ANALISIS KETERLIBATAN HIDUP MENGGEREJA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR KOTA BENGKULU DI PAROKI SANTO YOHANES PENGINJIL BENGKULU

This study aims to analyze the involvement of Bengkulu City Elementary School Students in church life. This research was conducted at the St. Yohanes Evangelist Parish Bengkulu from September to October 2021. This research used a qualitative method. The subjects used in this study were Bengkulu City Elementary School Students. Data collection techniques used in this study were in the form of interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that there are still many Elementary School Students in Bengkulu City who have not been involved in church life. Some of the obstacles faced by the students were from within, such as: lack of enthusiasm and not knowing the benefits of being involved in church life; while external factors such as: parents who are always busy at work, the distance between the church and the house is quite far, the economic situation is not supportive, and the meeting schedule between activities has not been well coordinated. Based on this fact, the writer recommends the Parish Pastor, Parish Pastoral Council, and parents to work together to give more serious attention to children as the successors of the Church.

Implementation of Inclusive Education at Elementary Schools During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Education must be open, regardless of race, ethnicity, or characteristics, for a student with a disability. Inclusive education is an alternative that is facilitated by the government to reduce discrimination so that children with special needs can obtain a quality education. However, over time the implementation of inclusive education has been hampered by several obstacles, especially with the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, there are still many schools providing inclusive education that do not have special assistant teachers, and there is not even a special budget to provide inclusive education. This study aims to examine and describe the implementation of inclusive education at the Payakumbuh City Elementary Schoolbduring the Covid-19 pandemic. The research is a descriptive-analytic study, and data collection techniques were carried out using observation and interviews. The result of the study found that the implementation of inclusive education at the Payakumbuh City elementary schools had not been running by the criteria for implementing inclusive education. This is due to the absence of a dedicated budget for providing inclusive education, teachers’ misunderstandings regarding the characteristics and needs of students with special needs, limited facilities that accommodate the needs of students with special needs, and pandemic conditions that make the learning process less effective. Therefore, these obstacles in the implementation of inclusive education must be overcome immediately, local governments can consider holding socialization in schools, to provide understanding to teachers, because they are the ones who will teach students with special needs.

Primary School Supervision During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Qualitative Study of How Elementary School Superintendent in Bontang City Responded to Growing Needs

Supervisors are parties who are expected to provide professional development for teachers in teaching and learning activities and provide the latest information related to educational policies, provide alternative solutions when schools have difficulty improving quality or running educational programs. However, limited attention is paid to primary school supervision issues during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This article discusses the implementation of primary school supervision in Bontang City during the COVID-19 pandemic. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method is used to describe the conditions that occurred at the time the research was conducted and then examine the causes of the conditions under study. Then, the researcher also explained how the supervisory plan for monitoring, implementing and evaluating Bontang City elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results showed that school supervision during the pandemic was not carried out properly. The implementation of supervision does not follow the supervisor's technical instructions during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the supervision process does not provide real implications for the implementation of effective learning.

Development of learning media for minangkabau natural culture in elementary schools

This research develops learning media products in the form of Minang language story books for learning Minangkabau Natural Culture. This subject is one of the local content subjects at the Padang City Elementary School, West Sumatra Province. The development of this learning media is motivated by the learning needs of Minangkabau Natural Culture which does not yet have an alternative media in the learning process. This study uses a development research approach using the ADDIE model which consists of the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. This research is very important to do because it sees the lack of learning media developed for Minangkabau Natural Culture subjects for elementary school students. The results showed that the developed learning media had a good usability level with an average score of 89.1%. Testing the effectiveness of the learning media also showed a score of 85.6% in the very good category. Thus, from the results of the development carried out, it can be concluded that the use of learning media can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes of Minangkabau Natural Culture Subjects in elementary schools.

TINGKAT BELAJAR MANDIRI DI MASA PANDEMI COVID – 19 DALAM HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

This study aims to describe the level of student independent learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in thematic learning in relation to the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at 39 public elementary schools, Pontianak City. The method used The method used is a descriptive method in the form of relationship studies (interrelationship studies) using a correlation study research method (correlation studies). The population in this study found 33 students. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires (questionnaire), and document collection. The data collection tools used are questionnaires and student daily test scores. The results of the study showed that student self-study during the COVID-19 pandemic, grade IV at 39 Pontianak City Elementary School, which was 84.06% was classified as a good result. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at 39 Pontianak City Elementary Schools are in the form of average daily test scores for Theme 1 and Theme 2 students in the odd semester for the 2021/2022 academic year, which consists of 33 students, which is 61.75%, which is included in the sufficient category. The results based on calculations using the product moment correlation formula for student self-study calculations with test scores obtained rcount of 0.470, while the rtable of 0.355 means rcount > rtable or (0.470 > 0.355). Based on the research, the relationship between independent learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at 39 Pontianak City Elementary School is included in the category.

The Meningkatkan Kemampuan Implementasi Merdeka Belajar Melalui Seminar Online Bagi Guru dan Kepala Sekolah

The essence of independent learning is to explore the greatest potential of teachers and students to innovate and improve the quality of learning independently. However, the facts show that not a few teachers and principals do not fully understand the essence of free learning and how to implement it independently in their respective schools. This community service activity aims to improve the ability to implement free learning policies for teachers and principals of PAUD, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High Schools in Semarang Regency, Salatiga City, Brebes Regency and Blora Regency. The form of activity is an online seminar using zoom media with lecture and discussion methods carried out in two (2) stages. The level of achievement of the attendance of the first stage participants was 131 (87.33%) in the GOOD category. The attendance of the second stage participants was 326 (108.66%) in the VERY GOOD category. The level of perception of the participants showed: 1) The material presented reached 91.05% in the VERY GOOD category; 2) The performance of the speakers reached 88.16% in the GOOD category; 3) Participants' satisfaction reached 87.03% in the GOOD category. The level of understanding of the essence and implementation of independent learning is shown in the description of positive responses about the benefits of the seminars that are attended and constructive criticism and suggestions from participants on the implementation of online seminars.

DESKRIPSI RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 29 PONTIANAK KOTA

AbstractThis study aims to describe the thematic learning implementation plan (RPP) of the 2013 curriculum for fourth semester 1st semester of State Elementary School 29 Pontianak City. The things described are the completeness of the components of the thematic learning implementation plan and the accuracy of the contents of each component in the thematic learning implementation lesson plan based on Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning process standards. The type of research used is qualitative research, with descriptive research methods. The subject of this research is a teacher learning tool in the form of a lesson plan (RPP) prepared by a fourth grade teacher at the 29 Pontianak City Elementary School. The data collection procedures used are Observation Techniques, Communication Techniques, and Documentation Techniques with data collection tools such as Observation Sheets, Interview Guides, and Documentation (in the form of teacher's lesson plans). The results showed that the completeness of the components of the learning implementation plan made by the teacher was complete and in accordance with Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning process standards. DESKRIPSI RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 42 PONTIANAK KOTA

AbstrakThis study aims to describe the preparation of an online learning implementation planby grade IV teachers at the 42 Pontianak City Elementary School during the Covid-19Pandemic. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research.The source of the data for this research is the fourth grade teacher of the 42 PontianakCity Elementary School and the data is the online Learning Implementation Plan (RPP)document and the results of interviews with the fourth grade teacher of the 42 PontianakCity State Elementary School. The results of the analysis show that the components ofthe learning implementation plan prepared by the teacher have been guided by the SEKemendikbud Number 14 of 2019 regarding the simplification of the LearningImplementation Plan, but on the completeness and regularity of the componentpreparation there are criteria that are not appropriate for the components of objectives,learning scenarios and learning evaluation. Components that meet the appropriatecriteria are learning media and learning resources. Analysis of the Multimedia Use of Primary Schools

Multimedia in learning could make the learning atmosphere more attractive for student attention and student interactions. The objectives of this research were: (1) describe the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City; (2) analyze the comparison of the use of multimedia learning in terms of school accreditation by the teacher at elementary school in Kendari City; (3) analyze aspects of obstacles in the use of multimedia learning for elementary school teachers in Kendari City. This research used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory strategy held at the Kendari City Elementary School. The school sample was determined using the random cluster sampling technique selecting 3 schools from 11 sub-districts. Each sub-district took 2 accredited A and non-A public schools and 1 accredited private school so that the total respondents were 66 people. Research data was collected through observation forms and interviews. The results of this research showed that: (1) multimedia learning use by primary school teachers in Kendari City was still good; (2) there was a meaningful comparison of the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City in terms of school accreditation; (3) aspects of barriers to the use of multimedia learning by primary school teachers in Kendari City include: (a) teachers 'lack competence in IT, (b) teachers' misconceptions about learning multimedia, (c) the lack of support structures and infrastructures, (d)) the lack of training on multimedia learning means, (e) the lack of involvement of the educational software used by teachers to support learning activities.

School Readiness in Implementing and Evaluating the Reinforcement of Character Education Program in Yogyakarta City

The Reinforcement of Character Education (PPK) program was started in 2019 and has been implemented in various schools including the Yogyakarta City elementary schools. This study aimed to describe the readiness of schools in implementing and evaluating this program in Yogyakarta City. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The sample was determined using simple random sampling techniques and consisted of 119 schools. The results showed that only 5% of the schools were ready to implement the program; schools had not yet implemented the PPK program, and had not yet optimized the associated triple education function, namely concerning family, schools and communities. PPK implementation was through the curriculum and habituation in schools because all teachers understood it. Only 4% of schools were ready to evaluate the program, because schools did not have well organized program evaluation teams. This showed that schools need to get assistance in implementing and evaluating PPK, to ensure that it is successful in helping to build character.

Integration of Oral Health Interventions in the Health Promoting Schools Program in Iran: A Multi-Stakeholder Feasibility Assessment

Objectives: Based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization, we investigated the feasibility of oral health interventions (OHIs) as part of Health Promoting Schools (HPS) program in Karaj city elementary schools. Materials and Methods: OHIs were accepted to be integrated into the components of HPS program by using the nominal group technique (NGT) and semi-structured interviews. Three NGT meetings were held with the faculty members of the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Karaj elementary school health care providers. Semi-structured interviews were held with school health executives of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The expert panel edited the OHIs and corrected the fragmentations, overlaps, and duplications. OHIs were sent to 24 individuals in six multi-stakeholder groups (faculty members of pediatric dentistry and community oral health departments, elementary school administrators, executive managers of Ministry of Health and Medical Education, elementary school dean and school healthcare providers). They were asked to score the feasibility of each intervention on a scale of 0 to 10. Results : Based on the mean score of feasibility (threshold: 8) the OHIs were divided into two groups of feasible and infeasible. Eighty-six interventions were feasible, with a total mean score of 8.83±0.59 out of 10. The highest feasibility score was related to “comprehensive school health education”. Conclusion: Integration of OHIs in HPS program is acceptable and feasible. The results can help policy-makers support the integration of OHIs in HPS program and encourage them to implement the program at the national level.

PENINGKATAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN MELALUI MANAJEMEN FULL DAY SCHOOL PADA SD FULL DAY DI KOTA BANDUNG

Technology affects moral and social values in society, coupled with the lack of time provided by parents to accompany their children. With a full day school system, it is considered capable of providing a balanced portion of religious-based scientific fields to students. The purpose of the study was to determine management in the implementation of full day school schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that education planning with a full day school system in Bandung City Elementary School covers the fields of curriculum, teaching staff, infrastructure, students and financing. The curriculum used is basically the same, namely the compulsory content curriculum, local content curriculum, and additional content curriculum, which only distinguishes the division of time allocation and how to reduce subjects so that they are in line between the compulsory content curriculum and the additional curriculum that is a characteristic or superior program in each of these schools. The implementation of education with a full day school system at Elementary School in Bandung City includes the following components: motivation, leadership type and decision-making techniques. The provision of motivation is carried out every day after school hours through upgrading activities to prepare materials and learning media the next day, the principal also conducts weekly coaching, there is also monthly coaching carried out by the foundation. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Komik Berbasis Cerita Rakyat Bengkulu di SD

The purpose of this study was to develop folklore-based comics teaching materials in Bengkulu City elementary schools. The method used is Research and Development using the ADDIE (Analysis–Design–Develop-Implement–Evaluate) model. However, this research is only in the Analysis-Design-Develop stage. Research data from interviews and questionnaires, interview data sources, observations, and documentation. The research instrument for analyzing the needs of teachers and students is in the form of a list of questions and questionnaires, descriptive data analysis. The results of the study were folklore-based comics in elementary schools in Bengkulu City. Folklore material is taught only at the competency stage. The competence of teachers regarding folklore is not sufficient, meaning that one story has not been fully understood, the number of stories known by the teacher does not exceed five stories.

Etnopedagogy Approach To Science Learning In Sdn 50 City Of Ternate Based On The Local Wisdom Of Rempah North Maluku

Local wisdom-oriented learning in elementary schools in the city of Ternate has not been implemented optimally. In general, schools have implemented thematic learning that should contain local wisdom. Ethnopedagogy is the actualization of learning oriented to the cultivation of local wisdom values. Ethnopedagogic aproach in elementary schools need to be implemented through strategies and innovative learning media that are able to attract students' attention to understand and apply local wisdom. This study aims to integrate Cloves as an identity flora in North Maluku in the implementation of an ethnopedagogic aproach at elementary schools in Ternate. This study uses a qualitative approach with a mixed method of research instruments consisting of observation sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis technique with concurrent triangulation strategy. The results showed that the ethnopedagogical approach implemented through learning activities using cloves as a spice study object in North Maluku was an effective alternative to local wisdom-based learning applied in elementary schools in Ternate city. Through the integration of cloves in an ethnopedagogical approach, it can improve scientific literacy skills and students' learning motivation. This study recommends that the ethnopedagogical approach can be implemented with innovative learning activities based on local wisdom.

Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Kooperatif untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika di Sekolah Dasar

This research aims to analyze the application of cooperative learning methods and their impact on improving mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. The cooperative learning method is a pedagogical approach that involves cooperation between students in small groups to achieve joint learning goals. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of fifth grade students in one of the elementary schools in City X, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The research results showed that students who studied using cooperative methods had significant improvements in mathematics learning outcomes compared to students who studied using conventional methods. Apart from that, this method also contributes to improving students' social skills and self-confidence. These findings indicate that the application of cooperative learning methods is not only effective in improving learning outcomes, but also in developing students' affective aspects. Therefore, this method is recommended to be applied more widely in mathematics learning in elementary schools..

Pengaruh Penggunaan Teknologi Digital dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Digital Siswa Sekolah Dasar

This research aims to analyze the influence of the use of digital technology in increasing the digital literacy of elementary school students. Digital literacy is an important ability that students must have in this digital era, including skills in using information and communication technology effectively and responsibly. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design, involving 60 fifth grade students in two elementary schools in City X. Data was collected through digital literacy tests before and after digital technology intervention in learning. The research results show a significant increase in the digital literacy skills of students who use digital technology compared to students who do not use technology in their learning. These findings show the importance of integrating digital technology in the curriculum to develop digital literacy from an early age among elementary school students.

Model Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) di Sekolah Dasar

The purpose of this study is to describe the planning and implementation of integrated thematic learning based on Project Based Learning/PjBL in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data generated are in the form of a description of the PjBL-based integrated thematic learning planning model and a description of the PjBL-based integrated thematic learning implementation model in Blitar City Elementary School. The subject of this research is a teacher who supports integrated thematic learning in three elementary schools in the City of Blitar. The findings of the study indicate that PjBL-based integrated learning in Border Elementary Schools has an average percentage of 98.3%, Outer Elementary Schools of 97.2% and Urban Elementary Schools of 98.6%; while the implementation of the PjBL-based integrated thematic learning model in Border Elementary Schools obtained an average percentage of 84.4%, Outer Elementary Schools of 71.4%, and Urban Elementary Schools of 88.6%. It was concluded that elementary school teachers in the City of Blitar in implementing integrated thematic learning based on PjBL obtained an average of 89.43%. Thus, it is concluded that teachers have very good abilities in implementing PjBL-based integrated thematic learning in elementary schools

Effect of Traditional and Virtual Oral Hygiene Instruction to School Health Instructors on Plaque Index of Elementary Schoolchildren

AIM: This study compared the effect of traditional and virtual oral hygiene instruction to school health instructors on plaque index (PI) of elementary schoolchildren. METHODS AND MATERIALS: In this descriptive, analytical study, 66 elementary schools in Kermanshah city were selected by cluster sampling. The school health instructors first participated in a pretest and filled out a questionnaire. The O’Leary’s index of 339 elementary schoolchildren was measured at baseline. Next, the school health instructors received oral hygiene instructions in two groups (n = 33) of virtual instruction through an online course and traditional classroom setting. After 3 weeks, a post-test was held and school health instructors filled out the same questionnaire for the 2nd time. After 3 months, the PI of students was measured again. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test, t-test, Mann–Whitney U-test, and ANOVA. RESULTS: Both instruction methods significantly enhanced the oral hygiene knowledge of instructors (p < 0.001) but virtual instruction was significantly more effective (p = 0.02). No significant association was noted between age, work experience of instructors, or their level of education with their knowledge level in the virtual group (p > 0.05). An inverse correlation was noted between age and work experience of instructors with their knowledge level in the traditional instruction group (p < 0.05). Both instruction methods caused significant improvement of PI of students (p < 0.001) but virtual instruction was more effective (p < 0.001). CONCLUSION: Correct oral hygiene instruction to school health instructors (preferably by virtual instruction) can reduce PI elementary schoolchildren.

Analisis Instrumen Asesmen Unjuk Kerja pada Pembelajaran PJOK di Sekolah Dasar Kota Cirebon

This study aims to analyze the validity and reliability and practicality of the performance assessment instruments in PJOK learning in Cirebon City Elementary Schools. This research uses an R&D development model using Borg and Gall analysis which the researcher modifies into three stages of define design and develop. The results of the content validity test were analyzed using the T Score from all aspects assessed by experts which included aspects of the conformity of aspects with indicators, writing, language, and physical appearance, the ideal percentage value of 91% was included in the criteria Very good and worthy of use. The results of the reliability of performance instruments on a small scale use GENOVA analysis, for passing indicators (0.91), dribbling indicators (0.92). The practicality of the instrument analyzed using the T score obtained an average score of 52.33 and from the T score of each rater I (49), rater II (54), and from rater III a T score (54) was obtained and based on the instrument teacher's assessment performance assessment is classified as practical. In conclusion, the performance assessment instrument in PJOK learning that was developed has met the requirements of validity, reliability and practicality, as an evaluation tool that can be used further by teachers of PJOK SD in Cirebon City.

Arthur’s father, Isador, was an orphan from Odessa, then part of Russia, while his mother, Anna, was from the province of Galicia, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Isador immigrated to the United States in 1910, shortly before his nineteenth birthday. Upon his arrival at Ellis Island, his surname, Ashkenasy, was Americanized to Ashkin. Having trained as a dental technician in the orphanage where he was raised, Isador established his own dental laboratory on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, specializing in dental prostheses. Anna, who worked briefly as a secretary in Red Hook, Brooklyn, became a homemaker, raising Arthur and his siblings in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Arthur had three siblings, a younger sister, Ruth, an elder brother, Julius, and the first-born, Gertrude, who died at a young age. Ruth studied Greek and Latin at The City College of New York and became an esteemed teacher in the New York City elementary school system. Julius became a physicist.
