Examining the Value of Teachers' Guidebook to Field Activities in Kindergartens

Kindergarten teachers' guidebooks play an important role as a medium for teachers to carry out educational activities and guide children's learning and development. However, at present, kindergartens do not set specific selection criteria and evaluation standards when selecting teachers' guidebooks, and the issuance and selection of teachers' guidebooks are characterised by arbitrariness. Excellent teacher guidebooks should have the values of "re-selecting excellent culture", "reflecting the integrity of the elements of the five areas", "containing the concept of curriculum reform in the new era", and so on. An in-depth analysis of their values will help teachers to improve their training. The role of collective bargaining in improving working conditions cannot be overstated. Through negotiations, unions have been instrumental in securing fair wages and comprehensive benefits for workers, which are crucial to promoting economic well-being and job satisfaction.

Reform bills in Jordan: A Dawn of a new era or continuous missed opportunities?

AbstractThis study aims to identify the concept, mechanisms and motives of political reform under the reign of King Abdullah II of Jordan. Concisely, the study attempts to identify obstacles to and opportunities for political reform in Jordan. To this end, the weaknesses and challenges facing the process of political reform in Jordan as well as opportunities to achieve political reform will be addressed. The opportunities are represented in the new constitutional amendments and the new laws governing political life (political parties and election laws). The main finding of this study is that since Jordan's problem today is not just economic, there is a pressing need for political reform. The political reform in Jordan, as a form of adjusting and accommodating, is the best alternative for the regime to face the popular pressures. This is probably so because Arab Spring regimes with minimal capacity to ‘bend’ or respond to change had eventually collapsed.

Tinjauan Pembaharuan Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

Renewing Islamic education in Indonesia is the main focus in facing changing times. This article explores the renewal of Islamic education from historical and contemporary perspectives, highlighting the background, methodology, results and thoughts of key figures. The research method uses a literature study and literature study approach, with data collection through electronic sources such as Google Scholar and digital libraries. The results of the research outline the concept of Islamic education reform, the background to the reform in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the influence of the reform on Islamic education in Indonesia. The main focus is on the thoughts of reformer figures such as Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Ridha, who pushed back to the teachings of the Koran and Al-Hadith, the spirit of nationalism, and local factors. Renewing Islamic education in Indonesia includes the integration of digital literacy, critical thinking skills, improving infrastructure, and strengthening the values ​​of tolerance. This article also identifies approaches to renewing Islamic education, ranging from Western orientation to Islamic orientation and nationalism. Thus, the renewal of Islamic education in Indonesia is a continuous effort to improve the quality of education, strengthen Islamic identity, and prepare a generation that is ready to compete globally.

The examiner as a subject of a party to criminal proceedings by the prosecution

It is indicated that the process of modernization of the system of criminal justice bodies is underway in Ukraine, the purpose of which is to improve the system of public administration and improve mechanisms for protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens. In particular, the concept of criminal justice reform of Ukraine, approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 04/08/2008 No. 311/2008, was implemented in the aspect of updating criminal, criminal procedural and administrative tort legislation. As part of the humanization of criminal legislation, the following steps have been taken: felony crimes have been reclassified as criminal misdemeanors, the procedure for bringing to justice persons who have committed criminal misdemeanors has been simplified, and the work of criminal justice bodies has been optimized in the detection, investigation, and trial of cases. The scientific publication examines topical issues of the place and role of the investigator in criminal proceedings, including through a comparison of the procedural status of the investigator and the investigator. Taking into account the powers of the inquirer, defined by the law that introduces this institute, the burden on the specified subject of criminal proceedings is examined in comparison with the investigator on the example of a specific region, with statistical data on registered, completed and sent to court criminal proceedings. The norms of the current criminal procedural legislation are analyzed, which determine the authority of the inquirer in the process of carrying out a pre-trial investigation of criminal misdemeanors. The legal status of the inquirer as a subject of registration in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations is outlined, the imperfection of the introduced norms is noted due to the limitation of the procedural powers of the head of the inquiry in comparison with the head of the investigative unit, and the negative procedural consequences are indicated due to some legislative gaps that require amendments to the current Criminal Code of the procedural code of Ukraine. Based on the results of the research, conclusions and proposals regarding the improvement of national legislation were formulated, and the prospect of further research on this topic was determined.

Exploration of the Reform of Macroeconomics Course with Integrating Ideological-Political Elements

Integrating ideological and political education into university teaching has become the core content of current higher education work in China, and it is also one of the important factors in ensuring the quality of higher education. As one of the fundamental courses in the field of economic management, integrating ideological and political education into the teaching of macroeconomics is highly in line with the current educational reform concept in Chinese universities. Based on this, the author will provide suggestions on how to integrate ideological and political education with macroeconomics courses from three aspects, namely teaching philosophy, teaching methods, and teaching content, to provide some reference and assistance for the teaching reform of macroeconomics courses.

This study aims to determine the concept of Islamic education reform of KH. Ahmad Dahlan and its implementation in modern Islamic education. This research uses concept analysis from various works of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and materials that become primary sources and secondary sources in various studies, then connected and analyzed through the content analysis process. This research has concluded that KH. Ahmad Dahlan's efforts to renew Islamic education were carried out among others by uniting traditional-based education systems and modern education systems, collaborating religious sciences and general sciences, and integrating Islamic religious education and general education which includes aspects of curriculum, methods and institutions. KH. Ahmad Dahlan also put forward five concepts, namely pragmatic, progressive, pedagogical, social which were applied in the Muhammadiyah organization. This research can be a scientific treasure in the treasures of Islamic education reform

Diocletian's fiscal reforms – which fit into these reorganizations – primarily served to consolidate the empire's economic power in a period of extreme crisis. Among the monarch’s several financial measures – in addition to the creation of a state monopoly on coinage – the tax reform of 301 can be considered the most determinative. In the same year, the emperor's provisions were supplemented by a special institution which clearly has a ‘crisis law character’ within the framework of free-market economy. The price maximization decree of Diocletian (Edictum de pretiis rerum venalium) was created specifically to solve or at least mitigate the economic crisis of the third century. While in previous centuries the value of Roman money was relatively constant, the main sign of the financial crisis of the time was precisely inflation. The aim of the study is to present the two most important elements of this comprehensive reform concept.

A Study on the Impact of Mixed Reform on the Financial Performance of State-Owned Enterprises

The concept of mixed ownership reform was first put forward in the 1990s, and has been developed and strengthened year by year. Its main purpose is to stimulate the internal vitality of enterprises by introducing the combination of non-state-owned capital and state-owned capital, and optimize the management mechanism through the implementation of mixed ownership reform, so as to promote economic development and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. This reform process not only contributes to innovation and efficiency within the company, but also lays a solid foundation for the long-term development of the company. Yunnan Baiyao Co., Ltd. is a well-known pharmaceutical enterprise, which has a significant influence and market position in the national pharmaceutical industry, and is also a key enterprise in the early adoption of mixed reform in China. Therefore, it is of great reference value and significance to analyze and study the financial performance of Yunnan Baiyao after the mixed reform. At present, the country is vigorously promoting the mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises. Based on this background, this paper, by analyzing the financial performance of enterprises and applying relevant theories involved, makes a detailed case analysis of the development status of Yunnan Baiyao after the mixed reform, with a view to providing some suggestions for similar enterprises or other enterprises with the intention of mixed reform.

Implementation and Elimination of Actions Criminal Illegal Fishing Towards the Development of Sustainable Fisheries

Objective. To analyze legal political reforms in the Fisheries Law to enforce the law and eradicate the criminal act of IUU Fishing in the development of sustainable fisheries in Indonesia. Design/Methodology/Approach. Using empirical (non-doctrinal) research methods with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Results/Discussion. Factors that cause ineffective law enforcement against illegal fishing include weaknesses in legal substance, institutional structure, and legal culture, especially related to the formulation of criminal sanctions. The concept of political reform of fisheries law must include revision of laws, adoption of international law, as well as changes in the law enforcement model through an integrated criminal justice system approach, with the top coordinator of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Conclusions. Legislative reform, adoption of a multi-legal regime approach, extraterritorial jurisdictional authority, and active community participation are needed to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement and support sustainable development in the fisheries sector. Originality/Value. Highlights aspects of implementing and eradicating illegal fishing, with an emphasis on increasing law enforcement for sustainable fisheries development.

Madiun is a city in East Java Province, Indonesia. The fourth largest city in East Java, after Surabaya, Malang, and Kediri, is 160 km west of Surabaya, or 111 km east of Surakarta, Central Java. The fourth largest city in East Java after Surabaya, Malang and Kediri. This city has a railroad industry (INKA) and a railroad high school. Based on the data above, the social capital owned by the city of Madiun must be maintained and increased from time to time as the times change and progress. Therefore, society and the world. Education in Madiun must keep up with the times by updating or reforming, learning innovations to be at the forefront, and at least not to be left behind. Higher-order thinking, known as higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), is an educational reform concept based on learning taxonomies (such as Bloom's taxonomy). The idea is that some types of learning require more cognitive processing than others but have more general benefits. The problem is that the busyness of teachers and the community and the lack of time to think about and carry out updates make teachers less active in implementing innovations or reforms in education. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to provide education and training on various ways of updating learning. The implementation method is carried out through lectures, demonstrations, and workshops to school inspectors and school principals in Madiun. Evaluation of the pretest results regarding the HOTS workshop showed that understanding increased by 19% with indicators during the activity, 90% of the participants were enthusiastic about practicing it, and 100% had made updates by carrying out HOTS-based learning. This community service is one of the PGRI Madiun University programs that implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by conducting training on implementing HOTS-based learning.

The course of "Early Childhood Health Care" covers a lot of knowledge about the protection and maintenance of young children's health, which plays an important supporting role in frontline childcare work. After reforming the course, students can improve their childcare skills and be more competent in childcare work in kindergartens. Due to the high degree of coupling between the OBE (output based education) concept of higher education curriculum reform and the curriculum reform of early childhood health care in preschool education majors, this concept is closely related to the curriculum reform of early childhood health care. Because the course of "Early Childhood Health Care" is a practical course that emphasizes practical application and is very important for improving students' childcare skills, this article analyzes the shortcomings in the current implementation process of the "Early Childhood Health Care" course in preschool education majors and proposes reasonable curriculum reform measures.

The aim of this research is to analyze Jamaluddin Al-Afghani's Version of the Concept of Islamic Education Reform. This type of research is a library study. Data collection with documentation. Data analysis with SLR. The research results obtained are that Jamaluddin Al-Afghani's version of the concept of Islamic education renewal is that Islamic education must continue to develop according to the needs of the times and can be integrated with modern science. Afghani emphasized the importance of education that fosters a critical, innovative and progressive spirit in thinking and promotes universal human values. Through its progressive and inclusive approach, Afghani advocates for Islamic education to play an active role in preparing individuals to face global challenges and strengthen Islamic civilization in the contemporary context.

The distributional effects of introducing a lottery system in school assignment rule: Evidence from an experiment in Beijing, China

This paper examines the distributional effects of a multi-school districting reform, involving lottery property allocation, on families’ school choice behavior in Beijing, China. Employing a competitive school district housing market model, we investigate the reform's implications on housing prices and school enrollment patterns. Using a unique dataset that combines second-hand housing transaction records and school enrollment data, we document this notable consequence: a substantial 4.57% decrease in housing prices in Haidian District post-reform, resulting in enhanced access to high-quality schools for middle-income families. However, the impact on school choice behavior exhibits structural disparities. While the reform creates opportunities for middle-income families, lower-income families may encounter challenges in accessing public primary schools, where housing prices with improved educational quality have risen by 1.21%. Conversely, affluent families opt for private schools to secure high-quality educational resources, evident in a 4.25% increase in corresponding rent. Additionally, Chinese families prefer proximity to schools to minimize commuting expenses, as reflected in a 0.56% rise in rents near public primary schools. These findings emphasize the importance of addressing both “excessive school choice competition” and the diverse educational preferences of families when implementing school assignment rule reforms in developing countries. Our research expands the literature on primary education and extends concepts for education reform in other developing countries.

Tajdid dan Kebangkitan Islam dalam Perspektif Yusuf Qardhawi

The modern era requires thinkers, including Muslim scholars, to continue to play a role in the people’s development of following the rise of Western civilization since the 18th century. Reform (tajdid) is an expression that describes serious and continuous efforts to deal with this problem. The existence of an understanding that is contrary to these efforts can thwart the revival goal of the people. On the one hand, there is a view of conserving religious texts, on the other hand, there is a view encourages religion to adapt to the orientation of the human life. Yusuf Qardhawi is a contemporary scholar who is very authoritative in addressing the phenomena that occur through a number of his works which assess the importance of the wasat}iyyah principle in initiating reform. This literature study uses a qualitative approach concludes that the realm of reform (tajdid) for Qardhawi is the change of something from one situation to a better and more important condition (including reform of faith, reform of understanding, reform of fiqh and the law therein, as well as reform of preaching). This whole thing cannot be separated from the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah as the foundation for maintaining the principle of balance. For him, anything that is separated from the provisions of Divine revelation and only relies on human abilities will tend to produce contradictions. A reform (tajdid) concept that does not maintain the originality of revelation will create a pseudo-reform. Because according to him, the revival in the phase called “Ushwah Islāmiyyah” requires every Muslim to cultivate love for the religion by believing in the perfection of its teachings without feeling inferior or dazzled by other civilizations.

Heat transfer analysis of a tube-in-tube steam reformer for the application of MGT-SOFC hybrid process

This work deals with the evaluation of a tube-in-tube reformer concept for the realization of the Micro Gas Turbine Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (MGT-SOFC) hybrid process using a semi-validated numerical model. Rigorous heat transfer analysis considering chemical reactions were performed for this concept. To validate the reforming kinetics and heat transfer mechanisms in a catalyst bed, experiments were conducted using a single reactor tube located in a temperature-controlled furnace. Different experimental conditions, such as furnace temperature and space velocity, were considered. A numerical model was replicated according to the single-tube reactor investigated and validated with the experimental results. The catalyst bed is considered as porous material with chemical reactions as internal source terms of species transport equations and energy transport equation. Since the heat transfer into the reformer tubes in the real operating environment is subject to different mechanisms (predominantly convection) than that in a furnace (predominantly thermal radiation), only the parameters on the side of the catalyst bed tuned by the single-tube experiment could be retained for the numerical model of the tube-in-tube concept, which leads to a semi-validated model. Based on this semi-validated model, the performance (such as temperature distribution, conversion rate of the products, etc.) and the applicability of a tube-in-tube reformer concept, considering the variation of boundary conditions, were investigated and evaluated.

Formation of civic stance in the aspect of inclusive decision-making

Issue of forming a civic stance of universities in the context of an inclusive approach to decision-making within the framework of global and national societal values is raised. The paper emphasizes the importance and necessity of studying and implementing progressive global experience in the field of inclusion. The ways of introducing into Ukrainian society the latest paradigm of inclusive social and educational environment of universities as a basis for social protection, social cohesion, and responsibility of citizens of our state in the conditions of modern integration challenges are analyzed as a means of forming civic stance and strengthening the social cohesion of the public. The current issues of the role of universities in society, strategies for shaping their strategies for implementing an inclusive approach to decision-making, promoting career development of students (including those with special educational needs), internationalization of education, etc., are outlined. An analytical overview of trends in the development of higher education institutions as factors of integration into the global scientific and educational space is provided. The urgent state of formation of an inclusive, innovative, socially cohesive society is highlighted, and concepts of reform, bases of a perspective vision of the development of Ukrainian higher education are characterized. Key parameters for ensuring the ability of specialists to compete in society are identified. The prospects for forming the civic stance of universities through an inclusive approach to decision-making for the professional training of specialists in the conditions of an inclusive society are also identified
