INSUBORDINAÇÕES CRÍTICAS DA INTELECTUALIDADE NEGRA BRASILEIRA: UM OLHAR A PARTIR DA ATUAÇÃO DO NEABI/CPII

ABSTRACT: From a black decolonial perspective (GOMES, 2020), this article aims to discuss the paths taken by the Center for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies of the Colégio Pedro II (NEABI/CPII), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the (re)production of emancipatory and anti-racist practices and knowledge. In methodological terms, the research was structured based on the narratives of four black intellectuals committed to anti-racist education, who actively participated in the creation process of the NEABI/CPII, in 2013, and who had a recognized role in the constitution of practices based on (re)education for ethnic-racial relations and the fight against racism. In summary, we observed that the black intelligentsia underlying the group establishes a position of insubordination in relation to typical coloniality practices in the (re)production of knowledge, with actions that unfold into four dimensions: political-institutional, political-epistemological, political-identity and political-pedagogical. We understand that these dimensions, which are articulated with each other, are crucial for the constitution of educational spaces that are more democratic, racially diverse and politically positioned in the fight against inequalities

Curriculum theories in articles on Biology and Youth and Adult Education in Brazil

Youth and Adult Education (YAE) is a modality of basic education that serves a public with different gaps in access and permanence in school. In this sense, this work aimed to analyze the explicit and implicit Curriculum Theories on the Biology component in YAE. For that, 32 articles from the last 15 years were analyzed. Theoretically grounded, the findings were grouped according to Traditional, Critical, and Post-Critical Curriculum Theories, a total of ten, eight, and 14 works, respectively. The Traditional ones are teacher-centered and retain an emphasis on concepts and assessments. Students' manifestations are clues for the configuration of Critical and Post-Critical curricula. In this curriculum construction, the students' experiences are validated. Emotions, expectations for life projects, culture, education for ethnic-racial relations, gender and sexualities, and ethno-knowledge are present. It is within this plurality that Biology Curricula in YAE need to engage.

Education for ethnic-racial relations in Brazilian physical education: reflections on schooling and silencing

ABSTRACT This study's objective is to present some reflections on Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER, acronym in Portuguese) and its link with Physical Education in Brazil, considering that Brazilian Physical Education has been greatly influenced by curriculum from both Europe and the United States during most of the twentieth century. To this end, we have used bibliographic research as a tool. Physical Education, as a curricular component of Brazilian basic education, was linked to the interests of medical and military institutions that defined its space and area of knowledge for a prolonged period. In this context, its actions envisioned forming and maintaining disciplined, strong and healthy bodies, created on precepts like, for example, eugenics. In this type of intervention, Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous manifestations became invisible and were marginalized and oppressed in favor of reproducing Eurocentric models of corporal expression. In light of this, we argue in support of a Physical Education curriculum based on knowledge originating in the different cultural matrixes of the peoples making up Brazil's populace, above all those who historically have been silenced and who have played a role in shaping our identity.

A Educação escolar quilombola e o ensino de Ciências: reflexões teóricas a partir de um relato de experiência

O presente trabalho visa contribuir para propostas de construção de um currículo de ciências em diálogo com as práticas quilombolas, a partir da discussão teórica sobre a potencialidade da perspectiva freireana em realidades quilombolas. Iniciamos o trabalho com um breve resgate histórico relacionando a educação do campo, educação para relações étnico-raciais e educação escolar quilombola. Na sequência, explicitamos nosso entendimento sobre a perspectiva freireana e o contexto quilombola no ensino de ciências. A partir disso relatamos, discutimos e propomos perspectivas sobre o levantamento da realidade para a construção de práticas de ciências no contexto quilombola, a partir da experimentação de sabão, goma e queijo. Por último, tecemos as considerações finais sobre os desafios de se integrar o ensino de ciências à educação quilombola.

 The quilombola school education and the Science education: theoretical considerations about one experience
 ABSTRACT. This article aims to contribute to the construction of a science curriculum those dialogues with quilombola practices. For this, we assume a Freirean perspective in our proposal and analysis. At first, we relate rural education, education for ethnic-racial relations and quilombola school education in a brief contextualization. Next, we explain our reading of the Freirean perspective and the quilombola context in science education. Then, we report, discuss and propose perspectives for the construction of science practices in dialogue with quilombola realities, based on a case of experiments using processes related to soap, cassava gum and cheese. Finally, we consider some challenges of integrating science education with quilombola education.

 Educación escolar quilombola y educación científica: Reflexiones teóricas a partir de una experiencia
 RESUMEN. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo contribuir con propuestas para la construcción de un plan de estudios científico en diálogo con las prácticas quilombolas, a partir de la discusión teórica sobre las potencialidades de la perspectiva freireana en realidades quilombolas. Iniciamos el trabajo con una breve reseña histórica que relaciona la educación rural, la educación sobre relaciones étnico-raciales y la educación escolar quilombola. Seguidamente, explicamos nuestra comprensión de la perspectiva freireana y la educación científica en el contexto quilombola. A partir de ello relatamos, discutimos y proponemos perspectivas sobre el análisis de la realidad para la construcción de prácticas científicas en diálogo con las realidades quilombolas, a partir de experimentos relacionados con el jabón, la goma de yuca y el queso. Finalmente, llegamos a conclusiones sobre los desafíos de integrar la educación científica a la educación quilombola.

EDUCAÇÃO PARA AS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS: UM ENSAIO SOBRE ALTERIDADES SUBALTERNIZADAS NAS CIÊNCIAS FÍSICAS

ABSTRACT: One of the great challenges of anti-racist education in Brazil is to design and implement it in areas that are outside of the ethnic-racial discussion. This essay offers critical reflections on how education for ethnic-racial relations can help to problematize the notions of development and progress (linked to the modern scientific episteme) in science classrooms through the analysis of cases of political-territorial conflicts that involve traditional communities and State-owned enterprises. We discuss striking cases of ethnic-racial conflicts in Brazil and the United States relating to the installation of observatories, a hydroelectric power plant, and a rocket launching base, interpreted as elements of development in the context of the Modern and Contemporary Science Project, but which, alternatively, revive the tensions between Tradition and Scientific Reason. We argue from a historical, philosophical, and epistemological point of view, seeking to substantiate and encourage the discussion and implementation of Laws 10.639, 11.645 and the National Curriculum Guidelines for Quilombola School Education in basic and higher education science.

O LUGAR DA EDUCAÇÃO DAS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS NOS PROJETOS POLITICO-PEDAGÓGICOS DE DUAS ESCOLAS PARAENSES

O objetivo deste artigo, é analisar o lugar da Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais (ERER) nos Projetos Político-Pedagógicos (PPPs) de duas escolas paraenses, com base em seus documentos escolares, PPPs e do Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI) de uma delas. Recorremos a Bardin (2016) para a categorização dessa empiria. Acionamos Veiga (2003) para a ponderação sobre Projeto Político-Pedagógico; e sua implementação em Gomes (2012). Para a ERER e a escola, recorremos a Coelho e Coelho (2013, 2018). Concluímos que o trabalho realizado por ambas as escolas possibilita, ainda que de forma pontual, uma discussão junto aos discentes, com vistas à problematização da identidade, racismo e discriminação, embora não reflita a institucionalidade e a implementação da ERER nos documentos escolares.

“Bonjour, comment ça va?”: uma experiência docente com crianças imigrantes senegalesas

Este texto apresenta reflexões acerca da produção de sentidos das experiências da migração contemporânea no contexto da educação. Trata-se de uma experiência docente e análise das interfaces das diferenças socioculturais e práticas educativas vivenciadas por crianças senegalesas junto às crianças brasileiras, no contexto dos anos iniciais da escola pública municipal da cidade de São Paulo – Brasil. Nesse quadro, a migração e as infâncias são potencializadores na discussão a respeito da educação das relações étnico-raciais e em direitos humanos, construídas no cotidiano das instituições educativas.

CERVEJA EGÍPCIA? EDUCAÇÃO PARA AS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS (ERER) NA FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE EM QUÍMICA

EGYPTIAN BEER? EDUCATION FOR ETHNIC-RACIAL RELATIONS (ERER) IN TEACHER FORMATION IN CHEMISTRY. This work was carried out in a Higher Education Institution (IES), in the State of Goiás, in the Chemistry Degree course, aiming at the implementation of Law 10639/03. The context discussed herein is the chemical knowledge of African and diasporic matrices from Ancient Egypt in the development and production of beer. In order to subsidize teachers in initial formation with strategies in the classroom for an anti-racist education, taking into account the contribution of African people in the constitution of the country. It is an action research and its development happened through a Pedagogical Intervention (IP) with the theme: Ancient Egypt, Beer and Chemistry. The results were collected through audio recording and analyzed using the Conversation Analysis technique. Our results have shown that it is possible to talk about African history and culture, in a chemistry class in the initial chemistry teacher training course, making an epistemic shift in the curriculum, taking previously silenced knowledge to school, such as the history and culture of African peoples.

The article aims to reflect on the racial ethnic discussion in the curricular contents of higher education, with a focus on the Biology course. This cut is due to the opportunity for one of the authors to exercise the position of monitor in a discipline that reflects and discusses about education for ethnic-racial relations "and as a student in the Biological Sciences course, empathy was immediate, as well as awareness of the gap of these contents in the pedagogical way of questioning the place that this discussion occupies in everyday school life. In higher education, the ethnic-racial issue is usually dealt with in courses linked to the areas of the so-called humanities, more precisely to the courses of Arts, Pedagogy, History and Social Sciences, which present subjects directly or indirectly linked to some of the guidelines provided for in the law. 10.639/03. Aiming to contextualize and signal the importance of racial ethnicity in higher education and with the cut in Science and Biology classes, we seek to emphasize the importance of discussing the theme of racial ethnic relations, as a proposal to combat racism, valuing diversity and the difference, as elements of sustainability of a democratic society. Quando rezo é canto, quando canto é rezo: trajetória educativa de um Coletivo de Cantantes e Brincantes na Educação do Campo Kilombola

Este artigo apresenta a descrição e análise de uma pesquisa cartográfica de construção de um cancioneiro de rezos entoados no terreiro em louvação aos Orixás. A cartografia (Deleuze & Guatari, 1995) é uma "pesquisa-intervenção" (Kastrup et al., 2015) que nos permitiu organizar coletivamente o cancioneiro da pesquisa Quando rezo é canto, quando canto é rezo como um mapa - ainda parcial - das manifestações culturais que ocorrem na Comunidade Kilombola Morada da Paz, ao mesmo tempo que nos permitiu um aprofundamento na Música Popular Brasileira para conhecer cantos que têm como tema a louvação aos Orixás. Como resultado desta pesquisa, além de um Cancioneiro que foi apresentado em diferentes espaços educativos durante três anos, organizamos oficinas com temas relacionados à Educação para as Relações Étnicos-Raciais, Educação do Campo e Educação Quilombola. Relacionamos esses conteúdos a uma proposta de Educação do Campo Kilombola, a partir da articulação da Pedagogia do Movimento Sem Terra (Caldart, 2000) às Diretrizes da Educação Quilombola, Educação para as Relações Étnicas-Raciais e Pedagogia do Encantamento.

 When pray is singing, when singing is pray: educational trajectory of a Collective of Singing and Playing in the Kilombola Rural Education 
 ABSTRACT. This article presents the description and analysis of a cartographic research for the construction of a prayer song sung in the terreiro in praise of the Orixás. The cartography (Deleuze & Guatari, 1995) is an “intervention-research” (Kastrup et al, 2015) that allowed us to collectively organize the research songbook When pray is singing, when singing is pray as a map, though partial, of cultural events taking place in the Kilombola community Morada da Paz, at the same time that it allowed us to deepen in the popular Brazilian music to get to know songs that have as their theme the praise of the Orixás. As a result of this research, in addition of a cancioneiro that was presented in different educational spaces for three years, we organized workshops with themes related to education for ethnic-racial relations, rural education and Kilombola education. We relate these contents to a proposal for education in the Kilombola field, based on the articulation of the pedagogy of the landless movement (Caldart, 2000) to the Kilombola education guidelines, education for ethnic-racial relations and enchantment pedagogy.

 RESUMEN. Este artículo presenta la descripción y el análisis de una investigación cartográfica para la construcción de un cancionero de rezas entoadas en el terreiro en alabanza a los Orixás. La cartografía (Deleuze & Guatari, 1995) es una "investigación de intervención" (Kastrup et al, 2015) que nos permitió organizar colectivamente el cancionero de la investigación Cuando rezo es cantar, cuando cantar es rezar como un mapa - aún parcial - de las manifestaciones eventos culturales que tienen lugar en la Comunidad Kilombola Morada da Paz, al mismo tiempo que nos permitió profundizar en la Música Popular Brasileña para conocer canciones que tienen como tema el elogio de los Orixás. Como resultado de esta investigación, además de un Cancioneiro que se presentó en diferentes espacios educativos durante tres años, organizamos talleres con temas relacionados con Educación para las Relaciones Étnico-Raciales, Educación Rural y Educación Quilombola. Relacionamos estos contenidos con una propuesta de Educación en Campo Kilombola, basada en la articulación de la Pedagogía del Movimiento Sin Tierra (Caldart, 2000) a las Directrices de Educación Quilombola, Educación para las Relaciones Étnico-Raciales y Pedagogía del Encantamiento.

LEITURA DELEITE, EDUCAÇÃO DAS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS NOS ANOS INICIAIS DURANTE O ENSINO REMOTO

This article is the result of a didactic sequence carried out, in June and July 2020, during the activities of remote education, in a elementary school , resulting from the partnership between a 3rd year teacher and the school coordinator using the book "Cada um com seu jeito, cada  jeito é de um".  This study aimed to introduce knowledge about the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture through reading delight. For the development of this sequence, the strategies adopted were: reading delight, sets of conversation and interdisciplinary activities. As a result, significant advances in reading education were observed, an increase in self-esteem through the affirmation of identities and also the need of works contemplating the theme throughout elementary school.

EDUCAÇÃO DAS RELACÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: CAMINHOS NECESSÁRIOS PARA UMA EDUCAÇÃO ANTIRRACISTA

The Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations (ERER) is a way for children to build positive identities, of themselves and their peers, and also a means for them to be in contact with Afro-Brazilian and African culture. This article presents a discussion about the importance of ERER being inserted in early childhood education (EI). It should be noted that ERER is guaranteed at all levels of education. It is necessary that EI professionals are aware of the racial disparity in our society. Thus, an ERER needs to be discussed in teacher training courses, to assist / in the construction of pedagogical practices that consider and are promoters of race, reproduction or enforcement of legislation, or the development of all school promotion activities. racial.

A LITERATURA AFRO-BRASILEIRA NA PRIMEIRA INFÂNCIA: POR UMA EDUCAÇÃO DAS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS

This article aims to analyze a book of Afro-Brazilian children's literature focusing on the ways of being and living a black childhood. For this, we will present a brief presentation of the policies that institute the education of ethnic-racial relations, especially Federal Law 10.639/2003. This Law is responsible for promoting editorial production of literature focused on ethnic-racial diversity. We will highlight Afro-Brazilian literature as a way of enabling the recognition and appreciation of black children's stories, contributing positively to the constitution of their identities. Finally, we will present the book “Azizi, the precious gift”, written by Lucimar Rosa Dias, as a potential for an anti-racist practice in childhood.

Denúncias e pronúncias: estudos afroperspectivistas sobre infâncias e educação das relações étnico-raciais

This brief Afroperspectivist study explores the articulation between the education of ethnic-racial relations and childhood studies. The generational issues of childhood are not dissociated from racialization. Therefore, racism is a phenomenon that needs to be tackled in children's contexts. This essay makes some complaints about situations of racism that afflict children in Brazil, and offers what we call pronouncements. We postulate that it is important to propose anti-racist paths. Afro-perspectivist philosophy operates on the assumption that childhood – approached as a philosophical concept - is the existential and political key to the promotion of afrotopia, which the Senegalese economist Felwine Sarr understands as a real historical possibility. We argue that the Western project promotes adulthood, which implies the colonization of life and the world. Our hypothesis is that through the promotion of childhood we can create the necessary conditions for anti-racist societies, and offer an afro-perspectivist understanding of childhood as a proactive indicator of the possibility other realities.

Diversidade étnico-racial, formação e trabalho docente

O artigo busca compreender as relações que docentes das áreas de Ciências da Natureza e Matemática estabelecem entre diversidade étnico-racial, formação e trabalho no contexto de escolas de Ensino Médio de Acarape e Redenção, no Maciço de Baturité/CE. Metodologicamente, a investigação de abordagem qualitativa, utilizou-se do estudo de caso e desenvolveu-se por meio de entrevistas com doze docentes. O conjunto de dados revelou possibilidades de diálogo entre a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais e as áreas de Ciências da Natureza e Matemática, o que pode contribuir para que os docentes desenvolvam uma educação emancipatória, com visão crítica da própria formação e do seu trabalho nas escolas. Os resultados sinalizaram, ainda, a necessidade de superar questões ligadas ao preconceito e às diversas formas de discriminação, mas também sugerem possibilidades. Urge, portanto, o favorecimento de uma pedagogia antirracista, a valorização do universo das culturas tradicionais e o combate às diversas práticas discriminatórias.

Este artigo relata brevemente o processo criativo do experimento cênico artístico-pedagógico Escrito em Negro, apresentado em 2018 em Salvador, como resultado da oficina gratuita de teatro e música MUSICENAFRO. A experiência desse processo é apresentada como uma possibilidade bem sucedida de articulação entre elementos das culturas negras, prática artístico-educativa, educação para relações etnico-raciais e formação cidadã.

RELAÇÕES RACIAIS NA ESCOLA: ENTRE LEGISLAÇÕES E COORDENAÇÕES PEDAGÓGICAS

This article seeks to discuss part of the legislations related to racial diversity inside schools, which are Laws N 10.639 / 03 and N 11.645 / 08, CNE / CP Resolution N 01/2004, DECREE CNE / CP No 03/2004, the national curricular guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and the National Plan of Implementation of these guidelines, as well as evidence, through documentary analysis, according to Bardin (2016), referred to those legislations the fundamental role played by pedagogical coordination in implementation of the legal apparatus to the education. We conclude that the frailty of theoretical contribution above is the main obstacle to the work of the subject by pedagogical coordination, and that the legal instruments evidence and reiterate the defining place of educational policy in schools, as stated for Coelho and Padinha (2013) and Coelho e Silva (2017).

A filosofia da ancestralidade na educação das relações étnico-raciais nas universidades catarinenses

Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre a necessidade de colocar a filosofia da ancestralidade como disciplina no ensino superior de Santa Catarina e no Sul do país, a exemplo do que já ocorre em algumas universidades públicas brasileiras. A filosofia da ancestralidade localiza-se no campo da educação comprometendo-se com a cultura afro-brasileira e com a educação das relações étnico-raciais. Além disso, encontra-se na encruzilhada teórica em que o centro é a filosofia africana e os caminhos possíveis de diálogo se abrem aos pensamentos filosóficos latino-americano, caribenho, europeu e a epistemologia afrocentrada. A filosofia da ancestralidade reivindica uma epistemologia pluriversal, ou seja, uma filosofia afro-brasileira que precisa ser estudada em sala de aula, tendo como finalidade o combate ao racismo histórico e socioculturalmente enraizado no Brasil. A lei 10.639/2003 orienta que os cursos de Historia, Artes e Literatura fomentem a discussão em torno das relações étnico-racial, mas o mapeamento destes cursos das instituições de ensino superior do estado de Santa Catarina revelou a ausência e a invisibilidades de fundamentos teóricos com aderência a filosofia da ancestralidade.

Experiências afrorreferenciadas: a dança no ensino fundamental

This article aims to discuss the importance of afro-referenced experiences for the teaching of dance in the context of Basic Education, as a contribution to the education of ethnic racial relations. Committed to the teaching of African, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous history and culture, I sought to unite the dance education’s potential of transforming to African and Afrodiasporic references. The presented reflections also constitute a political, ethical and aesthetic positioning for the valorization of the cultural diversity that contemplates the African, afrodiasporic and indigenous history and culture, in order to strengthen other logics of thinking about the body, art and construction of the world. I present as theoretical contributions: Noguera (2010; 2011), Cunha Jr. (2005), Conrado (2015; 2017) and Gomes (2005).

EDUCAÇÃO PARA AS RELAÇÕES ÉTNICO-RACIAIS: UM BALANÇO DA FORMAÇÃO CONTINUADA NA RMESP”

Esse artigo se propõe a realizar um balanço da implementação das Leis Federais 10.639/03 e 11.645/08 – que tornam obrigatório o ensino da História e Cultura Africana, Afro-brasileira e Indígena – por parte da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Paulo. Nos 15 anos que se sucedem à publicação da Lei 10.639/03, pode-se perceber avanços no que se refere a Educação para as Relações Étnico-raciais: foi construído um vocabulário conceitual e os sistemas de ensino tem se mobilizado para atender esse dispositivo legal. Esse artigo visa, portanto, apresentar os resultados de pesquisa que teve por objetivo analisar a oferta de formação continuada para professores por parte da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de São Paulo. Para atender a esse propósito, realizamos uma investigação exploratória utilizando como fonte documental os comunicados publicados no Diário Oficial da cidade de São Paulo considerando: a somatória dos eventos realizados, a quantidade de vagas disponibilizadas e se houve dispensa de ponto. Apresentamos ainda as atividades realizadas pelas Diretorias Regionais de Educação, que demonstram a descentralização das políticas de formação e a autonomia dos territórios. A análise considerou ainda publicações relacionadas à destinação de orçamento e contratação de recursos humanos, o que possibilitou relacionar a oferta de formação continuada ao investimento do poder público municipal. Esse levantamento quantitativo revelou alguns dados que possibilitam um balanço inicial da implementação da referida legislação, apontando alguns caminhos para a produção de outras pesquisas relacionadas ao escopo da Educação para as Relações Étnico-raciais na Rede Municipal de Ensino de São Paulo.
