Learning the Value of Character Education from Indonesian Animation Series: Adit & Sopo Jarwo

It is urgent to carry out character education because with the provision of character education students will be able to empower their potential to build their personal character so that they are able to become individuals who are beneficial to themselves and their environment. Focus and aim of this research is to analyze the value of character education from the Indonesian Animation Series: Adit Sopo Jarwo for elementary school students. Type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. The data sampling technique used purposive sampling and the samples in this study were fourth grade elementary school students and teachers who taught in that class. The research procedure used in this research uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, presenting data in descriptive form and making conclusions. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews and observations. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results and conclusions are obtained that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo has character education value, namely the mutual cooperation character in the episode "Serunya Kerja Bakti dan Tamasya Bersama" and the independent character in the episode "Bunda Pergi Adel Mandiri", so that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo can be used as audio visual media to instill the character of mutual cooperation and independence in elementary school students.

Pop-Up Book Learning Media Used with the Problem Based Learning Model to Determine Characters in Fictional Stories

The low student learning outcomes in Indonesian are caused by a lack of media or a mismatch in the learning models used by teachers in learning. This research aims to develop Pop-Up Book learning media with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes for fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is developed using the Borg & Gall development model. The research subjects were 25 students. The experts who are the subject of this research are media experts and material experts. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. This research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire and test questions. Data analysis techniques use data normality tests (Kolmogorov Smirnov), paired t-tests, and N-gain tests. The research results showed that after going through the product validation stage by material experts, a score of 90.9% was obtained. According to media experts obtained a score of 85.4% in the very feasible category. The effectiveness of the media was tested by calculating the results of the initial and final tests using the paired t-test. It was found that there were differences in the average learning outcomes before and after applying the Pop-Up Book learning media with the PBL model. It was concluded that the Pop-Up Book was effective and suitable for learning and improved students' ability to understand the material of finding fictional story characters in Indonesian subjects. The implication of this research is that the Pop-Up Book developed can be used in Indonesian language learning.

'SIMLA' Educational Game-Based Learning Media for the Inculcation of Pancasila Symbols and Principles, Augmenting Independent Character

The transition from the K13 curriculum to an independent curriculum creates problems, especially in the learning process and learning media. A learning process needs to be supported by good learning media to achieve learning goals. This research aims to develop the educational game learning media "SIMLA" with material on the symbols and principles of Pancasila to strengthen the independent character of fourth-grade elementary school students. The type of research used is the research and development (R&D) ADDIE development model. The research subjects were material experts, media, teachers, and fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection includes interview guides, validation instruments, and student questionnaires. This quantitative data was obtained from material, media, user/teacher, and student validator questionnaires. Qualitative data was obtained from suggestions and input from experts, users, and students. The validator analysis technique uses a Likert Scale. Data obtained from product trials and usage tests uses the Guttman scale. The results obtained from material validation were 87.5% (very valid), media validation 93.75% (very valid), user validation 100% (very valid), and product trials 100% (very practical/interesting). It is practical and fun to improve independent character. The results of the paired t-test show that this product is very effective in improving students' abilities. The educational game learning media produced using the Construct 3 application is valid and can improve student learning outcomes.

The Influence of Gobak Sodor Traditional Games towards Students’ Agility and Teamwork

Traditional sports are a type of sport that exists in a certain area, based on the culture of that area. Traditional games are physical activities that are carried out consciously and deliberately and use traditional rules that have been passed down from generation to generation by the community. The traditional game that researchers used to conduct this research was the traditional game gobak sodor. The gobak sodor game is a team sport consisting of more than two people in one group. The aim of this research is to describe the influence of the traditional game Gobak Sodor on students' agility and cooperation so that there is no need for a comparison class (control class) so that conclusions can be drawn whether there is an influence of the traditional game Gobak Sodor on students' agility and cooperation. The sample in this study was 29 students at SDI Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal taken using purposive sampling technique. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research method, one group pretest posttest design. Shuttle run test for agility, observation of cooperation to determine the level of cooperation and documentation. Statistical calculations using SPSS 26 paired sample t test. The data shows that there is a significant influence of traditional gobak sodor on the agility of fourth grade elementary school students.

Global Diversity Values in Indonesia: An Elementary School High-Grade Indonesian Language Textbook Analysis

This research aims to analyze global diversity values present in Indonesian language textbooks for fourth-grade elementary school students. The study employs a qualitative approach with content analysis as the method. The research objects consist of four textbooks published by Erlangga, Yudistira, Bumi Aksara, and Puskurbuk Kemdikbudristek. The analysis process involves selecting relevant material samples, developing analytical categories, coding the content, and interpreting emerging patterns. The research findings indicate that the Indonesian language textbooks for fourth-grade elementary school students provide activities and experiences that enrich their understanding of cultural diversity in Indonesia. Students are taught to develop attitudes of tolerance and intercultural communication, as well as reflection and responsibility towards diversity. These books contribute to shaping students who are inclusive, tolerant, and capable of communicating in a multicultural environment, embodying the values of global diversity character. The importance of fostering global diversity character in primary school students is highlighted through education, particularly using meticulously designed Indonesian language textbooks. These textbooks introduce students to various aspects of Indonesian and other cultures, promoting understanding, appreciation, and tolerance for cultural diversity. Emphasizing character development, the textbooks instruct students in intercultural communication and encourage interactions with culturally diverse peers, fostering effective communication skills for multicultural environments. Furthermore, students are prompted to reflect on their own multicultural experiences, shaping their global perspectives. In summary, Indonesian language textbooks serve as a vital resource in shaping students into inclusive, tolerant individuals proficient in effective communication within multicultural contexts.

Development of Learning Management with Animated Video to Increase Motivation and Learning Outcomes

The aim of this research is to analyse the development of learning management using thematic animated video media to increase motivation and learning outcomes for fourth grade elementary school students in Theme 9. The method used is research and development according to Borg and Gall. The data sources in this research were fourth grade elementary school students in Grobogan and Kudus Regencies, Central Java, with data collection tools used including questionnaires, tests, observations and interviews. The data analysis used was the validity and reliability test of the instrument, normality test, homogeneity test, n-Gain test and Independent Sample t-test. The research results show that the design begins with planning with components of thematic learning analysis, analysis of motivation and learning outcomes in online learning, planning consists of curriculum analysis - formulation of objectives - analysis of sources and materials - analysis of learning models, designing media animation videos by making storyboards, preparing assets – complementary assets and video animation tools. In the process with PowerPoint video components and Camtasia 2019 specifications. Animated video content with "My Country's Wealth Theme" in online learning with initial stage components (basic competencies (KD), objectives, learning materials, core activities and evaluation. Material feasibility test results get a score 3.3 with very good criteria, and media expert eligibility received a score of 3.4 with very good criteria. The results of the effectiveness test in 2 regions obtained an n-Gain value of 0.659 in the Hake n-gain table in the good category. In conclusion, thematic learning management with animated videos effectively increases learning motivation and learning outcomes in thematic learning.

Implementation of Team Quiz to Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Elementary School Students

This research aims to enhance students' learning outcomes. This type of research is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 20 fourth-grade elementary school students. The instruments used were learning outcome tests, teacher and student observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used firstly involved continuous data reduction throughout the research. Secondly, data presentation was done in the form of a presentation of the improvement of students' abilities to determine learning completeness using individual, classical, mean, median, percentage analysis, and standard deviation formulas. Thirdly, data verification, where the categorization of learning outcomes is adjusted to the school. The results showed that the team quiz type of learning successfully improved students' learning outcomes in the class. In two cycles of learning, the percentage of mathematics completeness increased from 10% to 75%. This model is effective and recommended for further learning processes.

Enhancing Problem-Solving Skills and Spirit of Mutual Cooperation in Mathematics Learning through Teaching at the Right Level Approach

The importance of learning mathematics is inversely proportional to the fact that using conventional learning methods causes low problem-solving abilities and the spirit of cooperation among students. Another problem encountered was that students still needed help solving problems related to flat figures, and only a few students had a spirit of cooperation during group work. This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of implementing the TaRL approach in improving students' problem-solving skills, the spirit of cooperation, and social interaction in mathematics learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted on 27 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data collection techniques in this research used research instruments in the form of interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. This data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman (1994) method. The research results show a significant increase in mathematics learning. Applying the TaRL approach has resulted in a significant increase in first and second-cycle scores, especially at the intermediate knowledge level, which increased from 68.57% to 72.33%, and at the high level, which increased from 73.00% to 76.00%. In addition, there was a significant increase in the students' spirit of cooperation, with the "very good" category increasing from 7.41% to 22.22%. It shows that the TaRL approach positively impacts learning outcomes and a collaborative spirit in the classroom. The TaRL approach effectively strengthened students' problem-solving skills and cooperation spirit.

Improving Experimentation Skills through the Implementation of Project Based Learning: Analysis of Creative Thinking Skills

<em>This research aims to: (1) determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on students' experimentation skills; (2) determine the influence of creative thinking skills on students' experimentation skills; (3) knowing the interaction between Project Based Learning (PjBL) and creative thinking skills on students' experimentation skills. The subjects of this research were all fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a quasi-experimental research design that provides pretests and posttests to the control class and experimental class groups. The research instruments used were performance to measure students' experimentation skills and written tests to measure students' creative thinking skills. Data analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and balance. Hypothesis testing uses a two-way ANOVA test with different cells. The results of this research show that (1) Project Based Learning (PjBL) influences students' experimentation skills; (2) Creative thinking skills influence students' experimentation skills; (3) The application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) has an effect on students who have high creative thinking skills. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of Project Based Learning on experimentation skills in science learning in terms of creative thinking skills</em>

Mathematics teaching module design with tri-n (niteni, nirokke, nambahi) with problem based learning model

This research aimed to develop fourth-grade elementary school students� integration of learning with problem-based learning and the teachings of Ki Hadjar Dewantara Tri-N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi). This research is research and development with the PPE development model which consists of three stages, namely Planning (Planning), Production (Product Preparation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). This research was conducted at Ngentak Sanden Elementary School, Bantul Regency in Grade IV mathematics subjects. The data collection instrument uses an assessment sheet of mathematics teaching modules that have been validated by experts (expert judgment). The data collection technique in this study used product validity tests. The initial step of this research is to convert qualitative data from the results of expert assessment, material and media into quantitative data forms. The next step is to calculate the actual score and the average of the actual score. Quantitative data in the form of average actual scores are then converted into qualitative data using the Likert scale. The results of validation by material and media experts, the module is said to be valid with an average actual score of 98.5 with good criteria and 51.7 with Very Good criteria. The results of this study are expected to provide benefits for students in learning to improve mathematical reasoning. This research was successfully carried out by designing and developing a mathematics teaching module with a problem-based learning model based on Tri-N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) in a Grade IV Elementary School.

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Roda Putar Rangsa Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Pada Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

This research is entitled Development of Rangsa Spin Wheel Media in Social Studies Learning for Class IV Elementary School Students. The aim of this research is to develop a product in the form of Rangsa spin wheel learning media in social studies learning for Class IV elementary school students. To determine the effectiveness and practicality of developing learning media. Rangsa spinning wheel in social studies learning for fourth grade elementary school students. This research adopts the Research and Development type of research using Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation. The results of this research are based on research conducted on the development of the Rangsa Spin Wheel Media with the help of the Canva Application in Social Sciences Subjects for Class V students of SDN 96 Palembang, it can be concluded that the media was developed using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model and was rated "Valid" based on evaluations from the four validators, with a validity percentage of 88% for the material aspect and 87%. % for other aspects. Individual and small group testing indicated that this medium was considered “Practical,” with percentages of 80% and 81% respectively. Teacher responses, which were evaluated through questionnaires, also showed a practicality level of 83%. Overall, the student learning test results showed an average score of 91.6% in the "Very Good" category.

공공데이터를 활용한 초등학교 사회과 인공지능융합 수업 사례 개발 및 적용 연구

Objectives In this study, we investigated how project classes that discover and solve local problems based on public data affect the development of data literacy skills in elementary school students.
 Methods After analyzing the needs of instructors and learners by applying the ADDIE model, a 10-session social studies education program for elementary school using public data was developed and two Delphi tests were conducted. In addition, a two-group pretest-posttest experiment was conducted to measure the effects of data literacy on 38 fourth-grade elementary school students in Sejong City.
 Results The experimental group in which students directly searched and analyzed public data showed statistically significant improvement in the data collection area of data literacy competency compared to the control group in which students analyzed data provided by teachers. In addition, the experimental and control groups showed the same improvement in other areas of data literacy except the data collection area.
 Conclusions This social studies education program using public data improved the overall data literacy skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. In addition, compared to the existing teaching method that uses data provided by the teacher, the teaching program in this study can improve some areas of data literacy competency by allowing students to find data on their own in their daily lives and use it to solve problems.

STEAM-Project-Based Learning: A Catalyst for Elementary School Students’ Scientific Literacy Skills

<p style="text-align:justify">The need for early comprehension of scientific concepts in elementary school students is crucial. However, studies have indicated that some students lack a fundamental understanding of such concepts, highlighting the importance of effective teaching methods to improve scientific literacy at an early age. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the ability of Project-Based Learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM-PjBL) to improve students' scientific literacy, knowledge, and application of foundational scientific principles. A quasi-experimental methodology was employed, involving 22 female and 26 male fourth-grade elementary school students as participants. The study administered a Scientific Literacy Test (SLT) treatment to the students, followed by unpaired and paired t-tests to examine the impact of the STEAM-PjBL model on their scientific literacy skills. The results showed that STEAM-PjBL improved students' scientific literacy skills significantly more than traditional instruction. The experimental group outperformed the control group in the post-test, indicating the effectiveness of STEAM-PjBL. Therefore, the study recommends the adoption of the STEAM-PjBL model by elementary school teachers to improve students' understanding of fundamental scientific concepts.</p>

The Impact of Strengthening Character Education Based on Tri Hita Karana on Mathematics Learning Outcomes for Fourth-Grade Students

This research is motivated by students' low curiosity and behavior when learning mathematics. This is reflected in the unsatisfactory learning outcomes and the need for more motivation among students towards the subject. This study investigates and analyzes the strong influence of strengthening character education based on Tri Hita Karana on the significant improvement of mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This research is an ex-post facto type, correlating the strengthening of character education based on Tri Hita Karana as the independent variable (X) and mathematics learning outcomes as the dependent variable (Y). The population of this study consists of 273 students, and the sample used in this research is 111 students obtained through cluster random sampling technique. Data collection is conducted using questionnaires and tests, and the data are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis methods. The analysis process involves testing the prerequisite assumptions, including normality and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing is performed using simple regression analysis. The simple regression analysis results show a calculated value of r = 0.673, while the tabulated value at a significance level of 5% is 0.195. It indicates that the calculated value of r (0.673) is greater than the tabulated value (0.195), indicating a significant positive correlation between the strengthening of character education based on Tri Hita Karana and the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.

The Impact of the Teaching at the Right Level Approach on Critical Reasoning in Mathematics Learning in Elementary Schools

Education in schools currently has problems, especially in terms of adjusting students' ability levels. A unified approach that needs to be applied to this condition is the Teaching at the Right Level approach. So teaching at the right level means teaching given to students according to their level of ability. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Teaching at the Right Level approach on critical reasoning abilities in mathematics lessons for fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research uses quasi-experimental research. This research design is a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was 180 students. The sample in this research consisted of 71 students. The sample selection in this study used a cluster random sampling technique. Data on students' critical reasoning abilities in mathematics lessons was collected using an essay test method which was then analyzed using the t-test. The results of data analysis obtained tcount= 9.87, while at a significance level of 5% and dk 69 it was obtained ttable= 1.995 so that tcount= 9.87 was greater than ttable= 1.995, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there were differences in the groups of students being studied. Through the Teaching at the Right Level Approach with groups of students who are not taught using the Teaching at the Right Level Approach in fourth grade elementary school students.

Science, Environment, Technology, and Society - Based Module to Improve Critical Thinking in Class IV Elementary School Learning

The low ability of Indonesian students is related to the learning process (especially science learning) which does not fully provide opportunities for students to develop critical reasoning abilities. This research aims to create a SETS-based module to improve students' critical thinking. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the development was carried out referring to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this study was fourth grade elementary school students. The subjects in this research were determined using a purposive sampling technique and obtained 24 students. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research results show that the module is in the very valid and practical category. Material experts received a score of 0.92, media experts 0.87, language experts 0.93 and pedagogy experts 0.93, overall, in the valid category. The results of the user response assessment from students were 96.4 and teacher practicality was 93.61, including the very practical category). Data uses N-Gain with a calculation result of 0.52. The conclusion shows that the SETS-based module developed is effective in improving elementary school students' critical thinking.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV melalui Model Contextual Teaching And Learning Berbantuan E-Modul Berbasis Budaya Pati

This study aims to examine the increase in knowledge learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students using the CTL model assisted by Pati culture-based e-modules. This type of research is a quantitative experiment, pre-experimental research design, pretest-posttest design model. Non-test and test data collection techniques. The data analysis technique uses the initial data analysis in the form of a normality test, while the final data analysis is in the form of quantitative descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of testing the n-gain hypothesis, it is proven that there is an increase in knowledge learning outcomes with the starch-based e-module assisted CTL model of 0.55 medium criterion interpretation. So it was concluded in this study that there had been an increase in the knowledge learning outcomes of class IV students with the CTL model assisted by e-module based on starch culture.

This study explores the emotions of elementary school students who participated in maker education. To this end, the photovoice research method was applied to a class of fourth-grade elementary school students who had undergone maker education. The specific research procedures proposed by Latz (2018) were followed, including eight steps—identification, invitation, education, documentation, narration, ideation, presentation, and confirmation. Data was collected through photos taken by students, photo-voice writing, and interviews and subsequently analyzed in three stages: coding, classification, and topic discovery.
 Data analysis revealed a wide range of emotions experienced by elementary school students, which include anticipation, tension, anger, fatigue, and satisfaction. Examining the meaning of each emotion in detail, anticipation is characterized as 'excitement about something unfamiliar', tension as 'vague fear of failure and injury', anger as 'internal attribution to injury or repeated failure', and fatigue as 'Encountering mental and physical limitations'. Furthermore, satisfaction emerged from the theme of 'the happiness that comes immediately after completing the work'.
 These findings not only serve a diagnostic purpose for an in-depth examination of the emotions experienced by elementary school students in maker education within everyday school spaces but also provide insights for its effective application to school education, particularly in the current scenario of growing global interest in maker education as an innovative educational method. The potential impacts of these findings are expected to extend to the realm of education policy formation.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF AMAZING NGANJUK ETHNOMATHEMATICS-BASED APPLICATION FOR THE PLANE SHAPE MATERIAL FOR GRADE IV OF ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

This research-and-development is motivated by the need for the use of culture-based learning media in the mathematics subject because, during learning, teachers often only focus on material without any integration with culture, and there is a lack of students’ knowledge of the culture that exists in Nganjuk Regency. The purpose of this research and development is to examine the ethnomathematics in the culture of Nganjuk and analyze the development and feasibility level of the ethnomathematics-based Amazing Nganjuk application for the plane shape material of grade IV in Islamic elementary schools. This study is of Research and Development (R&D) type that uses the Alessi and Trollip model of 3 stages, which include planning, design, and development. The product trial was carried out through the alpha test and beta test. The alpha test was conducted by media experts and material experts while the beta test was conducted by the fourth-grade students of Islamic Elementary School (IES) Khadijah Sukorejo Loceret Nganjuk. The result of this research and development was an ethnomathematics-based android application. The ethnomathematics elements found in this study were Jayastamba monument, wayang timplong, gamelan gender, and demung. The results of the media and material validation showed an average percentage of feasibility level of 96% and 93.75% with a very feasible category for use in the beta test. The beta test obtained an average percentage of 97% with the category indicating that the fourth-grade students strongly agreed with the use of the Amazing Nganjuk application to learn plane shapes. The application that the researchers have developed is deemed suitable for use as a learning medium, especially for the plane shape material.

Obesity Awareness Among Elementary School Students: A Controlled Before - After Study

Objective: Obesity is a metabolic disorder that occurs due to excessive body fat accumulation and can lead to physical and emotional problems. Preventing and treating obesity in childhood and adolescence is crucial. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of obesity awareness education provided to fourth-grade elementary school students. 
 Methods: An experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design was conducted. The study sample consisted of a total of 663 students, 344 students in the experimental group and 319 students in the control group, who attended the fourth grade of two elementary schools in Istanbul and met the inclusion criteria. 
 Results: The sample included 326 girls (49.2%) and 337 boys (50.8%). The mean (SD) BMI was 18.45 (3.49) in the experimental group and 18.04 (3.00) in the control group. 73% (n = 251) of the students in the experimental group and 77.7% (n = 248) of the students in the control group stated that obesity only made walking/running difficult. There was no difference in obesity awareness scores between the experimental and control groups before the education (p=0.92). However, at 1 week and 1 month after the education, the experimental group had significantly higher scores compared to the control group (p
