The development of higher vocational education is inseparable from a country's economic and social development and industrial structure development. Strengthening scientific evaluation of the development status of higher vocational education is an important prerequisite and foundation for scientifically promoting the development of higher vocational education. Educational evaluation is an effective scientific method for discovering the shortcomings of institutions' development and promoting their improvement. Based on this, it is important to construct a systematic, rich, measurable, forward-looking and robust as an evaluation index system. This paper uses a combination of subjective expert scoring and objective AHP hierarchical analysis to construct an evaluation system for higher vocational institutions, and comprehensively analyses the relative strength indicators and relative weakness indicators of each vocational institution, with a view to helping relevant institutions understand their overall development situation more comprehensively and objectively, and promoting the sustainable development of higher vocational education.

A Review on Sustainable Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training among the Students from China

The purpose of this article is to discuss the practical exploration of ESD in China, attempts to study the sustainable development of vocational and technical education and training students, aiming to provide help for the sustainable development of students in vocational Institutions. This paper covered some of the previous research which related to the Sustainable Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training. Most qualitative research articles can be divided into main sections: The review is mainly divided into the following sections: Introduction, Research on Sustainable Development of Higher Vocational Education, Research on Sustainable Development of Students of Vocational School, Research on the Theory of Lifelong Education. Recalling the three theoretical development processes, theoretical studies and scholars' studies have pointed out the importance of the sustainable development of vocational education for vocational college students, and sustainable development is the key to vocational education. In light of the situation in China, researchers proposed that vocational education in China be sustainable. Education for sustainable development is transformative education. It will guide students in vocational colleges to learn and live in a sustainable way. However, there is almost no research in this field in Ningxia Vocational School in China. This study looks at the education and training of students' sustainable development. Therefore, the research will provide sustainable development education in the school's development to meet the challenges of sustainable development at NingXia Polytechnic.

Discussion on Profession Development of Higher Vocational Education from The Perspective of Market Principles and Occupational Changes

Higher vocational education is a kind of vocational education, and the professional construction of higher vocational education should meet the market principle. This paper introduces the main points of market principles, analyzes the changes of professions caused by contemporary technological revolution and the requirements of new professions for the quality of talents. Suggestions are made for the professional construction of higher vocational education. Policy-Driven Development and the Strategic Initiative of One-Million Enrollment Expansion in China’s Higher Vocational Education

Purpose: This article explores the relationship between governmental policy and the development of higher vocational education in China. Design/Approach/Methods: The article begins with a textual analysis of dozens of policy documents on higher vocational education issued by the Chinese government since 1999. Findings: The article argues that the development of higher vocational education in China has been largely policy-driven. This development can be divided into four stages: scale development, quality improvement, capacity building, and systemwide enhancement. The transition between each of these developmental stages was marked by new policy initiatives undertaken by the Chinese government. Originality/Value: The government’s recent efforts to expand higher vocational education enrollment by one million students have significant implications for China’s higher vocational education. Additionally, the proposed “1 + X” model—which attaches equal importance to academic education and skill training—may represent the beginning of a new stage in the development of higher vocational education in China.

Історія вищої освіти кіровоградщини хх століття у працях краєзнавців

The genesis and evolution of higher education in Kirovohrad region (Ukraine) in the 20th century have been subject of interest of a number of local lore researchers. The abolishing of the strict ideological limitations in the beginning of 1990s and the provision of free access to local archives and other formerly forbidden sources of information greatly helped to reconsider historical events and phenomena in the field. the period from 1991 – to our time can be called the most productive in terms of the number of works on the history of higher education in the region, which leads to the conclusion that modern Ukrainian researchers have made a significant contribution to the study of higher education in Kirovograd region. Based on the deep analysis of the archival local lore, regulatory documents and historical statistical data Ukrainian educators and scientists traced the development of local professional education system, in particular teacher training, technical, commercial, in terms of content, forms, methods and techniques applied, educational process organization and teaching staff at different historical stages. The article provides a brief historiographic outline of the most significant works. It is found that in the late twentieth century generalizations appear, which purposefully and systematically analyzes the history of higher education in the Kirovograd region, gives an objective assessment of the current state of vocational education and identifies trends in its improvement, positively evaluates the development of higher education in the region. The main achievement of modern scientists is that due to the attraction of new documents and materials, they have been able to carry out comprehensive research within the studied areas. However, most of them undoubtedly have a high relevance in view of the modern development of higher education. At the same time, the papers lack an objective analysis of the negative trends in the development of higher vocational education. This problem also determines the prospects for further research.
