Managing the Orientation Towards Competition in Handball of Students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The research aims to identify the management of the orientation towards competition in handball for students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the differences in the management of the orientation towards competition in handball for the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences according to the gender variable (males - females). The researcher used the descriptive method because it is suitable for the research procedures. The research community consisted of students from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, third stage, morning study at Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Basic Education for the academic year (2023 - 2024). The sample consisted of (90) male and female students distributed into three sections, with (65) males and (30) females. The researcher randomly selected a sample of (50) of them, with (25) males and (25). The research tool was the management of orientation toward competition, designed by (Mohamed Hassan Allawi) to measure the management of orientation toward competition for students of physical education and sports sciences because it represents one of the important dimensions of athletic achievement goal orientations. The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS), version (25), to obtain the results. The researcher concluded from the results that there is a case of managing the orientation towards competition among the students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, as well as the absence of significant differences in the case of managing the orientation towards competition among the students of the Department of Education and Sports Sciences according to the gender variable (males - females).

The Effect of Educational Units According to the Cognitive Training Strategy on Cognitive Flexibility and Learning the Skill of Scoring in Football

The first chapter contained the introduction and importance of the research, as the importance of using the cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility was addressed for learning football for first-stage students. The research aims to address whether educational units developed by the researchers positively influence learning outcomes in football scoring. The objectives of the research were to prepare educational units using a cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility in learning the skill of scoring in football. Where the research areas were: The human field: first-year students in the College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Al- Mustansiriya University, the time field: for the period from 10/12/2022 until 2/ 10/2023. As for the research community, it was represented by the students of the first stage in the College of Basic Education/Al- Mustansiriya University (70) students. The sample consisted of two equal groups (10), experimental and control. The Vina system was used using a three-dimensional test to determine cognitive flexibility. The researcher conducted pre-tests for the research sample, then the main experiment was applied for a period of 10 weeks, one educational unit per week, after which the researcher conducted the post-tests and the pre-tests with the same procedures, which indicated that there were significant differences between the two research groups and in favor of the experimental group. The conclusions were that there was a positive impact of the educational units used in the research to learn skills, as the researcher recommended using a cognitive training strategy according to cognitive flexibility in learning other skills.

Applied biomechanics within the Kinesiology discipline in higher education

Background and Study Aim. Biomechanics is a fundamental component of Kinesiology, offering critical insights into the mechanics of human movement. As the demand for comprehensive educational programs in Kinesiology grows, understanding the role and effectiveness of biomechanics within these programs becomes increasingly important. The aim of the study is to investigate and highlight the role and importance of biomechanics in the context of higher education, with an emphasis on the discipline of Kinesiology. Material and Methods. This study involved 71 students from the Department of Physical Education and Sport at Pitești University Center. It included 43 students specializing in Physical Education and Sport (PES) and 28 in Sports and Motor Performance (SMP). The research utilized the university's e-learning platform to monitor teaching and evaluation activities within the Kinesiology discipline. The evaluation of fundamental Kinesiology knowledge was assessed through various indicators. Google Forms-Questionnaire sought to gauge student opinions on the thematic content of Biomechanics as applied to Kinesiology and to evaluate the teaching staff. The nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis Test was employed to analyze differences in means across the groups. Results. The study revealed a diverse interest in sports across the Physical Education and Sport (PES) and Sports and Motor Performance (SMP) programs. Soccer, basketball, and handball were the most popular among students. Comparative analysis of academic performance showed no significant differences between the groups in various assessments (p>0.05). The overall student feedback on the "Fundamentals of Biomechanics of Physical Activities and Sports" course was predominantly positive. Over 50% of the students rated it as very good. Areas for improvement in teaching methods were also identified to enhance the academic experience. Conclusions. This study highlights the effective integration of biomechanics within the Kinesiology discipline at the higher education level. Findings suggest that well-structured educational programs can enhance students' understanding and application of biomechanics. This contributes positively to their academic and professional development in sports sciences. Continuous curriculum assessment and refinement are crucial for maintaining the relevance and effectiveness of such programs.

The state of physical readiness of the students of higher education institutions to the defense of Ukraine

The article reveals the theoretical issues of patriotic upbringing and physical readiness of students of educational institutions to defend the state. It was revealed that modern realities led to intensify the search for an effective content of the educational process in physical education, the introduction of physical culture, health and applied technologies to increase the level of physical fitness and mastery of military-applied physical skills and abilities by students of higher education institutions. The purpose of the article is to study the state of physical preparedness of students of higher education institutions to protect the national sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine. Physical readiness refers to the student's physical condition which allows him to perform physical exercises and overcome obstacles that may be encountered in accordance with the requirements of the military task. Departments of physical education should ensure the proper physical readiness of students for life and military service in higher education institutions. Currently, the level of physical preparedness of students of higher education institutions does not meet the requirements for conscripts in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Studies have confirmed that only 7.0% of first-year students have a high level of physical preparedness, these are as a rule athletes who have a high qualification or those who systematically do physical exercises, visit gyms or physical culture and health centers. 24.0% of students are classified as average, 37.2% as low and 31.8% as poor respectively. It can be assumed that 69.0% of the first-year students who have just entered the university are not ready to defend the Motherland in terms of physical preparedness. The system of physical education in higher education institutions of Ukraine needs a fundamental restructuring and restoration.

Competition as a component of the curriculum and its implementation in special terms of the 2022-2023 academic year

The article reveals the peculiarities of the organization and conduct of competitions in the 2022-2023 academic year among students of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in modern special conditions.
 The educational process of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the NSC "Institute of Biology and Medicine" is organized according to the Educational Program, taking into account the characteristics of each type of sport, as an effective means of physical education.
 Sports games are a match between two parties that take place within the framework of the rules, the advantage of which is assessed by the quantitative achievements of a stipulated goal, and is an effective means of physical education of students, which are characterized by many means, methods and forms with a combination of a great emotional state of the participants during classes , especially in modern conditions. In the structure of the department of physical education and sports of the NSC "Institute of Biology and Medicine" of the Taras Shevchenko KNU, the methodical commission for sports games occupies a place alongside the methodical commissions for fitness, swimming, and athletics. It should be noted that each methodological commission has separate specializations, for example, sports games are structured from badminton, basketball, table tennis, futsal, football and chess with checkers, and fitness has specializations - strength, recreational and others.
 The curriculum of the physical education department includes the opportunity for students to take part in competitions of various levels, which encourages optional classes in various sports, especially sports games, which attract not only participants, but also fans, who later join physical education classes.
 A separate part of the educational process is the training load for students who participate in national teams of Taras Shevchenko KNU in various sports in competitions of various levels.
 By combining all sections of the curriculum, students have the opportunity to receive a quality education in the discipline of "physical education" in modern conditions. A special place is occupied by internal sports competitions among students, which were organized and conducted under the leadership of the teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Institute of Biology and Medicine, which contributed to the implementation of the educational program on sports games and encouraging more students to participate.
 The number of competitions held by other organizations, in which students of Taras Shevchenko KNU took part, was insignificant, relative to the total number of competitions. This stimulated the teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Institute of Biology and Medicine to increase the number of internal competitions and contributed to the implementation of the curriculum for the 2022-2023 academic year under special conditions.

LMS 성찰 글쓰기를 활용한 ‘뉴스포츠 실기 및 지도법’ 전공수업에 참여한 직전 교사의 경험과 시사점 탐색

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of pre-service teachers who took the ‘new sports practical skills and teaching method’ using LMS reflection writing at universities.
 Methods For 15 weeks from March 2 to June 8, 2023, the reflective essays written by elementary school preparatory teachers who participated in the New Sports Practical Skills and Teaching Methods class using reflective writing for 2 hours a week and the data collected through one in-depth interview were inductively categorically analyzed.
 Results The experience of the primary pre-service teacher who participated in the new sports practical skills and teaching method class is as follows. First, elementary pre-service teachers with low motor skills were able to discover the charm of new sports as they participated in new sports with less pressure. Second, primary pre-service teachers have acquired the intrinsic and extrinsic value of new sports. Third, the pre-service teachers were able to expand their practical knowledge of new sports as well as their understanding of teaching methods in the course of class demonstration exercises, thereby increasing their perspective on lesson design and management. Fourth, it broke away from school physical education, which was limited to modern sports, and laid the foundation for the operation of various physical education classes. Fifth, through reflective writing, primary pre-service teachers were able to improve their expertise as a future teacher by repeatedly having active and subjective reflections on the process of class participation.
 Conclusions Because the new sports practice and teaching method using LMS reflective writing provides meaningful experience to prospective elementary school teachers, it is desirable for it to be operated in the physical education department curriculum of immediate teacher education institutions.

Psychological endurance and its relation to the performance of high jump efficiency In the arena and field activities

The research aimed to identify the psychological endurance among students of the first stage - College of Basic Education - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Diyala, as well as to identify the differences in the phenomenon of psychological endurance and its relationship to the performance of the high jump event in arena and field events. The researcher used the descriptive approach in general The research reached (70) male and female students from the first stage - College of Basic Education - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - University of Diyala, for the academic year 2023-2024, As for the research sample, it was randomly selected by lottery from the research community, which numbered (63) male and female students, and represents (90%) of the research community. At the conclusion of the study, the researcher concluded that there was a difference between the sexes to a high degree and in favor of males. The reason is that female students suffer from poor performance tolerance, which affects their psychological state. The study came out with a number of recommendations.

Investigation of Mental Training Status of University Students Interested in Individual and Team Sports

The aim of this study is to examine the mental training status of students who are interested in individual and team sports at Aksaray University Faculty of Sport Sciences in terms of different variables. In the research, 182 volunteer students studying in the departments of Physical Education and Sports, Coaching Education and Sports Management at Aksaray University Faculty of Sport Sciences were included. Data collection tools in the study; Personal Information Form, Mental Training Inventory in Sports (MTI) was used to determine the mental training status of the students. SPSS 26 package program was used to evaluate the data. According to the data obtained, it was concluded that the mental training levels of the students were high. There was a significant difference in the variables of sport branch and program of study, but no difference was found in the gender variable. As a result, it was seen that the mental training levels of the students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences were at a high level. The reason for this is that the Covid-19 period has just ended, and it is thought that the students' inability to train due to this situation may have affected their mental training status.

The Relationship between Physical Education Teachers’ Benefits of Participation in Recreational Activities, Leisure Time Satisfaction Levels, and Cognitive Flexibility

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between physical education teachers' recreational activity participation, leisure time satisfaction, and cognitive flexibility. The relationship between the benefits that physical education teachers derive from participating in recreational activities, their levels of satisfaction during leisure time, and their cognitive flexibility. A total of 515 participants took part in the research. Out of these, 191 were female and 324 were male. All the participants were employed by physical education departments in Antalya. The teachers who participated in the research were selected using the homogeneous sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods, and voluntary participation was considered in determining the participants. In the collection of research data, the scales were filled in electronically. The Personal Information Form developed by the researcher was used to obtain sociodemographic data. In addition, the Recreation Utility Scale designed by Ho in 2008 (26), the Leisure Time Satisfaction Scale developed by Beard and Ragheb in 1980 (6), and the Cognitive Flexibility Scale developed by Martin and Rubin in 1995 (34) were used to measure how individuals spend their ‘leisure time’ physically, psychologically, and socially. The data obtained from the scales were analyzed and interpreted through statistical methods based on the research problems. SPSS version 25 statistical programs was used for data analysis. Descriptive statistical analyses, including frequency and percentage distributions of the responses to the scale questions, as well as arithmetic mean and standard deviation scores, interpretive statistical analyses were performed based on the results of the normality analysis of the data, and correlation (Pearson) analysis was used to determine the relationships between variables. The reliability level for this study was accepted as 0.05. When the findings were examined, according to the results of the research, it can be said that the physical education teachers participating in the research generally think that recreational activities are beneficial in terms of physical, psychological, and social aspects. However, they exhibited an attitude that recreational activities contribute more to individuals' physical and psychological characteristics while contributing less to their social lives or socialization. Additionally, it can be said that they are generally satisfied with leisure activities, but they believe that the places where these activities are carried out need to be better designed or increased. The cognitive flexibility levels of physical education teachers were found to be close to "somewhat agree" and they have a positive cognitive flexibility. The relevance of the research is determined by the necessity to analyze and summarize the results of gender studies devoted to physical education and sports. The objective of the research is to identify the trends in scientific studies in the field of physical education and sports using the method of a literature review of papers based on the gender approach. The research hypothesizes that gender studies in the field of physical education and sports are carried out in line with the main trends reflecting the specifics in the development of these areas of scientific theory and practice. Methods. The research has been carried out with the help of such methods as theoretical study and analysis of publications in scientific journals on the issue of physical education and sports based on the gender approach, synthesis, and methods of logical generalizations. Results. The research has actualized the necessity to analyze scientific publications in the field of physical education and sports, based on the gender approach, and the need to initiate the study integrating gender knowledge in the fields of pedagogy, physical education and sports. The research has also identified the trends of gender studies in the field of physical education and sports. The most significant among them are the theoretical-methodological and scientific-methodological foundations of the gender approach in physical education and sports; gender equality in the field of physical education and sports; sex, age and gender characteristics of the subjects of educational relations; sex and gender differences in particular kinds of sports. Conclusions. The listed trends attract attention of researchers to a great extent. At the same time, the direction associated with the study of gender aspects of value-semantic and motivational-volitional qualities of athletes and students requires further intensive scientific developments. The study determines gender characteristics of students’ motivation at the departments of physical education and sports as a perspective direction for further theoretical and empirical research.

The question of implementation of the National strategy on health- improving motor activity of student youth in the context of today's challenges

Goal. To determine the main issues of the effectiveness of the implementation of the National strategy for health improving physical activity of student youth in the context of the current challenges (in the conditions of martial law and post-war recovery). The analysis of legal acts and scientific and methodological literature has shown that the legal acts regulating physical education in educational institutions are adopted haphazardly and do not solve the problems of promoting physical activity, improving health and increasing the level of physical fitness of student youth; the management of educational institutions bypasses orders and letters regulating the activities of physical education departments, as they are advisory in nature and are not binding. This has led to the elimination of physical education departments in many higher education institutions across the country. The problems of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and physical activity have been significantly exacerbated by the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. The duration of hostilities against russian aggression has revealed the problems of insufficient physical fitness of student youth, a potential reserve for the Armed Forces and defenders of the Motherland. Conclusions. State programmes under the National strategy for healthy physical activity and recommendations are not implemented due to their declarative nature and bureaucracy. The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, together with other ministries and departments, should adopt an order obliging educational institutions to introduce appropriate physical training programmes aimed at preparing young people for future professional activities, life and defence of the Motherland, develop effective regulations and recommendations for their implementation, review standards and improve mechanisms for testing the level of physical fitness of student youth.

RESULTS OF PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION THE INDEPENDENT WILL BE BUSY WITH PHYSICA EXERCISES IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS AMONG YOUTH STUDENTS

The article examines the effectiveness of the program of independent physical exercises in stressful situations among students of the Dnipro National University named after Oles Gonchar.
 War is seen as a source of extreme stress that is unexpected and extremely intense. Its psycho-traumatic potential is connected with this. Therefore, it is important to understand what means can be used to bring a person out of a stressful state and to treat mild forms of mental disorders caused by stress. It is especially relevant to consider those methods of combating stress that do not require any additional costs, and therefore are generally available to everyone.
 A program of independent classes was developed according to scientific studies, which claim that anaerobic activity is as effective in stressful conditions as aerobic exercises, regime of alternating strength exercises and aerobics with a duration of 30 minutes. Exercise intensity was moderate to moderate, as any positive effect of exercise on reducing the risk of depressive symptoms may be limited by exercise intensity.
 Results received. The number of respondents who had a moderate degree of depression according to the Beck scale decreased by 15%. Also, the number of students with a mild degree of depression decreased by 34%, and the number of students with a normal psychological state increased accordingly (by 49%). Conclusions were made: 1. Self-exercise is an opportunity to support both physical and psychological health of a person. 2. In a stressful state, motor activity is a mandatory component for getting out of it and reducing its effect. 3. To reduce symptoms of depression, the focus should be on exercise frequency, not duration or intensity. 4. A mandatory condition for teachers of physical education departments of higher education institutions is the education of priority health orientations in students, motivational incentives for regular independent physical exercises, because systematic training is an important guarantee of normal physical and spiritual development of young people.

Acute Effects of Countermovement Jumps with Post-activation Potentiation Utilizing Additional Elastic Resistance during Eccentric Stretching Phase

<p>目的：本研究欲探究下蹲階段輔以彈性阻力之反向跳預先活動，對於6分鐘恢復時間後之跳躍表現的活化後增益效應。方法：本研究招募11名國立大學體育相關科系男性學生為受試對象，施以2循環、每循環5次的反向跳預先活動，且於下蹲制動階段介入外加彈性阻力，阻力強度分為0% BW、15% BW、30% BW三種情境，並於預先活動介入前與介入後第6分鐘後進行前測與後測。以兩塊測力板擷取前測與後測之反向跳過程中垂直地面反作用力值與時間，並計算發力率、跳躍高度、修正式反應力量指標以及下肢勁度。以相依樣本 t-test 進行統計檢驗，統計水準訂為 α = .05，比較前測與後測的下肢動態力量特徵之參數是否有差異。結果：本研究結果顯示，三種介入模式皆顯著提升反向跳制動末點力值 (p < .05)。15% BW與30% BW的介入模式顯著提升制動期與推蹬期發力率 (p < .05)。30 % BW的介入模式顯著提升反向跳下肢勁度、修正式反應力量指標，並縮短制動期時間 (p < .05)。結論：本研究之介入應有助於增進牽張反射機制之效益，尤其是在離心制動階段的肌力特徵表現上，因此，建議在進行具備牽張反射機制之動作執行前，可透過反向跳下蹲階段輔以30% BW彈性阻力進行下肢動態肌力活化之預先活動，以助於後續之運動表現。</p> <p> </p><p>Purpose: The current study aimed at exploring the immediate effect of pre-activities of countermovement jumps, with elastic resistance and 6 minutes of recovery time, on post-activation potentiation during squatting phase. Method: Eleven male college students recruited from the Physical Education department at National Dong Hwa University were asked to perform pre-activities of countermovement jumps (2 cycles, 5 repetitions for each cycle), with elastic resistances (0% BW, 15% BW, and 30% BW) during the squatting phase, followed by pre-tests and post-tests before and after six minutes of recovery time. Two AMTI force plates were used to collect data on vertical ground reaction force and time during countermovement jumps for pre- and post-tests. Rate of force development, jump heights, reactive strength index modified, and lower extremity stiffness were calculated accordingly. Dependent sample t-test was conducted (α=.05) to determine if there were significant differences in the parameters related to lower extremity dynamic strength between the pre- and post-tests. Results: Pre-activities with all three interventions significantly increased the ground reaction forces during the breaking phase (p < .05). Pre-activities with elastic resistances of 15% and 30% BW significantly elevated the rates of force development during the breaking and propulsive phases (p < .05). Pre-activities with 30% BW elastic resistance significantly led to increased lower extremity stiffness, reactive strength index modified, and decreased breaking time (p < .05). Conclusion: The added elastic resistance enhanced the benefits of stretch reflex mechanism, especially the muscle strength characteristics during the eccentric breaking phase. Based on our finding, countermovement jumps with pre-activity with elastic resistance of 30% BW is recommended prior to performing movements concerning stretch reflex mechanism.</p> <p> </p>

The impact of practicing sports and physical activities on life quality level among a sample of master’s students after the Corona pandemic

Background and Study Aim. Research has shown that practicing sports and physical activities positively influences the quality of life level for master’s students. This research aims to identify the standard levels of life quality among master’s students practicing physical activities after the Corona pandemic. Material and Methods. This study adopted a descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of 90 master’s students from the Physical Education and Sports department. Among them, 45 students specialized in a collective sport (basketball), and the other 45 specialized in an individual combat sport (judo). To measure the level of life quality, we utilized the Quality of Life Scale as the designated instrument. Results. The study's findings revealed a high level of quality of life among master’s students engaging in sport activities. Moreover, significant differences were observed in the quality of life based on the type of sports specialization, between collective and individual sports. This suggests that engaging in sports activities positively impacts the quality of life. Specifically, students from the judo group exhibited a higher quality of life level compared to those in the basketball group. Conclusions. These findings suggest the potential of tailored physical activity programs, especially those focusing on individual sports, to enhance life quality among master’s students. This research contributes to the growing body of evidence advocating for the integration of physical activities into educational curricula to support students' overall well-being.

The article is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Valery P. Ivashchenko, a labor veteran, honored figure in the field of physical education and sports, an experienced teacher, scientist, practitioner, associate professor of the department of physical education. His career is traced from a person passionate about sports to the head of a teaching staff. The important role of V.P. Ivashchenko’s scientific activities for the development of the department, his participation in all-Russian and international conferences, writing articles, developing educational programs and manuals are emphasized. The stages of the biography are presented: studying at the Leningrad Institute of Physical Culture named after P.F. Lesgaft, coaching, refereeing, postgraduate studies, defending a candidate’s thesis, teaching at the Institute of Physical Culture, heading the department of physical education at the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. The article briefly highlights the main points of the methodological, practical and pedagogical activities of V.P. Ivashchenko, namely, conducting educational classes, opening sports sections, preparing university teams for participation in competitions at various levels. The authors of the article mentioned Valery Pavlovich’s well-deserved awards for many years of conscientious work in the field of physical culture and sports, as well as the conferment of honorary titles. His high level of professionalism, creative attitude to work, desire for an active lifestyle and remarkable human qualities were noted. Biographical information in the article is presented by V.P. Analysis of verbal and non-verbal relations in football

Communication on the football field takes place in the form of verbal or non-verbal communication. Verbal and non-verbal communication in football function in parallel, and in turn complement each other, accelerating decisions, understanding situations to improve team actions.
 Verbal communication is where you use words or phrases to help convey information to a teammate, as opposed to nonverbal communication where you use body language, eye contact, or hand gestures to convey a message to your teammate.
 The combination of these communication methods will help teams provide more information to players on the football field, helping them make faster and better decisions both on and off the field.
 To study the issue, a questionnaire was developed to determine the expediency of combining verbal and non-verbal training methods. The questionnaire was developed by a team of authors, employees of NAU at the department of physical education and sports self-improvement.

 The research aims to Building a measure of cognitive achievement of the futsal law for students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the College of Basic Education - University of Mosul.The researcher used the descriptive method for its suitability to the problem of the research and its experience, as the research sample consisted of students of the third year of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - College of Basic Education - University of Mosul for the academic year (2019-2020) and their number (77) students distributed in three classrooms, The number of students in the first hall is (26), the second (25) and the third (26), due to the fact that this subject is taught for this stage of study. The researcher used the statistical bag (25 SPSS) and using the related statistical laws (percentage, arithmetic mean, simple correlation coefficient (Pearson)., Standard deviation, (t) test for the significance of differences between the averages of the related samples., (T) test for differences Among the averages for (independent) unrelated samples, chi test, Spearman's correction equation (coefficient of stability x 2) / (1 + coefficient of stability), torsion modulus(, The researcher reached the following conclusion The building of the cognitive achievement measure of the futsal law for students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the College of Basic Education – University, In light of the results obtained, the researcher recommends the following- Adopting the measure of cognitive achievement prepared by the researcher in this study, Conducting studies similar to the current study of other team games laws.
 

The Effect of Using Programmed Instruction on Students' Learning of Javelin Effectiveness on Third-Year Students at Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

Abstract:Teaching methods that actively engage the student and entrust him with learning tasks are among the important and successful methods of delivering the educational material to the student, and on this basis the researcher set out to test programmed education that allows the student to be effective and able to make decisions and advance learning according to his capabilities, and through the researcher's modest experience in Teaching the field and field subject I noticed the weakness of the skill performance of the third stage students in the javelin event because of the difficulty of learning that is characterized by this event, and to solve this problem the researcher used linear programmed education through designing an educational CD that displays the educational material and exercises that the student follows to learn performance The skills to see them and progress in their studies and apply exercises according to the speed of his learning and his possibilities to reach learning, under the supervision of the subject teacher. Where the researcher believes that the use of programmed learning may increase students' ability to achieve better learning through reading, follow-up, and performing exercises in the educational CD. The aim of the research is to identify the effect of using the programmed teaching method on learning the skill performance of the effectiveness of javelin throwing among students of the third stage / Department of Physical Education / College of Basic Education / University of Diyala. As for the research hypotheses, they were represented by the existence of statistically significant significant differences between each of the following: 1. The proficiency test before and after and for the control and experimental groups, in favor of the post test. 2. The post-skill test for the control and experimental groups, for the benefit of the experimental group. The researcher used the experimental method by designing the control and experimental groups for its suitability and the nature of the problem, as she selected the research community by the intentional method, which is the third stage in the Department of Physical Education, College of Basic Education. The research sample was represented by (15) students representing the experimental group and (15) students representing the control group. The control group studied using the traditional method, while the experimental group studied using programmed education. As for the most important findings of the research, they were thus represented 1- Programmed education has an effect on learning skill performance better than the used method. 2- The interaction of students in the experimental group in viewing and following up on the prepared tablet according to the programmed teaching. As for the most important recommendations, they were: - 1- Preparing educational tablets according to the programmed education for each of the square and field activities. 2- Using programmed education in games and other skills other than the field and the field

The Effect of the Competitive Learning Method according to the Training Network Exercises in Learning some Football Skills for Students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The research aims to preparing educational units using the competitive learning method according to network exercises that fit the capabilities of the research sample. And identifying the effect of an educational curriculum with educational units using the learning method according to the training network exercises to learn some football skills.As for the research hypotheses:- There are statistically significant differences between the results of the tribal tests and the results of the post tests for the experimental group in learning some football skills and in favor of the post tests.The researcher used the experimental method and the sample that consisted of (20) first-year students, College of Physical Education, Al-Mustansiriya University, the tools used, the means of information gathering, skill tests, exploratory experiment, scientific foundations, pre-tests, the educational curriculum and its implementation, post-tests and statistical methods.The researcher reached some conclusions and recommendations, including: The proposed educational curriculum using competitive learning according to the training network exercises has a positive effect on learning the level of skill performance under study among the sample students.The researcher recommends the adoption of teaching by competitive learning according to the training network exercises, in addition to the teaching followed to learn basic football skills in faculties and departments of physical education and sports sciences
