Has the Household Old-Age Burden Affected Farm Household Incomes? Evidence from a Survey of Chinese Farm Households

Income increase is an important way to achieve comprehensive human development and to escape from poverty, and the growing aging problem in rural China poses a challenge to farm household income increase. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of China’s rural old-age burden on farm household income, this paper empirically examines the impact and mechanism of household old-age burden on farm household income based on the data from the 2023 micro-farm field survey of China’s Henan Province, utilizing linear regression modeling and mediation effect modeling, filling the research gaps in the related fields. The results of the study found that, firstly, family old-age burden has a significant impact on the income of farm households, and that the heavier the family old-age burden, the lower the total income of farm households. Secondly, from the results of the heterogeneity of the impact, the poorer the health condition, the greater the negative impact of family old-age burden on farm household income. Old-age burden has a greater impact on high-income farm households than on low-income farm households, and old-age burden has a significant impact on the income of part-time farm households, while the impact is not significant on purely farm and non-farm households. Thirdly, the heavier the household old-age burden, the more unfavorable it is to the non-farm employment of farm households, thus affecting the income capacity of farm households. Finally, corresponding countermeasures and recommendations are put forward in three areas, namely, the continuous improvement of the social old-age security system, the realization of the function of the social old-age mechanism as an old-age pocket for key special groups, and the improvement of the social flexible employment mechanism.

Research on the Impact of Digital Inclusive Finance on the Income Gap between Urban and Rural Areas under the Background of National Unified Market

In 2022, the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Accelerating the Construction of a National Unified Market" proposed the concept of a "unified market", which can effectively allocate resources to maximize social welfare. A national unified market with fair competition, a competitive venue and mechanism with non-monopoly and fair trading characteristics and functions. Since the reform and opening up, China's economy has achieved sustained high-speed growth, and the goal of high-quality development in the new era has shifted to solving the problem of imbalanced and insufficient development, narrowing the gap between urban and rural regional development, achieving comprehensive human development, and achieving common prosperity for all people. In depth exploration of how to further promote rural revitalization and common prosperity has important practical significance and value. This article conducts theoretical analysis to propose research hypotheses, collects digital inclusive finance index and urban-rural income related data from 2013 to 2022, constructs the Theil index to measure urban-rural income gap, constructs a panel data model, studies the impact of digital inclusive finance on urban-rural income gap, verifies hypotheses, and concludes that digital inclusive finance should focus on development in the context of a unified national market.

Economic and technological modernization and transformation of Russia in the context of a new reality

Purpose: through the prism of new knowledge generated by the author, to explore possible ways of modernization and transformation of Russia in the conditions of the new reality: conducting the special military operation, the sharp confrontation with the collective West, the series of sanctions and counter-sanctions, the new economic course – supply-side economics, the Concept of technological development until 2030 and development of neural network artifi cial intelligence. The article is a natural continuation and an integral part of the research conducted by the author over several decades and dedicated to finding ways to a future without crises and destructive wars for Russia and the global world. Methods: the article uses a complex of general scientifi c methods, including analysis, generalization, comparison, etc. The research is based on the results of the author’s previous works and is relies on the methodological tools formed in them – new knowledge, a new scientific paradigm (NSP). Results: the author analyzed the state of Russia in the context of the need to gain economic and technological sovereignty. It is shown that there remains a lack of eff ective ways out of the deepest crisis and understanding the future in economic, scientifi c and technological aspects. Analysis of Russian and foreign publications through the prism of new knowledge made it possible to once again prove that the future of the world does not lie in the development of artifi cial intelligence, but in the transition to a new development paradigm (NDP) and comprehensive human development in a new model of life. Conclusions and Relevance: the conclusions of the author’s previous research on the need to transition to a new development paradigm were confi rmed. New evidence has been obtained that Russia, in the conditions of the new reality that began in February 2022, has become even closer to switching to NDP, the meaning and goal of which is the person himself, within the framework of which his highest need is satisfi ed – to become perfect in the physical, intellectually and spiritually.

Spirituality in the realities of digitalization of society in the era of intelligent machines development

The study is devoted to determining the consequences of the digitalization of society in the era of the development of intelligent machines from the perspective of spirituality. Using the regression analysis method, econometric modeling of the impact of the spread of artificial intelligence (according to Tortois) on human development (according to UNDP) in 2022 is carried out. The obtained quantitative results are complemented by qualitative research based on the methodology of neo-institutionalism using a critical analysis method to identify hidden threats of artificial intelligence for spirituality, not reflected in official statistics. As a result, it was concluded that the spread of artificial intelligence has a contradictory impact on society. A quantitative analysis of official statistics showed that the spread of artificial intelligence not only does not slow down, but even accelerates human development. At the same time, qualitative analysis pointed to hidden threats to the digitalization of society in the era of the development of intelligent machines for spirituality, requiring attention and neutralization by managing the spread of artificial intelligence. A scientific interpretation of these potential problems of the spread of artificial intelligence as “institutional traps” is given. These include: 1) the “trap” of the transition from human-inspired labor to impersonal production in the process of automation; 2) the “trap” of the spiritual and moral assessment of the release of personnel under the influence of automation; 3) the “trap” of eliminating the spiritual component from social communications during their transition to a human-machine format; 4) the “trap” of distortion of spirituality in the “distorting mirror” of artificial intelligence when mindlessly copying people’s social and moral assessments; 5) the “trap” of the transition from spiritual and moral understanding of the situation to “blind faith” in artificial intelligence with intellectual support for decision-making (rationality = soullessness). The uniqueness of the article and its theoretical significance lies in the fact that it was the first to reveal and systematize the socio-ethical aspects of the spread of artificial intelligence. The practical significance of the new scientific results obtained in the article is due to the fact that they revealed the prospect of improving the management of the spread of artificial intelligence. In order to minimize the risk of personality degradation, that is, to achieve consistent comprehensive human development in the era of the development of intelligent machines, it is recommended to pay attention to issues of spirituality. This will ensure the humanization of artificial intelligence, thereby optimizing its impact on society.

Liberal Education Towards Comprehensive Human Development

In the trend of globalization, integration, and expanded international exchange, the education of people based on “creeds”, and “administrative orders” has proved to be lost, and no longer appropriate, causing many negative consequences, the most obvious manifestation of that mechanism is to eradicate the person, the sense of self-control, the spirit of initiative, integration, and independence in thought, critical thinking and confidence of progression and creativity; stimulate dependence, just get used to stereotypes, act blindly, etc. That’s the real reason why we need a liberal education. And the objective of this article is to build, develop and expand the values: of truth, goodness, and beauty, toward completely liberating people through analyzing the meaning and importance of the “liberal” educational method. To achieve this objective, the article uses a qualitative analysis method combined with the comparison method of synthesizing and exploiting data to ensure truthfulness in identifying and evaluating problems.

Human development in Vietnam: A systematic review

Human development in general and Vietnam, in general, is aimed at improving capacity and creating conditions for comprehensive human development, especially adding value to people in the standard of living, education, and health. This study is based on the principles, evaluation criteria, and human development data of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Research methods include analysis and synthesis, logic and history, synthesis and generalization, comparison and compare, and make statistics to analyze and evaluate the current human development situation in Vietnam. Research shows that economic growth in Vietnam has made a positive contribution to investment in human development in Vietnam, but the results of economic growth being "pervasive" to people are still limited. The study recommends that policymakers should develop policies for human development in Vietnam.

PROMOTING ROLES OF THE FAMILY FOR BUILDING VIETNAMESE CULTURE AND PEOPLE TODAY

The family has always played an especially important position and role in the evolution of human history. At the moment, the family plays a vital role in orienting and developing personality as well as educating people to become decent citizens with sufficient physical and mental power to contribute to the overall growth of society. In order to successfully realize the goal of building a rich, prosperous and happy country, it is necessary to strongly promote the role of the family in cultural construction and comprehensive human development, as the driving force for national development and integration. The article uses some basic methods to study issues about promoting the roles of the family in building the Vietnamese culture and people today.

A Qualitative Review on Islamic Sustainable Finance

The current paradigm of Islamic economics and finance leads to comprehensive human development by taking into account the objectives of Islamic sharia (maqasid sharia). This study aims to determine the development and mapping of Islamic Sustainable Finance from research published by reputable journals with the theme of Islamic economics and finance. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection in the form of journal publications from various Scopus-indexed journals with the theme of Islamic Sustainable Finance. There are 154 journal publications with the theme of Islamic Sustainable Finance for the period 1994-2022. The data were processed with Microsoft Excel and analyzed using Nvivo 12 Plus software. The results show a fairly fluctuating increase in journal publications with the theme of Islamic Sustainable Finance. Of the 154 published journals indexed by Scopus, the words that appear the most are Islamic, finance, financial, sustainable, development, social, banking, financing, waqf, and economic with the percentage of each word being 3.22%, 1.55%, 1.50 %, 0.95%, 0.84%, 0.78%, 0.68%, 0.54%, 0.49%, and 0.48%. That is, most states that the development of Islamic finance is sustainable, in terms of banks, social financing, waqf, economics, and so on. This research is expected to add to academic studies related to Islamic finance to achieve a sustainable future for Islamic finance.

Theoretical-Conceptual Framework of the Methodology for the Development of Language Competence in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language at the Pre-University Level

In the last five years, the Dominican educational system has undergone a series of transformations, as a result of the implementation by the Ministry of Education (MINERD) of a process of revision and update of the curricular bases, with a view to the implementation of a new curricular design by competencies. These reformulations seek, in short, the achievement of the goals set around the improvement of educational quality demanded by society and the "right to full and comprehensive human development of all citizens. The general objective of the study is to develop a methodology with the integration of technology for the development of linguistic competence in the learning process of the English language, as a foreign language at the pre-university level of the Dominican educational system, and thus positively influence in the fulfillment of the objectives foreseen in the curricular design (linguistic level B2) For the fulfillment of the outlined objectives, the various scientific methods of theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical research are used. For data collection, two questionnaires were used for teachers to publicize the methodologies that are implemented for the development of linguistic skills in the teaching of English as a foreign language at pre-university levels, generating a scientific contribution for their contribution and perfect it. The results obtained from the research indicate a group satisfaction index by teachers of 0.9, thanks to the strategies and their impact on the development of linguistic skills as a foreign language, taking advantage of the influence of families. Also, a favorable score was obtained in the activity plan for teacher training. On the other hand, the application of focus group techniques in which the methodological conceptions and the plan to train teachers are considered. Finally, recommendations are made for the strengthening of these activities and at the same time, collaborate to continue with the effectiveness of the strategies in linguistic competences.

Obstacles of Implementation of Dry Laboratories from the Science Teachers' Perspective in Na'our District

The current study aimed to identify the obstacles ofimplementation of dry laboratories from the science teachers' perspective in Na'our District. The study used the descriptive analytical method.To collect data, a questionnaire wasdeveloped. In its initial form, this questionnaire consisted of (50) items and in its final form (49) items They are divided into (5) fields: the computer lab equipment, (10) items, the curriculum: (11) items, the school administration: (9) items, the teacher’s field: (11) items and the student’s field: (8) items. The study population consisted of all science teachers in Na'our District, who were (92) male and female teachers - (47) male and (45) female teachers- according to the statistics of the Jordanian Ministry of Education for the academic year 2021/2022. The sample was chosen randomly as (59) male and female teachers accounted for (64%) of the study population. The results showed that thedegree of obstacles of implementation of virtual laboratories from the perspective of the science teachers in Na'our District was high, and the results of the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of The significance (α≥0.05) in the obstacles to implementationof virtual laboratories from the perspective of science teachers in Na'our District was attributed to gender, scientific qualification and experience. The study introduced several recommendations, the most important of which is providing the appropriate infrastructure for the implementation of dry laboratories through qualified and trained human resources, as well as the required communication lines. Also, the need to prepare training programs for students, teachers and administrators in schools to make the most from technology in conducting dry experiments. Other recommendations were the Ministry initiative to develop policies and strategies for education based ontoday's requirements and scientific and technical development, and adopting educational and technological plans to utilize scientific transformations in comprehensive human development projects. Spatial Measurements and Influencing Factors of Comprehensive Human Development in China

Comprehensive human development is the ultimate goal of achieving a happy life and creating sustainable social development. This study examines 31 provinces in China as the research object, constructs an evaluation index system for comprehensive human development in three dimensions (human–nature, human–society, human–human), and analyzes the spatio-temporal evolution patterns. Barrier and regression analyses are used to identify the main drivers of the levels in different regions. The results show that: (1) China’s level of comprehensive human development has been on the rise since 2005. The level of harmonious development in human–nature and human–society is constantly improving, while the process of harmonious development in the human–human dimension is, relatively, lagging behind. There are large regional differences, with high-level areas being distributed in the northeastern and eastern coastal provinces, while the central and western regions are farther behind. (2) An analysis of the barriers shows that the development of green infrastructure is the main barrier affecting differences in the level of harmonious development in the human–nature dimension. Income distribution, housing problems, and recreation levels are the main barriers affecting differences in the level of harmonious development in the human–society dimension. The level of information technology and aging issues are the main barriers affecting the differences in the level of harmonious development of the human–human dimension. (3) Regression analysis shows that the level of economic development and the degree of openness have a significant impact on the level of comprehensive human development, and that industrialization plays a negative role, while the size of government and the level of marketization have a weak effect on comprehensive human development.

Learner evaluation of human resources training quality to meet requirements of businesses in the digital era at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Vietnam

In the comprehensive human development policy for people to be full of knowledge, skills, experience and attitude according to the strategy of the CPV and the State at the 9th and 11th Party Congresses, training quality human resources to meet requirements of businesses in the digital era has a significant and important role in terms of both theory and practice. This article research and analyzes the evaluation of learners about human resources training quality to meet requirements of businesses in the digital era at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE). The study results show that, learners evaluate the current training quality in HCMUTE on aspects such as contents of teaching, examination and assessment; learning conditions; qualifications of professional staff; library services; teaching methods of lecturers; foreign language proficiency and communication skills as good and very good; and there are very little comments that disagree.

ПРОБЛЕМА ТРУДОВОГО ВИХОВАННЯ В ІСТОРИЧНОМУ ВИМІРІ

The article reveals the foreign experience of labor education of the younger generation. It has been established that for many millennia one of the main tasks of education has been to prepare young people for participation in all human activities. However, in different social formations, in different countries, this problem was solved differently. All progressive educators of the past considered work as a necessary component of comprehensive human development. The combination of work and study was first discussed by humanist educators of the Renaissance. In the works of utopian socialists T. Mora and T. Companella, in the works of humanist F. Rabelais and some other authors of this and later times expressed interesting ideas about educating young people based on the acquisition of real knowledge and active participation in work. The theory of real-practical upbringing and education was systematically presented for the first time in the works of the great Czech teacher J.A. Comenius. His merit is that he was the first to try to introduce work in school. Although he did not even raise the question of combining learning with work; a famous teacher simply puts science and work at school in one line. But the very fact of introducing labor into the school is an attempt to destroy the opposition of mental education to labor education, which has developed over the centuries. If Ya. Comenius for the first time put labor education and mental education together (having introduced the first in school), then J.J. Rousseau is well aware of and enshrines this idea in his demand to teach a new person "to work as a peasant and think like a philosopher." In the pedagogical system of J.G. Pestalozzi's idea of labor education is gaining a leading role. The teacher approached her on the basis of socio-economic, philosophical and psychological-pedagogical principles as diverse as anyone before him. In his work J.G. Pestalozzi not only develops the ideas of J.A. Comenius, J.J. Rousseau, but also raises new questions, highlights new horizons of the problem. Although not all the questions were able to justify and correctly solve J.G. Pestalozzi, but the very production of them made the followers think and seek their own solution to these issues. In the nineteenth century, schooling became widespread in Western countries, which led to the problem of vocational training in schools. Therefore, it was during this period that G. Kershensteiner created a labor school, in which, according to the teacher, it is necessary to replace verbal methods with active methods, which in his works he called labor. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Ukraine, following the path of democratic transformations in education, successfully assimilating the advanced foreign experience of labor education of children, created its own system of labor education of the younger generation.

Community Participation-Based Environmental and Health Management in Dhaka City Suburban Slum Areas

The purpose of this article is to identify the role of the community in dealing with the problem of slum housing in the city of Dhaka with several approaches, namely collaboration between organizations and the role of the community itself. Several programs that have been implemented to solve this problem are public housing, slum reconstruction program, and Approach to Basteess. The potential of the impoverished to improve their living conditions and hence their productivity and income is demonstrated by the housing projects implemented by non-governmental organizations. Living under these conditions can lead to a variety of negative consequences, including decreased health, increased pollution, the spread of illness, and even criminal conduct.
