences. This study proposes a multi-sensory design approach that integrates various scientific and technological disciplines to create products that are “intelligent”, “reliable”, and “ecological”. Central to this approach is placing the end-users at the forefront of design thinking, ensuring their needs, expectations, and characteristics are considered at every stage of the innovation process. Addressing this overarching challenge necessitates a comprehensive examination of the emotional, sensory, ergonomic, sociocultural, functional, technical, ethical, and aesthetic aspects encountered by individuals across diverse life situations. By the unic design proposed, at the heart of this endeavor lies a newly proposed product, offering the opportunity to compare the newly developed product design with its predecessor.

Innervated Bilobed Radial Forearm Free Flap For Tongue Reconstruction

Hemiglossectomy defects need reconstructions to restore normal functions and aesthetic outcomes. It is therefore prudent that well-planned reconstructive technique is needed for a good functional substitution for the defect.This case report describes a 30 years old male who developed T2N1M0 squamous cell carcinoma of the left tongue. The patient underwent a tongue reconstruction following his hemiglossectomy involving floor of the mouth without mandibular resection.The optimum method of reconstructing a major defect such as hemiglossectomy with floor of the mouth resection is best carried out by using microvascular free tissue transfer. We conclude that the radial forearm free flap is good method for reconstructing major defects of the tongue. The radial forearm free flap is thin, can be raised without patient position change, has constant vascular anatomy, and provides an advantage in the aesthetic aspect at the donor site.

Aesthetic Evaluation After Three-Dimensional Shaping of Free Flap for Nasal Reconstruction without Additional Paramedian Forehead Flap

Nasal reconstruction has continued to advance in accordance with Menick's vision as it was first conceived. His combination of radial forearm free flaps with the gold standard of paramedian forehead flaps is highly regarded for producing superior outcomes, and it has received widespread praise as a consequence. In this study, we present nine patients who had nose reconstruction using free flaps. All of the patients had successful outcomes. Using the FACE-Q questionnaire, we assessed the degree to which patients were satisfied with both the functional and aesthetic aspects of their appearance. The outcomes were positive for nine of the patients.
