Optimizing industrial transport with a connected automated vehicle demonstrator for assembly systems and end-of-line production

In recent years, the automotive industry has witnessed significant progress in the development of automated driving technologies. The integration of advanced sensors and systems in vehicles has led to the emergence of various functionalities, such as driving assistance and autonomous driving. Applying these technologies on the assembly line can enhance the efficiency, safety, and speed of transportation, especially at end-of-line production. This work presents a connected automated vehicle (CAV) demonstrator for generating autonomous driving systems and services for the automotive industry. Our prototype electric vehicle is equipped with state-of-the-art sensors and systems for perception, localization, navigation, and control. We tested various algorithms and tools for transforming the vehicle into a self-driving platform, and the prototype was simulated and tested in an industrial environment as proof of concept for integration into assembly systems and end-of-line transport. Our results show the successful integration of self-driving vehicle platforms in the automotive industry, particularly in factory halls. We demonstrate the localization, navigation, and communication capabilities of our prototype in a demo area. This work anticipates a significant increase in efficiency and operating cost reduction in vehicle manufacturing, despite challenges such as current low traveling speeds and high equipment costs. Ongoing research aims to enhance safety for higher vehicle speeds, making it a more viable business case for manufacturers, considering the increasing standardization of automated driving equipment in cars. The main contribution of this paper lies in introducing the general concept architecture of the integration of automated driving functionalities in end-of-line assembly and production systems. Showing a case study of the effective development and implementation of such functionalities with a CAV demonstrator in a more standardized industrial operational design domain.

Peer-Assessment Academic Integrity Scale (PAAIS-24)

This study aims to develop an academic integrity scale to help lecturers evaluate the academic integrity of university students with peer-assessment learning experiences using the ADDIE research and development method. Twenty-four items were designed using the concepts of academic integrity; honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility, and courage validated by six raters and tested on 520 students from various universities in Indonesia. Testing content validity using the Aiken-V formula, construct validity testing using discriminant indexes, factor analysis (Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis), and concurrent validity testing by correlating PAAIS-24 with the developed Academic Integrity Scale. While the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha formula. The study results proved that each item of content validity meets with an Aiken value >0.80; on construct validity testing, the discriminant index value is >0.50, and the EFA and CFA loading factor values are >0.50. In addition, the model is appropriate because the theoretical model of PAAIS-24 is in accordance with empirical data. Whereas in reliability testing, Cronbach's alpha value is 0.95. Lastly, PAAIS-24 is one of the credible instruments. Творчество Хусея Будаева в контексте развития балкарской литературы в первой трети ХХ века

The scientific work examines the work of the poet Budaev Husey Aslanovich (1880-1973), his contribution to the development of spiritual poetry, his place in settlement poetry, and works aimed at harmony in family and social life are also analyzed. The article establishes the insepara-ble connection of the works of H. Budaev with the semantics and poetics of folklore, which is the specificity of the author's poetic world. The depth of philosophical thought and the acuteness of social analysis permeating the work of Budaev Husey are noted. The analysis of the author's crea-tive heritage ("Altyn tau" - "Golden Mountain", "Khak Zholunda" - "Dear truth") allowed us to determine his creative individuality and uniqueness. Poems like "Din ieleny kuyu" ("Crying for the Lights of Faith, defending theologians, express protest against the violence committed during the era of Stalinism. The work establishes that the work of Husey Budaev was formed within the framework of the poetic traditions of the pre-Soviet period, laid down by the classics of Karachay-Balkarian literature Semenov Kaltur, Dzhanibekov Appa, Kochkarov Kaspot. The presentation of their ideas in clear words and understandable images is a tradition of Karachay-Balkarian oral folk poetry. The work notes the direct realization of folklore artistic installations in the poetry of Husey Budaev. To complete the tasks, the author employed comparative and contextual method-ologies, which are coupled in the paper with the concept of consistency and integrity of analysis. Historicism is the primary methodological and systematic premise guiding the inquiry.

Wind Tunnel Investigation of Transient Propeller Loads for Non-Axial Inflow Conditions

Recent developments in electrical Vertical Take-off and Landing (eVTOL) vehicles show the need for a better understanding of transient aero-mechanical propeller loads for non-axial inflow conditions. The variety of vehicle configurations conceptualized with different propellers in terms of blade geometry, number of blades, and their general integration concept results in aerodynamic loads on the propellers which are different from those on conventional fixed-wing aircraft propellers or helicopter rotors. Such varying aerodynamic loads have to be considered in the vehicle design as a whole and also in the detailed design of their respective electric propulsion systems. Therefore, an experimental approach is conducted on two different propeller blade geometries and a varying number of blades with the objective to explore the characteristics at non-axial inflow conditions. Experimental data are compared with calculated results of a low-fidelity Blade Element Momentum Theory (BEMT) approach. Average thrust and side force coefficients are shown to increase with inflow angle, and this trend is captured by the implemented numerical method. Measured thrust and in-plane forces are shown to oscillate at the blade passing frequency and its harmonics, with higher amplitudes at higher angles of inflow or lower number of blades.

It has been observed that the removal of a geodetic set from the network can increase its vulnerability. This study explores the geodetic domination integrity parameter and presents general results on the geodetic domination integrity values of thorn ring graphs, $n$-sunlet graphs, thorn path graphs, thorn rod graphs, thorn star graphs, helm graphs, $E_p^t$ tree graphs, dendrimer graphs, spider graphs, and bispider graphs, which are the frequently used graph classes in the literature.

Implementing the Concept of Integration of Science and Islamic Values at Islamic University

The integration of scientific principles within Islamic religious universities governed by the Ministry of Religion is a widespread practice. However, the application of this concept across universities offering programs under the auspices of both the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religion remains unexplored. This study delineates the framework for integrating scientific knowledge at an Islamic University in Madura, focusing on the execution and assessment of education that amalgamates scientific insights and Islamic values. Employing observational techniques on policy documents and teaching resources of instructors, alongside semi-structured interviews with fifteen educators from the physics, biology, and mathematics departments, this investigation reveals a unique five-pillar knowledge integration concept. These pillars encompass Islam, Indonesia, Islamic Boarding School, Madura, and Aswajaan perspectives. The formal documentation supporting this integration at Madura Islamic University is encapsulated within its Statutes and chancellor's guidelines for curriculum enhancement. Evidence of implementation is observed in instructors' Syllabi and teaching materials, albeit only 53.3% have successfully linked scientific content with Qur'anic verses. The primary challenge identified is the considerable time required to develop materials that effectively integrate Islamic values. Solutions proposed include the creation of a comprehensive guide for integrating the five knowledge pillars and extensive training for all faculty members to facilitate this integration process.

Целостность и иерархичность структур данных в жизненном цикле объектов малоэтажного жилищного строительства

The subject area of the article is construction facilities life cycle management, where the object-oriented automated technologies of low-rise housing construction are the subject of consideration. The purpose of this study is to describe the meta-structure of such technologies, consisting of a set of hierarchical structures of the finite elements (premises, structures, engineering equipment, etc.) and for this meta-structure definition the concept of low-rise housing estate construction facilities integrity is introduced. The object of the article's research is hierarchical data structures, on the basis of which object-oriented databases and knowledge bases are formed, serving automated technologies for construction facilities integrity generation within all stages of the life cycle. The article uses the method of decomposition of the low-rise housing estate construction facilities integrity into a variety of automated technologies and their constituent hierarchical data structures, which allows us to identify all subject areas of objects of manor low-rise housing estate construction for computational justifications of the limiting states of finite elements (objects) of architecture, building structures, engineering equipment. Hierarchical structures create a standardized basis for the organization of finite element information models for managing the life cycle of manor low-rise estate housing construction. Decision-makers should prepare hierarchical data structures and algorithms for calculating the justifications for finite elements. The article presents examples of hierarchical data structures schemes for the design stage tasks solving. It is concluded that all information models of finite elements on a variety of subject areas of manor low-rise estate housing construction objects arise during the execution of constructive (algorithmized) processes in the decision-making layers of the corresponding stages of the life cycle of construction objects. The proposed approach will make it possible to create and maintain a shared data environment on a regular and ongoing basis as part of a set of hierarchical data structures of the construction projects under consideration. In the development, it becomes possible to qualitatively improve the technological conditions for decision-making according to various criteria, including criteria for environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, economy, comfort for low-rise residential buildings using neural network data structures and the use of artificial intelligence algorithms. The above together is the basis for the formation of a modern innovative technological order for the objects of estate low-rise housing construction.

TCMNPAS: a comprehensive analysis platform integrating network formulaology and network pharmacology for exploring traditional Chinese medicine

The application of network formulaology and network pharmacology has significantly advanced the scientific understanding of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment mechanisms in disease. The field of herbal biology is experiencing a surge in data generation. However, researchers are encountering challenges due to the fragmented nature of the data and the reliance on programming tools for data analysis. We have developed TCMNPAS, a comprehensive analysis platform that integrates network formularology and network pharmacology. This platform is designed to investigate in-depth the compatibility characteristics of TCM formulas and their potential molecular mechanisms. TCMNPAS incorporates multiple resources and offers a range of functions designed for automated analysis implementation, including prescription mining, molecular docking, network pharmacology analysis, and visualization. These functions enable researchers to analyze and obtain core herbs and core formulas from herbal prescription data through prescription mining. Additionally, TCMNPAS facilitates virtual screening of active compounds in TCM and its formulas through batch molecular docking, allowing for the rapid construction and analysis of networks associated with “herb-compound-target-pathway” and disease targets. Built upon the integrated analysis concept of network formulaology and network pharmacology, TCMNPAS enables quick point-and-click completion of network-based association analysis, spanning from core formula mining from clinical data to the exploration of therapeutic targets for disease treatment. TCMNPAS serves as a powerful platform for uncovering the combinatorial rules and mechanism of TCM formulas holistically. Security as a fundamental human right

The article is dedicated to the consideration of the right to security as a fundamental human right. The problems related to the right to security are complex and are determined by the specifics of the current development of society. It is shown that in modern conditions the right to security exists de facto by default, but de jure does not have the status of a fundamental and universal human right. At the same time, the right to security is a legal recognition of the existence of safe conditions of existence for every person and the context for the realization of both individual and the entire complex of human rights. The article proves that the right to security is an integral concept, which is confirmed by a significant number of rights derived from it. It is proven that modern ideas about security are determined by secularization and anthropological trends.
 Today, the content of the concept of "security" emphasizes the individual, not the state. Unlike previous eras, the responsibility for creating and functioning laws and rules for a safe life rest with a person.
 Considerable attention is paid to the modern understanding of the right to security, which has its cultural basis in the form of a change in the normative model of society: the current society is a society of dynamic changes, risks, and conflicts, in which the main social ideal is security, and not equality as it was followed in previous eras. It is also noted that different historical and cultural systems have their ideas about security and specific means of ensuring it.
 The right to security, in an ontological sense, is close to the right to freedom, as it exists in two forms - positive (as a system of measures to counter dangers and threats and ensure stability) and negative (as a state of individual protection from risks and threats). It is emphasized that the right to security is basic (background) for the realization of all other human rights.

Geogebra untuk Pengantar Pembelajaran Integral Tentu

Nowadays there are many technologies that can be utilized to support the educational process, including in the teaching of mathematics. In integral material, the usual approach involves explaining mathematical operations, giving an example, and doing the task. Students are not taught in-depth concepts about how integrals are obtained and the related issues with integrals. All of this could be due to the lack of use of media that supports stimulation and visualization of mathematics learning. One of the media that answers this problem is Geogebra. This article is a literature study that discusses the Geogebra application as an introduction to integral learning. Beside that, example of using Geogebra as a learning media to help students understand integral concepts are also presented.

Antiangiogenic therapy: how far is it to upgrade?

AbstractEarly vascular-targeted drugs represented by VEGF single-pathway inhibitors pioneered the idea of regulating the tumor growth microenvironment and enhanced the chemotherapy effect in a variety of tumors. However, their shortcomings of “only winning PFS but not OS” have gradually revealed and warned that drug-resistant growth of tumors is unavoidable after long-term use. The activation of intracellular bypass signaling after inhibiting a single target may be an important reason. In order to eliminate this problem, attempts have been made to expand the combination of drug types and increase the intensity of drug treatment. The possibility of replacing single-target anti-angiogenic therapeutic drugs with multiple targets has also be explored. A new generation of “dual-dimension, multi-pathway” drugs that simultaneously inhibit multiple targets both in tumors and microvascular endothelial cells can be used either as single drugs in multiple tumor types, or in combination with chemotherapy, EGFR-TKI, or even immunological drugs. It demonstrates good efficacy and great potential and hope for upgrading vascular targeted therapy. It also enlightens us that future treatment and new drug development strategies cannot rely solely on the most precise target inhibition, but should have a “dual-dimension, multi-pathway” integration concept that looks at the overall situation from one corner.

Research on numerical solution of statically indeterminate problem of steering tool combined bearing

The steering tool combined bearing is a mechanical component that can support forces, guide movement, and bear vibrations at the same time. In the process of analyzing the contact and load distribution inside the combined bearing, there are several contact points, and the static equilibrium equation is statically indeterminate. Based on dynamics theory and Hertz elastic contact theory, the concept of a load integral and the displacement estimation formula for roller bearings are introduced, and a numerical solution to the statically indeterminate problem of the steering tool combined bearing is given. According to the statically indeterminate equation matrix of the combined bearing, the relationship between the load and displacement of the combined bearing is studied to improve the statically indeterminate equation matrix. Moreover, the simulation results of the maximum stress and displacement distribution results of the inner and outer ring eccentricity from 1 to 6mm are compared with the algorithm prediction results. The error between the numerical solution of the statically indeterminate problem of the steering tool combined bearing and the simulation result is small, improving the calculation efficiency. This provides theoretical support for the design and reasonable application of the steering tool combined bearing.

H2Electra – a platform for comparative analysis of integration concepts for hydrogen-based electric propulsion in regional aircraft

Over the past decade numerous novel concepts for electric flight have been elaborated. Each unique in its own way and based on various assumptions and technological advances projected for the future. Within each concept design decisions have to be made on component level, propulsion system level and aircraft level. In order to be able to evaluate and analyse both, advanced components technologies and innovative propulsion system architectures, as well as to understand the effect of each design decision, a common baseline platform has been developed to allow for comparative analyses.This work presents such a platform with the hydrogen-based electrified regional aircraft concept called H2Electra. The iterative design process developed for this purpose is presented. It allows for a holistic approach to the development of an aircraft, its electrified propulsion system as well as the sizing of the components therein. Two propulsion system integration concepts are being considered in the evaluation: one partially fuselage-integrated and one nacelle-integrated. Challenges and trade-offs between the two concepts were analysed and evaluated, with safety and reliability being key design and decision-making metrics, alongside block-fuel efficiency and power density. In particular, the design decision on a suitable bus voltage and its effect on the powertrain sizing and integration were investigated.

High Fidelity Crash Analysis of Ngctr-TD Composite Wing

The T-WING project is a research project aimed at designing, manufacturing, qualifying and testing the new wing of Leonardo Next Generation Civil Tilt-Rotor technical demonstrator (NGCTR-TD), as part of Clean Aviation Fast Rotorcraft activities.The methodology proposed in this paper encompasses the development of high-fidelity modelling and simulation procedures in support to virtual certification methods for crashworthiness requirements of tiltrotors. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of an aircraft drop test is a complex and detailed process that aims to simulate the structural behaviour during an impact or drop event. This type of analysis is critical for assessing the safety of an aircraft in emergency landing situations. Wing crashworthiness requirement is specific for tilt rotors: during a survivable crash event, the wing design must ensure a pre-defined rupture with the purpose of alleviating the inertial load acting on the fuselage to preserve the occupants from injuries and fire, guaranteeing the escape paths. Thus, the highly integrated T-WING wing box concept has been designed with the specific feature of frangible sections near the wing-fuselage intersection. The activation of fracture of the external semi-wings in correspondence of frangible section is triggered by the achievement of a well-defined crash vertical load factor.The objective of the methodology is to simulate the crash effects on the whole wing, using explicit non-linear and time-dependent FE analysis, to verify the wing spanwise placement of the frangible sections, the failure mode, the loads acting at the fuselage links, and the acceleration transmitted to the structure. This work is focused on a standalone analysis of the wing plus a lumped scheme of the fuselage, and it is part of a wider activity which will comprise, in the crash simulation, the most relevant vehicle systems (e.g. fuselage model). Moreover, this numerical activity has been compared with experimental results obtained on a different but similar structure, in terms of global acceleration at wing centre of gravity. Good agreement in terms of acceleration has been found between numerical model and experimental relevant test.

A Probe into the Integration Concept of Blended Teaching Mode of College English in Application-Oriented Universities

Blended teaching is the product of the organic combination of classroom teaching and online learning. The practice of college English teaching in application-oriented colleges shows that the construction of the integration concept of blended teaching mode will play a good role in promoting the quality of college English teaching. Analysis Of Student Errors In Solving Intgral Questions For Grade XII IPS 1 At MAS YMPI Tanjungbalai

This research has a purpose to analyze students' errors in solving problems combined to integral calculus in Grade XII IPS 1. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects has 30 students and 3 mathematics teachers. The instruments used are tests (reliability coefficient V=0.76) and questionnaires (reliability coefficient V=0.68). Data is collected with four methods: 1) students are asked to complete a descriptive test on integral calculus in 5 questions on a worksheet, 2) collecting and analyzing some of the students' answers, 3) interviewing with some students who face difficulties, and 4) interviewing teachers. The research instruments used include a descriptive test on integral calculus, interview worksheets for students and mathematics teachers. Data analysis is carried out in three stages: 1) identifying and categorizing students' errors in answering the questions, 2) analyzing students' errors, and 3) examining the correlation between students' test results and the results of interviews with students and teachers. The results of the study show that out of 30 students who took the test, 12 or 40% of the students did not meet the passing criteria (KKM = 70), 7 or 23.3% of the students made errors in understanding basic integral concepts, 12 or 40% of the students made errors in applying principles, and 13 or 43.3% of the students made errors in solving problems in text questions. From the questionnaire and interview results, it has been found that 16 or 53.3% of the students are mostly influenced by internal factors, and 11 or 36.6% of the students are mostly influenced by external factors

In this study, it is aimed to examine the integrative research concepts from the educational management perspective. There are various issues that need to be taken into account in the development, identification and use of concepts. The first of these is the collection of research and findings made by education, medicine, statistics and similar positive sciences on the relevant subject. Because, according to the findings of positive science research, it can be determined whether there are similar behaviors in people. For example, the concept of ethology is based on biology and is a concept that is also used in sociology and psychology. The second step necessary in creating a concept is to correctly identify the wishes, needs and future plans of society and people in the research field in question. Thus, common concepts that have not been defined by any scientist can be created. For this reason, serious scientific studies should be carried out primarily after determining the concepts and limitations used in their fields. Thus, by building a common area, the area can be developed and its continuity can be ensured. Thirdly, concept development requires interdisciplinary work because human and social science is not independent of other sciences. Dec. On the contrary, they are all complementary and supportive of each other. Therefore, concepts should be produced by taking into account different branches of science. Another point that should be considered in the concept production is the historical aspect of the research subject and the research that has been done before on the same subject. In addition, the concept and terminology to be developed should be clear and understandable. When we look at it in the context of integrative research concepts, we see that people talk about scientific topics in everyday life whether they want to or not. For example, the weather is one of the most talked about topics. However, it is a matter of curiosity whether the expressions used during these conversations really coincide with science, whether what is said is understood correctly and whether it is fully conveyed. In this sense, whether scientific concepts are used correctly is also a separate field of study. Scientists or practitioners may not always understand concepts correctly. They can assign different meanings to a concept according to their individual or social acceptance, knowledge, habits and experiences and use it in this direction. Protecting and promoting editorial independence.

We argue that editorial independence, through robust practice of publication ethics and research integrity, promotes good science and prevents bad science. We elucidate the concept of research integrity, and then discuss the dimensions of editorial independence. Best practice guidelines exist, but compliance with these guidelines varies. Therefore, we make recommendations for protecting and strengthening editorial independence.
