PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN SITUASIONAL DAN KOMUNIKASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PADA CV SENI ECHO KEROBOKAN BALI

This research aims to determine the influence of situational leadership style and communication to employee satisfaction at Cv. Seni Echo Kerobokan Bali which is located at Jalan Raya Padang No. 18, Kerobokan, Bali. This research was conducted on employees of Cv. Art Echo Kerobokan Bali amounting to 80 employees. Sampling using census methods. The analysis tool used is a double linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of the situational leadership style were positively and significantly important to employee work satisfaction and the communication variables also positively and significantly impact on employee work satisfaction. As for the large variable influence situational leadership style and communication to the employee's work satisfaction variable is 88.20%. The remaining 11.80% (100%-88.20%) Described by other factors not included in this study.

THE IMPACT ON TURNOVER INTENTION THAT VIEWED THROUGH CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT WHICH MEDIATED BY WORK SATISFACTION AT PT. SINAR ANTJOL 1942

This research aims to evaluated and analyzed those influence of career development and work environment towards turnover intention which mediated by employee work satisfaction at PT. Sinar Antjol 1942. This research was conducted from October 2019 to April 2020 at PT Sinar Antjol Jakarta. Research data was questionnaire that calculated by Slovin formula with sample of 120 respondents out of 170 employees who had standard error of 5%. Data were analyzed by SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method with path analysis application SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) version 3.2.9 Windows. The results showed that career development and work environment had negative impact over turnover intention. Meanwhile, work satisfaction has succeeded in mediated between career development and work environment towards turnover intention.

Working hours and life satisfaction: finding blind spots from Korean panel data

ABSTRACT This study empirically tested the premise of working-hour reduction policies, which is that ‘if working hours are reduced, the life satisfaction of employees will increase,’ and whether the effects of working hours on life satisfaction would differ according to employees’ socioeconomic status, using longitudinal data from the Korean Labor and Income Panel Study for the period 2009–2017. We found that when working hours were reduced, work and leisure satisfaction increased significantly, but there was no significant increase in family or overall life satisfaction. In addition, when working hours decreased, the overall life, work, and leisure satisfaction of employees with higher socioeconomic status showed a significantly sharper increase than that of workers with lower socioeconomic status. These results imply that, in addition to current working-hour policies, additional efforts should be concentrated on employees who are not enjoying the policies’ benefits sufficiently due to lack of resources other than time.

An Analysis of the Effect Compensation towards Employee Performance and Work Satisfaction of Employees of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia tbk.

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance and work satisfaction at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk., Makassar Branch.
 The analytical method used is path analysis. Samples in this study were all amounting to 90 permanent employees of the company of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia ( Persero ) Makassar Branch Office, Then, the size of the samples that can represent the population to be examined was 83 respondents with the t-test as a research hypothesis test.
 Based on the results of the research which have been done, it can be known partially that the independent variables, namely compensation, has a positive effect on employee performance and job satisfaction, the research results also prove that there is a positive influence of compensation on job satisfaction and employee performance of the employees of PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero Makassar Branch Office.

ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ УРОВНЯ УДОВЛЕТВОРЕННОСТИ ТРУДОМ СОТРУДНИКОВ РОЗНИЧНЫХ ФАРМАЦЕВТИЧЕСКИХ ОРГАНИЗАЦИЙ

Abstract. The paper presents the results of the analysis of satisfaction of employees of pharmaceutical organizations based on sociological research. A.V. Batarshev’s method was used to study the structure of satisfaction index. Work satisfaction was assessed in 32 aspects which are united in 8 directions: interest in work, satisfaction with achievements in work, satisfaction with relationships with employees, satisfaction with management relationships, the level of claims in the professional activity, the preference of the work performed to high wages, satisfaction with working conditions, professional responsibility. With the help of the developed scale, a criterial quantitative assessment of the level of work satisfaction of pharmaceutical employees depending on their education and position was obtained. The directions of improvement of work on development of personnel potential of pharmaceutical employees promoting increase of professional responsibility level and growth of achievements in work as well as competitiveness of pharmaceutical organizations are revealed.

Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Motivasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan di Pabrik Gula Gempolkrep Mojokerto

The research purpose is to know of work environment and motivation on employee job satisfaction in sugar company of gempolkrep mojokerto. This kind of research used technik data analysis qualitatif with approach associative analysis. This Populasi taken was 296 permanent employees, take of sample by random sampling, this sample in this research amount 170 respondent, this research used technik with the collection the survey data or observasi, interview and documentation. Analyze data using statistical methods using validity and reliability, classic assumption tests, and hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression formulas. The results showed that, (1) The work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and (3) Simultaneous work environment and motivation influence the work satisfaction of Gempolkrep sugar factory employees.

PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA FISIK DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA NON FISIK TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT.PLN (PERSERO) WILAYAH SUMATERA SELATAN

This research aims to determine the influence of physical work environment and non-physical work environment to employee satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) South Sumatera region. Sampelyang used in this study is all employees of PT. PLN (Persero) region of South Sumatra which amounted to 82 people. The techniques in this study use methods in the form of data and numbers with a desktiptive approach that is to formulate and interpret data and numbers. As for the variables in this study is the physical work environment (X1) of the Non physical work environment (X2) and the bound variable (devenden) called the variable Y. Variable Y In this research work satisfaction. Data processed using software SPSS 23 for windows to produce a physical work environment to job satisfaction indicates that the value of T 4.944 significantly 0,000 < 0.05. Non Physical work environment variable on work satisfaction T value of 6.297 with significant 0,000 < 0.05. The hypothesis Examiner (test F) jointly 0,000 < 0, 05meaning that Ho is received, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between a variable of physical work environment and a non-physical work environment to employee work satisfaction at PT. Pengaruh Stres Kerja Dan Beban Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PT. Thamrin Brother’s Lahat

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of job stress and workload to job satisfaction of employees of PT. Thamrin Brother's Lahat. The research sample included 30 employees of PT. Thamrin Brother's Lahat. Test instrument test in this study are validity and reliability test for questionaure. Test requirements analysis include: data normality test, the linearity of the data, multiple linear regression, t test, F test and determination coefficient. The result of this research give the regression model . Based on the results of SPSS, value of correlation (r) is 0.839, it can be concluded that the variable work stress and workload variables have a very strong relationship to employee job satisfaction variable PT. Thamrin Brother's Lahat. The value of coefficient of determination (R2) is 0,704. This means that the influence of employee job satisfaction variable PT. Thamrin Brother's Lahat can be explained by work stress and workload variable with contribution of 70,4%, while the rest of 29,6% can be explained by other variable not included in this research model. Partial t-test show result that job stress and woakload both has the positive significant influence to job satisfaction. Simultant test with F-test show that job stress and workload as a whole have a significant effect on employee work satisfaction PT. Thamrin Brother's Lahat.

Work Engagement, Organizational Commitment and the Work Satisfaction of Tax Administration Employees: The Intermediary Role of Organizational Climate and Silence in the Organizations

The aim of the presented study was to verify the relationship between the level of work engagement and organizational commitment and work satisfaction experienced by employees, taking into account intermediary variables—i.e. the climate at the organization and the phenomenon of silence in the organization. The survey involved a total of 131 employees of the National Revenue Administration, including 35 males and 96 females. Five methods were used to verify the questions and research hypotheses: Allen and Meyer’s Organizational Commitment Scale, the AVEM questionnaire, Paluchowski’s Organizational Climate Questionnaire, the four forms of the Organizational Silence Scale, and the Job Descriptive Index (JDI). The results of the research show that there is a significant relationship between work engagement and organizational commitment and work satisfaction.

On the ability of virtual agents to decrease cognitive load: an experimental study

When attempting to solve a problem, humans call upon cognitive resources. These resources are limited, and the degree of their utilisation is described as cognitive load. While the number of parameters to be taken into account and to be processed by modern-day knowledge workers increases, their cognitive resources do not. Research shows that too high a load can increase stress and failure rates and decrease the work satisfaction and performance of employees. It is thus in the interest of organisations to reduce the cognitive load of their employees and keep it at a moderate level. One way to achieve this may be the application of virtual assistants (VAs), software programs, that can be addressed via voice or text commands and respond to the users’ input. This study uses a laboratory experiment with N = 91 participants comparing two groups in their ability to solve a task. One group was able to make use of a VA while the other could not. Besides task performance, the cognitive load of the participants was measured. Results show that (a) cognitive load is negatively related to task performance, (b) the group using the VA performed better at the task and (c) the group using the VA had a lower cognitive load. These findings show that VAs are a viable way to support employees and can increase their performance. It adds to the growing field of IS research on VAs by expanding the field for the concept of cognitive load.

EFFECT Of IMPLEMENTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS ACCOUNTING AND CONFORMITY OF TASKS – TECHNOLOGY ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

The study aims to test and analyse how much influence the implementation of accounting information systems and the suitability of technological duties towards employee performance. The samples used in this study were 42 employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Bandung. Data collection techniques are conducted by spreading the questionnaire to the respondent according to the prescribed sample. Statistical analyses used in the study were through the validity and reliability test of instruments, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analyses, correlation analyses and coefficient of determination testing with the help of IBM SPSS version 22. Hypothesis testing was conducted either partially with the T-Test as well as simultaneously through Test F. The results showed that partial, the magnitude of the implementation of accounting system to the employee's performance of 34.9% while the magnitude of Effect of technological task on the employee's performance of 25.8%. Simultaneously the influence of the implementation of accounting information system and the suitability of the technology task on the employee's performance is 35% while the remainder of 65% is the influence of other factors such as motivation, environment, workload, MA Employee's work satisfaction.

The Effect of Career Development and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction at PT E-Tirta Medical Center Employees Jakarta

This study aims to determine: (1) Effect of career development on employee work satisfaction PT. E-Tirta Medical Center, (2) The influence of work environment on employee work satisfaction of PT. E-Tirta Medical Center, (3) Influence of career development and work environment to job satisfaction of PT. E-Tirta Medical Center. The type of research used is survey. Population in this research is employees of PT. E-Tirta Medical Center. Sampling technique using purposive sampling method with the number of samples of 100 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used to answer the hypothesis is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Variable career development have a positive effect on employee work satisfaction PT E-Tirta Medical Center. This is evidenced from the tcount of 2.864 with a significance value of <0.05, and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.224; (2) Work environment variable positive influence on employee job satisfaction at PT. E-Tirta Medical Center. This can be proved from the tcount of 2,864, with significance value of <0.05, and the regression coefficient has a positive value of 0.869; (3) Variable of career development and work environment influence simultaneously to job satisfaction of employees at PT. E-Tirta Medical Center. This can be proved from the value of Fhitung of 59.382 while Ftable for n = 64 of 3.14, with significance <0.05.

The Influence of Organizational Culture and Individual Characteristic on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Medan

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture and individual characteristic on employee job satisfaction at PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Medan both partially and simultaneously. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Medan, amounting to 35 people. The sample used is a saturated sample given the relatively small population. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, organizational culture and individual characteristic both partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee work satisfaction at PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Medan.

Multidimensional model of managing older employees: The case of financial service companies in Slovenia

Abstract Future economic growth and competitiveness will increasingly depend on how effectively employers can utilise their ageing workforces. To manage the inevitable changes in demographics, employers need to start preparing for an ageing workforce and developing strategies to manage and retain older employees. The main objective of this paper is to determine the impact of leadership and employee relations on work satisfaction of older employees, as well as to determine the impact of work satisfaction on the work engagement of older employees in financial service companies in Slovenia. To test the hypotheses, the authors used structural equation modelling. The results show that the effects of leadership and employee relations on work satisfaction in the case of older employees in financial service companies in Slovenia are positive, and the effect of work satisfaction on the work engagement of older employees is positive, too.

The importance of keeping employees satisfied

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between three antecedents, namely, work self-determination, managerial support (i.e. interpersonal motivation style) and person–organization fit (P-O) (i.e. shared values among employees and the overall organization) on employee work satisfaction in a French Canadian health care context. Assessing the relationships between such intrapersonal, interpersonal and macro-level variables will help to better comprehend work satisfaction in health care and shed light on applicable transformations for management.Design/methodology/approachThe study tested a judicious model grounded in self-determination theory in order to capture and construe the three levels of influence. Participants were recruited from four health centers in the Suroît (Quèbec, Canada) region. Management was provided with the questionnaire and asked to distribute to all employees including nurses and allied health. A serial multiple mediation analysis was used to test the proposed model.FindingsThe findings revealed that nearly 60 percent of the participants from each of the professional groups reported feeling moderately to not at all satisfied with their job (follow-up ANOVA revealed that nurses were the least satisfied). Through closer examination, the findings revealed that 46 percent of the variance in reported job satisfaction was explained by the three focal antecedents from the hypothesized model (work self-determination, managerial support and P-O fit). Therefore the model, in its entirety, represents a comprehensive perspective for influencing employee work satisfaction in particularly demanding health care work contexts.Originality/valueThe study is the first to indicate the prevailing factors necessary to pursue and support employee satisfaction within a health care context among French Canadians.

PENGARUH EFIKASI DIRI, MOTIVASI KERJA, LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN PT. SUKANDA DJAYA DENPASAR

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self efficacy, work motivation and work environment on employee job satisfaction. The population of this research is all employees of PT. Sukanda Djaya Denpasar Branch numbering 97 people. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, where all members of the population are sampled. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. The analytical technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that self efficacy, work motivation, and work environment have a positive and significant impact on employee work satisfaction. This has the meaning that the higher level of employee confidence in the company, the higher the employee's motivation, and the better the working environment in PT. Sukanda Djaya Denpasar Branch, it will affect the increasing employee job satisfaction

PERAN KOMITMEN ORGANISASIONAL DALAM MEMEDIASI PENGARUH KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN KRISNA OLEH - OLEH

Job satisfaction and organizational commitment can increase employee performance which affects achievement of company goals. The purpose of this study to determine mediating role of organizational commitment on work satisfaction and performance of employees of Krisna by Typical Bali I. The population of this study were 55 people, with a saturated sample method. Data collection through questionnaires and interviews, analyzed by SEM - PLS. The test results shows job satisfaction has significant positive effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has positive significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has negative significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has positive significant effect in mediating the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. The company is expected to increase employee job satisfaction in order to increase employee commitment to the company so that employee performance will increase. This can be realized by treating employees well, giving awards to employees with good performance
