As an essential foundation of social equity, educational equity has increasingly become a concern for the people. To make education more accessible to the people based on the current state of educational development in China, it is necessary to address the difference between urban-rural educational disparities. Yuyao located in the southeastern coastal region of China, exhibits disparities in education between urban and rural areas, manifested as imbalances in the educational process influenced by non-fundamental educational resources. This paper conducts a study on an urban school and a rural school in Yuyao through interview surveys, analyzing the differences in hardware conditions and soft power between the two schools, and proposing suggestions for the future development of rural schools based on actual conditions.
