Pendampingan Masyarakat dalam Upaya Pengembangan Daya Tarik Wisata Alam dan Budaya Kasepuhan Ciptagelar

The Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar traditional village is in Sukabumi Regency, West Java. The majority of the village population lives from rice cultivation, and the village is very attached to the culture of their ancestors. The combination of cultural and natural aspects offers an experience to tourists. Tourism development that combines these two aspects allows the creation of sustainable and responsible tourism products, which not only increase economic value but also preserve and respect cultural heritage and natural sustainability. Community service activities carried out aim to provide input to traditional stakeholders and the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar community in identifying and analyzing potential tourist attractions from a cultural and natural perspective and strategies for developing tourist attractions. Community service activities in the form of community assistance were carried out on December 17, 2023. The results included identifying natural and cultural tourist attractions in Kasepuhan Ciptagelar and providing information about tourism potential, tourism management, and tourism marketing as input to traditional stakeholders and local communities.

Cultural Tourist Attractions at The Cap Go Meh Festival in Singkawang City

Cultural tourism is one of the supporting or driving factors for the Indonesian tourism sector which plays quite an important role. Culture can be an attraction that can attract domestic and foreign tourists to learn about a culture in a particular area, one of which is the Cap Go Meh Festival in Singkawang City. The Cap Go Meh Festival has now become an annual event that has been seen by the eyes of the world since 2008 and was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) 2020 and then named as one of the best events in Indonesia's Top 10 in 2023. Through the Cap Go Meh Festival as a cultural attraction , apart from being an entertainment event, it is also a cultural communication tool that represents traditions, history, culture, and introduces the regional culture of a place. The research was conducted to determine the attractiveness of the Cap Go Meh Festival cultural tourism which will be held in 2023 using the qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects used key informants, namely the Deputy Chief Executive, Dayak Traditional Institution, and Participants of the 2023 Cap Go Meh Festival. The research results showed that the Cap Go Meh Festival met the criteria as an attraction that had aspects of uniqueness, beauty and value contained in it.

Innovating the Piriang Diateh Karambia Dance as a Cultural Tourism Asset in the Solok City

The potential of local culture, namely Piriang Diateh Karambia Dance in tourism development, is part of a product of human creativity that has economic value. This innovative goal is to analyze local culture as a cultural tourism attraction in Solok City which is packaged in the form of performances. Piriang Diateh Karambia dance is in the tourist bag in Solok City. This service method used is qualitative analysis through direct observation and indepth interviews with related parties. To analyze the potential and problems in the local culture of Piariang Diateh Karambia Dance as a cultural tourism attraction at the location where Piriang Diateh Krambia Dance grows including internal and external potential and problems. Local culture of Piriang Diateh Karambia Dance, especially in Solok City in general, has unique potential and art product centers need to be innovative as a means of performing arts that can increase cultural tourism. Innovative strategies as an increase in the local culture of Piariang Diateh Karambia Dance will attract tourists who come to the cultural bag in Solok City. Innovative local culture of Piriang Diateh Karambia Dance in Solok City, made into attractive packaging as a performing art to come to Solok City. Besides being presented as a performing art that will stimulate community economic growth through UMKM in natural tourism pockets in Solok City.

A Survey on the Current Situation of Japanese Translation Issues and Translation Strategies for Cultural Tourism Attractions in Langzhong City

Langzhong City has abundant cultural and tourism resources, with numerous famous cultural and tourism attractions such as Langzhong Ancient City and Tengwang Pavilion. At the same time, the Langzhong Municipal Government also closely adheres to the goal of "high-quality construction of world ancient city tourism destinations" and unwaveringly adheres to the development strategy of "strengthening the city through industry and revitalizing the city through culture and tourism". However, there are many problems in the Japanese translation and promotion of cultural and tourist attractions in Langzhong City, which will greatly constrain the healthy development of the tourism industry in Langzhong City. Therefore, this article focuses on studying the Japanese translation issues of famous cultural and tourist attractions in Langzhong City, including the Japanese translation gaps of scenic spots, as well as the mistranslation and omission of some scenic spots. Based on this, targeted translation strategies are proposed to address the issues of Japanese translation gaps, inconsistent Japanese names, mistranslation and omission of unique cultures (such as Spring Festival culture), and Chinese Japanese expressions in Japanese translated texts of cultural and tourist attractions in Langzhong City.

Community-Based Mangrove Ecotourism On Jeflio Island, Mayamuk District, Sorong District, Southwest Papua

The aim of the study was to analyze the value of coastal local wisdom of the indigenous people of Jeflio Island for the development of mangrove ecotourism. In the research method used qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data analysis includes analysis of local wisdom values. Based on research, the Jeflio community has local wisdom in the form of calls for conservation known in the form of recommendations such as "Nani Mi Wawolom Ti Eges Gu" (the native language of the Moi tribe), Pamali (prohibition) in certain areas/areas, Sasi - Customs and ceremonies," barapen" as well as local handicrafts such as making senate/mats, woven bags, "bayayai", boats, oars and spears. Local Wisdom Through Advice “Nani Mi Wawolom Ti Eges Gu” comes from the language of the Moi tribe which means protecting nature together. Local wisdom, such as local skills, traditional ceremonies and local values, is a cultural tourism attraction that can be empowered by tourism managers as creative industries to develop mangrove ecotourism to attract tourists and support local community economic development. One of the improvements in existing facilities in the Jeflio Mangrove Ecotourism Area is a souvenir shop that can be used to sell local Jeflio community crafts. In order to maintain and maintain the infrastructure of the Jeflio Mangrove Ecotourism Area, local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation and togetherness are very much needed. There are still weaknesses in the use of local wisdom in Jeflio because local wisdom owned by the community has not been legitimized.

The role of augmented reality for sustainable development: Evidence from cultural heritage tourism

Issues of sustainability have gained interest and priority, examining ways organisations can protect environmental and cultural heritage, whilst addressing stakeholders' needs. Research exploring the role of Augmented Reality (AR) for sustainable tourism development has been limited. This study adopts the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework, to explore how AR can improve tourism attraction sustainability and create business benefits beyond enhanced visitor experiences. A UNESCO-recognised small cultural heritage tourism attraction in the UK was selected as a case study. Adopting a stakeholder approach, 50 interviews were conducted and analysed using thematic analysis. This study reveals AR presents strategic opportunities to achieve social, economic, and environmental sustainability, extending the current understanding of the TBL in a small tourism business context. We propose AR as a tool to help tourism attractions ensure their long-term viability and sustainability, and the findings provide important insight into how to achieve this.

MANAGEMENT OF YEH AYA HULU DAM POTENTIAL AS A COMMUNITY-BASED NATURAL TOURISM ATTRACTION IN SENGANAN VILLAGE, PENEBEL SUB-DISTRICT, TABANAN DISTRICT

Yeh Aya Hulu Dam has the potential to be developed into a natural tourist attraction in Senganan Village. The potential is inadequate, the village that still does not pay attention to this potential causes the Yeh Aya Hulu Dam to be not managed properly and the overall potential
 has not been explored. This study aims to determine the management of Yeh Aya Hulu's potential as a community-based natural tourism attraction. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods, using Tourism Attraction theory 6A, Tourism Management theory and Tourism Impact theory. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using three data analysis models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method, using the theory of Tourist Attraction 6A, Tourism Management, and Tourism Impact. Data collection techniques were collected through observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using three data analysis models: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
 The results showed that the potential of Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction with the 6A theory is that attractions consist of natural, artificial, and cultural tourist attractions with good access and are easy to reach by tourists. Facilities include a parking area for two-wheeled vehicles while for four-wheeled vehicles, parking on the side of the road, toilets and changing rooms that still need to be put up to standard, and stalls. Tourists can enjoy views of the rice fields, swim, play tube tubing, and buy food. Additional services that still need to be available and tour packages will be planned in the future. The management of Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction holds the concept of CBT (Community-Based Tourism) which applies the functions of tourism management, including planning, organizing, actuating, monitoring, and motivation. The impact of managing Bendungan Yeh Aya Hulu as a natural tourist attraction on the community is divided into environmental, socio-cultural, and economic impacts.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE AUTHENTICITY OF TRI EKA BUANA VILLAGE AS A TOURISM ATTRACTION

This study aims to examine the potential for developing the authenticity of Tri Eka Buana Village as a tourist attraction. Research uses qualitative data. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and literature study. Informants were taken from community leaders who understood the implications of tourism development using a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results show that this village has authentic potential in the form of natural and cultural tourist attractions that can be developed into tourist attractions. The authenticity that is owned consists of 3 categories, namely: objective authenticity, constructed authenticity and existential authenticity. The objective authenticity possessed is in the form of natural tourist attractions such as: Bukit Abah, Dukuh Sakti Waterfall, Puncak Luhur Bukit Abah Temple, and Tirta Danu Seliwah. Constructed authenticity in the form of exotic traditional culture in the form of the Umananing Malini Dance. Existential authenticity, namely the traditional drink of Balinese Arak, which is useful as a means of prayer for Hindus. For this reason, the authentic potential that is owned must be maintained, preserved, and developed by the local community as a competitive advantage for tourism villages so that they can compete competitively. It is recommended to the manager, in the effort to develop authenticity, this can be done by: packaging tourist attractions as special interest-based attractions based on nature and culture, highlighting their beauty, uniqueness and authenticity; presents educational tourism based on nature and culture; involve the community professionally in the management of community-based tourism so as to increase the sense of belonging to caring for a tourist village

Tourist Attraction Appraisal and Local Environment Improvement: Some Evidence from China

This paper analyzes the relationship between tourist attraction appraisal and local environment improvement. Using a panel data set of 150 top tourist cities in China from 2004 to 2019, the paper adopts a two-way fixed effects model to test the impact of 5A-level tourist attraction appraisal on local environment improvement. The main conclusions are given as follows: First, 5A-level tourist attraction appraisal can motivate local governments to improve the local environment. Second, the environmental improvement effect of 5A-level tourist attraction appraisal is influenced by a city’s tourism resource dependence. In cities with higher tourism resource dependence, 5A-level tourist attraction appraisal is more conducive to improving the local environment. Third, 5A-level tourist attraction appraisal has caused stronger environmental improvement effects for natural tourist attractions than for cultural tourist attractions. These results highlight that urban planners should pay attention to the mechanism of tourist attraction appraisal to improve the urban environment, while promoting economic development.

The Development of Sustainable Tourism Destination Area: Spatial Planning in The Tuktuk Siadong Tourist Village, Samosir Regency

Lake Toba is still surrounded by a stunningly lush environment and one of the biggest lakes in Asia and the world. Gradually, this tourist destination began to be recognized by the people of Indonesia and also the world. The tourist village located in Tuktuk Siadong Village is in an area of the peninsula of Lake Toba, in this tourist village you can find many hotels with various choices and always offer direct views of Lake Toba. This study aimed to describe the spatial development of Tuktuk Siadong Village in Samosir Regency based on tourist destination attributes such as tourist attractions and tourist characteristics. This study used a qualitative descriptive methodology to assess spatial development considering the attributes of popular tourist sites, including tourist attractions and visitor traits. The results showed that the spatial development in the study area was more spread out following the existing circulation path and following the traditional Batak development pattern which produces clusters and is unrelated to the major transportation channel. Tuktuk Siadong Village will become a tourist destination, with cultural tourism attractions from Huta Batak in sight. The landscape, which is a component of the spatial structure, must be preserved along with traditional settlements. The spatial development of the tourism area on Lake Toba can refer to the model that has been prepared so that it can make tourism on Lake Toba in a better and more sustainable direction.

Development Model of Traditional Ritual Festivalization as Cultural Tourism Attraction in Padang Panjang City, West Sumatra

Traditional rituals were part of the daily life of the Minangkabau and Mentawai indigenous peoples in the past. Since the arrival of Islam, the understanding that has developed in Minangkabau society is "adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi Kitabullah", which means that adat refers to Shari'a, Shari'a refers to the Koran. Halal branding has become a framework for developing tourism in West Sumatra which has resulted in tensions with the indigenous Mentawai people who do not adhere to Islam. The Festival Ritual Nagari raised in this thesis raises both rituals from the culture of the Minangkabau and Mentawai indigenous peoples. This thesis discusses the festivalization of traditional rituals carried out in the city of Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. This research aims to enrich cultural tourism attractions that are inclusive of Mentawai traditional culture so as to achieve the common goal of increasing visitors to West Sumatra. This research was conducted in a qualitative descriptive manner with cultural thematic analysis methods. In-depth interviews were conducted with stakeholders involved in developing the traditional ritual festival in Padang Panjang. The results of this study indicate that the development of traditional rituals as a cultural tourism attraction requires a development model so that the ritual festivals carried out can be sustainable. This study shows that the collaboration of stakeholders greatly influences the continuity of traditional ritual festivals. In addition to the development model, an event management flow chart for the Festival Ritual Nagari 2 and the 2023-2026 Nagari Festival Ritual event calendar were also found. The active collaboration of all stakeholders is suggested so that the Festival Ritual Nagari can be carried out continuously in the future. The establishment of regulations regarding the festival of traditional rituals is needed because it does not only function as a cultural tourism attraction but also cultural diplomacy.

The development of cultural event strategy: Swot analysis and QSPM approach

n order to support the Banyuwangi Rebound Movement, Pondoknongko Village Government has launched an Economic and Tourism Improvement Program in 2022 through the Pondoknongko Festival Event. The purpose of this research is to: find out the management of the Pondoknongko Festival event; identify potential cultural tourism attractions; identify internal and external factors for the development of cultural tourism events; and determine the priority order of alternative strategies for developing cultural tourism events in Pondoknongko Village. This study used a descriptive research method with a mixed-method approach, exploratory sequential design model. The analysis technique used is Internal External (IE) Matrix, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that the Pondoknongko Festival Event Management had been well implemented starting from the research stage, design, planning, coordination, to the evaluation stage; Pondoknongko Village has a variety of potential cultural tourism attractions that can be developed and packaged as cultural tourism event activities; the position of the development of cultural tourism events is in cell IV grow and build and 10 alternative strategies have been formulated with a priority strategy that can be applied is to arrange tour packages that are integrated with cultural tourism events in Pondoknongko Village.

CARTOGRAPHY FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM OF CULTURAL TOURISM ATTRACTIONS AROUND SAWASWAREESRIMARAM TEMPLE, DUSIT DISTRICT, BANGKOK

This research was conducted to develop tourist attractions, especially cultural tourism attractions in the community area around Sawaswareesrimaram Temple, Dusit district, Bangkok. The objective is to develop spatial potential by applying geographic information systems for mapping local communities in location determination, planning, and spatial development. The methodology was obtained from field surveys by recording the coordinates of cultural tourist attractions with Global Positioning System (GPS) and using geographic information systems for mapping. It also adopts the principle of analyzing the density of attractions with Kernel Density. The results reveal that there were 4 types of cultural attractions in Dusit District: Institution, Palace and Museum, Religious places, and Restaurant – Street food. The distribution pattern of most cultural attractions was in the south-western area of the study area, with the density of cultural attractions greater than 1 km2. Cultural attractions in the form of Restaurant and Street food were found to have a very high density in the Sri Yan area, showing a level greater than 1 km2 along Sam Sen road and Nakhon Chai Si road. As for Thewet district, there was a density level of 0.2-0.6 km2, which were all distributions of street food, dense at the intersection of roads. In summary, the mapping can provide local people with a tool for planning cultural sites, to enhance their livelihoods, love and cherish their homeland, and increase their income, leading to future tourism developments.

TOURIST RESOURCES AND TOURIST POTENTIAL OF MINDORO ISLAND IN THE PHILIPPINES

The article is devoted to the study of the tourism potential of Mindoro Island in the Philippines. The total area of Mindoro Island, which is in the Luzon islands group, is 10571.8 km2 and the total population of the island is 1,4 million. Mindoro, the seventh largest island in the Philippines, is a mountainous and rugged island. The Mindoro Island, situated in the triangle formed by Luzon, Palawan and Panay islands, is one of the most visited and most popular tourism centers of the Philippines. In this study, the geographical location, natural and human geographical features of the island of Mindoro, as well as the tourist attractions and tourism advantages are briefly discussed. The main purpose of the study is to acquaint a wide range of readers with tourism resources, tourism potential, natural and cultural tourist attractions of Mindoro Island and offer new options for recreation for curious tourists. The paper provides a multivariate analysis of tourism on the island by discussing the tourism advantages and disadvantages of Mindoro Island. As a result of the study, the authors have prepared a useful tourist guide for foreign tourists who will visit the island. It was revealed that Mindoro Island is not as big as Luzon, it is not as crowded as Mindanao, it does not have as many luxurious tourist spots as Boracay, and it cannot be said that it is a famous tourist destination like Palawan Island. However, this tropical island attracts thousands of holidaymakers from all over the world every year due to its unique natural beauty and breathtaking tourist attractions. Mindoro Island can offer an alternative travel option, an exciting travel itinerary and an interesting travel destination for every curious tourist 365 days a year.

Tinjauan Potensi Fasilitas Daya Tarik Wisata Lubuk Paraku Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang

The background of this research is due to the lack of optimal development of the tourist attraction of Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City. Lubuk Paraku has less potential to be developed in terms of the 4A tourist attraction indicators, namely Accessibility, Attraction, Amenities, Ancillary Service. This study describes the things that explain how the potential for tourist attraction in Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, Padang City is based on the potential tourist attractions in Lubuk Paraku.This study uses a descriptive method with qualitative data, and uses a survey method. The data obtained were obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. In conducting this research, the researchers involved 5 people who became informants in the study consisting of 2 Lubuk Paraku tourism managers, 1 local community member, and 2 visitors from the Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction. Researchers used purposive sampling techniques in conducting research and data analysis was carried out by means of reduction, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the tourist attraction of Lubuk Paraku, Lubuk Kilangan District, has the potential to be developed in terms of attractions, such as natural tourist attractions and cultural tourist attractions as well as water and tropical forest tourist attractions along rivers, accessibilities such as access to get to Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction, Amenities such as existing facilities and facilities that can be developed, and Ancillary Services such as additional services and services for visitors while in Lubuk Paraku tourist attraction. With the development of Lubuk Paraku Tourism Attraction, it is hoped that it can have a good and positive impact on the world of tourism, especially in the city of Padang.

The Existence of Customary Law in Preserving Culture as a Tourism Attraction

This research addresses customary law's role in maintaining culture as a cultural tourism attraction in Senaru village. This study used a qualitative approach by interviewing three key informants responsible for implementing customary law in Senaru Village. This study concludes that customary law plays a significant role in maintaining the existence of culture as a cultural tourism attraction. The customary law of Senaru Village has solid legal principles, substance, structure, and sanctions and is still maintained by the Senaru Village community. This study hopes to encourage the peoples to continue preserving and obeying the customary law in their village by respecting the existence of the Raden, Toak Lokaq, Pembekel, and Kyai, and adhering to the norms of customary law that apply in order to maintain social harmony. Moreover, it is advised for domestic and foreign tourists to continue respecting and upholding the applicable customary law by not violating any prohibitions in Senaru village. Lastly, the local government is urged to continue recognizing and protecting the customary law community to ensure sustainability.

Analysis of Traditional Tourism Cultural Heritage --Taking Wuzhen as an Example

In the current environment of collective commercialization of ancient town tourism, the authenticity of its performance culture needs to be further studied. This paper conducts a field survey of the Wuzhen Hongyuantai dyeing workshop, a cultural tourist attraction in Wuzhen, it shows that, for example, the core of the Wuzhen Blue Printed Fabric Workshop Hongyuantai, a cultural tourist attraction in Wuzhen, has been diluted into a commercial performance that attracts tourists. The authenticity of the culture behind it has been destroyed. With the further development of the region and the establishment of the brand, the idea of reshaping the authenticity has also been discussed again. This paper suggests orderly and reasonable organizations of traditional festival activities which can promote residents and tourists' understanding and integration of traditional culture, so as to inherit and protect this local authenticity as well as the real culture spirit behind.

Reinvigorating a Traditional Balinese House: Managing Tourist Facilities and Maintaining Architectural Traditions

Traditional Balinese houses in tourist areas are transforming, whereas, on the other hand, Balinese have tried to maintain the identity of the traditional houses to attract tourists. This transformation is a paradoxical phenomenon in which people have transformed their houses to gain economic benefits from tourism. The absence of an appropriate transformation model, which can be used as a guide for the community in utilizing houses in tourism economic activities, allows for the filtration of the tourism function into traditional spatial and cultural spaces. Therefore, this study is urgent to be carried out to maintain the potential of the house as a cultural tourist attraction while at the same time gaining economic benefits. To achieve this goal, a tiered method was developed starting from baseline data collection, an inventory of the texture and character of changes in traditional houses. A more in-depth exploration of traditional house changes using samples based on stratified random sampling and interviews will reveal and create traditional house change innovations. It is continued with the creation of design innovations in the traditional house transformation model. Finally, an analysis was carried out on creating design innovations to transform traditional houses into tourist facilities without abandoning the meaning and values of a traditional house.

The Ngabungbang Cultural Festival as a Tourist Attraction in Cimande Village, Bogor Regency

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to study the history of the Ngabungbang tradition festival, the development of this tradition, and the emerging effects of the Ngabungbang festival as a cultural tourism attraction in Cimande. Method: This study used a qualitative descriptive method through in-depth interviews with several participants, using a functionalist anthropology approach because it tries to understand traditional values related to local customs and their interrelationships as one of the tourist attractions in Cimande village. Results: The conclusion from this investigation is that the Ngabungbang tradition is part of the cultural heritage of the Cimande people, this tradition has been practiced for decades starting in the 1930s. During the Ngabungbang tradition procession, there are several traditional activities ahead of the visit to the Kasepuhan Cimande tomb. Furthermore, there are three effects of the Ngabungbang festival activities as a cultural tourism attraction for Cimande Village residents, namely economic effects, religious effects, and social effects. Contribution: The results of this study are expected to provide information about the history of the Nkumpulbang festival and then the importance of maintaining the original cultural values of the Ngabungbang festival as a tourist attraction that can have a positive impact on the residents of Cimande Village, such as economic impacts, religious impacts, and social impacts.

Exploring Cultural Tourism Potential in Adamawa State Nigeria: A Case of Mubi Town

Cultural tourism plays a vital role globally. The study aims to appraise cultural tourism potential in Mubi town, Adamawa state, Nigeria. The study employed Arc. GIS.10.3 and remote sensing for location map generation. Data was generated from one hundred structured questionnaires using systematic random sampling techniques. Descriptive statistics were utilized for correlating the cultural tourism potentials (CTP) and tourism industry management (TIM). Spearman ranking techniques were used for the respondents' perception scores. The results indicated a correlation between cultural tourism potentials (CTP) and tourism industry management (TIM) and tested for reliability. The results uncovered a very significant connection between the variables at (0.01, 2-Tailed). This showed cultural tourism potential depends on effective management. Additionally, the respondents ranking depicted that horse riding maintained the highest because of its significance in the culture of northern Nigerians, Sallah of Both Eidl Fitr and Adha celebrations recorded the second position, while traditional housing, local wrestling, and Mauludul Rasul all received significant responses as a very important cultural tourism attraction in the Mubi. Recommendations on accommodations, food, and beverages are essential to be upgraded. Government and private bodies are to form a partnership.
