Joint Compression and Encryption of Distributed Sources Based on Wavelet Transform and Semi-Tensor Product Compressed Sensing

Aiming at the shortage of data transmission security and efficiency in wireless distributed transient pressure testing system, a new distributed information source joint compression and encryption scheme is proposed in this paper by combining wavelet transform, semi-tensor product compressed sensing and hash chain. Firstly, the signals are decomposed into different components by wavelet transform. Then, the measurement matrix of semi-tensor product compressed sensing is updated with the hash chain related to plaintext, and its used to compress and encrypt the different wavelet components. Finally, the measurement results of the previous steps are scrambled by hash sequences for further encryption. In this paper, simulation test is carried out by using the shockwave signal measured in practice. The simulation results show that the scheme has good reconstruction accuracy and security. When the compression rate reaches 0.25, the scheme can reduce the storage space and the computing resources required by the measurement matrix to 1/32 and 1/8 of traditional distributed compressed sensing. The proposed scheme is a flexible and efficient joint compression and encryption framework, which can flexibly adjust the measurement number of different types of components to ensure important information is effectively measured, balance reconstruction quality, compression rate and system resource consumption.

A multistage retrieval system for health-related misinformation detection

Web search is widely used to find online medical advice. As such, health-related information access requires retrieval algorithms capable of promoting reliable documents and filtering out unreliable ones. To this end, different types of components, such as query-document matching features, passage relevance estimation and AI-based reliability estimators, need to be combined. In this paper, we propose an entire pipeline for misinformation detection, based on the fusion of multiple content-based features. We present experiments which study the influence of each pipeline stage for the target task.Our technological solution incorporates signals from technologies derived from diverse research fields, including search, deep learning for natural language processing, as well as advanced supervised and unsupervised learning. To combine evidence, different score fusion strategies are compared, including unsupervised rank fusion techniques and learning-to-rank methods. The reference framework for empirically validating our solution is the TREC Health Misinformation Track, which provides several challenging subtasks that foster research on the identification of reliable and correct information for health-related decision making tasks. More specifically, we address a total recall task, the goal of which is to identify all the documents conveying incorrect information for a specific set of topics, and an ad-hoc retrieval task, aiming to rank credible and correct information over incorrect information. All variants are evaluated with an assorted set of effectiveness metrics, which includes standard search measures, such as R-Precision, Average Precision or Normalised Discounted Cumulative Gain, and innovative metrics based on the compatibility between the ranked output and two reference rankings composed of helpful and harmful documents, respectively.Our experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed pipeline stages and indicate that sophisticated supervised fusion methods do not fare better than simpler fusion alternatives. Additionally, for reliability estimation, unsupervised textual similarity performs better than textual classification based on supervised learning. The results also show that the presented approach is highly competitive when compared with state-of-the-art solutions for the same problem.

Generative and Evolutionary Techniques for the Process of Creating Architectural Objects on the Base of a 3D Prototype Model

The use of a genetic algorithm in evolutionary design is one of the major generative approaches for synthesis and evaluation during the design process. The process stimulates creativity in generating new, unexpected artifacts and aiding in their evaluation. We analyze the subject of the evolutionary design of building form styling following the aesthetic preferences of the designer. Component types and connection patterns characterize the building form and the rules of its composition. The designer using a graphics editor creates a 3D prototype model of a building form representative of his/her stylistic preferences by selecting different types of components and patterns of their connections. In the proposed evolutionary design, how the designer prototype model is organized, processed, and manipulated in generating buildings is based on the special graph structures. The research question addressed in this paper is, “How can a designer-defined 3D prototype model along with non-numerical graph calculations, influence computational creativity?” The main aim is to contribute to a better understanding of the non-numerical graph calculations describing the design process where visual perception is the driving force of creativity. Utilizing the developed formal description of the design synthesis, methodological contributions to generative and evolutionary techniques for computational creativity are presented.

CLASSIFICATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF FEED FOR DECORATIVE AND SINGING BIRDS

In the developed countries of the world, animal business is one of the most profitable and promising branches of production.Pet business includes the totality and interaction between enterprises engaged in the production and distribution of goods and services for pets, and consumers of these goods and services. The structure of pet business is represented by pet products, services, and animals, and pet products, in turn, by feed, medicines, care products, and accessories. The global pet food market size was valued at USD 94.76 billion in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.4 % from 2022 to 2030. Increasing consumer awareness regarding natural and organic pet food products has forced the manufacturers to shift their focus from synthetic to natural products which has acted as one of the major forces impacting the global market. In Ukraine, in 2017–2021, the category «Animals – pets and feed for them» in the structure of retail turnover occupied a share of 0.3 – 0.5 %. The volume of retail turnover during this period increased 3.4 times, from UAH 1,612.5 million in 2017 to UAH 5,468.6 million in 2021. In Ukraine, goods are classified according to the classifications DC 016-2010 «State Classifier of Products and Services» and DC 021:2015 «Unified Procurement Dictionary», as well as the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity, which is the commodity nomenclature of the Customs Tariff of Ukraine. According to the current classifiers, separate groups of goods directly related to goods for pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are provided only for feed and brushes for animal care. Yes, according to DK 016-2010, ready pet food has the code 10.92.10-00.00 and according to DK 021:2015 – 15713000-9 and does not have further details. Today, the owners of decorative and singing birds have a relatively wide range of ready-made feeds at their disposal. Analyzing the feed market for decorative and singing birds, we saw that a significant part of it is occupied by imported feeds, while the assortment of domestic feeds on the Ukrainian market is not large and does not always meet market requirements and cannot withstand competition. However, it is difficult to call the presented feeds complete, since they are mainly different types of feed mixtures, which include, depending on the price category, different types of components: starting with cereals and ending with various nuts, dried fruits, etc. Ready-made feeds in combination with a correctly selected feeding regime strengthen the health of birds, and also meet their expectations regarding taste qualities and the owner's expectations regarding the price and convenience of feeding. Careful observation of the appearance and behavior of birds allows you to establish the correct diet for your pet and determine his preferences for one or another type of feed. In order to understand the entire range of feeds offered on the market, it is necessary to study and systematize them. Based on the analysis of feeds presented on the market, we proposed a classification of feeds by types of poultry, purpose, price, form of release, physiological features and age, as well as by type of packaging. By bird species, feed is divided into three varieties: for singing birds, for decorative birds, and for parrots, which are a kind of hybrid of the first two species. For parrots, food can be distributed according to their size: for large, medium and small. According to their purpose, complete ration feeds and feed mixes, treats, and feeds fed for therapeutic purposes and for preventive purposes are distinguished. By price, fodder for decorative and singing birds is divided into three price categories: economy, business and premium classes. This is the formation of classes was developed based on the income of the population. Economy class includes consumers who can afford to buy food for their pets at a price of UAH 70 to 100 per kilogram, business class – UAH 101-250 /kg, premium class – consumers who can buy food for of their pets is higher than UAH 251 /kg. According to the form of release, there are molded fodder and loose fodder mixes. Formed – represented by a small amount of granulated and partially extruded feed. According to the physiological characteristics, feed can be divided into feed for the pre-nesting period, during the molting period, for birds, for adult birds at rest and for females during the feeding period. The type of fodder packaging is also of great importance: natural (cardboard), polymer and combined (based on cardboard and polyethylene).

Nanofibrous composite from polycaprolactone‐polyethylene glycol‐aloe vera as a promising scaffold for bone repairing

AbstractRecently, herbal extract‐loaded nanofibers have been developed using different types of components for tissue engineering applications. In this study, nanofibrous webs are fabricated from polycaprolactone (PCL)‐polyethylene glycol (PEG) 1:1 mass ratio blend incorporated with different amounts of aloe vera extract through electrospinning. Combining the potential therapeutic properties of aloe vera in bone repair with physicochemical and biological properties of the nanofibers leads to design a promising scaffold for bone repairing. The produced scaffolds are characterized using scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and mechanical‐strength test. From the results, the electrospun PCL‐PEG‐aloe vera web with 1:1:1 mass ratio shows a bead‐less bimodal morphology consisting of nano‐scale and micro‐scale fibers with an average diameter of 280 and 670 nm, respectively. FTIR spectra revealed the possible hydrogen bonding between the three components. Mechanical investigation exhibited higher strength of aloe vera loaded nanofibers to unloaded nanofibers. From the MTT assay results, aloe vera‐loaded nanofibrous scaffolds showed a high level of cell compatibility as well as excellent penetration, cell growth, and proliferation. According to the result of calcination, the ability of bone repairing was verified. The result confirmed a higher amount of calcium deposition on nanofibrous scaffolds incorporated with aloe vera extract.

Improving Efficiency and Effectiveness of Robotic Process Automation in Human Resource Management

Automation technology is changing and transforming innovation into the industrial landscape and Human Resources (HR) should ensure to adapt and practice its deployment to realise its benefits in time and for cost savings. The implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in HR can help to offer better service to ensure compliance of the processes with standards and regulations. RPA is a software technology that manages software robots to emulate human actions when interacting with digital platforms. RPA is a solution that could perform repetitions to take over activities carried out by humans. However, a robot is not thought to be able to replace the HR but is, instead, useful to support driven processes. The purpose of the study is to prove the efficiency and effectiveness of RPA in the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) compared to the manual process performed by a human. Different types of components and characteristics were identified to adopt RPA in HRMS based on the data measurement in the implementation process. This study designs and develops an HRMS model using RPA tools to achieve the target process. The model was developed based on a case study of an existing model of RPA in HRMS from an IT consultancy industry. In the HR process, the project uses an application focusing on the parameters of gathering, storing and accessing employees’ information from other modules. Lastly, the gaps in the HRMS to improve productivity are evaluated and explained.

INNOVATIVE APPROACHES IN THE FORMATION OF COMPOUND FEED RECIPES FOR DECORATIVE BIRDS AND SINGING BIRDS AND TECHNOLOGY OF COMPOUND FEED PRODUCTION FOR THEM

The share of compound feeds for unproductive pets in the compound feed markets of the world is growingevery year. In Europe, decorative and songbird birds are the third largest pet population (cats and dogs being numbersone and two, pectively), according to FEDIAF data, with 51.87 million decorative birds in all of Europe (37.23 millionof those in the European Union) in 2019.Decorative and songbirds need complete feeding to maintain life and health. Today, owners of decorative andsongbirds have a wide range of ready-made food, which allows them to make the right choice of appropriate feedingregime for their pets. Analyzing the market of feed for decorative and songbirds, we saw that a significant part of it isimported feed, while the range of domestic feed in the Ukrainian market is very small and does not always meet marketrequirements and can not compete. However, the presented compound feeds can hardly be called complete, as they aremainly different types of feed mixtures, which include, depending on the price category, different types of components:from cereals and ending with different nuts and dried fruits.Compound feed should contain all the components necessary for energy production, growth, tissueregeneration, as well as to regulate metabolism. Complete feed for decorative and songbirds must contain a certainamount of all nutrients and biologically active substances. Factors such as age, general health, breeding season,growth, molting, housing conditions and even the season should also be considered.To date, there are a number of issues that need to improve our knowledge of the nutrient and biologicallyactive needs of each species of decorative and songbird, including the characteristics of feed materials, the amount ofenergy, digestibility of feed and the content of nutrients and biologically active substances.In this regard, it is necessary to study each class of nutrients and biologically active substances and features ofthe formation of compound feed recipes, taking into account the need for decorative and songbirds. To study in detailthe functional purpose of nutrients and biologically active substances, symptoms that occur in the body of decorativeand songbirds in their absence or excess in the feed, as well as their sources and minimum needs of birds duringreproduction, growth and maintenance of healthy birds.To meet the forage needs of decorative and songbirds when kept in captivity, one of the most effective methodsis to create complete feed by using innovative technologies (for example, in the form of crumbs or a blend of crumbsobtained by extrusion). This will provide an opportunity to meet both the behavioral and feeding needs of birds.

Theoretical modeling and optimization of interface design to improve thermal conductivity in Mg-Dia composites

This study aimed to theoretically optimize the Mg-Dia interface with components of different types and thicknesses to increase the thermal conductivity of diamond-doped magnesium matrix composites. Acoustic mismatch (AMM), diffusion mismatch model (DMM) and differential effective medium (DEM) models were used for TC calculations of the designed composites. According to the results, TiC, SiC, ZrC, and B 4 C carbides are the components that can increase the TC value up to 529 W/mK; however, most of them, except SiC, negatively affected the TC value with the increase in thickness. B and Cr elements also provided higher TC values compared to other elements. Except for the Cr-CrC 3 C 2 conversion, all other carbide conversions had a positive effect on TC. MgO, Al 2 O 3 and ZrO oxides alone or together with MgO increased the TC value up to 525 W/mK. Apart from this, MgO had a negative effect on all components except B or B 4 C. As a result, Mg-MgO-B-Dia was observed as the component providing the most stable TC value even if the thickness increased. This is thought to be due to less scattering during heat transfer between components with close Debye temperatures. It has also been understood that these results can deviate 29% from the experimental one even with the best method.

TEACHING GRAMMAR ON ESP CLASSES

The article deals with teaching grammar on English for specific purpose classes at those higher educational institutions that do not have languages as their majors. The author points out that textbooks in English for specific purposes do not contain any grammar materials or cover just main points paying little attention to grammar practice. Some of them has grammar references where students can learn some basic information about grammar structures but there are no practical activities. The article emphasis that nowadays communicative approach is prevailing so teaching grammar should be based on it as well. The formation of students’ grammar skills is a burning problem, as it requires an integrated approach. The author underlines that the communicative goal of learning grammar allows forming the basic requirement for grammatical material to be mastered: it must be sufficient for the use of language as a means of communication and real for learning within the program. Grammar skills are components of different types of speech activity, and therefore they differ depending on the type of speech communication. Studying grammar helps to systematize students’ knowledge. However, grammatical rules must be understood, so a communicative principle forms a habit and gradually it becomes automatic. The author proposes a rough plan how to work with grammar topics based on texts on ESP classes which consists of the chain of logically and methodically connected activities aimed at efficient and lasting acquisition of knowledge. The author concludes that such grammatical drillings will be of great help in ESP classes because it does not only help to introduce a grammar topic and to revise vocabulary but to motivate students making their conclusions, develop critical thinking, make them using grammatical and lexical materials together that allows getting fluency and accuracy.

Reliability analysis for dependent stress-strength reliability of multi-state system using improved generalized survival signature

In this paper, a new multi-state stress-strength model is introduced, where the system consists of multi-type multi-state components. Each type of components has two dependent strengths and is subjected to two dependent stresses in working environment. Using the proposed improved generalized survival signature, the inferences for stress-strength reliability of the multi-state system are deduced in the case that different types of components are exposed to different pairs of dependent stresses. By assuming the stress(strerngth) variables are Weibull and exponential variables, the exact expressions of the multi-state system reliability are obtained by using Gumbel copula in different states. Then the dependence parameters and maximum likelihood estimation of the stress-strength reliability are computed by adopting the pseudo maximum likelihood estimation method. In addition, the asymptotic confidence interval, parametric bootstrap confidence interval and transformation-based confidence interval for the stress-strength reliability are given. Finally, the Monte-Carlo simulation and a real data analysis are provided for illustrative purpose.

Study on solid block landslide generated tsunami using a modified δ-les-SPH model

This article established a weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (WCSPH) model to simulate the single- and multi-block landslide-tsunamis. This WCSPH model was developed based on the δ-LES-SPH method according to the characteristics of landslide-tsunamis. In this model, a modified coupled dynamic boundary method was proposed to mimic (in a uniform manner) the solid wall boundary of the fluid and the dynamic friction boundary of the slide, which expands the range of application of the δ-LES-SPH method. A particle shifting technique (PST) was introduced to improve the accuracy and robustness of the δ-LES-SPH method. The Fortran 90 language was used to implement the current SPH code, and OpenMP programming was adopted to improve the computing efficiency. Afterwards, the current procedure was utilized to model subaerial and submarine single-block rigid landslides and submarine multi-block landslides. Firstly, the SPH results of the slide movements, wave profiles and energy were compared with the experimental data and previous numerical results. Then, the energy equation is used to study the energy components of different types of landslide-tsunamis. Energy analysis reveals that the more complex the movement of the slide, the lower the efficiency of energy transfer. The consistency between the numerical results and the experimental data confirms the effectiveness and stability of the proposed method. The current model provides a useful tool to study the problem of tsunamis generated by rigid landslides.

A Methodology for Predictive Life Expectancy of Moisture-Sensitive SMT components using Neural Networks

With the increasing demand for climate-neutral production procedures, resource efficiency plays a significant role. In addition, chip shortage happened due to COVID-19, for example, costs for the global automotive industry were $210 billion in revenue in 2021 only, showing the importance of electronic components in the industry and the necessity of taking action to tackle the chip-waste problem in the production line. The circumstances show that chip availability and efficient use are gaining relevance. This also includes the optimal utilization of environmentally sensitive components to avoid waste. As for components sensitive to humidity, moisture is absorbed when they are not handled under dry conditions. In the production, after the opening of sealed packages, this causes problems such as a fracture in micro scales to inflation or popcorning of the component. Established norms like JEDEC often suggest baking the components for de-moisturizing or disposal of the components. The exact environmental condition is hardly taken into account. This yields to extra energy consumption for unnecessary drying on the one hand or waste of components on the other hand.In this contribution, the authors suggest a methodology to predict the weight change of SMT components due to moisture absorption/desorption based on environmental conditions using a Machine Learning model. In this regard, one can decide for each component individually, if it needs to be dried based on the real amount of moisture absorbed and consequently, prevent the component failure in the production procedure. Temperature, humidity, and weight change of components are measured with the Magnetic Suspension Scale (MSC) and Thermogravimetric Analyzer (TGA) over time and under defined environmental conditions. To predict the weight change over a defined period, a Recurrent Neural Network has been trained which has shown a reasonable accuracy in predicting the weight change. Furthermore, to generalize the trained model for different types of components, parameters like dimensions and density are fed into the model to represent their physical characteristics. For the validation three different component types, classified for the Moisture-Sensitivity-Level 4 (MSL) are used.

In general phonetics, vowels are considered as speech sounds pronounced without any stricture in the epiglottic cavities, with the lips, tongue, and soft palate playing a special role in their formation. In terms of structure, a distinction is made between monophthongs and diphthongs. We believe vowel formation to be influenced by numerous barriers and regard the role of lips, tongue, and soft palate as secondary one, that is, they provide only additional articulation. Of particular interest is the function of larynx with its different departments and folds. We assign a special role in the formation of vowels to vocal folds. We define vowels as laryngeal-ligamentous glottal-non-glottal and distinguish between laryngeal-rounded and laryngeal-non-rounded sounds. According to this account, a detailed acoustic analysis of linguistic material in different languages (Bashkir, Surgut dialect of Khanty, Orochon, Mennonite language) revealed a new type of vowels that had not been described in the scientific literature before. We termed such vowel sounds dufons with the following definition: dufons are semi-long laryngeal-ligamentous glottal-non-silent (vowel) sounds with a complex structure: they have two vocal components of different types and unequal durations within one core without a glottal insertion (for example, oѣa, oѣъ, eѣa).

THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS AND SIGNIFICANCE OF CREATIVE ECONOMY IN MODERN CONDITIONS

The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of creative economy concept formation, to determine approaches to the study of creative economy as a systemic phenomenon and its significance for economic development. To achieve these goals, the following general scientific methods were used: analysis, synthesis, systematization, theoretical generalization, abstraction and analogy. Different approaches to the study of creative economy as a systemic phenomenon (new concept, system of specific socio-economic relations, part of the world economy or a specific industry, driver of economic growth, human-oriented approach) are analyzed. The creative economy is considered in the context of ensuring possibilities its development by the carriers of human potential, on which its formats, efficiency, rates of formation and scaling directly depend. The attention is focused on the place of human potential in the system of creative economy formation. Creative components of human potential (knowledge, experience, innovation) are determined. The author’s definition of the «creative economy» concept is formulated on the basis of the creative component of human potential usіng and the results of creative activity (new technologies, innovations, information, knowledge). Modern approaches to the definition of creative industries and their composition (a set of certain types of economic activity, a set of certain professions, a creative city, part of the economic system) are considered. It is determined that the attribution of different industries to creative industries in different countries and international organizations creates obstacles to the development and formation of a single mechanism for using creative industries as a tool of state and regional economic growth, therefore, it is important to develop a unified methodological approach to their distribution according to the share of the creative component. The practical significance lies in the fact that the main features for determining the creative component in different types of economic activity are formulated.

Galactic traversability: a new concept for extragalactic SETI

AbstractInterstellar travel in the Milky Way is commonly thought to be a long and dangerous enterprise, but are all galaxies so hazardous? I introduce the concept ofgalactic traversabilityto address this question. Stellar populations are one factor in traversability, with higher stellar densities and velocity dispersions aiding rapid spread across a galaxy. The interstellar medium (ISM) is another factor, as gas, dust grains and cosmic rays all pose hazards to starfarers. I review the current understanding of these components in different types of galaxies, and conclude that red quiescent galaxies without star formation have favourable traversability. Compact elliptical galaxies and globular clusters could be ‘super-traversable’, because stars are packed tightly together and there are minimal ISM hazards. Overall, if the ISM is the major hindrance to interstellar travel, galactic traversability increases with cosmic time as gas fractions and star formation decline. Traversability is a consideration in extragalactic surveys for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI).

Reliability optimization of linear consecutive-k-out-of-n: F systems driven by reconfigurable importance

As a typical kind of reconfigurable system, linear consecutive-k-out-of-n: F (Lin/Con/k/n: F) systems have a wide application in some complex engineering systems, such as oil pipeline systems, spacecraft relay station systems, and batch sampling-based quality control systems. Considering the high-reliability requirements for complex systems, how to improve the system reliability cost-effectively is critical to economically grantee the high reliability and long lifetime of practical systems. The reconfigurable features of Lin/Con/k/n: F systems provide a feasible integrated method, combining component rearrangement and component maintenance, to maximize the system's reliability after a period of operation. Moreover, the reconfigurable importance (RI) can evaluate the contribution of a component to improve the system reliability, and RI also can assess the relationship between component reliability and the optimal arrangement. Thus, a reconfigurable importance-based genetic algorithm (RIGA) is proposed to solve the reliability optimization problem of Lin/Con/k/n: F systems by utilizing the advantages of RI and GA. Experiment 1 (for typical systems) and Experiment 2 (for different types of components) are designed to illustrate the cost-effective characteristics of RIGA. In addition, a numerical example of production monitoring systems (PMS) further demonstrates the effectiveness of RI for guiding the solving process of the reliability optimization problem.

Protection Systems for DC Shipboard Microgrids

In recent years, shipboard microgrids (MGs) have become more flexible, efficient, and reliable. The next generations of future shipboards are required to be equipped with more focuses on energy storage systems to provide all-electric shipboards. Therefore, the shipboards must be very reliable to ensure the operation of all parts of the system. A reliable shipboard MG should be protected from system faults through protection selectivity to minimize the impact of faults and facilitate detection and location of faulty zones with the highest accuracy and speed. It is necessary to have an across-the-board overview of the protection systems in DC shipboards. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the issues and challenges faced in the protection of shipboard MGs. Furthermore, given the different types of components utilized in shipboard MGs, the fault behavior analysis of these components is provided to highlight the requirements for their protection. The protection system of DC shipboards is divided into three sub-systems, namely, fault detection, location, and isolation. Therefore, a comprehensive comparison of different existing fault detection, location, and isolation schemes, from traditional to modern techniques, on shipboard MGs is presented to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme.

Goal. To establish the parameters of phase transitions of experimental vegetable fats by the method of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) in correlation with their fatty acid and triacylglycerol composition. Methods. The parameters of phase transitions and mass fractions of solid triacylglycerols were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The fatty acid and triacylglycerol composition of vegetable fats was determined using chromatographic analysis. Results. The fatty acid and triacylglycerol composition of the experimental samples of sunflower oil and palm olein was established. Of the fatty acid composition, sunflower oil and palm olein have 10 common fatty acids. Both experimental vegetable fats contain the highest content of palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids. But palm olein has a much higher content of palmitic and oleic acids, and linoleic — on the contrary, less than 6 times. The triacylglycerol composition of the experimental vegetable fats was analyzed, the main differences were established. Samples of vegetable fats by the method of differential scanning calorimetry were studied, as a result of which the temperature and thermal characteristics of phase transitions, mass fractions of solid triacylglycerols in the samples under conditions of different temperatures were established. If we compare the data of the fatty acid composition with the data of the temperature maxima of crystallization and melting, the increase in the content of palmitic acid by 1% increases the crystallization temperature by 0.52°C and the melting temperature by 0.57°C. Increasing the oleic acid content by 1% increases the crystallization temperature by 1.02°C and the melting point by 1.13°C. Conclusions. The obtained data make it possible to track the dependence of temperature behavior of vegetable fats on their composition and to quickly predict their functional properties during the selection of prescription components of different types of oil and fat products.
