Three Dimensional Structure Model of Teachers' Information Needs with Different Information Interaction Styles

As an organic whole with certain external connection and internal structure, information demand is restricted by social factors as well as individual factors because of its special stipulation. Under the combined action of different factors, the structure of information demand presents a dynamic changing process and various basic states. Different forms of information interaction style model and information requirement model are determined. According to this complex representation, a three-dimensional structure model is presented. On the basis of this model, the correlation among information requirement process stage, cognition and emotion is studied. The experimental results show that information requirement is excessive. The reliability and validity of the model are very high among process stage, cognition and emotion, and the result of the model is compared with the result of expert evaluation. The result of analysis is almost the same as that of expert analysis, which indicates that the three-dimensional structure model of teachers' information needs with different information interaction styles has certain application performance.

A probabilistic linguistic opinion dynamics method based on the DeGroot model for emergency decision-making in response to COVID-19

Emergency decision-making entails a multi-criteria problem with a short period and urgent events, which creates difficulties for decision makers to undertake an optimal decision. To ensure the validity and rationality of decision results, the probabilistic linguistic term set is adopted to represent the evaluation information of experts because it can assign different probabilities or importance to different linguistic terms, which is closely related to human cognition. In addition, to portray the dynamic changes in the emergency decision-making process, this study develops a new dynamics method based on the DeGroot model with probabilistic linguistic information. First, to simulate the transition matrix of probabilistic linguistic opinions, the basic operational rules are defined based on the transformation function and expectation function. Next, three forms of influence matrices incorporating similarity, self-persistence, and authority degrees are constructed, and the consensus conditions of the models are discussed. Then, considering the social networks and incomplete trust relationships between experts, a fourth trust-based influence matrix is devised. A case study of emergency decision-making for assessing response plans to COVID-19 is performed to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the dynamic method. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis is conducted. Finally, comparisons with classical methods are performed to illustrate the superiorities of the proposed algorithms.

Defects and Improvement of Predicting Mine Water Inflow by Virtual Large Diameter Well Method

In order to prevent the occurrence of water inrush accidents, it is particularly important to predict the mine water inrush, especially the accurate prediction of the mine water inflow in the coal mining process. Mine water inflow is caused by mining disturbance, groundwater flows into mining panels along the mining-induced fissures, and a depression cone of water table is formed in certain range around the mining sites. Mining panel is usually regarded as an irregular “virtual large diameter well” so as to calculate mine water inflow in China. However, in the mining process, the area, shape, and cross section of goafs are constantly changing, so is the water inflow. Therefore, the central position and influence radius of the “virtual large diameter well” in the spatial and temporal distribution are in a dynamic process of continuous movement and expansion, rather than being confined to a static position. This paper firstly analyzes the formation mechanism of coal mine roof water inflow and the errors and defects in the calculation of mine water inflow by virtual large diameter well (VLDWM). Then, based on the theory of steady flow and combined with the dynamic change process of goaf area and depression cone of water table during mining activities, this paper proposes an improved method and puts forward a concept of dynamic virtual large diameter well (DVLDWM) and establishes a theoretical model of the central position and influence radius of the “mining large diameter well” moving forward. The first (periodic) caving step is taken as the calculation unit and generalized as the “dynamic large diameter well,” which is used to calculate the dynamic water inflow in the process of mine advancing. Taking the No.7208 mining panel in Zhangshuanglou Coalmine in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, as the study area, the mine water inflow was calculated dynamically by using the DVLDWM. The results show that the mine water inflow calculated is similar to the actual mine water inflow of the No.7208 mining panel observed, thus proving the reliability and credibility of the DVLDWM.

Simulation of Intellectual Property Management on Evolution Driving of Regional Economic Growth

The input, application, and transformation of intellectual property can significantly promote the economic development of a region, but the path and operation mechanism of intellectual property management on regional economic growth are not very clear. System dynamics theory was used to analyze the driving force and resistance of intellectual property management from macro to micro. With the help of system dynamics theory, equations were constructed to simulate the process path and force from intellectual property management to regional economic growth, and sensitivity analysis was used to find sensitive influencing factors in the system. The following conclusions were drawn: (1) intellectual property affects regional economic growth from the macro level, such as intellectual property investment, policies, and the construction of rules and regulations; (2) enterprises, whether in the industry, universities and research institutes, or in this system, are the main body to create innovative benefits and ultimately promote regional economic growth; (3) the continuous investment of intellectual property resources and the driving force of enterprise innovation are all sensitive factors of this system. The government should give full play to its functions and strengthen the management of intellectual property in order to enable the regional economy to obtain high quality development. Through the study of the cooperation between the subjects in the process of intellectual property management activities, the integration and allocation process of factors and resources has been researched, and revealing the action process and dynamic change process of technological innovation activities on economic growth also have been revealed.

Control of directional long borehole on gas drainage and optimal design: Case study

The Directional Long Borehole (DLB) technique, which has the benefits of low construction costs and high drainage efficiency, will be extensively used in future mining operations for gas drainage and utilization. Choosing the right borehole parameter is critical for improving the drilling stability and drainage efficiency of DLB. This paper begins with research on the gas migration and enrichment law in the mining-induced fissure, and proposes a gas migration channel zoning model. Furthermore, the dynamic process of gas migration in fissure fields is analyzed, as well as the key borehole parameters are identified. The optimal DLB parameters are eventually addressed and presented for the 2205 working face via combined UDEC and COMSOL. Research indicates that: (1) The mining-induced fissure serves as a channel for gas flow, and presents different pore morphology in space, forming a gas migration channel zoning model. The model's permeability increases initially and then decreases from the gob upward, increasing in an O-ring outward diffusion from the gob's center, it can be represented as a rectangular ladder platform with 15 zones. (2) Gas goes through a dynamic process of state change during drainage that involves adsorption/desorption, diffusion, and seepage. The main factors that affect this process are negative pressure, borehole length, borehole diameter, and the location of the borehole in the fissure zone. (3) The optimal parameters of DLB in the 2205 working face, are 2 drill sites, each with 5 sets of 500 m long boreholes, with a diameter of 133 mm, and a pumping negative pressure of 13 kPa, and placed in a layer height of 22 m. DLB provides benefits over the high-level suction highway in terms of construction cost, drainage effectiveness, and timeliness. The findings can be used to guide the design of DLB, enhance gas energy utilization, and prevent gas disasters.

Is rationality or herd more conducive to promoting farmers to protect wetlands? A hybrid interactive simulation

Within the cultural context of “guanxi” in China, it is particularly challenging to develop a framework capable to capture the complexity and adaptability of farmers facing conflicts between wetland conservation and livelihood development. In this paper, we integrate agent-based model (ABM) and field experimental methods to develop a hybrid simulation experiment model for wetland conservation behavior, in order to reveal the driving forces of land change and understand the dynamic change process of farmers' behavior. Through a field experiment and a questionnaire survey of farmers around the Shankou Mangrove Ecological Nature Reserve (SMENR) in Guangxi, China, the intention of different types of farmers to adopt wetland conservation behavior was assessed from different angles, constructing a rational choice theory (RCT) framework and ABM proxy behavior rules. The results showed that after 5 years, the adoption rate of farmers' wetland conservation behavior reached 100% under the assumption of bounded self-interest, but only about 80% under bounded rationality. This confirms that herd is more conducive to promoting farmers' wetland conservation behavior. Decision makers should consider the importance of bounded rationality and bounded self-interest interaction, foster farmers' sense of belonging and responsibility toward wetlands, and guide farmers to participate in the ecological protection and sustainable use of wetlands.

Vegetation Dynamics in the Qinling-Daba Mountains through Climate Warming with Land-Use Policy

The Qinling-Daba Mountains in central China (also known as the north–south transitional zone) comprise an ideal area to study land cover change, climate change, and human activities. The normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) change and associated driving factors are highly sensitive to vegetation cover change. To discover the long-term vegetation trends in the transition zone and determine the driving factors of NDVI change in recent decades, this study analyzed the NDVI variation trend and its spatial variation with elevation, slope, and land-use type based on annual growing season NDVI data from 1990–2019 (Landsat 30 m; Google Earth Engine). The results show that NDVI values in the Qinling-Daba Mountains significantly increased and experienced a dynamic change process, involving an initial decrease and subsequent increase over this time period. The period of 2000–2005 showed a remarkable increasing stage of the NDVI in the transition zone. Such NDVI changes are sensitive to elevation and slope. For example, areas at elevations < 1500 m or with slopes of 5°–25° exhibited a stronger rate of NDVI increase than in other places. The NDVI change was also found to be positively affected by human land use and climate warming, both of which had a stronger impact than precipitation. The area with rapid NDVI growth was also the region with the greatest impact of human cropland and host to the Grain-for-Green project. This demonstrates that human land use has had a positive impact on the NDVI change in recent decades, although urbanization had led to a decrease in the NDVI in surrounding areas. Land-use policies have contributed to the large increase in NDVI values, especially those for forest conservation and expansion programs such as the Grain-for-Green project.

Dynamic Changes and Driving Forces of Alpine Wetlands on the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau Based on Long-Term Time Series Satellite Data: A Case Study in the Gansu Maqu Wetlands

The Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (QTP), also known as the Third Pole of the Earth, is sensitive to climate change, and it has become a hotspot area for research. As a typical natural ecosystem on the QTP, alpine wetlands are particularly sensitive to climate change. The identification of different types of alpine wetland and analysis of changes in their distributions and areas are the most direct indicators for characterizing the impact of climate change on wetlands. To understand the dynamic change process of the alpine wetlands in the QTP and their responses to climate change, the Maqu wetlands, located at the source of the Three Rivers in the eastern part of the QTP, was taken as an example; the Google Earth Engine (GEE) remote sensing cloud platform and long-term dense Landsat time series data from 1990 to 2020 were used to map the annual wetland classification and to analyze the evolution characteristics of the wetlands and their driving forces. The results revealed that (1) based on dense Landsat time series data, different alpine wetland types can be effectively distinguished, including swamp, swamp meadow, and wet meadow. (2) From 1990 to 2020, the area of the Maqu wetlands exhibited an overall fluctuating decrease, with the total area decreasing by about 23.35%, among which the swamp area decreased the most (by 27.15%). The overall type of change was from wet to dry. All of the types of wetlands were concentrated between 3400 and 3600 m above sea level, and the reduction in the wetland area was concentrated on slopes < 3°, with the greatest loss of wetland area occurring on shady slopes. (3) The driving forces of the changes in the wetlands were predominantly temperature and precipitation, and the greatest correlation was between the total wetland area and the growing season temperature. The results of this study provide valuable information for the conservation of alpine wetlands.

Determination of Static and Dynamic Yield Stress of Chengdu Clay Slurry

The yield stress of mud is one key to analyze the initiation and deposition of debris flow. Taking Chengdu clay as the experimental material, slurries with different solid volume concentrations were prepared. Using the blade rotor system of mcr301 rheometer and the continuous shear experimental method, the dynamic change process of shear stress of slurries with different solid volume concentrations was obtained with the shear rate increasing and decreasing continuously. According to the experimental results, the static and dynamic yield stress of Chengdu clay slurry is determined, and the influence of solid volume concentration on the yield stress is analyzed. The following conclusions are obtained: Chengdu clay slurry is a non-Newtonian fluid with yield stress. In the process of accelerated shear, for Chengdu clay slurry with solid volume concentration exceeding 35%, the shear rate is in the range of 0.01–1 s−1, and the shear stress increases rapidly to the maximum. When the shear rate exceeds 1 s−1, the shear stress decreases rapidly and finally tends to be stable. The shear rate appears stress overshoot near 1s−1. However, in the process of increasing shear rate, for Chengdu clay slurry with solid volume concentration of no more than 35%, the shear stress increases rapidly in the range of shear rate of 0.01–0.1 s−1, and the shear rate exceeds 0.1 s−1. The shear rate has little effect on the shear stress, and the stress overshoot disappears. In the process of deceleration shear, for all solid volume concentrations in the semi logarithmic coordinate system, the mud shear stress decreases steadily with the decrease of shear rate. The static and dynamic yield stress of slurry increases exponentially with particle concentration.

Dynamic Monitoring of Land Use in the Loess Plateau from 1995 to 2015

New classification method of coal spontaneous combustion three zones in the goaf based on non-parametric kernel density estimation.

The accurate division of three zones of coal spontaneous combustion in the goaf plays a vital role for coal fire prevention. Based on the O2 and CO volume fraction acquired from in situ test, this paper first fits the linear equation (characteristic equation) of O2 volume fraction with the length of the goaf. Then a cloud map of the kernel density distribution of O2 and CO volume fraction and the length of the goaf was drawn. According to the cloud map of CO, the distribution interval of CO volume fraction can be obtained, in which 0-100 ppm is the acceptable range, and greater than 100 ppm is the dangerous range, which can be used as a critical indicator for early warning of coal spontaneous combustion. According to the kernel density distribution cloud map of O2 volume fraction, there are 3 peaks of the kernel density of O2 volume fraction. According to the difference test, the 3 goaf lengths (characteristic lengths) corresponding to the 3 kernel density peaks are determined to be 12 m, 34 m, and 59 m, respectively. The characteristic O2 volume fractions are obtained by substituting characteristic lengths into the characteristic equation, which are 17.9%, 13.6%, and 8.9%. Different from the traditional dividing method, the characteristic O2 volume fractions and characteristic lengths divide the goaf into four areas: the heat dissipation zone, the first oxidation zone, the second oxidation zone, and the asphyxiation zone. The results of this study could refine the division of coal spontaneous combustion dangerous areas, reflect the dynamic change process of coal spontaneous combustion dangerous areas, and improve the efficiency of coal spontaneous combustion prevention.

Distribution Characteristics of the Alpine Treeline and Vegetation Response to Climate Change of Taibai Mountain, China

Climate change significantly affects global forest ecosystems, and the alpine treeline is sensitive to global warming. The alpine treeline data using high-resolution remote sensing images during four periods from 1987 to 2020 at Taibai Mountain are extracted. The dynamic change process of the alpine treeline and the response of vegetation near the alpine treeline to climate change are analyzed. The results showed that the alpine treeline of Taibai Mountain was primarily distributed in the range of 2266-3692 m, and the average elevation of the alpine treeline showed a trend of “rising-decreasing.” The elevation of the alpine treelines of the sunny slopes were much higher than that of the shady slopes, and the highest values typically appeared on slopes and steep slopes of 15-35°. Vegetation is sensitive to temperature changes, and it typically displays a synchronous increase and decrease. However, there was a lag in the precipitation of approximately one year, and the rising temperatures of the sunny slopes were not conducive to vegetation growth. The vegetation will be dominated by a trend of unsustainable improvement in the future, and there exists a risk of continuous vegetation degradation on the northern slopes. However, a warm and humid climate will be conducive to vegetation growth above the alpine treeline.

Study on the river habitat quality in Luanhe based on the eco-hydrodynamic model

Fishes are at the top of the aquatic food chain, are the best indicators of the health status of aquatic ecosystems and are the organisms most sensitive to changes in the aquatic ecological environment. Given the shortcomings of the commonly used river physical habitat models that only consider hydraulic factors, a two-dimensional (2D) eco-hydrodynamic model, containing eco-hydrological elements, was constructed using the identified driving forces of the ecological evolution of rivers. The main hydrological elements are water depth and flow velocity, while the main ecological elements are NH3-N, chemical oxygen demand, and sediments. Based on field survey data, relevant studies, and a comprehensive analysis of the natural geographical characteristics of the Luanhe River Basin, the dominant fish and plant species in the study area (the river section from the Daheiting-Taolinkou Reservoir to Luanxian Hydrological Station) were determined to be Cypriniformes and reed, respectively. The habitat suitability indices (HSIs) of various target species were determined using the model simulation method and the observational statistical method, and the river habitat quality model was constructed based on the 2D eco-hydrodynamic model. The spatial distribution and dynamic change process of the habitat quality of carp in the Qianxi section downstream of the Daheiting Reservoir and reed in the Qianxi section of the Luanhe River were obtained by calculation. Comparison with existing studies and ecological monitoring data shows that the model proposed in this paper is reliable and effective, which will help with the development of ecological protection and management efforts for rivers with not enough ecological monitoring data.

Application of high content imaging technique in research on effective components of traditional Chinese medicine: a review

High content imaging(HCI) technique that combines automatic high throughput with high-resolution cell imaging, is characterized by abundant data information, high imaging sensitivity, easy visualization and standardization, and is commonly used in the cellular(or subcellular) phenotypic analysis. Abundant phenotypic information can be obtained by using HCI in one experiment, including cellular morphology, cellular structure, and signal transduction pathways of related functions, on the basis of the maintenance of the integrity of cellular structures and functions. Multiple studies have shown that a series of dynamic spatio-temporal interactive change processes were induced by the disturbance of cells by specific factors, making cell phenotypes change accordingly, especially for the slight perturbation response of cells. Generally, the detection of one or several endpoint effect indicators is often difficult to accurately and comprehensively reflect the overall efficacy information of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) because of its unique characteristics of multi-components and multi-targets. The application of HCI is thus helpful to discover the effective components and their action modes in the complex system of TCM. This paper reviewed the application progress in the HCI technique in the screening of active components and their regulation mechanism to provide references for further research.

Dynamic Effect of Organic Fertilizer Application on Rice Growth, Soil Physicochemical Properties and Cd Activity Exposed to Excess Cd.

To investigate the dynamic effects of organic fertilizer application on the agronomic traits of rice (Oryza sativa L.), soil physicochemical properties and soil Cd activity under excess cadmium (Cd) exposure, this study was conducted to simulate a paddy system under different organic fertilizer application rates using exogenous spiked Cd soil as the test soil and conducting a rice pot experiment. The obtained results showed that the application of organic fertilizer increased the number of rice tillers, rice plant height, total grain number and total grain weight at maturity in all treated soils, while it decreased the concentration of Cd in brown rice. The application of organic fertilizer increased the organic matter (OM), redox potential and electrical conductivity of all treated soils but decreased the pH and TCLP-extractable Cd of all treated soils. There was a significant or highly significant negative correlation (p < 0.05 or p < 0.01) between soil TCLP-extractable Cd and soil OM throughout the experimental period, implying that soil OM may be an important factor influencing the changes in Cd activity in soil. In addition, our experiment also examined in detail the dynamic change process of the abovementioned indicators throughout the experimental period and observed that the dynamic change process of soil Cd activity could be described as a trend of first decreasing and then gradually increasing throughout the rice reproductive period.

Experimental study on dynamic effect of external insulation on indoor thermal environment and energy consumption

In this paper, two identical model buildings were built, one of which adopted 38 mm Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) board as the external insulation. Under the same heating set-point temperature, the dynamic change process of indoor thermal environment and heating energy consumption of EPS insulation building and non-insulation Reference building was compared and monitored. Results show that under the same heating set-point temperature, the indoor temperature of the two buildings can quickly approach the set value in about 20 min. However, the temperature rise of the internal surface of the wall lags behind. After several hours, the advantage of the temperature rise of the internal surface of the EPS building gradually appeared. The energy consumption of the two buildings is similar in the initial heating period of 20 min, and the energy saving rate of EPS building increases slowly with the increase of the heating duration. The energy saving rate is about 1%–26% in the range of 0.5–8 h intermittent heating in hot summer and cold winter zone. The change curve of cumulative temperature rise ratio with heating time is proposed to evaluate the dynamic improvement effect of external insulation on indoor thermal environment. This research provides a reference basis for the development of energy conservation.

Overvoltage Suppression Under Commutation Failure Based on Improved Voltage-Dependent Current Order Limiter Control Strategy

Commutation failure (CF) in the line-commutated converter based high-voltage direct-current system will result in a large amount of reactive power surplus on the rectifier ac system. It will cause the transient overvoltage and lead to the massive disconnection of the renewable sources. In this article, the mechanism of the transient overvoltage caused by CF is analyzed and the suppression strategy based on improved voltage-dependent current order limiter (VDCOL) control is proposed. First, during the process of CF, the dynamic behavior of reactive power consumption of the rectifier is analyzed. It is proposed that when the inverter returns to normal commutation, the sudden increase of the inverter dc voltage will cause the decreasing of the dc current, which will result in the large decreasing of reactive power consumption of the rectifier. Then, the dynamic change process of the rectifier ac voltage is deduced. Second, the peak value of transient overvoltage as affected by the occurrence and removal time of the short-circuit fault is deduced and analyzed. Then, by improving the operating characteristic of the VDCOL control, the control strategy of overvoltage suppression is proposed. Based on the PSCAD platform's CIGRE-HVDC benchmark model, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by the simulation results.

Due to economic and technical reasons, in accelerated degradation testing (ADT) there are usually limited ADT data, which embody lots of epistemic uncertainties that cannot be depicted well by probability theory. Noting these facts, several uncertain processes based accelerated degradation models (UADMs) are proposed under the framework of uncertainty theory. However, these UADMs described uncertainties from a macro perspective which ignored the characteristic of performance degradation in small time scales and failed to describe the essence of nonlinear degradation. What is more, to estimate unknown parameters, these models used empirical distribution functions, which may have a great impact on the estimation results with limited samples. Motivated by these problems, based on uncertainty theory this paper builds up an uncertain differential equation based accelerated degradation model (UDEADM), which considers the dynamic cumulative change process of performance in small space–time scale, and explains the essence of nonlinear for uncertainties in degradation trend. Unknown parameters are estimated using uncertain generalized moment estimations. Furthermore, reliability and lifetime are analyzed under the normal operating condition based on belief reliability theory. A simulation study and a real data analysis are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed methodology in details.
