Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas X Pada Materi Ekosistem

The research was aimed to know the effect model of cooperative learning type group investigation (GI) toward critical thinking ability of students grade X on the material ecosystems at Senior High School 66 South Jakarta. The research was conducted in March 24 until May 20, 2016. The method used Quasi Eksperimental, design Pretest – Posttest Contol Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIA (total 108 siswa), through sampling by using Cluster Random Sampling. The instrument used essay test as much as 10 question integrated with six indicator critical thinking ability (formulate problems, argues, make deductions, induction, evaluating, and take decisions and actions). The result showed that N-gain average critical thinking ability in experiment class was ( = 32,36) it was higher than control class ( = 18,97). The hypotesis test with t test (sig 1%) eamed value thit (7,08) and ttable (2,38), because thit >ttable then H0 rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the effect model of cooperative learning type Group Investigation (GI) toward critical thinking ability of students grade X on the material ecosystems in Senior High School 66 South Jakarta.Keyword : Group Investigation model, critical thinking ability, ecosystem material

THE EFFECT GROUP INVESTIGATION METHOD ON LANGUAGE LEARNING OUTCOMES

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using group investigation method on second language learning outcomes (L2) in third grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Tangerang City. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method by conducting pretest and posttest in two groups. This type of experimental research method uses a nonequivalent control group design, where the experimental class is treated and the control class is not treated. This nonequivalent control group design is almost the same as the pretest and posttest control group designs, only in this design the experimental and control groups are not chosen randomly. Data collection techniques using tests. The data analysis technique was started from normality test, homogeneity test, and continued with hypothesis testing. research data, calculations to test the hypothesis can be that t count is 13.31 and t table with dk = 58. Therefore, the price of t count 13.31 1.67 = t table means the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the hypothesis alternative (H1) is accepted. Based on the research above, it can be concluded that: there is a significant effect on the second language learning outcomes (L2) of students who use cooperative learning group investigation type compared to conventional methods. Second language learning outcomes (L2) of students who use cooperative learning group investigation type are higher compared to the conventional method, it can be said that the cooperative learning type group investigation method has an effect on students' second language (L2) learning outcomes.

Efforts To Increase The Learning Outcomes Of Biology Through The Methods Of Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative learning Group Investigation. This research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research is all students as much as 352 students of VII-1 to VII-10 SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara, while its object is the students of class VII-1 as many as 34 students. The research Data is obtained through the provision of test, questionnaire, observation, and interview. The technique of data analysis is the technique of cooperative. The results showed increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes based on the test in the classical style for the initial test of 00,00% (category have not yet succeeded), the first cycle of 52,94% (category have not yet managed) and cycle II 91,18% (the category of work), which indicates an increase. The conclusion from this research is that the implementation of cooperative learning Group Investigation can improve the ability of learning outcomes biology class VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Utara

The Application of Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation to Improve Students’ Learning Activities and Learning Outcomes

This study aims to improve students’ learning activities and learning outcomes by using cooperative learning model type group investigation. This research is a classroom action research which involves 23 students of XI in SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. The research instrument consists of observation sheet, syllabus, lesson plans, guide book, group worksheet, and individual worksheet. The research is conducted in two cycles, cycle 1 and cycle 2. The research finding suggests that group investigation method can increase students’ learning activities and learning outcome. During the research, the teacher needed to consider time management in delivering the material, discussion. Then, students’ activities must be observed thoroughly. The teacher must be competent because this model requires teachers who can carry out a casual, varied and more student-focused teaching style.

The Effect of Cooperative Learning Group Investigation Type In Science With an Outdoor Learning System Approach on Problem Solving Skills and the Mastery of Concepts in Junior High School Student

The research aimed to know (1) the effect of the implementation cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on problem-solving skills, (2) the effect of the implementation cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on the mastery of concepts, and (3) the simultaneous effect of cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on problem-solving skills and the mastery of concepts. This research was a quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population was the seventh-grade students of SMP N 2 Tempel. The sample selection technique used the purposive sampling technique; class of VIII C played as an experimental class and VIII D played as control class. The instruments on data collection used problem-solving tests and mastery of concept tests. The parametric test used in this research which was an independent sample t-test followed by effect size, and MANOVA. The results showed: (1) there was an effect of the implementation cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on problem-solving skills with poor category, (2) there was an effect of the implementation cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on the mastery of concepts with high effects, and (3) there was a simultaneous effect of cooperative learning group investigation type with an outdoor learning system on problem-solving skills and the mastery of concepts.

Application of Cooperative Learning Type Group Investigation to Improve Physics learning Outcomes in Vocational Schools

This study proposes to analyze the differences in learning outcomes of pupils, who learn cooperative learning models of group investigation and conventional learning. The research sample consisted of class Xa (30 people) who learned the cooperative learning model of the group investigation model and class Xb (30 people) taught using conventional learning models with the topic of learning is basic electronic (capacitors). The sampling technique uses random sampling with a non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques consisted of written tests, observation sheets and documentation. Meanwhile, research instrument used achievement test (objective criteria) in the form of multiple-choice questions that comprise as many as 25 of the given level (C1), understanding (C2) applying (C3) and analyzed. Students' test results were analyzed using descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential statistical data analysis. The analysis results obtained that there is a difference of learning outcomes between the experimental class and a control class with an average of 80.8 to 69.6 for the control class and experimental class. From the analysis, it was found that there was no significant difference between the experimental and control classes based on the N-gain value. So it can be concluded that the group investigation learning model does not have a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Cooperative Learning Model of Group Investigation Type on Students' Critical Thinking Skill and Scientific Communication Skills

This research aims to find out the influence of the application of the group investigation cooperative learning model on critical thinking skills and the scientific communication skills of students. True Experimental Design in the form of Posttest-Only Control Design is a research design applied to this research. Analysis of the data obtained showed that the correlation coefficient value of the critical thinking skills test data was r = 0.672. The results of the t-test analysis showed that t-count = 5.671 and t-table = 2.042, which means that there is an influence on the application of the cooperative learning type group investigation model in the experimental class as seen from the coefficient of determination (KD) of 33%. The value of the correlation coefficient in the analysis of students' scientific communication skills data is r = 0.9. The value obtained from the calculation of the t-test is t = 3,576 and t table = 3,182 which means that there is an influence on students' scientific communication skills after the implementation of the cooperative learning model group investigation type. The coefficient of determination of students' scientific communication skills is 81%. The conclusion that can be drawn from the research that has been carried out is that there is an influence on the ability to think critically and the scientific communication skills of students after the implementation of the cooperative learning model group investigation type in the learning process.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Group Investigasi Berbantuan Media Flashcard Terhadap Minat Dan Hasil Belajar

This study aims to determinan the influence of the learning model group investigation combined with flashcard media on student interest and learning outcomes in the subject of multimedia x graphic class design in SMK Negeri 1 praya . This type of research is quantitative whit Pre-Experimental Design methos. The population of this study was all students of class x multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Praya totaling 30 studen t , with samples using the saturation sampling technique (sensus). Multimedia class x as an ekperimental class with 30 a total dtudents. Research design used of One-Group Pretest Posttest . Data collection userd questionnaires and learning tests. Data analysis techniques using Paired Sample T Test. The results showed that 1) there was an influence of the learning group investigation model combined with the flashcard media on students interest in learning (with a significance value of p < 0,05) (0, 000< 0,05) . 2) there was an influence of the learning group investigation model combined with the flashcard media on students in learning outcomes (with a significance value of p < 0,05) (0, 000< 0,05) . Thus it was concluded that there was an influence of the cooperative learning type group investigation model combined with the flashcard learning media students interest and student learning outcomes in the basic subjects of graphic x grade multimedia design at SMK Negeri 1 Praya shcool year 2019/2020.

THE EFFECT OF GROUP TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODELS INVESTIGATION OF CONCEPTUAL KNOWLEDGE STUDENTS ON BUSINESS AND ENERGY MATERIALS

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model type of group investigation on student’s conceptual knowledge and activities in the subject work and energy. This research is a quasi-experiment using two-group pretest-posttest design. The study sample consisted of two classes, namely the XI MIA-1 class as the experimental class and the XI MIA-3 class as the control of which amounted to 32 students, the sampling be done with random sampling technique. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of students conceptual knowledge in the form of 8 essay test. In the experimental class the average activity of students in the three meetings, are 60%, 72% and 87%. From the data obtained, there is evidence of the effect of group investigation models in improving learning activity on work and energy topic in XI Senior High School 10 Medan. The hypothesis with t-test shows the result there was a significant influence of cooperative learning model type group investigation to conceptual knowledge student subject of work and energy in class XI SMA Negeri 10 Medan T.P 2018/2019. Feasibility of Learner Autonomy Oriented Physics Learning Material to Train Student’s Science Process Skills

Low level of student’s science process skills is due to the lack of use of experiments in learning. The study was conducted to produce learning materials which oriented to valid, practical, and effective learner autonomy; so that it is feasible to train student’ science process skills. The research uses the ADDIE development model design including Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research subjects were 30 students of class X B TKJ in one of vocational high school at Banjarmasin. The research instrument used a validation sheet, observation sheet from the lesson plan, observation sheet of science process skills, and test the learning outcomes of students. Further data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed: 1) learning materials which oriented to learner autonomy were valid because the lessons plan, teaching material, student worksheet, and learning outcomes test were in the valid category, 2) learning materials which oriented to learner autonomy including practical because the component of lessons plans with direct instruction, guide inquiry and cooperative learning type group investigation in very practical categories, 3) learning materials which oriented to learner autonomy is effective because the cognitive N-gain tests are 0.51 in the medium category; 4) observations of science process skills in good categories and the result of N-gain science process skills tests are 0.76 in the high category. It can be concluded that the learning materials which oriented to learner autonomy were feasible to practice science process skills vocational high school’s students.

EFFORTS TO TRAIN THE CHARACTER OF STUDENTS BY USING THE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE GI (GROUP INVESTIGATION) IN SCIENCE LEARNING

Education up to now is considered as a medium to build knowledge as well as the personality of children to become better human beings, so positive learning must be instilled in learning. Planting characters can be realized through cooperative learning type group investigation. This research is to overcome learning problems in class related to the character of social care, environmental care, responsibility, and cooperation. This research was conducted in two cycles, using a characteristic behavior observation sheet instrument. Descriptive data analysis by looking at the increase in the percentage of character behavior in students. The implementation of learning in the first cycle is 94% and the second cycle is 100%. Based on the results of observations in the first and second cycles there are positive character developments in students heading in a better direction than before. To build a positive character of character training students need to be carried out continuously so that their development is increasing and entrenched.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa dalam Menyusun Teks

The implementation of this classroom action research aimed at finding out whether the Cooperative learning Group Investigation Type can improve students' ability in composing text. The subject of this study was the third grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja in the odd semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year. The data of this research were collected using learning achievement test while the analysis used was descriptive analysis. After all data were analyzed, it was found an improvement in learning outcomes. The average score of the students before the research was 74.80 with learning completeness 60.53.%. Then, in the first cycle, the average score was 76.69 with learning completeness 73.68%. The results of the second cycle also improved with the average score 77.61 and classical learning completeness 89.47%. It turned out that the results in cycle II had exceeded the criteria proposed according to the indicators of success of the study. Based on the data gained, the researcher concluded that the Cooperative Learning model Group Investigation Type can improve the ability of students composing the text.

Classification Learning Effectiveness of Living with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Cooperative Learning (CL) Type Group Investigation (GI)

The result of questionnaire given to 256 students of class VII of SMP Negeri 37 Semarang obtained information that motivation, scientific attitude, and cognitive learning result is still low. One of the teaching models can be used to solve these problems is the CTL and CL GI type models, because it links knowledge to real-world situations and emphasizes maximum student engagement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of classification of living creatures with CTL and CL type GI model of motivation, scientific attitude, response and student cognitive learning outcomes. The research design is Pretes-Posttest Control Group Design. Motivation, student response is analyzed by likert scale. Mastery Test is used to analyze the completeness of cognitive learning outcomes. One-way anova test is used to test three average differences. The results showed that motivation and scientific attitude are in good category. The calculation of experimental class 1 and experiment 2 respectively which stated by KKM is 84,38% and 81,25%. F count> F table (16.086> 3.094), then Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a difference between the average postes value of experiment class 1, experiment class 2, and control. Learning CTL and CL type GI received a very positive and positive response.

Application of Type Cooperative Learning Models Group Investigation (GI) in Improving Competence Learning Biology Student School

The problem of biology learning is learning activities centered on the teacher, the students only listen without stimulus, so that the activity and competence of student learning outcomes is low. Learning model that can encourage students to interact actively is cooperative learning type Group Investigation (GI). The purpose of this research is to know the process of improving students' biology learning competence through the application of cooperative type GI learning. This research is a classroom action research conducted 3 cycles. The data of the research results were collected through the evaluation of cognitive competence, affective observation sheet, and psychomotor students. The result of the research shows that cooperative learning of GI type can increase the competence of student cognitive aspect that is in cycle I is: 63,33, cycle II: 83,33 and cycle III: 86,67. Result of observation of affective competence, cycle I is: 60,32, cycle II: 70,13 and cycle III: 75,60 and result of competency psychomotor aspect of cycle I is: 76,67, cycle II: 83,37 and cycle III: 87.80. Of the three cycles, students' learning competencies are categorized well. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there is improvement of students' biology learning competence through the application of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation (GI) type.

PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGASI MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

The aims of this research is to increase the students learning achievement in opening retail bussiness through cooperative learning with Group Investigation (GI) type in SMK Negeri 1 Makassar.This research is a qualitative research. It is aclass action research which analyze the data into two cycles consist of planning, action, observation and evaluation. The subject of research is XII Marketing1 class of SMK Negeri 1 Makassar as many as 31 students. The result of the research shous that the students have not very clear with this learning condition in the first cycle. So they were given explanation about the learning steps of Group investigation. In the second cycle, teacher and students could understand the implementation og Group Investigation learning model and show a great result. Considering the result of the cycles, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning Group Investigation type could effective increase the learning achievement of opening retail business for XII Marketing 1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Makassar.

PERBANDINGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION DAN STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION

The purpose of this research is to find out the difference between the result of student learning which taught by cooperative learning Group Investigation type and Student Teams Achievement Division type on polyhedron in the class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City. This research is quasy experiment research with population in this research is the student in class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City. The sample in this research is get from cluster sampling, so the experiment class (VIII4) are 35 students by using Group Investigation an control class (VIII5) are 34 students by using Student Teams Achievement Division. Based on data analysis by using t test is get tcount=0,02 and ttabel with ? = 0,05, df = 66 get ttabel = 2,00, so tcount is placed between -2,00 ? tcount ? 2,00. This matter, H0 accepted which means there is no significant differences between the result of student learning between cooperative learning Group Investigation type and Student Teams Achievement Division type in class VIII of Junior High School 4 Bengkulu City.Keyword:result of student learning, GI, and STAD

THE EFFECT OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION TOWARD LEARNING OUTCOMES PHYSICS VIEWED FROM LOGICAL THINKING ABILITY

The purpose of research to determine: the results of physics learning with cooperative learning model type group investigation and conventional learning, learning outcomes physics that has the ability to think logically above average and the ability to think logically below the average as well as the interaction model of cooperative learning type group investigation and the ability to think logically in influencing the outcomes of learning physics. This research is quasi experimental. Technique that used to gain a sample is random cluster sampling. The instrument used is the science process skills test and test critical thinking skills.The results showed that: the learning outcomes of physics with cooperative learning model type group investigation better than conventional learning, learning outcomes physics that has the ability to think logically above average better than students who have the ability to think logically is below average and there is no interaction among cooperative learning model type group investigation and logical thinking skills in influencing the outcomes of learning physics.

Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning (Theme: Limited Natural Resources) to Increase Intention to Save Energy in Students

Some of the natural disaster occurred caused by people using natural resources unwisely. Before analyzing about that behavior, first will be analyzed is behavioral intention. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning group investigation type with the theme of “limited natural resources” to improve intention to save energy. The study used an experimental design Post-test-Only Design With Equivalent Groups, involving 66 people, divided into two groups, each 33 in the experimental group and 33 control group. Process experiments were conducted in a way, dividing the experimental group in 5 small groups, having given the matter of limited natural resources, then each group discussion, and sharing ideas with other groups in the jigsaw. The results showed that there are differences in energy-saving behavior intention significantly between the experimental group (KE) and the control group (KK) with t value of 3.192 with 0.002 significance (p <0.05). Differences KE and KK with a positive t value indicates that the energy-saving behavior intention at KE has a higher value than the families who were not given the manipulation. In general score KE and KK if joined at the high category, but if sorted, KE scores at the high category and score KK in middle category.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation Terhadap Kreativitas Mahasiswa Semester I PGSD UM Surabaya pada Mata Kuliah Pengantar Manajemen Pendidikan

The indicators of creativity consists of fluent, flexible, and original thinking in which the score or value totaled and analyzed by using t-test two independent samples. On the validity of the test, it is obtained that the counting of ≥ r r-critical (0.334), which is item 1= 0.937 and item 2 = 0.885 then the instrument is said to be valid and can be used. In the test of reliableility, the counting of r > r critical (0.60), namely Alpha value of 0.781 means greater than 0.60. Thus the entire item instrument is reliable. The results of hypothesis testing can be seen from the data that has been analyzed by t 5.222> t-table 2.00 (α = 0.05). it can be concluded that the problability of error in this research still below 0,05. Hypothesis testingbcan be decided that with the high price of 5.564 t-test has a significant level of 0.000 which turned the position which is still far below the value of α = 0.05. Therefore, this research successfully rejects the significant level of 5%. Furthermore, it can be concluded that was proved right. Mean posttest in the experimental group was 85.63. The mean post-test control group was 75.45. It can be concluded that the creativity or creative thinking ability of students in the experimental group was higher than the control group. It is mean that model of cooperative learning type group investigation positive effect on creativity or creative thinking students’ ability.

Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar(Studi pada mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar Universitas Majalengka tahun ajaran 2015/2016)

This study aims to assess the problems of improving the ability of mathematical understanding and interaction between factors of learning and factors of early mathematical ability (subgroups of high, medium and low) to increase the ability of mathematical understanding through cooperative learning type group investigation. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The population is all students of the fifth-semester faculty PGSD primary and secondary education, Majalengka University 2015/2016. This study is a quasi-experimental research with the aim of reviewing the problems increase student’s mathematical reasoning abilities through learning with metaphorical thinking approach. In addition, this study also reviewing attitudes or responses of students to math and learning with metaphorical thinking approach. The populations of this study are all of the elementary school of class VIII students SMP Negeri 3 Lembang West Java province with a sample of 37 students of class VIIIA as the experimental group and 36 students of class VIIIB as the control group. The sampling was based on a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of pretest and posttest and attitude scale. The quantitative analysis using independent sample t-test and mann-witney test, while the qualitative analysis using was done descriptively. The results showed that increase in mathematical reasoning abilities students who received a learning with metaphorical thinking approach better than students who received a conventional learning. Analysis of the attitude scale questionnaire data showed that students have positive attitudes toward math and learning with metaphorical thinking approach.
