The Research and Analysis of the Application of Artistic Design Thinking in Design

The purpose is to study the application thinking of art design, with the unified expansion of conscious initiative as the core. Start with the essence and connotation of artistic design thinking. This paper discusses the nature, function, and application of artistic design thinking and the value of design. First of all, this paper analyzes “art design thinking”, which is divided into objective content and subjective mind fusion. It is a thinking mode applicable to the field of art, with a certain content of artistic thought and a consistent way of thinking, and emphasizes the principle of people-oriented, focusing on emotional experience and unique aesthetics. The paper explains that the characteristics of art design thinking are to understand things, to change things, and to associate things, and emphasizes that design should return to things eventually. Art design thinking is analyzed from the nature, function, and application of design thinking. Practical value, innovative value. In the design, the effective use of the thinking of art design can optimize the design. Then, it analyzes the original function and play of artistic design thinking in design. This involves the cognition, understanding, and comprehensive thinking of the original thing to combine image and rational thinking to extend and optimize creative ideas. Imagination and artistic thinking are transformed into new practical creativity, and art design thinking is used to optimize the design, so that the design has practical aesthetic value, to meet the needs of consumers. In terms of application analysis, it emphasizes the integration of cultural elements into artistic design thinking. This integration reflects that the designer and the spirit of creation cannot be separated, and the spirit of creation is fully reflected.

Ritual, Risk, and Danger: Avoidance Rituals among Antiquity Looters

This paper deals with the role of taboos and avoidance rituals as a means of psycho-cultural adaptation to taking personal risks among illicit antiquity looters in the Black Sea region of Turkey. My ethnographic fieldwork showed that antiquity looters indeed cared more about the possibility of being crushed by spiritual creatures than of being caught by law enforcement. Spiritual creatures, namely jinn, are the most unpredictable threats imagined by illicit antiquity looters. They force looters to perform rituals to mitigate the perceived danger, including temporary or permanent loss of sanity, loss of limb, or loss of life. The paper concludes that looters’ avoidance rituals play a functional role rather than a rational one, and they are performed to show that looters are willing to get along with a spiritual environment beyond their control.

Missiology Meets Ecotheology: Creation Faith in an Intercultural Perspective

Indigenous religions around the world have brought forth functional attitudes towards their natural environment that have – until recently – proved successful. Thus, it can be assumed that a culture's creation spirituality and ethos must be rooted in a specific natural setting to be ecologically effective. The Christian creation faith with its universal truth claim, on the other hand, is globally inclusive, but tends to remain abstract, unless it is appropriately contextualised. To counter the ecological crisis, Christian principles and values need to be transferred to particular contexts to generate ecologically effective creation spiritualities, whereas indigenous beliefs ought to be adapted to meet the challenges of fast-changing environments in order to keep their relevance. This challenge reflects the general dialectic of the universality and the particularity of Christianity in the field of creation theology. The latter has not been a focus of systematic missiological considerations yet. Drawing on postcolonial theory, specifically Homi Bhabha's concept of hybridity, which enables a new perspective on syncretism, this essay attempts to outline the specific requirements of an intercultural theology of creation. Referring to case studies from Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa presented in a series of intercontinental conferences on creation spirituality, the article will explore modes of synergetic cooperation between religious traditions. It will show how ecologically valuable Christian principles have been successfully integrated with indigenous religious beliefs in selected natural and cultural environments and point out how inculturation works both ways.

Spirit in Creation: Mizo Primal Cosmology and Its Implications for Anthropogenic Climate Change Concern

In the face of an escalating climate crisis, humanity is confronted not only with pressing environmental challenges but also with a profound moral imperative to protect our planet for the sake of generations yet unborn. This paper embarks on an urgent re-examination and expansion of the timeless inquiry into the God—human—world relationship as perceived within Mizo primal cosmology. This unique worldview offers a perspective on God's interaction with creation through the lens of pneumatology. In the midst of our contemporary environmental predicament, this exploration holds the potential to enrich theological discourse by shedding light on alternative perspectives of the God—human—world relationship. The inherited theology, which often revolves around anthropocentrism and other-worldly spiritual concerns, is found wanting in addressing climate change concerns. It tends to limit God's relationship with creation, neglecting its holistic dimensions. In contrast, the Mizo primal cosmology seems to offer a potential viewpoint to bridge this theological deficit, highlighting the intricate interplay between God, humanity and the environment. By bridging the traditional and the contemporary, this paper seeks to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about humanity’s role in safeguarding our planet and nurturing a more harmonious coexistence with the natural world. Ultimately, it endeavours to inspire a renewed sense of responsibility for our shared environment and the intricate web of life it sustains.

Volition: A cloud-based innovative platform for accelerating startup entrepreneurship designed to engage students in the full complexity of creating for the marketplace within higher education

Normally in the past, the complexity of creation was only faced by the industry. Industry had the information and technology to meet the challenge and try to succeed. Today, those two ingredients are within the reach of anyone, especially university students. This is the turning point to target education toward the spirit of creation, and away from the still current aging spirit of being employed. Humanity is pushing for creation, whatever its origin, to be used for growth, productivity, welfare development and aligned with nature, making the act of creation a deeply conscious and responsible activity. Universities around the world are moving their infrastructures into these waters of education for creation, students are entering training spaces to meet immediate qualification needs, and societies are requesting an ocean of solutions. This work is focused on integrating a solution that can empower universities and students to fulfill the goal of becoming epicenters of creations, in tune with nature, and train future responsive entrepreneurs for the world. Volition is a cloud-based engine in the form of a platform for its users to become aware of the challenge of creating a solution for the market, become disciplined experts in the execution of each business responsibility, and discover what customers really want to scale the solution to the world. Volition is accompanied by an educational strategy that aims to replicate in the classroom the innovation environment at each course taught in the program, called RAIS.

Inheritance and innovation in lacquer painting teaching

Lacquer painting is an important school in the traditional painting art of our country, which has a long history and a unique artistic expression form. As an ancient and unique art form, lacquer painting has always carried the treasures of traditional culture and historical memory. However, with the progress of the times and the development of society, the teaching of lacquer painting is facing the dual challenges of inheritance and innovation. Especially, in the teaching of lacquer painting in colleges and universities, excessive emphasis is placed on craft techniques and theories, as well as the "painting flavor" of lacquer painting, while ignoring the expression of the creator's spirit and the innovation of the times. Strengthening the inheritance and innovation of lacquer painting has been widely valued. This paper aims to explore how to innovate on the basis of inheritance and realize the sustainable development of lacquer painting art.

The Definition, Methods and Other Related Issues of Intellectual History ——Also on the History of Martin Luther's Thoughts in China

Intellectual history, tracing the history of human thought, is the understanding and presentation of various thoughts and concepts that have appeared in human history. The Chinese term 思想史 is translated from the English terms “intellectual history” and “history of ideas”, which were once used interchangeably, especially in the 20th century, since at least two reasons: the definition of “idea” and the history of the development of academic disciplines. The use of English terms in confusion is undoubtedly a reflection of the phenomenon of different opinions on the definition of the connotation of the intellectual history. By enumerating the explanations about the meaning of intellectual history of Collingwood, Lovejoy, Isaiah Berlin, Skinner and many other famous, not only to show the ambiguity of what is intellectual history, but also to seek uniformities among the different definitions. It is that intellectual history points to the spiritual creation and experience of human beings, and can guide people to discover and reach the most real place of history. Based on their respective understanding on intellectual history, historians use various research methods to pursue the thoughts and concepts in the course of human history from the perspectives of pure history, philosophical history, social history, etc., in order to find something valuable and meaningful. On the basis of sorting out and analyzing the basic problems of intellectual history, this paper further illustrates the connotation and methods of intellectual history by taking the study of the history of Martin Luther and his thoughts in China as an example.

Spiritual Being in the Theology of Wincenty Granat

Treatises on dogmatic theology draw attention to a whole spectrum of theological topics, among which the issue of angels also finds its place. Scholastic theology dealt with this issue within the framework of the treatise on God the Creator; however, it is not exceptional that it is also treated in a separate part. In this paper, we pay attention to spiritual creatures in the context of the eminent Polish theologian Wincent Granat who emphasized respect for the Christian tradition and pointed to the vital values of Christian dogmas. In his pre-Conciliar work Catholic Dogmatics, he discussed most of the issues of dogmatic theology using the scholastic method. In his post-Conciliar work Ku człowiekowi i Bogu w Chrystusie [To Man and God in Christ], the doctrine of angels comes to the fore in close relation to Christian anthropology and its personalistic orientation.

SPIRITUALITAS DAN TEOLOGI SOSIAL PENTAKOSTAL ASIA

Asia is a locus of a society full of suffering and poverty. An active role in social life is an expected construction for the relevance of life. The article examines the spirituality and theology adopted by Pentecostals to engage in social life. The research method used is qualitative with a constructive theology approach. The research results show that the relationship between creation and history becomes essential because it provides a way to talk about the importance of action in the divinely created biophysical order while still distinguishing it from the discussion about creation as a product of divine causality. The maintenance of the Holy Spirit in creation is done with involvement in responding to social issues. When one understands creation as a biophysical order, the created order contains development in mind. In other words, the cultural mandate reflects the implicit understanding that the entire biophysical order was created in a potential state, ready for a long development process, and maintained with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The Trinity and the Arts: Toward a Christian Poetics

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to explore the question of a Christian poetics, and to see what, if anything, the doctrine of the Trinity has to do with it. Our conclusion is that the doctrine of the Trinity, far from being accidental to Christian poiesis, is fundamental to any account of it—if indeed all phenomena are analogues of the eternal phenomenality of the Son vis‐à‐vis the Father, and if all that is made is made through the Son by the power of the Creator Spirit. To this end, however, it is argued that Christian poetics implies a particular kind of metaphysics as well, namely, an analogical metaphysics, which is able to do justice to the interplay of essence and existence in creatures, which is cognate with the aesthetic interplay of form and novelty. The result of these explorations is not only a proposed standard, comprising four theses, for Christian art, but also an ecumenical proposal for how to think about the Trinity (and the Filioque) anew—not by dispensing with Augustine's psychological analogy, but by supplementing it with an artistic analogy, specifically, with the help of the patristic trope of the Son as the Ars Patris in whom the Father eternally delights. The final result is a clearer picture of the role of the Holy Spirit, in God and in creation, and of the spiritual‐poetic vocation of the imago Dei.

Eksistensi Komunitas Musik Metal Di Kota Bandung Tahun 1989-2018

This study aims to determine (1) the background existence of the metal music communities in Bandung 1989-1994, (2) the existence of the metal music communities in Bandung 1995-2018, (3) the role of the metal music communities in Bandung in preserving the Sundanese cultural values. The results showed the formation of metal music communities in Bandung was initiated by the formation of three metal music groups in 1989 namely Funeral, Orthodox, and Jasad. In 1990 Funeral initiated the formation of the first metal music community in Bandung, namely the Bandung Death Brutality Area (Badebah). The process of maintaining the existence of the metal music communities in Bandung starts from the spirit of creation which results in music festivals, and compilation albums. In 2008, the existence of the metal music community in Bandung faltered due to the AACC Tragedy which made it difficult for metal bands to perform. The metal music communities in Bandung made it a difficult time to carry out international movements by performing abroad. The movement made an outcome through a program called Wacken Metal Battle Indonesia. The metal music communities in Bandung make their collaborate with Sundanese culture through metal music, which is called Sundanese Metal. The results of the Sundanese Metal movement are metal songs in the Sundanese language and traditional Sundanese art performances in metal band performances.

Armand Point’s The Princess and the Unicorn

Abstract This article discusses the literary and visual symbolism in Armand Point’s The Princess and the Unicorn. Point composed several versions of this mysterious legend in pastel, enamel, and bas-relief. Under the artistic influences of the medieval tapestry of the Lady and the Unicorn, the French painter Gustave Moreau, and the Italian Renaissance painter Alessandro Botticelli, Point unveils a spiritual creation that in its form, content, and medium seeks to evoke the ‘soul’ in a work of art.

ONOMASTIC SPACE IN THE WORK OF RABGUZI “QISAS AL-ANBIYA” (BASED ON THE STORY “ADAM AND EVE”)

The article considers the onomastic space in the work of Rabguzi “Qisas al-Anbiya”, the ethnolinguistic nature of the onomastic names found in the story. When using onomastic names and determining the function of onomastic names in order to convey information in a story, the author's thought and the rights of the author in the story were taken into account.
 The system of names in the onomastic space of the Kazakh and Turkic peoples in their current form is a product of the centuries-old collective thought of the peoples and tribes that lived in each historical period, a common spiritual creation in the cultural sense. The onomastic names found in the relic of Rabguzi “Qisas al-Anbiya” determine the realities of everyday life, history, experience, economic culture and worldview, traditions and beliefs of the language community of that time. In this prose story, the language and history, cultural values, religious and personal views of the Turks are presented through the knowledge of the author.
 The story contains the names of sheikhs who preached Islam to the Muslim community, the names of the heroes of the work, caliphs, prophets, saints and companions, angels, their nicknames and derivative names. In linguistics, the relevance of studying the language of the story in the works of Rabguzi, especially its onomastics, is growing.
 The need to study the onomastics of the story “Adam and Eve” is determined by the preservation in the monument of archaisms lost in the language. As a result of studying the article, we drew attention to the wide scope of onyms in the story and to the fact that onomastic names are language symbols that are ready to express any concept related to a given environment. Therefore, it is very important for us to understand the essence of this work.

Reincarnation in the Yoruba Ontology: Abiku

This study will present an argument on reincarnation beliefs among the Yoruba people in Nigeria, focusing on the born-to-die phenomenon, Abiku. According to the Yoruba tradition, the Abikus were once spiritual creatures before evolving into humans. But the Yoruba people's reincarnation beliefs concerning Abiku may be a myth. With the lack of medical technology in Yorubaland and other pre-colonial African nations to ascertain couples’ genotype compatibility, sickle cell anemia, and other illnesses may have been the underlying cause of child mortality. Although previous scholars have attempted an explanation of the phenomenon, most scholarly works are premised on the medical perspective of child mortality, lack of adequate healthcare, folktales, and religious beliefs. A typical phenomenon among the Yoruba is the mutilation of body parts of the children assumed to be an Abiku. They do this to easily recognize the child if he returns to the family as a new child. When newborn babies are born with mutilation marks like the ones that died, it confirms the belief that he is an Abiku. However, it is hard to determine if the Abiku phenomenon is a myth or reality. To explain and establish this, I will explore research and documented stories of reincarnation experiences of people who have been caught on this web. This will also uncover parallels in the reincarnated individuals' experiences, the consequences for these people, and the impact of reincarnation belief systems and rituals on Yoruba society.

Analysis of Key Factors Affecting Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Ability from a Big Data Perspective

To achieve rapid social and economic growth, society has raised expectations for the overall quality and competence of today’s college students in the environment of big data. College students must have a strong spirit of creation and entrepreneurship, as well as a precise level of professional knowledge and practical talents. Based on this backdrop, a weighted K-means clustering method (WK-means) is utilized to investigate the key determinants of college students’ entrepreneurial ability and their interactions with important text content, such as the college student innovation and entrepreneurship competition. To begin, extract a number of characteristics from the sample of entrepreneurial college students, particularly the entrepreneurial ability components. The sample is then divided into two groups. Entrepreneurs who succeed are categorized as positive, while those who fail are classified as negative. The clustering result yields the feature weight of each sample. The weight of each attribute is proportionate to its importance. Second, using the multivariate relationship analysis approach, the correlation between various factors is determined, and the impact of various factors on college students’ entrepreneurial capacity is further investigated. The results of the experiment demonstrate that adaptability and learning ability are the most important characteristics influencing college students’ entrepreneurial aptitude, whereas self-control has little impact.

Painting a true Christ: Art as collaboration with the creator spirit

ABSTRACT Terrence Malick’s A Hidden Life (2019) not only tells the story of Franz Jägerstätter but also depicts Malick’s deeply Catholic understanding of art and the artist’s vocation, an understanding that portrays art, and in particular art that seeks to witness to the truth Jesus Christ embodies, as a kind of costly obedience. The author explores Malick’s Catholic vision of art and its implications for Pentecostal ministry.

THE PROBLEM OF SPIRITUAL CREATION IN M. BAZHAN’S «NIGHT CONCERTS»

The article analyzes the content of the concept of «spiritual creation» and its constituent elements «spirit», «creation»; the means of verbal representation of the studied concept in revealing the content of texts and images of characters in the poetic cycle «Night concerts» are analyzed; the specific in the process of revealing the role of musicians and their works in the life of society, the influence of music on the listener, on the formation of personality are determined; the peculiarity of the poet’s «translation» of the language of music into words are defined.
 It is emphasized that music is not just a melody for M. Bazhan, it is the truth of feelings, that is why the artist translated it into the language of visible images. A careful reading of the content of M. Bazhan’s «Night concerts» allows us to single out the semantic load of the concept «Spirit»: Spirit of artist; Spirit of music; Spirit of the word (voice); Spirit of the city; Spirit of victory; Spirit-Soul; Spirit of love, and «creation» – as creativity that goes beyond human existence.
 In each poem that makes up the cycle «Night concerts», we see a personality of the Composer-Creator: E. Villa-Lobos, M. Leontovych, L. Hrabovskyi, Ya. Sibelius, F. Schubert, D. Shostakovych and singer Edith Piaf, who is also a creative person. As composers, whose personalities and destinies are revealed in the works of the artist, the Poet himself becomes a kind of a translator of the sounds of music into the sounds of poetry. M. Bazhan pays special attention to the character of Edith Piaf, whose songs became a symbol of Paris, its freedom, and the singer’s talent raised her above the crowd, even above the city roofs, in the poet’s vision she is a «midnight soothsayer», «pure prophetess» in whose character Virgin Mother is visible.
 In «Night concerts» the artist is not limited to the sound aspect of the musicians’ work. He attaches great importance to the features of the performer and composer. Because it is their inner strength, their Spirit is embodied in the works. Reading the poems that make up this cycle of poetry acquaints us not only with creativity, but also with the fate of composers and performers.

THE PHENOMENON OF DISASTROUS PROGRESS IN THE LIGHT OF CONSERVATIVE BIOETHICS

The phenomenon of the disastrous progress is analyzed in the article. This one is conditioned by the development of technoscience having biocapitalism behind it. The essence of the disastrous progress is that so-called digitalization leads to the rise of digital civilization, which is giving opportunities for the total control, new, technological form of slavery and even optimization of the size of "useless" people. As the alternative of the disastrous progress the bioethical discourse in the form of conservative bioethics is proposed. This one is considered as new philosophy. Using deconstructive approach one is demonstrating that conservative bioethics is the study about human as spiritual creature, who is connected with life as net structure just in this dimension. Thus, conservative bioethics is interpreted as radical ethics of the preservation of life, which is able to block the destructive tendency of the modern progress

Uslovi za zaštitu autorskog dela u pravu Sjedinjenih Američkih Država

This paper analyzes various conditions that one spiritual creation must provide in order to be considered an author's work, according to the law of the United States of America. Apart from the peculiarities that are the result of the Anglo-Saxon concept of copyright, there are other specifics such as the special, constitutionally provided, purpose of copyright in promoting learning, preserving the public domain and protecting copyright. Based on the provisions of the Federal Copyright Act (17 U.S.C.) and examples from the case law, the author explains how the originality of a work is interpreted, how the condition that the work must embody in a materialized medium is regulated and what are the typical types of copyrighted works. In addition, the author explains the main differences when it comes to American Copyright system and how the concept of registration is viewed, after the ratification of the Bern Convention, which is one of the most common causes of the problem of protection of works whose right holders are unknown, which is extremely notable when speaking of the protection of cultural heritage of marginalized groups in American society. The paper aims to point out the similarities and differences between the copyright of the USA and the law of the continental legal system in terms of the conditions for the protection of copyright works.

Metaphysics of Muhammad

Abstract This study analyzes the development of the theme of the “Light of Muḥammad” (al-nūr al-Muḥammadī) or the “Muḥammadan Reality” (al-ḥaqīqa al-Muḥammadiyya) among several Shiʿi and Sufi thinkers through the seventh/thirteenth century. These thinkers include Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq (d. 148/765), Sahl al-Tustarī (d. 283/896), the Ikhwān al-Ṣafāʾ (early to mid 4th/10th century), the Ismaili dāʿīs Abū Yaʿqūb al-Sijistānī (d. after 361/971) and Ḥamīd al-Dīn al-Kirmānī (d. after 411/1020), Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī (d. 505/1111) and ʿAyn al-Quḍāt (d. 526/1131), Ibn al-ʿArabī (d. 638/1240), ʿAbd al-Karīm al-Shahrastānī (d. 548/1153), and Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī (d. 672/1274). I argue that the “Light of Muḥammad” as a theological and metaphysical idea evolved historically through three distinct but cumulative phases of conceptualization: mytho-cosmological narrative, Neoplatonization, and ontological theophanization. Through these developments, the theological status of the Light of Muḥammad underwent a gradual but decisive shift from being reckoned as the first spiritual creation of God in the early period to being revered as the ontological self-manifestation of God in later periods.
