The Association Between the Location of Subarachnoid Hemorrhage and the Occurrence of Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.

Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TCM) is a syndrome characterized by transient regional cardiac dysfunction of the left ventricle. The goal of this review is to better understand the relationship between the anatomic locations of subarachnoid hemorrhages (SAHs) and the development of TCM as identified through a review of cohort studies. From inception to December 2023, we systematically explored major electronic medical information sources to identify cases of TCM that developed after SAHs. The six selected studies included in the meta-analysis suggest a modest but statistically significant increase in the odds of the events in the posterior circulation group compared to the anterior circulation group, with a combined odds ratio (OR) estimate of around 1.45-1.46. The fixed effect model gives an overall OR of 1.45 with a 95% confidence interval (CI) of 1.01 to 2.10, z = 2.01, p = 0.0442, while the random effects model yields a slightly higher OR of 1.46 with the same 95% CI, z = 2.03, p = 0.0425. There is a tendency for SAH occurrence in the posterior cerebral circulation to cause SAH-related TCM more frequently than in the anterior cerebral circulation.

SUITABILITY OF CONTEMPORARY PUBLIC LIBRARY SPACES TO USER NEEDS AND PURPOSES: A CASE STUDY OF ERZURUM

The library is a societal institution that hosts printed and electronic information sources and facilitates access to these resources when needed. One type of library, public libraries, is an important institution for the education and development of society. Public libraries serve as places where individuals, regardless of age and level, can benefit from library services free of charge, borrow and read books, as well as venues for various social and cultural activities such as conferences, exhibitions, and presentations. In this regard, why public libraries are generally preferred by users has been a subject of curiosity. The changing technology and lifestyle over time have also changed the purposes of library use and users' expectations from the library. The aim of this study is to determine the purposes of use of public libraries today by identifying the purposes of use of libraries. In this context, the "Erzurum Ismail Saib Sencer Provincial Public Library" and "Kazim Karabekir Public Library" in Yakutiye district of Erzurum were selected as the study area. Face-to-face survey was conducted with a total of 110 library users in two libraries, and 100 surveys were evaluated. The survey form was prepared with multiple-choice and Likert scale questions. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using the SPSS 23 program. Frequency, percentage distribution, and arithmetic mean values were used in the evaluation of the data. In light of the obtained data, the relationship between the areas occupied by library sections within the building and the purposes of use by the public was analyzed. As a result of the evaluation, recommendations were made on which areas of the library should be developed and in which areas the public should be directed more based on the needs of the users.

Problems of Scientometrics and its Suitability for Management Scientific Activity in Modern Russia

The purpose of the study is a critical analysis of the Russian practice of using the main indicators of sci entometrics in management activities at various levels. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to solve several problems, namely: to study the main scientometric parameters; determine the degree of accuracy and reliability of information indexed by the major bibliographic databases; to formulate a number of principles of management practice related to scientometrics; to identify and consider the shortcomings of management decisions recorded in regulatory documents; to develop recommendations aimed at resolving a number of problems related to the use of scientometric indicators. The research is based on both general scientific theoretical methods: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, systems approach, social modeling, comparative typological and comparative analytical methods, and practical methods: working with documents, analysis of printed and electronic sources of information, content analysis and bibliographic combination of documents. In the course of the work, it was revealed that scientometrics in its applied version still clearly lacks reliability both due to imperfections associated with both its main indicators in all databases and with the indexing of publications in them, as well as due to management miscalculations reflected in regulations. In particular, in the light of the current political events caused by the special military operation in Ukraine, and in connection with difficult access to Western bibliographic data bases, the problem of a radical reorganization of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) and the transition to a new system of scientometric indicators clearly arises. The data and recommendations obtained as a result of the study will help management structures avoid obvious omissions and errors in planning and monitoring the scientific activities of university and academic research institute staff, as well as optimize scientometric reporting.

The Impact of Parental Electronic Health Literacy on Disease Management and Outcomes in Pediatric Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus: Cross-Sectional Clinical Study.

Despite the growing uptake of smart technologies in pediatric type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) care, little is known about caregiving parents' skills to deal with electronic health information sources. We aimed to assess the electronic health literacy of parents caring for children with T1DM and investigate its associations with disease management and children's outcomes. A cross-sectional survey was performed involving 150 parent-child (8-14 years old with T1DM) dyads in a university pediatric diabetology center. Parents' electronic health literacy (eHealth Literacy Scale [eHEALS]), general health literacy (Chew questionnaire and Newest Vital Sign [NVS]), and attitudes toward T1DM care (Parental Self-Efficacy Scale for Diabetes Management [PSESDM] and Hypoglycemia Fear Survey [HFS]) were investigated. Children's treatment, HbA1c level, and quality of life (Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory Diabetes Module [PedsQL Diab] and EQ-5D-Y-3L) were assessed. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to investigate the determining factors of 6-month average HbA1c. Of the 150 children, 38 (25.3%) used a pen, 55 (36.7%) used a pen plus a sensor, 6 (4.0%) used an insulin pump, and 51 (34.0%) used an insulin pump plus a sensor. Parents' average eHEALS score (mean 31.2, SD 4.9) differed significantly by educational level (P=.04) and the children's treatment (P=.005), being the highest in the pump + sensor subgroup. The eHEALS score showed significant Pearson correlations with the Chew score (r=-0.45; P<.001), NVS score (r=0.25; P=.002), and PSESDM score (r=0.35; P<.001) but not with the children's HbA1c (r=-0.143; P=.08), PedsQL Diab (r=-0.0002; P>.99), and EQ-5D-Y-3L outcomes (r=-0.13; P=.12). Regression analysis revealed significant associations of the child's HbA1c level with sex (β=0.58; P=.008), treatment modality (pen + sensor: β=-0.66; P=.03; pump + sensor: β=-0.93; P=.007), and parents' self-efficacy (PSESDM; β=-0.08; P=.001). Significantly higher parental electronic health literacy was found in T1DM children using a glucose sensor. The electronic health literacy level was associated with parents' diabetes management attitude but not with the child's glycemic control. Studies further investigating the role of parental electronic health literacy in T1DM children managed at different levels of care and the local context are encouraged.

Blended learning v českém vysokoškolském prostředí po pandemii Covid-19

Účel – Článek je výzkumnou studií věnující se výsledkům výzkumu týkající se způsobu využití blended learningu v českém vysokoškolském prostředí, a to nejen co se týká výuky samotné, ale i podpůrných služeb a aplikací ve vztahu k blended learningu mj. ve fakultních a univerzitních knihovnách. Proběhlá pandemie koronaviru a s ní spojená omezení naznačily, že blended learning lze použít jako formu univerzitního vzdělávání. Design / metodologie / přístup – Za účelem zmapování využití a podpory blended learningu na českých univerzitách a v příslušných knihovnách bylo v druhé polovině roku 2022 realizováno kvantitativní online dotazníkové šetření (CAWI), do kterého se zapojili studenti (N = 4715), akademici (N = 1424) a knihovny z dvaceti českých vysokých škol a odborných pracovišť (N = 56). Výsledky – Více než polovina studentů českých univerzit stále preferuje prezenční formu studia, další třetina však upřednostňuje studium kombinovanou formou (kombinaci prezenčního studia a studia v jiné formě). Většina akademiků je přesvědčena, že online výuka nemůže zcela nahradit klasickou prezenční výuku, kterou však po zkušenostech z koronavirové pandemie obohacují o jiné doplňkové formy. Studenti i akademici též ve velké míře preferují elektronické informační zdroje pro studium i výzkum. Co se týče zapojených knihoven, nabízejí jak podporu blended learningu, tak kurzy přímo postavené na jeho využívání. Limitací pro další rozvoj je především nedostatek prostor, které by mohly být k blended learningu využívány. Individuální studovny či místnosti, které jsou vhodné pro sledování online výuky, ale i odpočinkové zóny pro studenty a také prostory pro týmovou práci by využití blended learningu na českých univerzitách dle většiny respondentů významně zjednodušilo a zpříjemnilo. Originalita / hodnota – Příspěvek shrnuje způsob využití blended learningu v českém vysokoškolském prostředí, přičemž potvrzuje význam výuky formou blended learningu. Upozorňuje taktéž na možné překážky a limity bránící dosažení plného potenciálu této formy vzdělávání na tuzemských univerzitách.

Circus Arts in Content Service Systems

The aim of this paper is to identify scientific content and compilations related to circus arts available in subscription databases and in renowned and free academic information systems. After providing terminological definitions for circus and circus arts, the article describes the search strategies applied and the issues which emerged during the searches, and then introduces quantitative results, thereby also identifying the major periodicals and the most often referenced articles of the topic. The analysis provides useful input for representatives of other arts related to circus arts (e.g., performing arts, theatre arts, visual arts, musical arts) and of other academic fields (e.g., literary studies, history, media science); but first of all, it serves as an unparalleled library information service guide for navigating between electronic information sources.

The Problem of Choosing Life Paths by Youth in Russian Regions (Based on Field Research at VSTU)

The life path of a modern young person is significantly influenced by the level of development of information technologies, that are transforming all spheres of human activity. This imparts special significance to the context of understanding the challenges faced by youth when choosing their trajectories for entering the adult world and their future professional endeavours. Globalisation issues leave an imprint on systemic transformations within Russian society, significantly complicating the decision-making process for young people regarding their own futures and the future of the country. This notably &amp;amp;quot;adjusts&amp;amp;quot; traditions, shifts value priorities, including those related to pursuing higher education. This research analyses the motives behind the choice of life path by university applicants within the higher education system, based on their perceptions of their future and the realities of contemporary socio-cultural and economic situations in Russia. Through the examination of new data, the study investigates the strategies for implementing life patterns chosen by university applicants, their alignment with individual life plans, and the actual mechanisms of their realisation and legitimisation.&#x0D; The relationship has been examined between the choice of one's future professional path and the university that, according to applicants, can provide a solid foundation for their future careers. Today, the selection of an educational institution is not only an important but also a complex issue for applicants and their families. Therefore, one of the research objectives was to identify significant characteristics of universities themselves and socio-economic factors influencing the choice of future study location by applicants, as well as the basic patterns in selecting future professions.&#x0D; The research results confirmed that the majority of university audiences are currently filled with representatives of Generation Z, whose level of trust in electronic sources of information is higher than that in traditional sources, including age-old advice from parents and close relatives. Overall, the hypothesis of the enduring value of higher education for the majority of former applicants who have already become students was confirmed. This research also demonstrated a clear manifestation of consumer behaviour and paternalism in their professional lives, an orientation toward high living standards, and social status.

The methodology of the development of original medicines based on the medicinal plant raw material for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases

According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the number of patients with IBD in Ukraine is approximately 30,000 people per 100,000 population, half of which have a medium or severe degree of damage.&#x0D; Over the past 5 years, there has been a trend towards an increase in the number of severe cases and treatment-resistant forms of chronic intestinal diseases of an inflammatory nature, which often requires surgical intervention or causes the development of complications, which, in turn, can lead to invalidation of patients and, as a result, causes significant economic costs, related to their care, treatment and rehabilitation. The most common are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.&#x0D; The prevalence of ulcerative colitis (UC) in the population ranges from 21 to 268 cases per 100,000 people. The social significance of UC lies in the fact that the incidence is predominant among young people. Thus, statistical data show that the peak incidence of UC occurs at the age of 20–30 years. In the absence of appropriate therapy, the course of UC is recurrent and remitting.&#x0D; In the process of work, the methods of analysis of electronic and paper sources of information were used, on providing the domestic pharmaceutical market with drugs for the treatment of IBD, their directions and mechanism of action, the possibility of using in the therapy of diseases with herbal medicines containing BAS, that affect various links of the pathogenetic process, the possibility of combining it with synthetic API in order to increase the effectiveness of treatment.&#x0D; The algorithm of the methodology consists of three blocks: information and search, research and biological. Each block, which ends with obtaining an intermediate result, ensures the setting of the task for the next stage of the research.

FTP7.10 Preoperative C-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio and its ability to predict outcomes of pancreatic cancer resection: a systematic review

Abstract Aim To evaluate the ability of c-reactive protein-to-albumin ratio (CAR) in predicting outcomes in patients undergoing pancreatic cancer resection. Methods We conducted a systematic search of multiple electronic information sources and bibliographic reference lists. We applied a combination of free text and controlled vocabulary search adapted to thesaurus headings, search operators and limits in each of the above databases. Survival outcomes and perioperative morbidity were the evaluated outcome parameters. Results Eight observational studies reporting a total number of 1,056 patients undergoing pancreatic cancer resection were identified. The median cut-off value for CAR was 0.05 (range 0.0003- 0.54). Using multivariate analysis, all the included studies demonstrated that a higher CAR value was an independent and significant predictor of poor overall survival in patients undergoing pancreatic cancer resection. The estimated hazard ratio provided by the included studies ranged from 1.4 to 3.6. There was significant heterogeneity among the included studies; for example use of neoadjuvant or adjuvant chemotherapy, pTNM staging, lymph node metastasis, preoperative Ca19-9 and CEA levels, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, and modified Glasgow prognostic score. Furthermore, important prognostic characteristics such as tumour site and size, pathological T factor, and vascular involvement were poorly reported. Conclusions Preoperative CAR value seems to be an important prognostic score in predicting survival outcomes in patients undergoing pancreatic cancer resection. However, the current evidence does not allow determination of an optimal cut-off value for CAR considering the heterogeneous reporting of cut-off values by the available studies and lack of knowledge of their sensitivity and specificity. Future research is required.

SP5.3 The risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma in relation to the severity of liver injury: A meta-analysis and meta-regression analysis

Abstract Aims To determine the risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma in relation to the severity of liver injury. Methods We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis in compliance with PRISMA statement standards. A search of electronic information sources was conducted to identify all studies reporting the risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma. The JBI assessment tool was used to assess the risk of bias of the included studies. Random-effects models were applied to calculate pooled outcome data. Results A total of 2030 patients from six studies were included. Based on the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma classification system, 21% had grade I injury; 33% grade II injury; 28% grade III injury; 12% grade IV injury; 5% grade V injury. The pooled risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm was 1.8% (95% CI 1.1-2.5%). The risk was 0.4% (0-1.2%) in patients with grade I injury, 0.7% (0-1.7%) in patients with grade II injury; 1.5% (0.4-2.7%) in patients with grade III injury; 4.6% (1.4-7.7%) in patients with grade IV injury; 10.6% (1.8-22.9%) in patients with grade V injury. The average time between liver injury and detection of hepatic pseudoaneurysm was 6 days (1-10). Conclusions The risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma increases as the severity of liver injury increases. Hepatic pseudoaneurysms are rare after grade I or grade II injuries, and increasingly common after grades III, IV and V injuries. We do not hesitate to recommend routine surveillance imaging in patients with grade III to V injuries.

Do painters need physics?

Article presents the possibilities of using the painting in physics education in the context of acquisition by students the ‘Learning to learn’ competence. Analysis of the works of 13 painters gave us the opportunity to formulate interesting research problems in physics. Examples of 18 problems and answers to them have been suggested. In the process of solving problems, students learn to work independently with printed and electronic sources of information, and also learn to independently conduct experiments and observations. The independent research activity of students involves searching of relevant information sources, collection and analysis of information, putting forward and testing a hypothesis, and formulation of conclusions. These valuable critical skills are components of ‘Learning to learn’ competence.

There was significant between-study heterogeneity. Preoperative CAR value seems to be an important prognostic score in predicting survival outcomes in patients undergoing pancreatic cancer resection. However, the current evidence does not allow the determination of an optimal cut-off value for CAR, considering the heterogeneous reporting of cut-off values by the available studies and the lack of knowledge of their sensitivity and specificity. Future research is required.

PENGARUH E-RESOURCES TERHADAP PRESTASI AKADEMIK YANG DIMEDIASI OLEH PERCEIVED USEFULNESS

Academic achievement directly or indirectly (through perceived usefulness mediation). influenced by the availability of electronic information sources (e-resources). This study aims to determine the significant value of probability: (1) The effect of electronic information sources (e-resources) on perceived usefulness: (2) The effect of perceived usefulness on academic achievement and (3) The direct or indirect influence of electronic information sources (e-resources) ) library on academic achievement. Furthermore, the results of this study are expected to be used as a recommendation material for conceptual formulation in improving student academic achievement through electronic information sources (e-resources) and perceived usefulness. This quantitative research consists of three variables including: electronic information sources (e-resources) as the independent variable, academic achievement as the dependent variable and functioning as an intervening variable, namely perceived usefulness. 100 samples of data were taken by probability from a population of 134. The data analysis used included the classic assumption test, the t hypothesis test and the Determinant (R2) test through path analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) Electronic information sources (e-resources) have a significant effect on perceived usefulness) as indicated by the probability p-value of 0.000 with a t-value of 6,757 which is less than 0.05 (p-value = 0.000 &lt; 0.05); (2) Perceived usefulness has a significant effect on academic achievement with a t-value of 4,579 and a probability of less than 0.05 (p-value = 0.000 &lt;0.05); (3) So directly electronic information sources (e-resources) have a significant effect on academic achievement by 24.2%. with a p-value probability of 0.000 with a t-count value of 6,757 less than 0.05 (p-value = 0.000 &lt;0.05) Likewise, indirectly (through perceived usefulness mediation) a significant effect on academic achievement is shown with a t value of 3.78294426 with a std error of 0.0812436 and a significant probability value of 0.00015498 p-value of 30.734%.

The risk of recurrent pancreatitis after first episode of acute pancreatitis in relation to etiology and severity of disease: A systematic review, meta-analysis and meta-regression analysis.

The study aims to determine and quantify the stratified risk of recurrent pancreatitis (RP) after the first episode of acute pancreatitis in relation to etiology and severity of disease. A systematic review and meta-analysis in compliance with PRISMA statement standards was conducted. A search of electronic information sources was conducted to identify all studies investigating the risk of RP after the first episode of acute pancreatitis. Proportion meta-analysis models using random effects were constructed to calculate the weighted summary risks of RP. Meta-regression was performed to evaluate the effect of different variables on the pooled outcomes. Analysis of 57,815 patients from 42 studies showed that the risk of RP after first episode was 19.8% (95% confidence interval [CI] 17.5-22.1%). The risk of RP was 11.9% (10.2-13.5%) after gallstone pancreatitis, 28.7% (23.5-33.9%) after alcohol-induced pancreatitis, 30.3% (15.5-45.0%) after hyperlipidemia-induced pancreatitis, 38.1% (28.9-47.3%) after autoimmune pancreatitis, 15.1% (11.6-18.6%) after idiopathic pancreatitis, 22.0% (16.9-27.1%) after mild pancreatitis, 23.9% (12.9-34.8%) after moderate pancreatitis, 21.6% (14.6-28.7%) after severe pancreatitis, and 6.6% (4.1-9.2%) after cholecystectomy following gallstone pancreatitis. Meta-regression confirmed that the results were not affected by the year of study (P=0.541), sample size (P=0.064), length of follow-up (P=0.348), and age of patients (P=0.138) in the included studies. The risk of RP after the first episode of acute pancreatitis seems to be affected by the etiology of pancreatitis but not the severity of disease. The risks seem to be higher in patients with autoimmune pancreatitis, hyperlipidemia-induced pancreatitis, and alcohol-induced pancreatitis and lower in patients with gallstone pancreatitis and idiopathic pancreatitis.

Rate and determinants of antiviral treatment initiation for patients with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B.

Most clinic attenders with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) are serum HBeAg-negative, and a minority will require suppressive antiviral treatment. Expert guidelines propose schedules for the monitoring of untreated patients, but the recommended frequency of patient review does not reflect recognised demographic determinants of HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis. Also, the impact of patient ethnicity on risk has not been defined. The aim of our study was to determine the rates and determinants of antiviral treatment initiation in a large multi-ethnic cohort of CHB patients attending a single centre. We undertook a retrospective study using entirely electronic sources of patient information. Treatment initiation dates were identified from electronic pharmacy records. Crude and time-dependent statistical analyses were undertaken to identify rate and risk factors for treatment initiation. Treatment was initiated for 232/1256 (18.5%) patients with rates of 23.2% and 33.2% at 5 and 10 years. An increased risk of treatment was associated with male sex (RR 1.803), older age at presentation (RR 1.027 per year increase) and with non-Black ethnicity (RR 1.654). Patient sex, baseline age and ethnicity also determined risk for treatment in the subset of patients with normal serum ALT and low HBV DNA at baseline, though overall treatment rate in this group was low (only 2% per annum). Thus, patient demographics permit risk stratification for treatment initiation and could determine to a significant extent the frequency of review required for untreated HBeAg-negative patients. Black ethnicity is associated with a significant reduction in risk of treatment initiation.

Research of the domestic market of drugs for the treatment of HIV infection

The aim of the research is to study the domestic market of medicines for the treatment of HIV infection to optimize the drug supply of the target group of patients. Materials and methods. Electronic sources of information (State Register of Medicines of Ukraine, Compendium-online, Tabletki.ua) were used to achieve the goal. System-analytical, mathematical-statistical, and comparative methods of analysis were used. Results. The study of the assortment of drugs for the treatment of HIV infection showed the heterogeneity of the specified segment of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine: there are solid and liquid dosage forms, both original and generic. The analysis of the company structure made it possible to establish that the national market of drugs for the treatment of HIV infection was dominated by foreign manu­facturers (95.93 %), the largest share of which was pharmaceutical companies from India (67.07 %). The competitiveness of pharmaceutical firms supplying drugs for the treatment of HIV infection was studied. It was established that the firm Janssen-Silag S.p.A., Italy, occupied the most stable position in the studied market segment. A qualitative analysis of the mentioned medicines was carried out. The most effective and rational of them were determined. Conclusions. A study of the domestic market of drugs for the treatment of HIV infection was conducted. The assortment and brand structure of this market segment was determined. The level of competitiveness of the above-mentioned pharmaceutical companies were analyzed, and the most successful of them were identified. At the same time, it was established that domestic pharmaceutical companies supply only 4.07 % of drugs of two out of five groups according to the ATS classification to this segment of the market. In connection with this, the development of new drugs of the specified action and the development of their production in Ukraine is important.

EHealth literacy and its associated factors in Ethiopia: Systematic review and meta-analysis.

Electronic health has the potential benefit to the health system by improving health service quality efficiency effectiveness and reducing the cost of care. Having good e-health literacy level is considered essential for improving healthcare delivery and quality of care as well as empowers caregivers and patients to influence control care decisions. Many studies have done on eHealth literacy and its determinants among adults, however, inconsistent findings from those studies were found. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the pooled magnitude of eHealth literacy and to identify associated factors among adults in Ethiopia through systematic review and meta-analysis. Search of PubMed, Scopus, and web of science, and Google Scholar was conducted to find out relevant articles published from January 2028 to 2022. The Newcastle-Ottawa scale tool was used to assess the quality of included studies. Two reviewers extracted the data independently by using standard extraction formats and exported in to Stata version11 for meta-analysis. The degree of heterogeneity between studies was measured using I2 statistics. The publication bias between studies also checked by using egger test. The pooled magnitude of eHealth literacy was performed using fixed effect model. After go through 138 studies, five studies with total participants of 1758 were included in this systematic review and Meta-analysis. The pooled estimate of eHealth literacy in Ethiopia was found 59.39% (95%CI: 47.10-71.68). Perceived usefulness (AOR = 2.46; 95% CI: 1.36, 3.12),educational status(AOR = 2.28; 95% CI: 1.11, 4.68), internet access (AOR = 2.35; 95% CI: 1.67, 3.30), knowledge on electronic health information sources(AOR = 2.60; 95% CI: 1.78, 3.78), electronic health information sources utilization (AOR = 2.55; 95%CI: 1.85, 3.52), gender (AOR = 1.82; 95% CI: 1.38, 2.41) were identified significant predictors of e-health literacy. This systematic review and meta-analysis found that more than half of study participants were eHealth literate. This finding recommends that creating awareness about importance of eHealth usefulness and capacity building to enhance and encouraging to use electronic sources and availability of internet has para amount to solution to increase eHealth literacy level of study participants.

The risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma in relation to the severity of liver injury: a meta-analysis and meta-regression analysis.

To determine the risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma in relation to the severity of liver injury. We performed a systematic review and meta-analysis in compliance with PRISMA statement standards (Registration Number: CRD42022328834). A search of electronic information sources was conducted to identify all studies reporting the risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma. The JBI assessment tool was used to assess the risk of bias of the included studies. Random-effects models were applied to calculate pooled outcome data. A total of 2030 patients from six studies were included. Based on the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma classification system, 21% had grade I injury; 33% grade II injury; 28% grade III injury; 12% grade IV injury and 5% grade V injury. The pooled risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm was 1.8% (95% CI 1.1-2.5%). The risk was 0.4% (0-1.2%) in patients with grade I injury, 0.7% (0-1.7%) in patients with grade II injury; 1.5% (0.4-2.7%) in patients with grade III injury; 4.6% (1.4-7.7%) in patients with grade IV injury and 10.6% (1.8-22.9%) in patients with grade V injury. The average time between liver injury and detection of hepatic pseudoaneurysm was 6 days(95% CI 1-10) CONCLUSIONS: The risk of hepatic pseudoaneurysm after liver trauma increases as the severity of liver injury increases. Hepatic pseudoaneurysms are rare after grade I or grade II injuries, and increasingly common after grades III, IV and V injuries. We recommend routine surveillance imaging in patients with grade III to V injuries.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Shaheen: a Bibliometric Study of Intellectual Output

The study seeks to monitor and analyze the features or characteristics of the intellectual output of Dr. Sherif Shaheen using the bibliometric approach. Sherif Shaheen prepared 142 items issued from 1989 to 2022 and while his intellectual output increased over time, it peaked in the second decade of the twenty-first century (2010-2019).. The intellectual work was split roughly evenly between conferences studies (42.96%), periodical articles (38.03%), books (14.08%), and chapters or parts of books (4.93%), with 93% of it being written in Arabic and only 7% in English. The intellectual output was published in 13 countries, Egypt ranked first with a rate of 55.6%. The intellectual reading of the intellectual output indicates that the focus of his interest in his intellectual output is technology and the influences that surround, particularly with regard to electronic information sources, dealing with information activities from technological activities from a technological angle, and interest in the knowledge integration of intellectual heritage institutions.
