Abstract

Human development in general and Vietnam, in general, is aimed at improving capacity and creating conditions for comprehensive human development, especially adding value to people in the standard of living, education, and health. This study is based on the principles, evaluation criteria, and human development data of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Research methods include analysis and synthesis, logic and history, synthesis and generalization, comparison and compare, and make statistics to analyze and evaluate the current human development situation in Vietnam. Research shows that economic growth in Vietnam has made a positive contribution to investment in human development in Vietnam, but the results of economic growth being "pervasive" to people are still limited. The study recommends that policymakers should develop policies for human development in Vietnam.
